I live with a group of students with hectic and irregular schedules, which made it challenging for us to set up an appointment with a few other contractors in the area. I even had another plumber come by only to tell us he couldn't help us until we purchased parts for our broken kitchen faucet.

I reached out to Steve and got a response to my Yelp quote request almost immediately, well within an hour. Steve worked with me over the phone to diagnose the problem with the faucet, figured out which parts were needed, and was very accommodating of our erratic schedules. On the day of, he was prompt, professional, and pleasant -- real salt of the earth. He was up front from the beginning about the costs of parts and labor, which were very reasonable, and he had our faucet fixed in no time. A couple weeks out from the repairs, we continue to be very satisfied with the new faucet.

I feel so fortunate to have found someone so honest and reliable. Our house will be calling Steve for any future plumbing or furnace troubles.

Love them they saved us so much money all others said we needed a new water unit they fixed it! We have been using them ever since!

This company did a terrific job- my kitchen plumbing was leaking in 5 spots - Darwin came out very quickly, was professional, very skilled, fast and clean. What a lifesaver!

I made an appointment and I took the day off work to be home for Mike to fix a leak. He left me waiting all day! He called to say he'd be an hour late but when he didn't show up I called him again and then he said he would take ANOTHER hour to get to me.  I am disappointed I called this company. I wasted a whole day sitting home waiting for him instead of going to work and getting paid.

The team did an amazing job! Very communicative, punctual and knowledgeable. They offered sound advice as to which repair or replacement option to pursue. We ended up replacing both our AC unit and our furnace, and they left our home spotless. They cleaned out the dust in the return ductwork and also added a filter. They covered all pipes so they don't sweat and drip on floor. It also looks like they put a cage around the bottom of the hot water heater, which prevents dust collecting underneath and preventing a fire hazard. Overall, a huge improvement. Very thorough work! We're happy we chose them.

The plumber arrived quickly and was polite and professional. I also thought that the price for the work was reasonable I will definitely use them again in the future.

It would be amazing if every contractor was like JCA Mechanical! First and foremost, communication with Justin was very easy and smooth. Even though it was the weekend, Justin responded promptly and courteously to every yelp message, text and phone call. Justin was patient and well-mannered with me while I shopped around for several quotes for replacing my leaking hot water tank. He was never once pushy, and I felt he respected me as a customer and tried his best to win the contract with integrity. He answered all my questions until I felt comfortable to commit.

Secondly, let's talk quality of work. Justin came in on Sunday morning earlier than stated, which I really appreciated. I'm tired of contractors giving me a call at the appointed time telling me they're running an hour late. Justin was timely, and although he was on his own due to the extremely short notice during the weekend, he finished the job in an hour and half, as he predicted. This man is a machine and really knows what he is doing. My dad likes to oversee contractors when they work on the house, and Justin engaged with him and answered all his questions respectfully and kindly while working his butt off. He's all around a good, sincere guy. Once he finished installing the tank, he insisted that we register the product to make sure we take advantage of the product warranty that we paid extra for. He offers his own labor warranty on top of that, but by the looks of it, I'm pretty sure we won't need to call Justin back. The job was very clean and well done.

Finally, Justin was extremely reasonable when it came to pricing. I was speaking to the five top-rated businesses in the area that install water heaters, and Justin - more than anyone else -actively communicated with me to understand my expectations and was willing to work with me on pricing. When all was said and done, he offered the best deal without any doubt. This is a guy who's genuinely not trying to rip you off, which is so refreshing. I recommend you take the time to chat with him before you commit, and, like me, you'll quickly feel that Justin is honest and reliable. I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the entire ordeal, and will definitely invite JCA back next time I have any sort of plumbing issues.

Burns plumbing put a new furnance and boiler in my building a short time ago,  they did a fantastic job.  Work was done in a timely and super professional manner.  Its a pleasure too work with someone who takes pride in their work.  Pleasure to do business with Burns and Company.

I called this plumber to service our furnace for the winter from an internet reference and was glad I did. Not only did the technician routinely service our gas boiler, but found a pet that needed replacement and then thoroughly cleaned the unit. As a resultt, our heating system works like a charm.

