I originally gave Sunny and his team 5 stars for their honesty and competitive pricing over a year ago for a blocked sewer lateral. Over a year later, based on our prior experience, we hired them to do a much bigger job- replacing our sewer lateral. They did a fantastic job, they were open, and again, competitively priced, their entire team was kind, they were timely and above all, did a great job. Our back yard is not an easy yard to navigate and they seemed to do it with ease. I really appreciate them and the work they do.

We are selling our building so I wanted to clear out the outside drains and get the Sewer Lateral Certificate process going. Good to Go was prompt and professional in inspecting and estimating the work. Explaining what they were doing and answering any questions. They also applied sealant on the exterior front wall of my building. Everything, except the Sewer Lateral work (that takes more time), done in one day! I am very happy with them and I would definitely highly recommend and hire them again. I'll update my review after the Sewer Lateral Certification work is done. As part of remodeling an older apartment building in Oakland we used Yelp to find plumbers who could replace ALL the natural gas piping for 2 units.  Previous experience on another remodel at this building is the existing natural gas piping leaked at joints that were not touched and therefore decided to go with complete replacement.
We received 3 written and 1 verbal bid from Plumbers - Good 2 Go was competitive and timely.  When we decided to use, they were able to start that week and finished the job in 2 days with 4 men.
Good 2 Go agreed to come back when we had City of Oakland final plumbing inspection - this was 2 months later.  This worked out great because once the final plumbing was approved, Good 2 Go hooked up the gas to the meters and then connected to our new wall heaters including starting the pilot and verifying the new heaters functioned.

First and foremost I want to thank Oliver and his coworker    Marvin!! Being a new home owner I am sure learning a lot, I had insurance for all my appliances as is required for one year; sure enough 2 days after it expired, my hot water heater broke.
I used the yelp app to help me in my search for replacement and installation and I had numerous replies. I called them all and I am honestly telling you Oliver sounded different to them all, he sounded genuinely concerned as opposed to the rest of the calls. Within 20 minutes his coworker was knocking on my door ready to give me a free quote. A drain in my basement backed up with some pretty nasty stuff last night. I contacted Oliver and he responded right away. He was at my house with his assistant within an hour. These guys are super friendly and unpretentious which is very rare to find in contractors these days. They knew exactly what to do and had me fixed up quickly. The price was very reasonable and they are my new go to plumbers. I'm good to go!

This is a little late in posting but I wanted to make sure I gave credit to where credit is due. Originally, I spoke with Oliver about my water heater and he gave me some sound advice about contacting the original person who installed my water heater as I was having a problem with it and it was still under warranty. I contacted the original person and they said they couldn't come out for three days. That would mean three days of cold water and this was in January or February so it was cold! As I was a little distressed on what to do, and honestly didn't know what to do, Oliver called me back and offered to come out for free to look at what my problem was. He came out and was able to get my water heater started in a few minutes. In the meantime I asked him some questions about some other plumbing issues I had. In short, as I was so thankful and impressed with his excellent customer service, I decided to have him take care of my other plumbing issues and he was able to get everything done within a few hours in the same day. He was very nice, very professional, and reasonably priced. I'm really thankful for him and his team that they came out and fixed my problem immediately. I will reach out to him again if I have any future plumbing needs.

I also used Yelp's online quote request.  Oliver was first to respond and pleasant to deal with. Arrived as promised. Followed COVID protocols.  Did thorough work at a very fair price price.  Since I need this service periodically, will definitely be calling Oliver again.

Our bathroom sink had been clogged for quite some time. I decided to Yelp a plumber. I requested a quote and received a response within minutes. The quote was appropriate for the service.  Not only were they able to be at my home within 1 hour; but they were courteous, thorough and took only 15 minutes to complete the service.   Excellent customer service from Oliver and Marvin.

We had a project to build an outdoor kitchen and fireplace in our backyard and we wanted to do a built in bbq grill and gas fire logs for the fireplace hence we needed a gas line added. We met up with a few people, he gave us a decent price after negotiating, and it seemed he also had years of experience in his industry, meaning he knew what he was doing so we decided to give it a shot with him. On day 1, they did a very good job, I was very impressed, day 2 gas lines are done and we are happy with his work. I recommend him for his professionalism, reliability, Knowledge, and quality of his work. We don't regret hiring him.

We moved into a new house and the water heater stopped working. I asked many plumbers for quotes and they all quoted me over $2500 for the work. Oliver took a look at pictures that I sent him and then he made a pit stop to my house to check it out. He then gave me a quote for the work. He also seemed very honest about what needed to be done. When he came to get the water heater replaced, he noticed that there was an issue with one of the lines. He told me that it would be an extra charge, but not a significant one. In the end, still way better pricing than other plumbers quoted me. I would call him again if we ever need any plumbing work done in our home.

