Best Pipe Repair in Austin TX
Brad B Plumbing Services is great! The knob broke off my kitchen sink's cold water stop valve. It was slowly leaking. Brad came in and replaced the valve. I had him replace the hot water valve as well.
He noticed my faucet was improperly hooked up as well and was very slowly leaking. I thought I had fixed the faucet years before but I was wrong. Brad found a cap to stop the leak (something I was unable to find at hardware stores for the last 3 years).
He also charges half the price of what I was charged by my old plumber to replace two valves.
Hopefully I don't need to call him again, but if I have to, I definitely will!!

Had a stubborn kitchen drain clogged. They were out very fast and did an excellent job getting us back up and running. Their communication was great and Ruben was very professional and made sure everything was working perfectly before wrapping up. Companies need more guys like Ruben.

From the moment I made the phone call to Rooter-Man Austin, to Curtis calling me back, to picking up and replacing my water heater (everything done in less than 4 hours) the service was top notch...
I would literally give them 10 (like I mention previously)... this is the second time I called them and they save my life twice! Im so impressed by the staff and quality... Thank you Curtis for your expertise, knowledge, honesty but mostly for your awesomeness!!!

UPDATE:
I need to respond to each point this company has made:
1. Our owner has reached out to you multiple times to discuss with no return call.
REPLY: Correct, there is nothing to discuss. When you are hired that is when you have an opportunity to discuss, not afterwards. I don't need to talk to anyone now. Nothing left to say.
2. We do not sell certain versions or old models based off of stock. We purchase directly from a local supplier. The model offered is not an older model. I'm afraid there is confusion. What is the new version your referring to?
REPLY: You are incorrect. You offered me the Navien 240A, some plumbers and plumbing supply stores still have that old model. I wanted, and got, the Navien 240A2. This is the new version of the Navien 240A. Call Navien and get schooled if you need help on their products.
3. We would of been happy to break down your estimate, no problem. We do it all the time. Dispatch notified your technician (we have proof) but he was provided your work number and when we called they stated you no longer work there. We apologize typically our technicians call back promptly but this was an unfortunate situation. It was an honest mistake.
REPLY: You are being dishonest and trying to cover yourselves. We communicated by text, email and phone. You were well versed in how to get in touch with me not only by phone, but also text and email. If you dialed a work #, which I find impossible because I have not had a work # since 1998, you could have connected in other ways if you wanted to. I had to call in to you 3 times asking for the breakdown. Why you don't do that right up front is odd at a minimum, and dishonest at most. I shouldn't have to chase you to get the breakdown I asked for. You dropped the ball, dd not get back to me when you had multiple ways to do so, and left me without hot showers or the ability to use my dishwasher, for a long time.
4. Troubleshooting with the manufacturer is the most commonly used method for determining the issue. Had we not determined the unit needed to be replaced, another company would of and they would have charged for their time as well. They would of called the manufacturer too. It is the best practice. It is frustrating that the wait times are extremely long but that is NOT our fault and YES we do charge for our time. We do know what we are doing. Some issues we can solve right away and other times for more complex issue we need to go through the process of troubleshoot
REPLY: the plumber that eventually fixed everything did so immediately, with no need to hold on long hold times with the manufacturer, and also pointed out something else that you missed that needed to be fixed. I did not tell them what the problem was, I just asked them to come and look at the issue cold, to see if they performed any differently than you.
Sometimes we all make mistakes, but for some reason no one wants to admit to their mistakes. They spin, lie or make up stories. You dropped the ball, period. Take the bad review like an adult, and learn from it, and move on. You have lots of good reviews, hopefully you'll alter your methods and do better going forward, and this will just be a lesson learned.

They came at a short notice. Did a great job! Our filter wouldn't fit but they went to Home depot, got the required items and made it work fairly quickly. Even found and fixed another plumbing issue.

I can't recommend Abel to Plumb enough. I asked for a quote & got a response in 10 minutes & scheduled a visit for the next morning. Abel assessed the problem & fixed it within an hour. His rates are very reasonable & he's really cool & easy to work with. Call him!

I can only echo the other reviews. Braulio is fantastic - quick to reply, straightforward/reasonable pricing, and very friendly. It's like having a good friend over that's also an expert plumber. I have contacted and used many other plumbers in Austin, and they can't hold a candle to Braulio. He is head and shoulders above the rest, and the only person I will call (and recommend) for plumbing.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home. He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home. Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath. He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.
In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental. My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.
And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze. We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.
In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work. Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

Jim at Republic has handled several plumbing repairs and installations around my house. I always felt as though I was their most important client, every time he came to my house. Prices were reasonable, work was super.
He even fixed things that were not strictly necessary to the repair in question, but that the plumber before had done incorrectly. He asked me first and explained the consequences of leaving it as it was. I felt like he was doing things the way hewould want them done at his own house. All this and still at a very fair price.

Stan's went above and beyond for me. The service person who showed up was on time and did his work quickly and efficiently. I work from home and he was very respectful of my conference calls that were ongoing. About 30 min after he left I smelled electrical burning and called back the main office. They sent the technician back and he rechecked the whole system, without finding anything. Instead of just leaving.. He arranged for another technician with more experience to come by just to double check. The second guy came within 30 min and also went through and confirmed it wasn't the A/C system. But again instead of just leaving, he stayed and helped me figure out where it was coming from. He even went into the attic to make sure it wasnt up there. We finally found the culprit (lamp gone bad was burning a bulb)!
Thanks to Stan's for having great employees who cared for their customer and saved me an expensive call to an electrician. They'll be my go-to from now on!

After another company did a quick job to fix a leak from a pipe fitting underground near our water supply, we began to experience severe water pressure fluctuations. I called Plumb Doctors because of their good ratings. Master Plumber Josh was very nice, knowledgeable and was able to accurately diagnose our probable difficulty. He returned the next day and did a great job replacing our water pressure regulator and checking out and fixing other smaller problems he found. I would gladly use Plumb Doctors again for any future plumbing problems.

They did two repairs for us. Both times they fixed the issue quickly, provided great customer service, and charged reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

One star for a prompt response and one for showing up when they said they would. But I've never felt so taken advantage of financially. I had a leaky toilet that required ten minutes worth of tweaking, and it cost me over $250. Recommended only for those with very deep pockets.

We discovered a leak after coming back from vacation. I contacted Scott from Spot-On Plumbing after the water mitigation company found the source and he came the same day, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it promptly. He was knowledgable, upfront, and was able to identify other major and minor issues that were the cause of the leak. I'd highly recommend Scott to anyone who needs repairs done efficiently!

We recently opened up a new office and were in need of someone to do some work in the restroom. O&M was able to make it out to our office the same day. They were professional and gave us a reasonable quote really quickly. I'll definitely be using them again for any work we might need.

Geronimo was here on time and replaced my water pressure regulator valve promptly & professionally. This is a critical piece in any home's plumbing system because the pressure coming to the house is much too high. Geronimo got it done the day I called.

We just had Diego here today to install a wall mount doggy door for us. I started asking around for estimates last week and Diego was the most responsive, could come do the job the soonest and had the fairest price. Diego worked meticulously to make sure the job was done right. He even touched up the paint around the dog door when he was done just to make sure it was perfect. I have been looking for a good handyman for a long time and am so happy we found Diego.
I will definitely keep him in my contacts for further jobs!
