Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company  again. Highly recommend!

They did an excellent job. On time, quick and professional. Would definitely use for future projects.

I was quoted $1,100 to have a sink and faucet replaced after a home visit. Neither the sink nor faucet was unique to have such a high priced amount for installation. Minor pipe cutting was needed as the depth of the new sink was a few inches longer. After speaking to another plumber he was baffled at the price as well. Needless to say I got the job done at a fraction of Pipe Masters cost.

Don't call anybody else. This is the most outstanding company that I have ever dealt with. I needed emergency help to replace my sewer pipe. They came on a Sunday morning and finished the job the same day. A very big job, they came with a big crew and worked and worked and worked. Very polite and very professional. I highly recommend them.

Algozini is just the best!  Today Jason Algozini and Steve removed the damaged bathroom sink, then installed the new basin and faucet.  The basin sits on a pedestal.  They have to be the most honest and pleasant people I have spoken to in the plumbing business.  if in fact any commercial service.  Their work was clean and they were efficient.  They are a neighborhood family business, a rarity in this day and age. I am grateful to the first person who posted Algozini.  You can absolutely trust this referral on Yelp.  Thank you Yelp.

They were open at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. They were here quickly and were efficient in doing the job. They were good people and upfront and clear about the process. They helped me fix a serious issue that would have rendered my bathroom useless. They were good, helpful and out in less than 15 minutes. Would recommend to anyone who needs something quick and efficient.

This is that quintessential good plumber you tell all your friends about. The owner's name is Scott and he is as professional as they come. If he doesn't answer your call directly, he will return your call well within 24 hours if it isn't an emergency and within minutes for emergency calls. I have been using him since 1996 for various plumbing jobs and just this past month I gave him the business of converting our old oil burner to a natural gas one. He personally came for the estimate and even measured our radiators to put the perfect sized boiler in. He and his staff had the entire job done in 2 days. We were out of heat for only hours. I recommend this plumber for all your plumbing needs for people in the Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Montclair and surrounding areas.

These people are absolutly amazing!! I called the office in a bind, needed a bathroom leak fix on the same day. Lori was so helpful calming and got Joe here to fix the problem in 20 minutes! He did a pristine job, saved us from almost not closing on our house! Would highly recommend to anyone, and they were fairly priced! Amazing work team! We are truly more grateful than you know!

Water started pouring out from under our kitchen sink, and I needed a plumber immediately! I have a great plumber that I'd hired years ago for a big renovation, but that person was not available on an emergency basis.

I chose Mike based on the Yelp reviews, thanks Yelpers! Mike answered the phone on the first ring and was fantastic with communication. He gave me his cell phone number so I could text him pictures of the plumbing set up at my home.

Mike's employee, Julian, showed up right at the scheduled time of 8 am and was wearing a mask, which I appreciate. Julian was friendly, polite, organized, and efficient. I felt comfortable having him work at my house.

The price was reasonable and they gave us a 10% discount for paying in cash. I like it when businesses do that.

Julian did a nice job. Have a look at my photos of before and after! We decided to upgrade our bathroom faucet, as well. We are thinking of having a couple more plumbing projects done and we would certainly use these plumbers!

The worst. We had a clogged sewer line so I called what I expected to be a reputable business - Roto-Rooter, but nothing could have been further than the truth.

Called Friday (3/17/23) and they sent someone out immediately. Guy comes in and after doing zero investigative work of any pipes says we are going to need the jet guy to come out. Turns out this guy had limited experience, was not a tech, and had no authority to make that decision - more to come here.

Jet guy shows up by himself at 8pm and works his butt off trying to fix the problem. This guy I have no issue with because he had zero support, and clearly limited experience with no formal training.

$1,800 (yes, you read this right) charge. Next day same problem, so nothing was fixed and I'm out $1,800, so I called again.

Saturday (3/18) morning jet guy shows up first thing and tries to remedy the situation. Then what seems to be a closer called camera guy shows up around 10a and runs the camera through the line.

Camera guy immediate disclaimer: I'm in the excavation end of the business so I don't know (or clearly take any responsibility for) what has happened here. Remember: same company.

