Best A/C Installation in Austin TX
Great service.
Brad was on time and patient after I locked myself out of my home.
He quickly repaired my shower/tub problem and was nice to my nosy cats.
I'll use him for my next plumbing repairs.

These are the best plumbers in town without a doubt. Fair, honest, and capable. I never get up sold.

Highly recommend Gilbert and his company. Honest hard working man. Great service. I even recommend him to my own customers that my handyman company service. Wonderful company.

I know nothing about plumbing and am very cautious/paranoid about being taken advantage of. My first impression of Eddie was confident and likable but I was still cautious. My caution increased when my problem became more involved. My lower shower pressure was not due a bad cartridge (the easier fix) but more likely involved a bad shower value. Adding more complication was that this couldn't be repaired from the back side due to interfering duct work. My tile had to be cut in the shower. I was warned about possible damage that might require someone skilled in tilt repair. My caution grew. Called another 4.5 star company with a quote for the same job that was $450 more. In addition I didn't have the same level of confidence in the technician.
Eddie came out the following day and did the repair. No issues with tile cut and all is well. If I have another issue again and will be calling Rooter- man and will probably ask for Eddie

They did a great job fixing my bathtub! The faucet wouldn't turn off and needed to be repaired and they were able to come out the next day to fix it. They were really quick and charged a very reasonable price, which I was shocked about as usually plumbers wildly overcharge.

Dishonest and incapable. Couldn't give us a straight answer or estimate. Asked personal questions and parked in the driveway. What a difference finding a good plumber makes. Keep looking, it will be worth it.

Today I needed a new faucet replacement with sprayer and soap despenser. I was given great service once again. They were running behind and was nice enough to call me to inform me. A&T had to shut off the main line and I showed where it was located. Very gifted plumbers and was glad they arrived since my faucet broke a valve sprayer also no longer worked. The Faucet Direct company sent me an entire new faucet set. They are very reasonable on prices you may consider calling these nice kind guys for your service needs. I trust them completely. One of the plumbers was a Journeyman and is taking his test to go to the next level. Very impressed how these guys get fantastic reviews. I feel can trust and depend on these personable guys to come and work on any plumbing problem. They took a reasonable amount of time to install my new faucet and looks amazing. One pro is the spray would get caught on a valve under the sink by pulling it up and they fixed that problem as well. Very professional honest and beat prices anywhere. If you don't call you will wish you had these plumbers are always there for you when you need them. You have to understand I called several plumbers and they range in price from 90 to 800 to install a faucet. The cheapest was 90 but there was a catch and sounded to good to be true and it was! But overall the charge was so reasonable I will call again. Happy Yelping!

I managed to break the water line in my house just inside the wall, Abel called me back immediately to discuss the job and gave me a fair estimate over the phone. He showed up on time with Alex, and they were able to do the job and even went above and beyond repairing my wall and making sure it looked like new even though I didn't really expect it to. You can't go wrong calling Abel, he's fair, quick, and super nice. I will be using him for all of my plumbing needs at all of my rental homes going forward.

5 stars from me. Responsive/communicative, quick, issue resolved (leaky garbage disposal), reasonably priced.
I sent a message via yelp first and was given the flat fee upfront for the service which I appreciated. Braulio then got in touch and came over within the hour. He took at look at my old disposal, told me the expected cost of the same unit and went out and grabbed it. He came back, finished the job and left me with my disposal good as new, now I no longer need a bucket under my sink. I will definitely call back if I have issues with anything else in the future.

Garbage disposal stopped working and sink was backed up over the Labor Day weekend. I couldn't cook or run the dishwasher. Called, left a VM on Sunday and Jaime texted me back within 30 minutes. He said he could drop by the next day at 10:30-11:00. Mind you, that was the Labor Day Monday! He showed up on time and got to work replacing the broken disposal with another one I had bought from one of the big box stores. Unplanned but he was also able to fix an old toilet at the same visit. All for a reasonable price.
Very grateful for his responsiveness and professionalism. I've found my go to plumber now and I know my old house will have something for him come back for another visit...hopefully not soon.

Jim knows his stuff. A long-term master plumber with a quick understanding of your trouble, he will relentlessly bang out a job and make sure it's right. He might seem gruff, but don't let him fool you. Next time someone asks, Hey, do you know a good plumber?, you'll say, Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.

