These guys were great, they came to fix what I thought was an electrical issue, apparently it was just an operator issue Michael pushed one button and fixed it, and did not even charge me for his time. Beyond grateful as a single mother to have had that help, it really meant a lot to me, on top of the already wonderful same day service.

We discovered some water under our kitchen sink and called Echo to check it out. They answered the phone right away (even though it was after 5pm) and we were able to schedule an appointment the following morning. The technician showed up right on time, was very courteous (wore a mask and took his boots off without us even asking). He quickly discovered the issue and tightened some of the connections to stop the leak. He emphasized the 30 day guarantee in case we experience a similar problem. Overall very good service.

We've had problems with our plumbing over the years and were finally advised to change the pipe or face a possible catastrophe. We engaged Echo Plumbing and from the very first assessment made by Miguel and Juan, we were already impressed by their responsiveness and professionalism. We gave them the job and I have to say they blew it out of the park. The job entailed removing the old pipe (basically cutting through our floor and foundation) and replacing it. The men were absolutely wonderful! They showed up right on time, made sure the work area was protected with more than adequate covering, and completed a potentially 2 day job in one day. what was most impressive is how clean and meticulous they were. They even removed the floor tile carefully so all we have to do is glue it back on when the cement dries. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the company and crew. They will now be my number one go-to guys for any plumbing job. BRAVO ECHO PLUMBING!!!

Great plumbing company! They came out to help me out with a leaking garbage disposal. I had them take a look at a loose toilet and problematic shower knob and were able to solve all 3. The shower knob problem turned into a larger problem that we were anticipating, but they were able to take care of it within a day! Long story short, our house is old and uses 3 knobs in the shower (one for each temperature and the middle one to switch from shower to bath) and I couldn't find a compatible knob for the middle knob that switches shower to bath. They were able to convert the 3 knobs to a single one and install a bath spout that has the switch on top of it to switch between shower and bath. They had to cut out an oval around the 3 previous knobs but were able to cover it with a large silver plate, it looks great! They even had to switch out the piping between the knobs and shower head and had to cut a hole in the wall behind it but they were able to patch it up and texture it. See the pictures (the 3 knobs are a pic from the internet since I didn't take a before picture but my tub was very similar to it). They took care of the garbage disposal and loose toilet quickly. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They wore masks for covid protection throughout the entire project and I was very pleased with their professionalism and commitment to their work. Don't hesitate; if you have any plumbing needs, give these guys a call!

My water heater had a leak and needed to be replaced. I had to turn my water off as the water was leaking into my home. Messaged the company after hours through Yelp at 8pm. Quick to respond and were able to give me an appointment from 8-9 am the next morning. Echo Plumbing receptionist, Maria, pleasantly scheduled a same day assessment of both toilets backing up. . Repairmen Juan and Chris asked me pertinent questions about the problem when they arrived and ran some tests inside and outside the house. They explained their findings, made recommendations for a solution and provided an itemized estimate. I chose to have one very old toilet replaced. Two days later, Chris texted me several toilet model choices available at the store. Later the same day, the guys returned to install the new toilet. The repair itself took about an hour. They removed the old toilet and took it to recycle.
Juan and Chris did everything promised, on time and within the dollar estimate set. The guys were covid compliant, pleasant and easy to work with.

Juan provided an EXCELLENT service to my new home that had some major repair needs. He came out for an easy, cost-free inspection and gave me the quote right there. I was more than happy to commit to his services and so glad I did. He came out with his team a few days later (mind you that plumbers are very hard to find right now) and completed the multiple tasks within 4 hours. I even had him fix one more thing with our shower that we recently found out about and he was more than happy to fix that and we are fully up and running. I could not be happier with Echo Plumbing! I will 100% use them again in the future if we run into any more problems with our recently bought home. The 1 year warranty is just an added bonus. We got our gas like hooked up for our gas dryer, a clean-out installed in our side yard and a toilet leak fixed. Echo Plumbing can do it all, and for a reasonable price! Highly recommended!

