Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company again. Highly recommend!

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.
They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

While there is never a good time to have plumbing issues, a holiday weekend is the worse. Found Pipe Masters and Mario in a search and not only had an immediate response, but Mario was here within a few hours. Not only that, but he called twice to let us know he was running a little late. Our issue was more extensive than what he was prepared for, but showed his professionalism by not charging for what he did, but only for what he'd need to do and came back the next morning. Again, running just 15 minutes later, he called to let us know. He totally resolved the issue, did it cleanly, and totally wiped down everything when he was done. If you're looking for a considerate, caring, and professional partner, Mario and Pipe Masters are at your service!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

I can't say enough about this family business.
I needed a curb valve installed and was told to called these guys for the job. I had no idea about permits and cost but John and his crew took care of the entire process. They were able to find the valve that some idiot buried into the sidewalk and put in a new one saving me a fortune!!
I will never call another company when it comes to this kind of work

George is my neighbor so maybe I'm a little biased, but he is a great plumber. He helped me with a sewage problem I was having at my house... He was super friendly and knowledgeable. When I saw the sewage backed up in my basement, I thought the worst. George not only fixed the problem, but showed me how to fix it myself if it ever happens again. Working in the city, and being a tradesman myself, I've worked with/around many plumbers over the years... With that being said, George is the only plumber I'd recommend, period.

We had a late no heat call. Harris had us up and running quickly! I would absolutely recommend! Strato was our tech and seemed very knowledgable and friendly!

They were open at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. They were here quickly and were efficient in doing the job. They were good people and upfront and clear about the process. They helped me fix a serious issue that would have rendered my bathroom useless. They were good, helpful and out in less than 15 minutes. Would recommend to anyone who needs something quick and efficient.

This is that quintessential good plumber you tell all your friends about. The owner's name is Scott and he is as professional as they come. If he doesn't answer your call directly, he will return your call well within 24 hours if it isn't an emergency and within minutes for emergency calls. I have been using him since 1996 for various plumbing jobs and just this past month I gave him the business of converting our old oil burner to a natural gas one. He personally came for the estimate and even measured our radiators to put the perfect sized boiler in. He and his staff had the entire job done in 2 days. We were out of heat for only hours. I recommend this plumber for all your plumbing needs for people in the Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Montclair and surrounding areas.

Branden is the best! Always helpful and patient even when he is super busy, which he always is. Great place. Enjoy doing business with them.

A late Sunday issue with the PTrap was taken care of by Monday morning. Great service, techs were professional and very considerate of our home, explained the issue and replacement was installed in under 30 min!

I ordered a technician to arrive at my tenants apartment on a Saturday between 8am-12pm. The technicians did not arrive until 3pm. The technician who performed most of the work, who acknowledged he was in training, continued to try and turn off the water in the apartment without knowing which levers did what. All the while, he walked around the apartment with a cigar hanging out of his mouth. After he ran to Home Depot to pick up the $30 piece to fix the leaking faucet in the shower, he arrived back at the apartment an hour later and walked into the bathroom (closed the door - not professional) and fixed the leaking faucet. When he went back to the levers to turn the water back on, all hell broke loose. The water tank starting leaking excessively. Enter the technician who was supposed to be overseeing the 'technician in training'. He was sitting in the Roto Rooter truck the entire time. He apprised us that it was sediment that was causing the leakage and that they needed to snake a wire through to get the sediment out (ended up not being the case). He then told us that it was a faulty valve that would need to replaced (but not to worry - he would give us 25% off the replacement). This was also not the problem. After I called our Property Management, an individual familiar with the water tank arrived and said that the levers were not in their proper positions. All that had to be done was switch the levers to their proper positions - case solved.
In short, I was charged $492.79 to have a technician in training arrive three hours late with a cigar in his mouth cause havoc by not knowing what he was doing and charging $82.28 for a $30 piece from Home Depot. What should have been an hour job turned into waiting from 8am until 6pm when they finally left the apartment.
Stay away if possible.

They did an amazing job both times I called them. I was left stranded with some other plumbers and I had no choice but to call them and I wish I had known about them before. I strongly recommend using them because they will work to earn your business which is the whole point of getting someone to do a job for you. The one guy was very good, I think his name was Mario B. Also Bob and Greg were nice too.

It's 10:48 a.m. and I am still waiting for someone to show up for my 8:30 a.m. appt. No one answers at the office. No one returns my voicemail messages. No answering service. This is the second time I scheduled this appt. after they cancelled on me last week. Well, at least they called to cancel before. Now I guess they are just outright ignoring me and disrespecting my time. Never calling them again.

I am a health care worker writing this email in the middle of the COVID crisis -- as you might imagine I am very busy at the moment so if I am taking the time to write a review then I must consider this to be a pretty egregious issue, which as you can see from the email below is indeed the case.
We have lived in the same house in Hamilton Heights since 2008 and we have always used Watson Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs. For example, in Fall 2019, we called Watson to install a new kitchen faucet and to reset two of our toilets and they did a great job. So, we did not hesitate to contact Watson for the relatively straightforward work of (1) replacing the flapper mechanisms in our toilets; and (2) unclogging some drains. We fully realize that this work could have been done by an experienced handyperson, but we had previously had some great experiences with Watson and we did not hesitate to call them to take care of these relatively simple problems .
Boy, were we wrong.... What a disaster. To make a long story short... They sent a clearly very inexperienced person who spent most of his time chatting on his phone rather than replacing the flappers on our toilets. When he could not figure out how to replace the mechanisms in one of our toilets, he tried to talk us into getting a new toilet! Can you imagine - instead of replacing the flapper he told us we needed a new toilet.
When I complained to the compandy, they sent the supervisor as well as some more experienced technicians. However, 8 hours later - and 8 hours that they charged us for - we still do not have functional toilets. In fact, here we are now in a house with 2 college kids back home and 2 other adults and in a house with 4 toilets only 1 which is working. AND we paid $1000 for their incompetent service. I would like to emphasize that BEFORE Watson came NONE of the toilets were running yet now 3 or the 4 toilets run continually after their service -- so now we can use only 1 toilet. We had to shut the other three toilets off because we got a letter from the City indicating that the water flow is excessive - so this is not our imagination the City is also concerned.
We called Watson back twice to try to address the issues yet the problems persist. And of course, we cannot call a real plumber at the moment because we cannot have anyone in the house during the COVID crisis. And by the way, I am not sure what they did to snake the drains, since the same drains are now clogged again - so, clearly, they did not even snake the drains properly.
Having said all of this, I would have chalked it all up to experience and had planned to call a competent plumber when the COVID crisis is over but APPALLINGLY they sent us a bill for the visits that they came back to deal with their incompetence - can you imagine the gall of that - plumbers who after three visits cannot change a toilet flapper competently and then try to charge us for it....Can you imagine...

Called up and made an appointment (after a 10 minute wait on phone). Assured of the time I left work to get home on time. 10 minutes after they were meant to show, I get a call saying they are having car trouble and can we reschedule for tomorrow. I realize that things happen, but the guy slipped up and said we're really busy today which to me means that they tried to sneak in an extra call (for $300 to snake a sink) and couldn't make it happen. Bad business sense and a huge waste of my afternoon.
