Darwin was great - we needed some quick help with a 100 year old home and he was able to come in a few hours, gave us a reasonable price and was a great person to work with. Highly recommend.

We had a minor plumbing emergency a leaking sink trap and called MTR in the late afternoon on a Saturday. They asked if I needed the work that day I said no it could wait. We made an appointment for the following business day, Monday at noon and Mike showed up promptly at noon. Work was done quickly and cleanly. After watching him work I asked him if he could replace a kitchen faucet with one I had bought but never got to install myself. Plumbers do not usually like for you to supply your own materials but he agreed to do it then as he had the time. As it turned out there was a problem but Mike took care of it and resealed the sink while he was at it. I am very satisfied with his work.

Efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Adam and team were able to repair the AC unit quickly and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I looked through Yelp for a good plumber in the neighborhood, and when I saw all these 5 star reviews, I had my doubts, especially when some reviews are from people who only wrote 1 review or are relatively new.  But I went with my gut and took a chance, and it turned out to be better than expected.

First, Justin answers the phone and is responsive.  He is flexible with his schedule, and shows up on time.  He is very knowledgeable about plumbing and quickly diagnosed the problem.  I live in a pre-war co-op, so the plumbing is antiquated and in disrepair.  He provided an estimate before work began, which was very reasonably priced compared with other places (I've had building management bring their outside plumbers to inspect a kitchen leak and it was overpriced).  He worked efficiently and did a lot of work that I had procrastinated on fixing.  If I knew it was this easy, I would have called him sooner.  I've had my super fix the plumbing problems over the years, but the problem always comes back after a few weeks. Gotta leave these things to the pro's--saves money, time and stress in the long run.  Overall, I am very happy to have called the right professional, thanks to Yelp's reviews.

Reasonably priced and do a great job. They have done plumbing work for us for years and put in a water heater. Jim even helped my 92 year old grandfather when he stuck on the side of the road.

I called this plumber to service our furnace for the winter from an internet reference and was glad I did. Not only did the technician routinely service our gas boiler, but found a pet that needed replacement and then thoroughly cleaned the unit. As a resultt, our heating system works like a charm.

Adam is very knowledgeable and responded to all my questions quickly. Quality service from a master plumber at a good price when I had to switch out my water heater. Thanks again!

I called Zatos plumbing for the local law 152 gas inspection. They were quick to respond they did it on the same day and had it filed the following day. Highly recommend them.

Absolute disaster! It took the person 8 hours to cap off the kitchen water lines & add an ice maker water line. Brought wrong size pipes, used worn out tools, didn't put up anything to mitigate dust to other rooms from the sawdust/ Sheetrock powder, etc. Added a new lower drain that didn't need to be done as told by the plumber that had to fix this disaster. Only reason to do what he did was if I needed a garbage disposal which I didn't. Cost me $600 for nothing! Demanded 200 extra dollars over the $2000 that Home Depot charged me. Told Home Depot that the   $200 was for a permit but I called the town & no such permit was taken.

I own an older home and my sewer system broke down on Christmas Eve. Not only did Roto-Rooter come out and diagnose the occurring problem; but set up and scheduled the renovation of my home's new sewer system. Everything went perfectly without any problems. The system replacement is now eight years old and everything is perfect. Great customer service.!

We have been Approved Oil customers for years. Always responsive customer service.

Last night a boiler pipe burst and water was gushing out like a fire hose. Our basement would have been submerged within an hour. We placed an emergency call to Approved Oil, they sent Steve who was here within 15 minutes, on a snowy holiday weekend.

Steve saved our basement, our weekend and our sanity. He improvised to stop the water by using a frozen garden hose and clamp he found serendipitously on a window ledge in the basement.

Not only did he fix the problem, when the plumbing company we called was a no show; he provided us with valuable lessons on boiler maintenance and flood prevention.

Steve was extremely resourceful, knowledgeable and patient. He took time to guide us on what to do to fully resolve issue once he left.

Because of employees such as Steve, I highly recommend Approved Oil company. This is the type of service you want in the middle of this type of emergency.