They were quick and responsive through the whole process, even recommended me items I should look into for my house for my water filter system as I wasn't sure which one to get. Called at 2PM , promised on-site by 3:30 -4:30. Arrived at3:50. Diagnosed my 2 hrs of failed attempts in clearing blockage of both bathrooms. He hook up and cleared the clog by 4PM. Nice!

Needed immediate repair for a gas leak and Echo Plumbing was immediately responsive and sent over two qualified technicians. They explained the process to uncover the leak and the issues that a homeowner can face. They completed an air pressure test found the leak and repaired and confirmed system was ok. Very satisfied with their explanations of the process and potential costs if the leak is not immediately located but fortunately it was located quickly and the cost was reasonable.

We've got some overflown sewerage line issue (water has overflown from multiple toilets after taking shower) And of course it happened during the holiday weekend, lol!! As soon as we requested a service quote via yelp very late in the evening, we received a reply from the owner Louis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...If anyone needs a pipe repair or plumbing done, this is the place to call. Juan came out within an hour of calling. Assessed the situation with a free estimate. Replaced damaged pipe above ceiling and was fast and efficient. In and out in a half hour. Mind you, it was a HOLIDAY and they didn't charge for that. They charge by the job, NOT the hour. We had a good experience with Chris. Another plumber had come from a different company and struggled to put in a kitchen faucet. We tried three times with that company and they failed to get the kitchen faucet installed properly. We decided to buy a new model in case it was our sink that was the problem or something else. Our second new model didn't work either for reasons I don't need to go into but Chris was able to go ahead and install the first new model just fine, the one the other plumbing company failed at three times. He also noticed some angle stops underneath the sink could be replaced. Didn't give me the hard sell but convinced me we should do that. Gave me a good price and came back out and fixed that.

Manuel & Samuel showed up early in the alloted time slot wearing masks & gloves. When they checked out the the bathroom sink where I wanted my new faucet & drain stopper installed, they looked under the cabinet where the shutoff valves are located & suggested they also be replaced as the old ones showed corrosion & it would probably only be a matter of time 'til they'd need to be replaced. They quoted a very good price to do that as well while they were here so I agreed. The work was completed in a timely manner & left the area clean. They even replaced the flexible water lines for no additional charge. I am pleased with the quality, speed and price of the work done and would not hesitate to use them again.

Our toilet needed to be replaced and it was 1pm on a Friday. I called one company and they would be able to come on Monday but we had family coming I needed someone soone if possible. I called Echo and was told they could have someone out between 3:30-4 that day; Chris and Samuel arrived as promised and were very polite and professional. Echo Plumbing was quick & sent Chris & Juan same-day, both nice and professional. They had a $99 special for snaking a toilet, but let us know once they got here we didn't qualify as we needed an industrial snake that cost quite a bit more.They also said after snaking, they could do under-house inspection for another addt. fee. Our bill was about $500+ at this point.
Chris and Juan were efficient, considerate & didn't leave a mess. The snake didn't work, as the pipes needed repairing. They told us the repairs, which required cutting thru a wall, would be $3,700+, plus the $500 we already owed for the snake/inspection.
We found a different company that finally did the work for WAY LESS THAN HALF of Echo Plumbing's price and said that it was unnecessary to cut through walls. Everything is fixed, but we are still shocked that Echo plumbing was going to charge us an enormous amount of money (plus unnecessarily cut thru a wall!) for what turned out to be 2 hours of work!! Bottom line is their service is good, but their pricing is way over the top.

Me and the wife had our first baby didn't realize you couldn't flush baby wipes well kinda good thing we met Miguel fixed the problem snaked the pipes continued to snake the line the full 500 feet cuz that's what you do when a customer pays thank you !!!!! Ran it by him that I have a bad smell in my bathroom he popped the toilet off fixed the ring showed me the horrible job that was done last time to the correct job Miguel did presto smell gone if I would've known flushing baby wipes would get Miguel over to fix my entire house from sewer smell that I've literally almost hopped off the bridge for I would've done it years ago thank you Miguel thank you Echo plumbing and rooter for training and hiring value I'll never go anywhere else !!

