Requested service for leaky sink. After trying two sketchy and unqualified plumbers beforehand, we contacted Grizzly Bear plumbing. Todd was cordial, professional, and quick. Took him about 30 minutes and gave a breakdown of tasks he performed so it was easy to understand. He even tightened up our faucet a bit while he was here. Good value for great work.

I contacted B G plumbing in yelp at almost midnight on Saturday seeking help for replacing a tankless water heater - to my surprise they replied almost immediately-I was very happy to get an appointment set for a free estimation on Sunday morning and the technician arrived on time and gave a reasonable quote. The new tankless water heater was installed the next day and everything is working now! Fantastic service! The technician Omar was great! Highly recommended

Just got my heater installed. The estimator, Don, was very knowledgable, and promised us we would be happy with upgrade he recommended. We are. The heater is silent and very efficient. The work is very tidy and the new unit is much smaller than my outdated, asbestos ridden machine.
Definitely will recommend to others.

Eugenio and Oscar did a great job for a couple of slow moving drains in my home. They were considerate in wearing shoe covers, etc and were professional.

Drigo is the absolute best. He always comes by quickly when I give him a call that something needs fixing. It's always fixed incredibly quick and he also makes a point to educate me and let me know what I can do in the future to prevent issues.

We had one bath tub stopped up not draining, and the other bathroom shower smelling bad. I found Echo on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I really appreciated that I was able to schedule the appointment with a live person on the phone. Chris came to the house on time and introduced himself. For each bathroom Chris explained what he thought needed to be done and showed us each step of the way what he was doing. He was able to clean out both drains and at our request attempted to install a new shower head which ultimately was defective. He showed us the problem and returned the original shower head suggesting another brand to buy. The work was done swiftly and efficiently and to my great relief cost less than I had expected. I would recommend Echo Plumbing to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Ed previously serviced our home for a toilet problem we were having. He was helpful on the phone before coming out to our house. He was very courteous and fixed the problem quickly and cleanly.
We recently had some other issues (toilet would bubble and flush on its own at random times) with that same toilet. He was very patient with us on the phone to discuss what the problem might be.
After mentioning the city had done some work recently on the water main along our street, he gave us really helpful advice to call the city and report the problem. In the end, he did not have to come out for an appt, and the city ended up finding and fixing the problem. They literally had to dig the street again, and found some tree roots were affecting our pipes.
Having a good relationship with a reliable plumber is important. Support small businesses, like Ed's. He may have to charge a fee if he is coming out to diagnose your plumbing issues if you are located far from where he is. However, if you end up using his services, he'll apply that fee toward your charge. Fair enough. Time and gas cost money.

Reasonable price and responsive. Reached out in the AM and had a new toilet installed the same afternoon. Highly recommend and would choose again for future jobs.

We needed new toilet and new vanity installation. Eugene and the team did professional job and very fast.

The cartridge in my shower/tub combo faucet knob thing broke and was causing the water to not properly shut off without finding the sweet spot. Also, the hot/cold water hoses were backwards when we bought the place (not a big problem, but annoying enough.) There were also 4 bathroom sinks that weren't draining well. Alligator came out the following week (since nothing was urgent) and got everything fixed in about an hour. The plumber was friendly, fast, neat/tidy and it didn't cost me too much. They are about mid-way in the range of what plumbing usually costs/in this area/for the work that they did. For the # of great reviews they have and quality of work, I think the cost is totally appropriate. Would definitely recommend and will call them again if anything else comes up.

Our toilet flooded, and the bathtub started overflowing. In the middle of the panic, I sent an SOS on yelp. Five companies replied. Oliver of Good 2 Go Plumbing provided a quote that was the best in value and was available in thirty minutes. He ended up flushing out the main line for forty percent less than the first time I had it done. Oliver was happy and pleasant to be around. He has been in the industry for many years but recently opened his small business. If you are in the need of fast, reliable, and affordable plumbing service, I highly recommend Oliver'sGood 2 Go Plumbing.

