Best Plumbing System Inspection in Los Angeles CA

I emailed Z&H at 10:15pm on a Saturday night requesting information for a tankless water heater and Zorro responded back at 10:59pm with the estimate and a short description about the work being done. That's customer service right there emailing clients on a Saturday night!

The thing I like best about these guys is their transparency; they're really good about photographing the problem, so you know exactly what's going on.

They do great work, they're always considerate enough to wear surgical shoe cover booties in your house, they're courteous, and competent-- but their transparency gives you the confidence to make informed decisions and not second guess yourself, wondering if you're being treated honestly.  They're just great!

We had major sewer issues, a job that lasted 12 days. The company sent two plumbers--George and Milton. They were excellent: polite, neat, and unbelievably hard working. This is the first time I've used Ford's. They're the best plumbers Ive had in 34 years as a homeowner in West LA. They do a good job of keeping the customer informed of what's going on.

Great service from start to finish. Making an appointment was fast and easy. The woman I spoke to on the phone was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She was able to give accurate estimates for different possible scenarios/services. The technician, Ruben, arrived within the scheduled window. He was professional and knowledgeable. He took his time to diagnose the problem, checked multiple areas of the house, and fixed the problem I had with a clogged bathroom. I felt he was very honest and gave us great feedback and recommendations. Pricing is also very fair and affordable, compared to other companies I've worked with. John was amazing. We had multiple problems with our plumbing when we moved into our new house. He diagnosed each one, discusses the options to repair with us and our contractor, and fixed what he could on the spot! I will definitely be using this company for all my plumbing needs in the future!

Great service!  Changed our corroded hot and cold laundry valves without any difficulty.  Have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

Our galvanized pipes burst underneath our guesthouse.  Many plumbers would try to jack up costs by saying everything would need to be redone in copper pipes but not Tony. He gave me a very reasonable quote to add a clamp.   There was so much water underneath our house he had to come back days later after the pool of water had dried up a bit.  Without charging any additional costs he had an additional clamp for safekeeping and then spent a considerable amount of time checking all the showers and faucets to ensure everything was running properly. He also taught me how to turn our hot water heater off and on and gave me good advice about how often it should be flushed.

But here's the real kicker that has earned our loyalty for years to come! He voluntarily charged me $125 less than the original quote --- despite the extra work!

No wonder he has nothing but five-star reviews.

On communication: 5/5 stars. This is the first time a contractor consistently picks up their phone, texts, communicates, and confirms in a prompt manner 95% of the time. I appreciate when they do this, it's rare, and in my book this counts as reliable and trustworthy.

On timeliness: 2.5/5 stars. 80% of the time they would show up half an hour to an hour and a half late past the time they mentioned. They gave plenty of reasons of why but for me it's a simple solution~ just learn how to estimate time more accurately and give yourself a thirty minute to an hour buffer. One thing I really don't like is that they would say they were late due to x, y, and z but they'd show up with a Starbucks cup.. ok, again, I don't care if you went to Starbucks, lunch, I encourage breaks and I understand that you're busy and it gets hectic and that there are multiple clients etc.. but don't tell me 2 when you really meant 3:30. The few times they were on time it was refreshingly surprising. Also shocking that one of the main field managers was in the military and would be late, I actually have friends who were on the elite Navy Seals 6 team, the ones who captured bin laden, amongst other incredible veterans and I frequently raising awareness on veteran issues, they are some of the most outstanding prompt timely people I know, so I would maybe not share the whole I was in the military thing unless your timeliness fits the bill, tbh (no detail too small). When I gave them the critique in person they received it nicely, but responded with something like I won't argue with you because that's poor customer service... Ok, yeah what about hey sorry for being late, thank you so much for pointing that out, we'd love to elevate the experience for everyone.. I understand not everyone takes criticism well, but to anyone reading this just know it's not a personal attack when someone goes out of their way to point that out.. in simpler terms, if you had a snot hanging off your face, wouldn't you want someone to tell you (in private / discreetly) so you could fix it? I would a little embarrassed but so thankful to that person for telling me. I digress.

