Best Drain Installation in Austin TX

I cracked the tank in my older toilet and needed a brand new one. Brad went above and beyond. He picked up the toilet I purchased in Home Depot and came by and installed it super quickly and efficiently. Great service!

I want to have someone to check my PRV (pressure regulator valve) to see if it needs to fix and get a quote for the cost.

And I decided to do the replacement and they scheduled 2 days later for the work.

Job was nicely done and quick. My irrigation sprinklers are all able to pop up after the replacement!

I have been in touch with Gil at Blue Dragon a few times in the past couple of years for some plumbing issues. Previously, he has been booked and referred me to plumbers who have got the jobs done, but I recently got to work with Gil and learn why he has the reviews and ratings he does. He is one of the best. I had an issue with my disposal following disposing of a homemade mac'n'cheese rejected by toddlers. Thought I needed a whole new disposal. Gil was available, quickly came by and fixed the issue, and educated me on the easy fix that I was unaware of. Wouldn't take a trip fee. Just volunteered his knowledge and expertise, solved my issue, and left. He is a man of integrity and I am grateful for his expertise and passion for his work. ABSOLUTELY USE HIM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Curtis was awesome! Called Rooter-Man on a Saturday to come out and fix 2 leaking sinks and stabilize a toilet -it wasn't an emergency but I was happy that David picked up the phone on the weekend.  

Curtis communicated to me what was wrong with the sinks, and let me know how he would stabilize the toilet before doing the work. He worked quickly and was reasonable with final price. When he sent the invoice, he included pictures of the repairs which was great to have for records.

He also helped me figure out what to do for a leak causing high water bill, checking the meter to see what might be the cause which he said was from the sprinkler system and not in the house, and since he does not repair sprinkler systems, he advised me to call a leak detection service.

I like that he knew his limits and he did a great job doing what he did. Highly recommend!

These guys made it a no brainer. They were lower in cost than any of the other 11 bids I received for the pressure reducing valve and right in line with the others for my sewer line clean out repair. I figured they'd probably have a poor rating or be brand new, but to my surprise they've been in business for almost a decade and had the best reviews out of the 12 companies I looked at.

They were quick to communicate via text responses. They were able to give me a bid that on the high end would be $200 more at most via phone by sending them pictures. When I was invoiced it was only $25 more than their lowest price. They were fast with the repair. Nathan and Nick were here around 8:15 in the morning and gone before 10:30.

They came at a short notice. Did a great job! Our filter wouldn't fit but they went to Home depot, got the required items and made it work fairly quickly. Even found and fixed another plumbing issue.

These guys are amazing!  I called in the morning with propane leak, they arrived, on time that afternoon.  The technician was professional, polite and very knowledgeable.  The leak was found, my propane was turned back on to my house.   Highly recommend A & T Plumbing!   The propane gas company there when A & T arrived, he was so impressed that he asked for their contact information so he could recommend them too!

Reached out in March 2022 and Abel appeared to not be available for services - so heads up for others looking for a plumber around this time. He was responsive at first, asking for pictures of the the problem. Once I texted him the pics I never heard from him again.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

I found Jim on yelp after 6 other plumbers were unavailable on a Saturday.  He was at the house in less than 2 hours and got the drain problem solved.  He is also noticed a crack in the drain piping and is coming back to get that fixed.  Reasonable rates and good work, will use again.

This one star review is for pricing, pure and simple.

Two years ago, Stan's installed a new system in our home.  There were several severe issues with that install, but that is for another review.

Today they were called to blow out a drain.  The overflow drain was active and this was a matter of simply going to the main drain line and shooting compressed air down it and checking the function.  The work was done satisfactorily.  The price was not.

$225.  Two hundred twenty five dollars for a 20 minute service call to blow out a drain.  When I've done this in the past, it's never been over $120-$140 with other companies.  

I originally wrote this review two weeks ago and was immediately contacted by Stan's.  I was told I would get a follow up phone call with a full explanation.  That never happened, so here we are again.

We have used Stan's for the last time and I am looking for another Carrier dealer.

We needed a replacement for our leaking water heater. Joe came by the same day and installed one, gathering parts from two or three locations to get the job done on a Saturday. Friendly, informative and helpful at all times. Just what we needed.

Was at my house inspecting my water heater within an hour of when I called to see if i could get someone out.  We both agreed it was due to be replaced due to age of unit & cost of repair to just try and eek a few more months out of it.  Jeff ran to get a new unit from his shop & started installing it while i ran back to work.  Jeff did a great job installing the unit and gave me a more than fair price.  He even pointed me to a rebate I might be eligible for to reduce my out of pocket cost.  Very pleased with service & friendliness from Thunderbird, definitely calling them the next time we have any sort of plumbing issue.

Great service from Mark.  I've hired him a few times for various plumbing jobs.  He does good quality work and has been quite generous with his time.  He has a good manner and is good at explaining the issues, and he has really gone the extra mile for us.  I highly recommend Pure Plumbing.

Scott was great! So helpful, friendly, and fast. Our bathtub hadn't been draining properly for months he fixed it quickly! He cleaned the bathtub, explained future maintenance suggestions, and was extremely polite!

I have used CJ with Austin Plumbing twice last year and he was fantastic.   Prompt, efficient and courteous.   I had a pipe break after the freeze in the garage ceiling on Friday morning.   By 3:00 that afternoon, they had fixed the pipes and turned the water back on.  Prices are fair and work is wonderful.   I have 2 rental properties in the Austin area and will only use this company for all plumbing needs.  I highly recommend Austin Plumbing.

Excellent response time, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his thought process. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and professionally he addressed issue (was on location within 24 hours of request, and repair was completed immediately).

I needed a p-trap and studor vent installed (older house that did not have a p-trap on washing machine drain). My main concern was there was a leaking running trap. Multiple other larger companies said they could do job, just to waste my time by scheduling a 4-6 hour window, waiting until end of window, and either coming out and telling me they wouldn't install a studor vent or just calling and telling me they couldn't do it (after I sent very specific diagrams and instructions of what I needed and their dispatch told me that they did indeed provide those services). Had one even tell me it would cost $12,850 to remove the running trap and install p-trap, excluding all repair work. When I told that company's plumber that called me that I was not certain I did have a running trap, he told me it would be $499 just to run camera to check. This was at 6:40pm when I was given a 2pm-6pm window, so he obviously just did not want to work. Geronimo responded and repaired by 6pm the next day - only charged a nominal fee to run the camera, confirming that I did NOT have a running trap, and I had zero question or issue with the labor and material charges he quoted, especially considering all the work was done after 5pm, and all charges were exactly as quoted.

Have his number saved for all future plumbing issues, highly recommend. It is very hard to come by an honest, responsive, and reasonably priced plumber - this is one of those diamonds in the rough, and it is also great to support a small local business.