Ok first off they called back quickly and set an appointment for 8am... he showed up 20min late but he did call.. that's the only reason for one star...
Anyhoo I called ajax cause of the good reviews...and i needed a boiler cleaning and tune.. first thing he asks for is a roll of paper towels..ok np.. then he takes a few towels (dry) and pushes all the dust and dirt on the floor...usally boiler cleanup would involve a vacuum.which he didnt have....next he pulls the burner tubes wipe off the dust with another paper that I supplied.. put them back in adjusted the temp and handed me a bill.. for $175
Truth is I was astonished... every other time I've had this done they take the top off the boiler and brush the elements inside.. clean stack to the chiming check bottom of chimney...all being brush and vacuumed...then check the water relief valves etc.... this guy was there for 20mins from start to finish..and did none of that...and when I questioned him about the stuff he was supposed to do he said he never does that...even his helper was grinning ...so let's summarize
1 he used my paper towels
2 no spray of any kind
3 pushed all the dirt and dust on the floor
4 NO VACUUM
5 he dusted the burner tubes
6 no brushing and cleaning the elements
7 no cleaning of the stack...
8 and left all the dirt and dust on the floor
9 only cash or check for this service
10 I GOT SCREWED

I called Zatos plumbing for the local law 152 gas inspection. They were quick to respond they did it on the same day and had it filed the following day. Highly recommend them.

Water heater replacement. Quick response, more reasonable price than other responses, good work, personable.

I had a fast leak in my tub and the tub was clogged the water was coming out at about 4 gallons every 5 minutes. I've heard of Roto Rooter, I've seen the $99 special that was posted online & I also saw that you guys also was offering a $60 coupon. And although one of my neighbors warned against me using Roto-Rooter service because of the high price, I needed a professional service. We scheduled online, waited a couple of hours for confirmation, and nothing. So I called myself and ask them when I can expect the technician because I spent the better part of the day scooping out water from my bathtub into my toilet to avoid a flood. I was called back and told that he would send someone over as soon as he had a technician available. We waited another couple of hours and finally the technician came. He wore a mask but nothing covering his work boots & I just cleaned my carpet from a the fire in my building last Wednesday that caused all this. He barely looked at anything and quoted me a price of $587 to just to snake the drain. I found that price to be exorbent and insultingly high just to remove a clog. I told him that is way too much money. I apologized for wasting his time and invited him out of my apartment. He then immediately offered to do the job for $300. Which was also too high, I again thanked him for his time and he then asked how much I was willing to pay. I told him the going rate in this neighborhood is $49.99 - $149.99 to clear a clogged drain. But since I was desperate I offered $200 if he can complete the job. He then went back downstairs to his truck and came back with an electrical auger one I had used myself to no avail, I thought he'd bring some big professional auger or other drain opening tool
Then proceeded to turn off the cold water from under the sink which started a leak under my sink. I scrambled to remove all my personal items from under the cabinet and please a bucket under that leak So now, I have an added repair to do. After he began, I tried to accommodate him by giving him something to drink since he said he was getting a headache do to the noise coming from the auger. I thought he would leave without finishing the job so I was trying to be pleasant and level headed. Although I was losing my patience by the minute. He sat there for about an hour and a half trying with that little electrical auger to clear the drain and then came out and told us he couldn't do it and started packing up his stuff. I ended up giving this guy a $40 tip just for the effort. Between my buildings handyman and this guy I wasted $80. I then called another company who unfortunately didn't have anybody until today. He sent his guy over who quoted me a solid price of $200 and an extra $100 if he had to open up my pipes which he didn't  he came up with a big industrial size auger and cleared the drain in 20-30 minutes. I still think it was pricey but it was an emergency and I was quoted a solid price without any games or surprises. I am very disappointed by the lack of integrity I was shown by your company. I should have been given a price over the phone or at least an estimate so I know what to expect. And as far as the $99 drain cleaning offer and $60 coupon I found to be all bait and switch gimmicks. Not cool for a company that's supposed to be completely professional, guarantees the job to be done, tries to shake down their customers in time of need, then leaves without completing the job. And creating extra problems to fix in addition to the already existing nightmare. Very disappointed

Tooch the service dispatcher is the best!!! He brings color to that place and works so hard and is so dedicated :) that man is amazing ! Woo hoo!