He was very fast at responding to my request and was professional about his work. There was an issue with my garbage disposal and Oliver came on time to my property and within less than 10 minutes found the problem why my disposal stopped working. It needed to be reset and Oliver demonstrated how easy it was to reset he didn't charge me at all for this. I highly recommend his services and honesty to anyone that needs these services. If I was was allowed; I would give him more than a 5-star rating. in the future, if I have any projects or work that needs to be done I'm definitely calling Oliver.

I am very happy to have found Oliver. I am a new home owner and my toilet was clogged and had overflowed. It was terrible and we could not get it to flush and now our master bedroom toilet was out of commission. I called our home warranty company and waited several days and then decided that I wanted someone who was knowledgeable, license and bonded. Enter Oliver and Marvin who knew just what to do. Toilet unclogged and working. He explained about the constant running toilet and how it was installed backwards! This he also fixed but did say we will need a new toilet eventually. He was quick and efficient. I felt comfortable to let Oliver and Marvin into my home. I now have a plumber for our new home.

I sent an online quote via Yelp's Request a Quote system to over a dozen different plumbing companies. Oliver of Good 2 Go Plumbing responded within minutes with a flat rate of $200 to help clear the clog in my sewer lateral. I did receive responses from other plumbing companies, but none of them were as low as Oliver's price.

Oliver showed up soon after and was able to complete the work without entering my residence, which is a plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He completed the job quickly and efficiently; it has been a couple weeks and I have not had any issues. Furthermore, he voluntarily did the additional work of trimming tree roots in the sewer lateral, without my asking and without additional costs.

I will definitely keep Oliver in mind if I have any plumbing issues in the future, and I highly recommend him.

Our kitchen faucet had gradually been losing pressure and finally got to the point of just barely giving us enough to wash the soap off our dishes. After trying some unsuccessful fixes myself, I finally caved in and reached out to a handful of plumbers on Sunday afternoon through Yelp, hoping to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. I got three replies pretty quickly: one told me exactly what he'd charge for fixing it without even knowing what the issue was, and another just told me, oh, your pipes are probably clogged. Helpful. The third response was from Oliver asking me to give him a call. He immediately picked up when I did, and told me he could be over first thing the next morning and would take a look, and then let me know what it would cost to fix it before starting any work. The next morning, he arrived promptly, and after about 30 or 40 minutes under the sink, he found the problem: a plastic part that connects our water source to the faucet and filters out sediment. The part was completely clogged, and there was no way to open it up to clean it out. Oliver let me know that I could try to find the part, which isn't a common one but could potentially be found online, or I could replace the faucet with a new one, and he recommended Delta as a quality brand. He patiently showed me how to replace the part on my own if I was able to track down a replacement, and luckily I was. I had the replacement part the next day, did exactly what Oliver showed me, and  now I have the best water pressure I've had since moving into the house!

Oliver didn't charge me a thing for his time, which I immensely appreciate. Though he wasn't able to fix the problem, he accurately identified what it was and gave me options/recommendations to choose from. He never talked down to me, which is something I always appreciate when I hire a professional to fix something I have no knowledge or expertise in.

I was worried that this was going to set me back a few hundred dollars, but thanks to Oliver's help, I was able to fix my problem with just an $8 part. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber and he will be the first person I call when I have an issue that I can actually pay him to fix!

Oliver is terrific! I discovered a gas leak late Friday afternoon. PG&E inspected my house and determined it was severe enough to shut off my gas and instructed me to hire a plumber to perform an air line test that is used to locate the leak. Not knowing any plumbers I went on Yelp and decided to use Good 2 Go Plumbing. Oliver responded immediately and was here the next morning. Not only did he find and fix the leak he also repaired a p trap under the kitchen sink. Oliver is knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Oliver installed my faucet in 2022. He was professional, polite, & his price was reasonable. Recently I had an issue with that faucet & contacted him. He was on vacation & texted then called me. I had a badly leaking kitchen faucet, and he helped immediately by getting on FaceTime with me during my first phone call with him to show me how to turn off the water supply myself. Oliver responded to my requirement quickly, after sending a mass Yelp Help to Plumbers.  Out of all that responded Oliver was more personal and not business like.  For example others were asking things about plumbing ummm hello I don't know plumbing and don't know your plumber language and reason I have contacted because I don't know.  Also they offered to come like the next day.  Oliver on the other hand said he could come the same day after he finish eating his lunch.  Which I think it's personal information and kinda liked it because he didn't have to tell me he was eating.     That just shows me he is personable.  Oliver is very respectable, during the pandemic situation that we are going through he wore a face mask during the time he was in my home.  Oliver did a fantastic job.  Really got me out of a hole, literally!!!! My kitchen sink pipe had a hole in it and it was leaking into the walls.  My drain was also draining slowly, after removal of the pipes Oliver showed me how clogged they were.. eeewww.  Like an artery full of plaque and heart attack waiting to happen. Great service, they were available same day, arrived on time for the appointment, and were able to fix my toilet and sink's seal issues within an hour. Super friendly and helpful in explaining what the issues were in layman's terms. Will use them again for any other plumbing-related issues.