I have no complaints about this business! Juan and his colleague provided the best customer service and will now be our go-to if we ever need plumbing services again!

As most of you may know, COVID caused supply chain issues and delayed shipments. Juan was so flexible and was able to accommodate our busy schedule and worked WITH us to complete our bathroom renovation. When Juan initially opened the package for our toilet it arrived completely shattered, he offered a suggestion on where we could purchase the exact toilet and ACTUALLY ended up helping us SAVE money! He even offered to pick it up the exact same day so our renovation could stay on schedule and be completed. Echo plumbing installed our new Toto toilet and vanity with our upgraded touch less faucet.

Echo plumbing are professionals and did not leave a mess! They offer reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Chris & Luis responded to my house the same day I called. They were professional, responsive and knowledgeable. They examined the old, leaking kitchen plumbing and fixed the issues right away. My elderly moms Water Heater was leaking...

I sent an email/text out to another plumber on yelp who did not do water heaters and I got a call from echo plumbing within 30 minutes. They were able to come out while I could be there.

I had a broken shower handle component that had suddenly snapped off due to a lot of usage over the last 30 years. I messaged Echo Plumbing and Rooter with a picture and they were able to give me a reasonable quote within a few minutes. Although the job wasn't urgent, they were able to dispatch a tech to my home within an hour or so. Miguel, their tech, was courteous and had the replacement parts with him already. As he took out the old parts, he identified a stuck broken cartridge that could have led to a more costly repair. Fortunately, with some elbow grease, he was able to remove the cartridge without having to cut through any pipes or valves. He then replaced the broken parts with the new parts and still able to honor the original quote. I will be using them again for my plumbing issues.

1. Used Yelp request a quote and Luis responded within the hour. Very easy to talk to and we moved over to text messages. He provided good advise and walked me through the job and provided estimation. Got everything scheduled, pretty easy

Chris came out to fix my garbage disposal and toilet. He was right on time and very friendly and professional. He even showed me how to unclog my disposal!!! He fixed the valve and hose on my toilet and was very quick and informative about what he was doing. I'm really glad I found this plumbing service and I would definitely recommend to anyone I know! Miguel Chavez was of great help. i spent an hour to relight heater with out any success. looked for all the manuals to diagnose the problem and it didnt help either.

Our water heater unexpectedly failed so we called Echo. Chris came out a few hours later, did a very through inspection and let us know that we needed a new water heater. He went above and beyond by picking up the water heater we specifically requested and came out early the next morning to install it. The price was very reasonable for the quality and efficiency of the work. If we have any plumbing issues in the future we will immediately call Echo and ask for Chris if he is available!

Luis and Miguel came in to help with a leaky faucet situation in our bathroom which we needed to get sorted out asap. They were super quick to respond to our request, despite being a holiday (Thanksgiving day) and very promptly arrived on the day of. I had an emergency situation where the faucet of my bathroom sink mysteriously started leaking water right as I was heading off to work one Monday morning. I desperately called all of the major plumbing companies and they all replied that the earliest that they could schedule me was on Wednesday, 2 days later. Not good enough! So, I called Echo Plumbing and they came out within 2 hours and repaired the leak. No frills, catchy mottos, nor fancy commercials! Just quality work and workers and that's exactly the way I like it!

We had the best experience with Echo Plumbing. We had to replace a toilet with a badly corroded flange in one bathroom, and a few severely outdated shut-off valves in the condo, lastly a 20 year-old water-heater well past warranty. Luis and the team showed up exactly as we scheduled, and finished everything even ahead of schedule. They all wore masks, were super efficient, and left the place clean like nothing happened except for the brand new water-heater properly installed and eliminating all of our plumbing issues. We even had a small defect on the newly purchased out of the box toilet tank that kept on leaking. Luis figured out the issue and did a quick treatment, saving us from having to exchange the model back where we purchased. Luis was very insightful on future concerns and advised where to save money. We had an emergency sewage line rupture on a Saturday, leaving our apartment tenants without a shower or toilet...this was an emergency. Luis was actually closed on Sunday but after explaining our situation he agreed to drive (40 min outside of his service area) to El Cerrito to help us...on a Sunday! The finished product was great and he guaranteed his work for a year. In addition, he beat Roto-Rooter's estimate by over $4,000?! Luis now has a loyal customer :)