This is one of the best companies I have worked with. From the very beginning the service was outstanding at every level. Suzie in the office kept me informed of progress and provided frequent updates. Jose was very informative and answered all of my questions and had great suggestions about our project. All of the workers were very friendly. Hats off especially to Luis.
All the above would not matter if the workmanship was poor. However, every detail was performed with the utmost care, and they went out of their way to do an excellent job at every level. Far more than I would have expected. Their cost for this job was very reasonable.
I cannot recommend GAXL highly enough, and they would be my first choice for any future project.

I was referred to George Salet by a service tech at Okell's for a problem with my gas fireplace. The PG&E guy had told me I needed a whole new setup. Alan and Dave (Alan's apprentice, I hope I have the name right!) came when they said they would, wore masks, and even put on shoe covers to protect my new hardwood floors - without my asking! But best of all they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and offer an on-the-spot repair job. My fireplace is working again, and my house is warm in the middle of a vicious cold snap. I am so relieved and very grateful for their expertise. Price was right, too!

Ok here is an update on my experience with Rhino Rooter.. I have had time to think and have read Gary's response to my review which was not the greatest. However up until my last interaction with them they did a really good job which is why I hired them more than once.
I stick by the one star for that particular really poor example of customer service.. It's amazing how one bad interaction can sour a person-me in this instance that is.
So because the work up until then had been just fine. ( My roommate described Gary as a wiseass in previous interactions-but competent)
So I think if I had reviewed them before my last interaction I would have given them 4 stars so I'm revising the stars from negative one to three..
We used Rhino Rooter 3x in the last few years. Unfortunately we will not be using them again. Ever.
Last Friday I called Rhino Rooter because my 'outtake valve'(?) or whatever the thing is outside the house that connects our sewer line to the street was overflowing.
Sam came out on time, last minute, Friday afternoon and was terrific. He was thorough, polite, and knowledgeable. He cleared the line
and I paid him the $175 they required plus gave him a $20.00 tip cus he seemed so trustworthy and efficient. And for coming out on a Friday afternoon!
I thought I heard him say to me that if we had any problems to call and that there work was guaranteed maybe for 30 days? A week? I don't recall..Terrific!
Switch to today which was a nightmare.
Over the weekend we tried to flush upstairs toilet and it didn't work..and it didn't really work well all weekend even after vigorous plunging. So today I called the office and spoke with Denise and she very kindly called me back and said someone would be over in about half an hour to an hour.
So the Rhino Rooter van pulls up in front of our house and I go out to greet them. The owner Gary and another guy got out of the van both looking extremely disgruntled and really pissed off. Uh oh I thought these guys had a bad day..
Well As it turns out I don't give a rats ass how bad their day was Gary was downright rude and nasty. He kept insisting that he had been to our house at least 5x in the past and that he was not going to do anymore work for free. Huh?
I paid them each time without question and both he and Sam told us that they would come out and clean the lateral if we didn't want to get a new one which costs $5000. Gary had even said to my roommate when he came out for an estimate we should wait on replacing the lateral until the moratorium on street repair was over and instead we could call them to do the quick clean out for $150-$175. Fine, no problem.
I guess Gary thought that I was expecting him to clean out the lateral for free which I hadn't dreamed of. I thought he wold check out the toilets. When I told him that, he said that'll be $125.00. But by that time he had been so obnoxious and almost threatening there was no way I was letting him anywhere near my house or my pissoir.
As soon as they left I called the office hoping to speak with Denise and find out who let Gary's evil twin out of the box.. No I called to see if she could look us up and see if we ever got work for free which I knew we never had and which The evil Gary twin kept insisting we did.
We had planned on using Rhino Rooter to replace our sewer lateral but uh ah beware the rhino. Sam good. Rhino bad.
The first time was fine I don't recall who came out but they did a fine job and may have given us an estimate for a sewer lateral. And of course we paid them! Then 6 months or so ago even though nothing was wrong we decided to get three estimates for replacing the sewer lateral. My roommate said that the owner was kind of a wise ass but thought they would do a good job.
Nope not gonna happen.
