Best Gas Furnace Repair in Irvine CA

I'm looking at a couple of these one star reviews and i cannot believe this is the same company..

Starting with booking the appointment. The representative was great. She was thorough and patient. Took a little while to get an appointment - about a week but they had a cancellation and got us in a day early!

Our representative Steven was great! I loved that service champions called us prior to him coming and they sent an email with his picture to ensure we were letting the right guy into our home.

Our air conditioner / heater issue : the fan would make a sound but it wouldn't get hot or cold when turned on.

Steven took a part our unit, cleaned it, seemed to fix the issue - he stayed 30+ minutes turning it on and off to make sure it worked, set us up with a service plan, and he cleaned up after himself. He wore booties in our house the whole time. He was very professional and helpful explaining the issue in layman's terms.

About a week goes by. Same issue. We call in. Same day steven comes back! He seemed to fix the issue again. Explained to us what he thought the issue was. Called his manager while at our location and said we were absolute high priority if this happens again.

Problem solved! We haven't had an issue with our unit since!

He did not try to force a new system on us, he did not try to make us buy parts or plans. He was great and I'm very impressed with him and this company!

Paul of Crandall's came out today to troubleshoot my Dornbracht thermostatic valve and volume control.  He was able to fix the valve that another plumber was not able to fix.  I definitely will be using Crandall's for all my plumbing needs.

We called Complete Comfort & Maintenance based on the positive Yelp reviews and boy are we glad we did!  Jeff and Steve installed our brand new Carrier AC unit and did a very clean installation.  The quality of their workmanship is outstanding!  We highly recommend them!

Have used this company for over 10 years. Will not be using them again.
Called over a month ago for an estimate, still waiting for a call back. Called again this morning, supposed to receive a call back.  Called back 3 times for an estimate, was told they could not hear me and they could not give an estimate of the cost for my repair.
Also tried to email them and the email kept coming back as undelivered. Not very friendly. No customer service.

Working with this great company has been wonderful, John the owner has great customer service best in business and he really cares about his work...also work is great..I would highly recommend him

Had these guys out for an estimate. I wanted to move my AC unit because I wanted to add a laundry room upstairs when we are doing our remodel. The guys checked out everything, they asked really good questions, and I was prepared to spend $10k to make this adjustment in our house. They gave me a better idea, and cut that down by probably 90%. I felt these guys earned a 5 star review for their integrity, and willingness to be honest. Now I can spend that extra money on a much needed vacation after we are finished.

Hired Stephens to help with my kitchen sink that got backed up recently. Called for service on a sunday which I was informed they charge double for weekends, so I declined. But they were able to come out next day instead for regular charge.

Monday: Receptionist called me back at 8am to confirm the request. The technician Victor was friendly and was able to snake out the drain pretty quickly. Luckily there wasn't any other problems like having to replace my disposal unit.

I left 4/5 because the time slot given was 9-12. Receptionist called to say it would now be 12:30, yet it became more realistically around 2:30. Overall, I would hire/refer them again based on this 1st experience.

B&C was contracted to diagnose a furnace not working. Fan was not coming on. They responded with a tech next day. Initially said the motor capacitor was old and not meeting specs and should be replaced. It would be a low expense repair, after chasing down the part. Then they discovered that the control board was probably bad. Tech stated that his supervisor informed him the unit's manufacture was out of business, and no parts were available. Tech stated that he was gathering info for complete replacement of HVAC system, and would have quote same day and could begin the work immediately.
While he was crunching numbers for his $ 9K quote, I looked the control board part number up online and found it available locally in stock. B&C stated that the internet does not normally prove to be accurate, when it comes to parts and there availability. Informed B&C that I would be seeking a second opinion. Never did hear from them again.
Contacted SoCal Airflow Pros, Aubrey was dispatched next day, and diagnosed the control board did in fact have burn spot on the circuit board.
He inquired to local parts supplier of availability, and returned in 30 mins with new control board, installed and tested thoroughly. The furnace is now working just like new.
2 hours labor and control board part were 96% less than B&C diagnosis of full replacement of HVAC system guess.
In summary, I sought a repair company, found a Full Replacement firm pretending to be a service company, did basic research myself, and then found a true service company in SoCal Airflow. Both companies probably met industry and company profit margin expectations in different methods. One offered sales, and the other service.
Will be writing review of SoCal Airflow next. It will be 96% better than this one, with different result - Satisfied client!

