Service Champions came to our house and told me we had asbestos in our air ducks which was false. The air ducts had already been replaced and the asbestos was on the outside of the boot which didn't even enter the new tubing. I discovered this after we had already signed an $8000 contract for new tubing. They never even replaced the boots until I insisted it was included in my quote. Then when they replace the boots they just left my old boots sitting in my attic. Very unprofessional of them to do all this. Crooks!

I've used Orange Coast Plumbing for several years for my home and office.  They show up on time, work hard, and do good, clean work at a reasonable price.  Recently, I contacted them about a pinhole leak in an outdoor copper water pipe that they installed about a year ago.  They repaired it the next day, no charge.  Their technicians are friendly and competent.  They listen carefully, and then explain exactly what they propose to do.  I'm very satisfied with their service.

John, the owner of the business was very helpful and responded very quickly to my inquiry. He also called and we discussed the matter in more detail on the phone after which he arranged for a technician, Oscar, to come out the next day and provide a free estimate regarding my property plumbing needs. Throughout the process, I was getting status updates via text about the job at hand which was very helpful. The technician was very professional, time efficient and completed the job with excellent results. I definitely recommend this John and his team for your property needs. Thank you for the great service.

Had a backed up bath tub on the weekend and Coast plumbing was available for emergency service, we paid ~$330 to have them snake the tub, and the water seemed to drain fine.

However, a few days later, it started backing up again. Called them out again because they have a 30 day warranty on the service, and I think their customer service department didn't let the technician know that this was a warranty service because he wanted to charge me for the service again. I told him it was within the 30 day warranty, he checked, confirmed, and started working on it. He told me most likely the clog went deeper after the first guy.

He snaked to ~17' and told me he couldn't get the clog. He quoted me $2400 for exploratory work to cut the dry wall and create a clean out. My jaw dropped. I said nah.

I called another plumber who snaked it in 5 minutes.

TLDR; I don't recommend Coast plumbing because they don't do a thorough job and tried to upsell me a $2400 job.

Update: James, the general manager, contacted me directly to apologize for my experience and noted that the second technician should have contacted the office to get another tech to run a longer snake.

He refunded me the ~330 emergency service and offered me a free tub drain in the future. I didn't expect any of this and was (my wife as well) pleasantly surprised. I'm updating the review to reflect the customer service. I know we had to leave a review to get a response but James didn't have to refund me or apologize so I could tell he was making an effort to keep me as a customer.

Thank you James and we will keep Coast plumbing in mind for future services.

Julio was the first to call me when I contacted several on Yelp to get my bedroom door fixed;  he came he saw he conquered!!

Happened to be out so came by to have a look
He was all the way up in LA and I'm all the way down in Huntington Beach but he was still here by like noon
So I was excited because I thought that would give enough time to do the job
But He didn't have all his tools with him since he came with a different dump truck

He came here and saw it and Listened to my story about how it happened after I put on a latch and she broke into it so I got a new door knob with a lock and then she had someone come in and take the hinges off and so they were weak and then one day they just fell off so anyways I needed it to be so that no one could possibly break in so he said simply it needs an entire new door and the door jamb. I said but the doors OK right can't you just get the outer part and he said no they come as one piece...
I didn't know that they all came as one piece but they do...

How many times have I repeated myself already? Ha ha Ha bear with me...

It was really important to me that I'd be able to open and close the door that day... cause Some really stressful stressful times and they're getting worse so...He got here around two on a Saturday but he didn't have his tools but I have a Makita and random bits of screws and pieces of particleboard From the ugly ass office furniture that's falling apart so...Even though he wasn't planning on it he just got creative with me (Marzguyvering i call it )
and used every drop of his elbow grease, more than I have, and he made it happen... (I had done some thing similar before but it was still unhinged on the top and not secure...) he def went out of his way to make it work temporarily, He also wasn't just after money because he said really because this is gonna cost today and the next day and I said no no I really want this now... and I was so stoked
He's a family man he said Sunday is for the kids so he would go to home depot 1st thing Monday and get supplies then . . . Full disclosure we spoke Sunday and I said OK you're coming first thing Monday and he said well now I have to go to Home Depot first so I'll be there a little later so he texted me good morning at 7:30 in the morning!! And I wasn't prepared for that so he waited a little bit longer but then when he got a call for another job he took it... So I told him well next time call cause I would've woken me up but it's OK...