Sent out Yelp request for quotes for a backed up shower and toilet. He responded right away to the early morning message and was here just after 8am as promised. He quickly dealt with our older house and it's lack of a 2-way clean-out pipe for the price quoted.

They did a great job with what we asked for and more! We had them move our gas line to the island where our cooktop would be. They also replaced our water heater to tankless.  They were knowledgeable and efficient.  Would recommend their services.

We were looking for a plumber to unclog our kitchen sink.  We put out a yelp request for plumbers, but we chose Good 2 Go because he responded and was able to come quickly and also gave us a firm, reasonable estimate.  He wasn't the cheapest bid but we liked that he had great reviews and could come right away to fix our problem.  Oliver came right on time and knew immediately how to unclog our sink.  He was very knowledgeable and courteous, had all the up-to-date equipment and gave us good tips on how to prevent our sink clogging in the future.  We definitely recommend using him for all your plumbing needs.

I requested a quote for a slow draining bathroom sink via Yelp and received multiple replies.  I appreciated that Oliver gave me an accurate quote to complete the job after I explained the issue and sent him a video.  Some other plumbing companies give you a cheaper quote to get your business, then try to increase the cost once on site or charge by the hour, which makes it hard to predict to the final cost.  Oliver was also punctual, friendly, responsive, and repaired the issue.  Thank you!  I will be using his services again next time I need a plumber.

I had two plumbing emergencies within weeks of one another and Good To Go Plumbing was there both times to assess the situation within an hour of my frantic call.

The first was on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.  Woke up in the morning and found there was no water coming out of any of the faucets or toilets.  I searched Yelp and luckily found Good to Go Plumbing was open on Sundays.  Oliver (the owner) picked up my call and said he was at another job but could come do an inspection within an hour.  Oliver was true to his word and was onsite within the hour to do an inspection.  It turned out my water pipe had burst.  Since it was the weekend right after Thanksgiving, most of his team was off so he wasn't able to fix the problem the same day but was able to returned with his team the next day to replace a water pipe that had burst.  While he was here he also recommended that we also replace some of galvanized pipes inside the house that his team found while they were replacing the broken water pipe.  

3 weeks later, my toilets wouldn't flush and I noticed water was coming up from the shower drains.  I frantically called Oliver again and he was on site within an hour again to investigate.  He came and snaked all the drains and found roots in the pipes.  Oliver wasn't able to say for sure that it was a broken sewer pipe at first but was able to confirm in deed it was a broken sewer pipe after using a camera to check.  He wasn't able to fix the sewer pipe the same day but was back early the next day to complete the job.  

Both times Oliver and his team work very efficiently and were very professional.  Prior to doing any work, Oliver thorough explained to me what was the problem and how they were going to resolve it.  After the jobs were completed, Oliver provided pictures of the work and walked me through what they had done.  I would definitely recommend Good To Go Plumbing to anyone that has a plumbing issue.

Highly recommended, Oliver is very knowledgeable, friendly, and communicates clearly. I had a clogged drain which he came to help with and ran into issues with a p-trap that wouldn't come loose, but he was able to take care of that. He's easy to talk to and I appreciate the time he took to explain everything he was doing whenever I asked.

The service Oliver and his team provided on our broken water supply line was excellent.   They responded quickly to our call, were out giving an estimate shortly thereafter, the price was reasonable (a welcomed plus was the senior citizen discount) and the work was completed in less than 6 hours, including concrete work and clean up.  They were very professional, from the Covid protocols they followed to completing every aspect of the job as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Our neighbor was so impressed they asked for an estimate on work at their place as well.  Will definitely be the only ones we call in the future.

We've worked with Oliver on a couple different projects and he's such a delightful person.  He's extremely communicative, respectful and tidy.  We think for a plumber that's definitely sAying something.  

For our last issue we had a block in the main line, the toilets were brimming and the bathtub was filled with sewage.  It was also Christmas Eve and there were 30 people at my family's home.  Oliver came out within an hour, and started diagnosing.  His original goal was not to disturb the party and use a clean out (which didn't exist) then he chose to try to clear the line through accessing the air pipes.  Two different snakes and an hour later, we decided we had to pull the toilets to snake.  The Toto toilets are not as easy to remove, but Oliver persisted and after snaking almost 100 feet he was successful.  

Oliver saved Christmas.  A very kind human who gets the job done and does it with a smile and wit.

The tub in our guest bathroom was leaking into our kitchen. We had 2 plumbers come take a look at it before and one of them made a hole in the ceiling and couldn't figure out what was going on and the other told us it was the overflow valve which wasn't the main cause. Good2Go Plumbing came and fixed the issue the same day! They worked with masks on and answered all of our questions along the way.