Yesterday, my air conditioning shut down and became unusable.  Using Yelp as a guide, at 7:00 a.m. this morning, I made a couple of calls and was able to connect with Alex, who said that would be able to visit my home this morning and look at the problem.  He came promptly, diagnosed my issues, which included a shorted capacitor and a shortage of freon.  He resolved both issues efficiently and expertly.  He is very professional and pleasant.  For no charge, Alex fixed a plumbing leak in my courtyard.   I recommend Alex highly for any air conditioning or plumbing issues.

So eager to grab all the business from yelp without reading the post to see what I am asking for. So many back and forth messages only for me to call and be told they can't remove a packaged unit from the roof if they didn't install it. Sorry for wanting to put in energy efficient mini split heat pumps that are much more responsive to the needs of the household and the environment and can be located appropriately for ease of access and service away from the direct sunlight heating the machine up and reducing its efficiency.

Honest. Competent. Friendly. Won't use anyone else! Alan, thank you for restoring our trust and appreciation for the industry. You did your company proud today. We will ALWAYS request and refer Santa Margarita Plumbing and Air and specifically YOU by name. God bless.

We've had an emergency plumbing issue for about a week now and made the mistake of calling the first plumber in Corona that showed up on Google. (I won't name them, but how they received any positive reviews is beyond me.) Yesterday, we searched Google again and found Henley's Plumbing & Air. Talk about night and day. These guys were awesome! First of all, the young lady (Elizabeth) who answered the phone was extremely pleasant. She was patient as I explained our situation, she listened to me vent, and she was most compassionate and understanding. She advised us that she could send out a repairman (Cristian) to assess our damage. (We live in a mobile home and there is a major leak under the crawl space.) Cristian was initially scheduled to come out later in the day, which was fine. Instead, Elizabeth (God love her) called to say he could come out right then and there. We were thrilled. Cristian was awesome. Friendly, personable, and highly knowledgeable. (Just an overall great guy.) He suggested it might be in our best interest if he had another repairman (Chris) also come out to take a look at the flood under our home. Chris was out in no time whatsoever, and he, too, was just one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. Chris was forthright re: the cost of the repairs necessary, and he did not try to sugarcoat the situation. He was very informative, definitely knew what he was talking about, and just laid it on the line. (We appreciated that.) The estimate(s)--which were more than reasonable--were just more than we could afford at the time, and Chris went the extra mile to apply any/all discounts he could. (A senior discount, a AAA discount, etc. This man was more than professional--he was genuienly kind.) We're still in the process of working with Henley's, but I had to leave a Yelp & Google review to tell everyone within the sound of my voice, Henley's is the absolute best plumbing & air business you will find in all of Corona! I would (and will) recommend them to all family, friends, and social network contacts I know. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Thank you Elizabeth, Cristian, and Chris--and God bless you. P.S. At one point, Chris was on the phone with a gentleman named Gary. He was on speaker and could hear everything that was going on. I promised I would mention Gary in my reviews because he, too, was very nice. Thank you, Gary!

John + his team were great from start to finish. Our AC broke the week before the 4th- he came out same day to give us an estimate and assessment. They knew we had guests coming in to town so moved things around to help us get started the very next day. They finished within 2 days and it was PERFECT.
They replaced our ac blower/furnace, rerouted our ducts, moved our whole unit (including coolant and electric) to the side of our house from the back AND replaced it with a slim line.
Their guys were timely, thorough and left the house really clean.
Their prices were better than anyone else we quoted with.

Jesse & team were professional, timely & helpful. I will call them for my next job and recommend them to anyone in need of pro plumbing services.