On the workers as professionals with integrity: 3/5 I believe they knew 100% their trade and anything they weren't sure if they contacted their boss. They have integrity and respect for their job and the company. I felt safe, they were incredibly hygienic and always put on shoe protectors even though our shanty tile floor really didn't need that, but I really appreciate those little touches. They disinfected the area before installing our new water heater. Anytime they needed even the tiniest touch to perfect the job they would go out and gather the materials.

Price: 3/5. I believe it's on the pricier side, however I do believe it was fair due to the quality of their service and product. During installation a valve broke, there was a flood some drama, but they fixed all of that on top of installing a new water heater. I love when a company does not try to nickel and dime. As I mentioned above, they truly have integrity and love when it comes to their job and the company. They also gave us a warranty and said they'd come out to fix the pilot on the second or third year. They also taught us how to work the water heater and educated us entirely on how it works.

Installation: 4.5/5 they often times under estimate the amount of time it would take to complete something. I'm not sure if they just like joking around with each other but they said ~ he'll only be here for about 20 more minutes and he ended up being there for 4.5 more hours. I truly don't care how long it takes, but again... Just work on improving time estimate.

Final thoughts: I would recommend them, I felt safe and secure with them. I trust them. I would also keep it 100 and communicate exactly what you'd like and all that stuff, speak up. I felt like they treated me with equal respect to my husband - major huge bonus points cause I can't tell you how many men I've had to chew out and put into place and let them know who is boss. Yeah, I just won't tolerate guys who I contacted and hired to talk down to me and talk up to my husband. Hahahaha that's something I'm comfortable doing, I will bust down if ever there's any kind of special hi boss crap going on to my husband and them treating me like an inferior object.

So glad to have found Michael Levey. Extremely knowledgeable and reliable; prompt and responsive to calls/texts. He went the extra mile in checking various issues in our plumbing and fixed a long-standing problem. I agree with all the excellent reviews - he doesn't try to upsell, explains what he's doing clearly, and wants to get the job done right. We've tried a lot of plumbers and can tell already that he's the best.

I had a plumber who was suppose to install a drain in a bath tub. Took two trips and the drain leaked and tub did not drain. Was told he could not snake the drain, the plumbing needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,000 to $22,000. Would give a quote of cost as the project proceeded.
    I called Olson's to arrange a time for an estimate. He asked to come over right away as they had just finished a job nearby. He and his apprentice fixed the leaking drain, no plumber's putty by first plumber, and snaked the tub drain for ****$225.00**** They were professional and polite. Olson's will be the first plumber I call in the future.

Last thing someone wants to deal with when they're having emergency plumbing issues is a horrible plumber and I can tell you right now that if you call sewer man he is the opposite of that. He will be there quick and he will have your problem fixed quickly and is very helpful and respectful of your home. I 100% percent recommend him and will be saving his business card for future issues.

Thank you Aquaman for fixing the leak in my pool. It was worth the $400 service. I should of ask you to come earlier but I was too afraid to go through an expensive pipes repair.

John is absolutely fantastic! We were lucky to have found him. In fact, we called him on Sunday night on a holiday and he showed up Monday morning! It is an older house in Encino. He did a VERY thorough inspection - a lot more than we expected, for a reasonable price. He is reliable, courteous and sent a report within 24 hours. WE HIGHLY recommend him and will use him again.

They were very honest. The job ended up being simpler than expected. They were honest about it and adjusted their price. I recommend them and will definitely call them again if I need plumbing service.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I'm assistant manager at a store down the street and they came and gave us a free quote, charged us an incredibly fair price, and did the job fast then and there, and even did extra work to prevent future damage. We have had issues with the toilet for months and they fixed it within the hour. Personally and professionally using them again and you should too.