I messaged Luis Saturday night when I discovered a broken water pipe under my house. I shut off the main water line and sent messages to four different companies. Luis from Echo Plumbing and Rooter responded within an hour and said he could come out tomorrow as requested. The other companies did not reply until the next day.
Luis and his brother Miguel arrived on time and were dressed professionally and wore their masks. After looking at the problem, Luis gave me an estimate to repair the broken pipe. He also educated me on the importance of installing a water shut-off valve in case of an emergency. His price was reasonable, especially for a Sunday service.
Luis and Miguel were so efficient, they had my house operating again in less than two hours. The work is also warranted for a year.
Thank you Luis and Miguel for saving my Sunday. I will definitely call you again in the future if I need a plumber.

We had one bath tub stopped up not draining, and the other bathroom shower smelling bad. I found Echo on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I really appreciated that I was able to schedule the appointment with a live person on the phone. Chris came to the house on time and introduced himself. For each bathroom Chris explained what he thought needed to be done and showed us each step of the way what he was doing. He was able to clean out both drains and at our request attempted to install a new shower head which ultimately was defective. He showed us the problem and returned the original shower head suggesting another brand to buy. The work was done swiftly and efficiently and to my great relief cost less than I had expected. I would recommend Echo Plumbing to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Excellent, fast, and honest service! The outdoor hose spigot pipe broke flush to the wall and we had to turn off the water main. Echo Plumbing (Miguel & Carlos) were the only one of three plumbers who agreed to help with same day service, and within a couple hours. They did a thorough job carefully opening the garage wall to access the pipe, made the repair quickly, and put everything back together better than it was originally (for example, the pipe passed through a wall stud that simply had a gap sawed out; they correctly reinforced it with a steel plate). On top of everything, the job cost less than $300 - IMO a bargain for an after-hours emergency repair.

We had trouble with our main sewer drain in the middle of the night and they were quick to respond at 11pm on a holiday weekend. They were flexible and accommodating to our urgent matter and were able to schedule a time earlier than their initial offered slot. They employed every measure to ensure safety with masks and distancing. The work done was completed in a timely manner and as the scope of the work from the initial quote increased, the pricing remained reasonable. Integrity seems to be their MO are backed by the bbb. I've done plumbing work at my house (a long time ago when all piping was galvanized steel) and had no problems. When my Mom's kitchen sink had a hidden water leak I told her I can fix this. Looking at the turn off valve under the sink, the pipe was galvanized. However, on the other side of the wall was copper tubing. Natural I bent the copper tubing.
Thank God for this company, they sent over a plumber named Luis. What a nice man, he looked at the water leaking and said no problem I can fix this. With in a short time the leak was fixed. Luis also showed how plugged
the pipe was with gunk. Having seen that, the bad tasting water made sense.
I used this company one more time at my Mom's house and once at my house.
I highly recommend them. Luis was doing a job around the corner and he stopped by to see if we were doing ok.
How many workers have done that before, zero. He and his company are top of the game.

Had a plumbing problem with our kitchen sink and disposal. The crew came out on the same morning I called which was phenomenal. Excellent service through and through! From the girl who answered the phone to the tech that came out and fixed our leak -- they were great to work with and got the job done quickly and effectively. I called at around 11:20am on a Tuesday and was told someone could come out between 12-2pm. Miguel was very punctual and here by noon, so it was definitely the ideal response time (especially when it comes to plumbing issues). I just looked at their website and saw that they're family-owned and operated too, which is always a plus in my book!