Stan's appears to be either too big for its britches, or not as customer friendly as they would like you to think. Took me 8+ hrs to get a tech out here to investigate a broken system. When the tech arrived, his first diagnose was a broken circuit breaker - really? After determining I had a broken compressor, I was then told that I would be able to get a replacement from them for 9-10 days. Really, in the middle of summer in Texas? Also, there prices seem to be on the high-side - and they don't lay out all the options as others did. I ended up going with another company, and am glad I did. They showed up with 1 hr of me calling them, CORRECTLY diagnosed the situation, and had my system installed within 24 hrs. Now THATs customer service!

We first used Plumb Doctors (then called Plumb Masters) two years ago when the toilet started backing up at our previous house. Joe came out, did a thorough assessment, and found we had root intrusion from a nearby live oak. Joe turned what was looking like a $50K+ problem (tunneling under the slab foundation) into $2K through a creative (and code-compliant) solution. Joe's honesty, professionalism, and skill made him our go-to plumber.
When we were looking to buy a new house last year, we had Joe come out to do a thorough inspection. He found that the main sewer line had settled and no longer ran at the right slope, causing sections to be completely flooded. He provided a reasonable quote as well as a video of the issue that we provided to the sellers who agreed to split the cost.
We had the work completed last month, and it was completely seamless. Joe and his team came early and stayed late to ensure we weren't without water for any more time than was needed. They were always in close contact so we knew the status of each stage of work as well as the inspection. Andrew also got involved along the way who is also fantastic.
Finally, we had Joe and Andrew (of course) replace our water heater a few weeks ago which was also a great experience. They provided a quote in range of other similar shops and had the installation down to a science. In and out.
We hope we're at the end of our plumbing needs for a while, but if anything comes up, we know we're in good hands!

Thunderbird Plumbing stands out as an exceptional service and customer oriented company. Thunderbird was one of three plumbing companies recommended by my fantastic realtor and I sought estimates from another five via Yelp.
I needed replacement of the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) for low water pressure, a hydrostatic leak test of the drain lines, and a basic leak test of the freshwater lines.
Jeff, the owner of Thunderbird, responded same day and was able to provide a detailed estimate the following day (a day sooner than anticipated). We were communicating via Email and his responses to my many questions were timely, detailed and very easy to understand. Thunderbird's estimate was on company work order/invoice letterhead: the only company to do so. And yes, the completed work came in right on the estimate! No surprises!
Of the five companies via Yelp, I received replies ranging from no reply, to asking me why I needed an estimate, to a required $89 service call just for an estimate, to a range of estimate prices. Of these, some were detailed estimates, others were not. Anyway folks, I did my homework!
After scheduling with Thunderbird for the following Monday, I had to move the work back a week. Jeff was able to accommodate the change- no problem! This was a huge relief, considering how busy the skilled trades are in Austin right now (the housing boom).
The PRV replacement involved digging in the front yard and Jeff was amazingly tidy: putting plastic down first, cutting the sod layer separately, and putting all sod and dirt on the plastic. When the PRV was fixed, you could hardly see where any digging was done at all!. The hydrostatic test involved removing one toilet and when the test was done, he put the toilet back with a new wax ring, new retainer bolts, and new caulk! This was great! Jeff provided pictures, for my records, of the water pressure test readings and various phases of all the work.
This was a new home purchase for me, though I've lived in Austin a little over 30 years. I can easily say Thunderbird Plumbing, and the owner Jeff Plunkett, was the best experience I've had with a plumbing contractor! I will use Thunderbird for any and all of my future plumbing needs, guaranteed!

I had a leak in my water main and called mark at 8am. He came by at noon and the problem was solved by 1:30. Great service, very fast response, and Mark is a nice guy too. I will be using him again and will recommend him to neighbors.

Had Olvin come by to redo my backsplash after another company came and did a horrendous job on it a week earlier. He completely gutted the other companies work and installed new drywall. He made sure to put drop cloths everywhere, and cleaned up at the end of every day, putting everything back where it was each night so that I could use the kitchen in the evenings. He was always on time, and clearly took pride in his work. He made sure every tile was perfect, and replaced any that I found with defects. Even thoughtful enough to tile all the way up behind the microwave so that if I got a new one it wouldn't have to matter how tall it was.
Absolute A+ work. Can't recommend him enough, and excited to have him redo my bathrooms!

We've had hot water leaks in the past and I was afraid we had another one since we didn't have much hot water. Spot-On sent people out the same day as my inquiry. Turns out we needed a new hot water heater, which they came back and installed the next day. Fast, reliable and seemed cost effective too

I called Austin Plumbing for some broken pipes from the ice/snow storm. They made it out the next day. They were able to repair everything and get us up and running. Super nice.

Geronimo really helped us out when we had a leak in our water main. He was able to come fix our broken pipe the same day and charged a very fair price. Will definitely be keeping his info for any future plumbing needs. Thanks!