It went way faster than I thought especially after all these other dudes just kind of dicking around! beware people... beware of Reese that comedian duck contractor dude, I'm glad because she witnessed that get the F out he's fired...

It all happened really fast... Called at 7:30 in the morning to check in... so be prepared for that... this time I set my  Home Depot opens and he's there 1st thing got the parts plus 2 other tasks I actually forgot that I even asked him to do but he remembered so I can appreciate that because after these other people that came and filled and didn't listen to anything that was really cool... even got paint he knew was needed and How did he know what color to get to match but he did
I didn't know that he'd need to get paint as well and whatever else to properly do everything... Oh yeah I also had him patch up a kick dent in the other door yes I have a temper... and install a safety bathroom bar not my mom.

Apparently the other people were waiting for me tell them exactly what to get and how to do it, but that's the point! s if I knew what to get I would've gotten it already! I don't have a truck but...right you know what I mean that's why you hire people because They know what you don't know!! Yes I digress but these are good things to learn I've never been a homeowner...

I expected him to be here in the afternoon and it would take hours but he was in around 9 AM and done by about noon and that was that

He was clean and tidy and patient and not a creep at all
And efficient and quick... And he listened to what I said and got all the parts done that we discussed more than I even remembered about...
Can't really ask for anything more and
then he left to go to another job immediately but
I would hire him again

This was an awesome experience start to finish.  

The A/C stopped working during one of the hot nights and I noticed a leak at the inside unit the following night.  After calling after hours, (and receiving a call back) I decided to wait until morning. I phoned at 8:15am and Omar was there at 8:30!

Omar was patient and spent his time educating me while he worked.  When all was done, the cost was reasonable, the A/C worked great and he was done it what seemed like no time.  I also know far more about A/C than before.

This is how you make lifelong customers.  They've got my business going forward.

I had a tankless water heater go out.  Ugg. So no hot water for a family of 6.  B&C was out there in one working day.  They assessed the issue.  They helped me negotiate a great deal with the supplier, picked it up and had it installed the next day and voila no more stinky family.  Also the workmanship and communication by Brandon who installed it was superb.  There were no surprises and removing/installing a tankless is no easy task.  Also want to mention that Greg the manager at B&C was extremely helpful when it came to working with the tankless manufacturer/distributor.  I don't believe the deal would have been as favorable had B&C not put their name behind it.   I have been going to B&C  for almost 40 years since my father first introduced me to them.  There is no other company I would trust to work on my properties!

I would add a plus to the 5 stars! I called at 6:00 on a Friday night for an air conditioning problem .Alex answered the phone and gave me an appointment for the next day. This was all during a Spring Heatwave!  He arrived promptly at 9 am. Alex was able to find the problem  and fix it,  We also asked Alex to install a NEST ( a new state if the art thermostat) . he quickly became familiar with this process and everything works great. We would highly recommend Alex!!!

These guys did a great job replacing our disposal.  Quote was quick and work was done the next day and it worked great.  Would definitely recommend these guys for your plumbing needs.

I couldn't be happier! First, a person answered the phone at 7am, friendly and professional. I explained I had a clogged toilet but not emergency. Stuart took my info and said someone would be here between 8 and 10am. I received a text when Joe was enroute. Arrived before 9am. Joe explained step one and price and then the possible next step, along with price. I feel pricing is very reasonable. He was done within 15 minutes. Joe offered to go over a checklist they have, go through the house and check plumbing; no extra fee. Joe, took the time to answer any of my concerns. I had called a different plumber the day before and left a message. (That company had been here before a couple times in the past ). I got a text 14 hours later, asking if I still needed service. So, BHI is now, my go to plumber (and probably air & heating). THANK YOU SO MUCH for the quick and friendly service !

Our heater stopped working on Thanksgiving and we called Absolute Airflow the next day due to their ratings on Yelp. A service man came out that day! He was clean, polite, informative and efficient. He examined our system and was able to get the heater to go on for $59. He thoroughly explained the problem and our options and recommendations and their respect costs including replacement options along with maintenance options. Highly recommend this company!

We had flooding in our laundry room about 3 AM. In the morning I reached out to Rancho and they responded within a few minutes. Within 40 minutes they were on the job. Ruben came out and was friendly, efficient, and knew his job well. Problem solved within 15 minutes. Rancho is our new go to plumbing company and we would recommend to anyone.
