Best Emergency Services in Austin TX
Probably the least helpful person I called to help diagnose a leak in my yard. Was extremely short and borderline rude at times. The number of instances where I heard I can't answer that, I can't help you, I don't know was absurd. The only reason this is two stars and not one is because his prices seem decent, $115 an hour. Also like that he has appointments early starting at 8am.

I have a ancient shower faucet that leaked like crazy. After watching several YouTube videos, I attempted - and utterly failed - to disassemble it for repair. Having seen Proven Plumbing's glowing reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor, I called for help and Jacob and Joseph came out the next day.
Jacob is an amazing! While internet plumbers suggested extreme remedies ranging from blow torch to Sawzall, it took him mere seconds to take the stuck on fixture apart with nothing but channel locks. He then meticulously installed the replacement, checked it for leaks, and put sealant around it. I am also grateful to Joseph for helping me locate my buried property owner shutoff valve. I am super happy with my experience and would definitely work with Proven Plumbing again!

Everyone has a plumbing horror story, myself included. Here is a fairy tale story instead...
I called Gilbert just before leaving for vacation because our water heater was no longer heating. He called me back several times to get information so he would be prepared when he came out. The first part did not work, so he had to schedule time to come back. Here is where it gets really good. He knew we were leaving for vacation, so he got with our friend who was watching our house while we were gone. I received a call while on vacation letting me know that my water heater was fixed and that I would be able to have a nice and relaxing shower when I got home. True to his word, the water was nice and warm and was a very welcome gift when we returned home after 2500 miles of driving in one week!
Gilbert is awesome and if you need plumbing work, you will not regret calling him. He puts all others to shame!

Rooter-Man was able to come out quickly to fix a pipe in our kitchen. The plumber arrived within the window provided, was efficient, polite and talked us through his process. Would be happy to use them again!

Local company in pflugerville. I called on a Saturday morning they responded right away and took care of the problem and didn't charge any extra for coming in the weekend like other companies do. The price is reasonable. Excellent customer service. I definitely recommend them for your plumbing service.

Outstanding company and crew - fantastic owners running the company with integrity, honesty and reasonable pricing - hard combination to find these days, but you don't need to look any further. Give them a chance, I know you will be glad you did.

Abel installed a tankless water heater for me and repaired a leak.
He did an excellent job. The whole time, he came off as an honest person trying to go good, helpful work. He's in a class of few contractors.
The leak he repaired was something that started unexpectedly and when I text him, he dropped what he was doing and said he was on the way.
Thanks Abel!

I sent a request for a quick plumbing job via yelp, Braulio responded quickly with a great quote after I sent some pictures... where most others gave the standard $70 visit fee just to get a quote. The next morning I texted him and he happened to be in the same neighborhood. He was in and out of my place in 30 mins and job completed. If only everything in life went this smoothly! 5 stars

I would call a different plumber if I were you! At first he seemed very reasonable and nice. He told me he would only charge me for his time and not mark up the equipment he had to purchase in order to fix my water heater. Near the end of the job he stated how much he spent on the equipment, which was substantially higher than what he quoted me so I asked for him to provide me the receipt. He then got very angry and told me he would try and get it for me. Shortly after our conversation he emailed me the receipt from Winsupply and something seemed off. I then called Winsupply and asked them to send me the receipt with the same purchase order. The receipts were the same except for the amount of the pump being substantially less than the receipt he provided me. It's not my place to say if he doctored the receipt from Winsupply but obviously something doesn't add up (please reach out to me if you would like to see the photos). After the job was done, I confronted him to try and understand the misunderstanding and he got furious and threaten to call the sheriff and post a lien on the property if I didn't pay. To make matters worse, after we agreed on an amount owed I signed the invoice and told him I would have a check sent to the address listed on his invoice before the end of the day. He refused and told me I had to pay with CC right now, which I refused. I will be sending him a check in the mail considering he finished the job and worked around my schedule (reason for two stars).

Price to install a $40-70 water heater expansion tank, $451. Price to install a $30-50 water heater drip pan, $406. Neither involves much more work than turning a bolt. Maybe this is par for the course in Austin, but either way it's a screw job. I'd strongly advise driving by Home Depot and furnishing these items yourself. The installation work itself was fine.

I was very satisfied with the service that Bernie of Stan's provided me. Two companies told me my job was too small for them at this time of year. There are AC units to be installed for thousands of dollars, and my busted sternum did not warrant their business. My entire garage and attic were being cooled - not my house, and it was not a small issue for us. Kathy at Stan's got me scheduled and Bernie came all the way up from South Austin in the late afternoon just to fit me in, as he realized we were getting hot. He got here and fixed my sternum quickly. The house immediately cooled down, and the sternum looks great. Bernie kept the price he quoted me months ago, even though it was cheaper than it should have been, because it was part of a bigger project quote at the time. I was really impressed Bernie and Stan's. I hope Stan gives him a gold star.

Contacted Olvin through yelp to get a quote. Same day he was out to see the site to give a quote. Had the quote the next day.
He did the job while being responsive and mindful of being in someone else's home. I very much recommend. His work is top notch.

Monster good service from the two techs who responded to my call. Although the wait for service was several days, I figured that was indicative of a good service company. Someone who can respond quickly usually means that they aren't that good and has time on their hands. I can't recall the technician's names, I'm not so good with names, but excellent service I will always remember. Once onsite, they took less than 30 minutes to completely replace a 50 gallon HWH! The online estimate was provided with a $200 buffer. The bill came in at less than the median bid price. Meaning, they could have bumped the bill right up to the maximum of range, but rather, the final price was much closer to the lower end of the estimate range. That makes one believe that Austin Plumbing is a legit operation, deserving of my business now and in the future. I will highly recommend Austin Plumbing to me friends and family.

Had an emergency plumbing issue over the weekend with two toilets backing up & overflow into shower. Quick Response, excellent service, & reasonable price I'd recommend this company & use again!

They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!

I really appreciate the work that Raymond did to quickly unclog a complicated bathroom sink drain. Ray came out to my home the same day, was very courteous, professional and a real pleasure to work with. He was thorough and resolved my issue! I especially appreciated how he explained step by step what my problem was. Great Job Ray - thank you!!