We had one heck of a day the day we requested help from Echo. We were referred to them, and I am extremely happy that they were. Long story short, we ended up stuck with the water to our house cut off. The water valve broke after the dishwasher installer cut it off. Not his fault. However, it was going to be days before we would be able to have someone come out to repair it. They came the same day, gave a fair quote, friendly service, and overall saved the day. I had my sewer lateral replaced yesterday by Echo. Nobody wants to have this done, obviously. But there was no avoiding it. Echo responded to my request very promptly. Juan came out to my home (exactly on time). He did an in depth inspection and estimate for me (didn't charge for the inspection, as a lot of companies do). Here's the part that sealed the deal for me: he looked me in the eye and walked me through every step of the inspection. He answered my questions. He provided me with two options: one to repair the sewer lateral to buy me some more time and one to replace. Within a couple hours of his leaving, he had emailed me the scope of work and the estimate for both of the options. Never once did he ask to speak to a husband or a man of the house (women who own homes, you know how rare this is!). I had several companies come out to do estimates. None of the other companies treated me this way or were this thorough or professional. Juan made the choice easy.

The permits were pulled and processed quickly and he kept me updated on each step. Day of the work he kept me informed. The whole team was efficient, professional, and respectful. He took photos of all the work so he could show me once everything was covered up again. They finished quickly and my front sidewalk and driveway are cleaner than they were before the work.

I hope I don't have to use them again, but if I need services they offer I will absolutely use them.

Was successful and not only finding a solution for the leak but also created a support needed for the drain. Then after a lot of work, persevered and cleared the clog as well.

Our shower drain had a leak for the second time in 5 years. We didn't want to use the same plumber, given that the first repair didn't last.

After reading the great reviews of Echo, I called them. Miguel came the same day and provided an estimate. At first, I thought the price was high, but after checking with a couple other plumbers, it seems it's just gotten more expensive to have work done these days.

I called Miguel again, and he was able to do the work the next day. It would have taken a week with the other plumbers I called. Miguel came on time, worked fast, and kept everything clean, even when removing drywall. He also explained why the last repair likely failed and what he did differently. Hopefully this is the last time I need this repair done.

This is my second review for this company. This was the third time I have contacted them. The first was a clogged toilet when my niece flushed a toothbrush. The second time was a flooded bathroom that ended up not being a true issue. This time my water heater stopped working. I contacted them around 11am and by 1:30 pm they were at my home and by 3:30 pm it was replaced. Juan and his brother were wonderful. The service is quick, honest, and all around highly recommended.

After my plumbing guy retired, I was struggling to find a good one. It is easy to get a hold of them and easy to make appointments. Since my house is old, I started seeing problems here and there. I called them three times since December with different problems. The person answer the phone is very professional and contact us immediately when they can come earlier. It is always on Sunday...normally, I have to leave a message and have to wait at least a couple of days to make an appointment. No problem with them. They pick up the phone, come and fix the problem in the same day with very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

Called to have a busted garbage disposal replaced, he was responsive, extremely knowledgeable and did amazing work. Chris quickly diagnosed the problem, made suggestions (while hearing me out and NOT being pushy) and got the job done!

Echo Pluming and Rooter was great from start to finish. We had a small valve leak on a toilet shut off. We chose Echo from the great reviews here on Yelp. They did not disappoint.... called late in the afternoon, they were here first thing the next morning. Free estimate was reasonable, let me repeat that...a Free Estimate. Chris got right to work and not only fixed our leak but made some suggestions and corrections that would make any future need to shut off water so much easier! I called Luis last night and he came out this morning. Great response. Our laundry room had been wet, but we couldn't tell where the water was coming from. Turns out, the hot water pipe feeding the washer was corroded. Luis turned off the water and will need to come back and do the repairs, once we've had restoration done. I have confidence in Luis, especially as he was referred by a good friend.

They saved our house! The main sewer pipe from our home detached and a toilet in our home erupted like a volcano. Luckily, only water overflowed from it. We scramble to find a plumber, and Echo was recommended by a prior contractor. The Echo team arrived within 90 minutes. They spent the next six hours searching for the issue, which they diagnosed quickly, fixing the broken pipe, scoping the system for any blockages, and resealing the toilet.