Really zero issue with the line except for a root about 16' out that seems to be blocking the line. Camera runs over 100' with very little issue with the exception of this 'root'. Now comes the up-sell.

Well, there is clearly a root issue in your line and I think you need to have the chain service to clear the line. Our iron line is 30' until you hit clay - the clay was completely clear and, but for the root and some accumulated sludge in the iron pipe, the line was clear.

That will be $100 per foot or $3,000 to clear just the iron line, says the camera guy.

WTF? You charged me $1,800 for nothing at this point and now you distance your business (excavation) from the other (jet guy) even though you are the same company? Nice. Quality service. But it gets better...

But what I recommend is to excavate the pipe because it's clearly at issue or put in an outside trap...that will run you anywhere between $12k and 15K. say the camera guy.

Ok, I'm done with these guys. I get the bid for the line (chain) clear, get a copy of the video, and schedule service for Monday (3/20). I immediately reach out to friends and family for professional recommendations and ultimately cancel Roto-Rooter.

Professional recommendation comes in and snakes the line (this is important because IT WAS NEVER DONE BEFORE BY ROTO-ROOTER). Issue at about 16' was confirmed. New group runs a camera and determines that the issue is not a root but rather a the head of a toilet brush stuck in the line blocking solids. This all takes about 30 mins.

So let's recap:

* Roto-Rooter sends un-qualified and un-prepared employee out to determine job characteristics that doesn't do any actual work - NOT EVEN TO SNAKE THE LINE - and calls jet guy

* Jet guy works hard to no avail

* Camera guy screws jet guy by saying different departments and tries to say all is well - trust us - the company will do right by you

* Camera guy gives me crazy $$ bid for work that doesn't need to be done and talks to management to get to the bottom of this and says someone will be reaching out to discuss. TO BE CLEAR: I waited 24 hours to Sunday (3/19) afternoon to see if anyone from Roto-Rooter would call...crickets...and as I'm writing this on Monday (3/20) night, still nothing.

* Camera guy admits that the person sent out was a recovery guy (clean-up only), was not a tech, and had no business making any determination on the problem.

* Further, camera guy's information shows that a tech did show up. I can tell you that this is complete BS and CYA at it's best because nobody else showed up and they know they f-ed up.

New group fixed the issue immediately and we are back in business. But for the hard work of the jet guy I would have given Roto-Rooter no stars. Avoid at all costs.

The plumber from Pelham Plumbing arrived on time, assessed & fixed the problem with our kitchen sink and everything has been great since. I would recommend them to a friend!

They used to be better 10 years ago. Last 3 times I've used them, had to have them back 2-3 times and still have issues not resolved. Not using them any longer.

I had steam filling up in the crawlspace and heard hissing. After shimming 15 feet into a tight and damp space, I realized the pipe was pitted and needed to be replaced. I called Watsons and explained to Tiffany that this job would unpleasant and in a very tight space.

O'Neill and KJ arrived assessed the situation and agreed to a solution. They somehow brought a sawzall into the crawlspace, cut out the section of pipe, measured, and went back to the yard to procure a replacement. When they arrived with all the couplings and materials they got back to work installing brining the big wrenches in to ensure a tight fit.

Both gentlemen were constantly thinking ahead, anticipating problems and working through scenarios.

As an owner of a 100 year old building, I know things can go wrong and this problem was one of the more serious issues I've seen in many years.

Maybe four hours of work, but a massive relief when we put the boiler back on.

Called up and made an appointment (after a 10 minute wait on phone). Assured of the time I left work to get home on time. 10 minutes after they were meant to show, I get a call saying they are having car trouble and can we reschedule for tomorrow. I realize that things happen, but the guy slipped up and said we're really busy today which to me means that they tried to sneak in an extra call (for $300 to snake a sink) and couldn't make it happen. Bad business sense and a huge waste of my afternoon.

This company is working by my apartment building and as they were loading pipes on to there cart they left it unattended and it dented my vehicle.There supervisor was standing there with them they just walked away and pretended like it didn't happen luckily for me another company was working there and told me what happened and now they don't take my calls and refuse to pay for the damages they did to my vehicle.
