The service itself was fine. The customer service was not so fine. I was charged a late fee for a missed appointment (during which I was home), then when they were late for the re-scheduled appointment, they denied being late and did not wave the fee from the previous missed appointment.

Neil really saved the day with his prompt response and excellent service! We ended up having to replace the toilet, and Neil made quick and affordable work of it.  Friendly and reliable, genuinely intent on helping in our time of need - he is the one we will always call on!

He showed up ahead of time and completed the job exceptionally. He had to fix work that a commercial plumbing company totally fouled up.

I want to thank Jeffrey for going the extra mile to get our washing machine finally sitting level for the first time since we had it installed two months ago. On a previous plumbing job, the plumbers had left the machine sitting lopsided with the front end propped up on the 1-inch tile and the back end lower on the untiled floor.  This was causing the machine to rock and every load of laundry to get unbalanced during the spin cycle.  Jeffrey came by himself and promptly got the machine back on level ground. I thought that was all that needed to be done, but when my wife came in to look, she wasn't satisfied that it was completely level. Jeffrey patiently and methodically took his tools and sled back out, lifted the machine up, adjusted the front feet, and kept working at it until it was perfectly level side-to-side and front-to-back. He also saw some tension in the hoses that he didn't like, so he took the machine apart to make sure they were secure in the back. Since we had been without a washing machine for two weeks, a lot of laundry had piled up and as a result my wife has been doing load after load since last night. The machine is humming along and running quieter and more smoothly than at any time since we got it.

I also want to compliment the professionalism and skill of this company's plumbers, who have been doing a lot of work in our building lately.  I'm a director on my condo association's board, and we were getting reports from some units that their washing machines were not draining properly into the adjacent shower drain. The pipe in question was inside the individual units, so it was not a problem that the condo association could address directly. Instead, we sought proposals from several plumbing companies and asked them to tell us how they would fix the problem and how much they would charge. Full Service Plumbing came in with a fairly reasonable quote, and more importantly, seemed to have the best plan for fixing the problem (our building's drain pipes are complicated). The association paid for the first job, in the resident manager's unit, and confirmed that the work they did completely solved the problem. It did, so we recommended them to all of the other owners who were having the same problem. They've now done this work in a number of units in our building and every unit they've worked on has been completely satisfied with their excellent work and the professionalism of their plumbers and office staff.

Recently my wife and I were on the mainland when we got an urgent call in the evening to say that there was a leak under our home in Honolulu. I phoned Chris, who headed straight out. He isolated the broken pipe, repaired it and turned the water mains back on. I was greatly relieved when  shortly afterwards he phoned back to report 'job done'.

Chris saved the day. What more can I say? Thanks Chris.

I do not normally write reviews but this company saved me in a time of need.  My water heater was old and just discovered leaking and one of the closest companies couldn't help until the next day afternoon. I found Hawaiian Drain Pros after searching Google/Yelp and they were able to send out a technician in 15 minutes! The technician, Jaron, was able to quickly fix my problem and drain the old tank. The offers for replacement seemed a little high and I declined but then the company gave me a better offer. Jaron was able to come back the next day, remove the old water heater, and install the new replacement. Jaron was professional and did an amazing job! Thank you Hawaii Drain Pros for helping to get my water heater issue quickly resolved!

I've used DJ twice now and both times were easy to schedule and pay. He found and fixed a leak in the walls, changed our several plumbing valves, and worked with my carpenter to move around my laundry room. I highly recommend and would use again.

Our technician Jack Perry was so professional, knowledgeable and fast.  He was able to assess the problem and took the time to explain to me if it was a water problem then what we would be seeing and experiencing.

Jack and his crew were very professional.  Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.  They fixed my plumbing issue right away.  Highly recommended.  Should any plumbing issue(s) arise, I'll be sure to use their service.

We used Diamond Head Plumbing to install a completely new sewer sump system to replace the previous system that was 16 years old. Even though old, the older system had minor issues that was able to be repaired by us. Diamond Head Plumbing installed a new sewer sump system that cost me big bucks to start with. Within the last 14 months, we have had 4 failures of the system. They said that it was our fault that the system/pump failed because of lack of maintenance. We have spent over $2000.00 in additional costs, and have found several overlooked areas of work that Diamond Head should have found on the subsequent calls. We have had nothing but crass responses from their accounting department, as well as supervisors, in addition to the poor workmanship.

Definitely will not be doing any more plumbing business with DHP. If you can see Diamond Head, you will be paying too much!!!!!!!!!! As mentioned by others, they do very poor work. Would never recommend them to anyone that I cared about.

Kamaina plumbing are exceptional and my experience with them was great.The guy who came was called Allan and I  can highly recommend him being extremely knowledgeable in the problem we had and is top notch in every way .wonderful trustworthy company.In addition their prices are very reasonable!

Easter 2021- very very windy!!!
We have carpet in the house so we usually have the kids dye eggs outside Incase they spill the dye...... no problem. We set up our tables, chairs, and tent. While setting up the tent, the wind was so strong, it was lifting the tent up. We decided to put some big buckets of water and tie them to the tent to try and hold it down. No competition for Mother Nature that day!!! So I grabbed my metal pegs and we secured the tent. The kids had fun dying the eggs and hunting for the plastic ones. It was just about to get dark so we decided to break down the tent. When we pulled one of the pegs out, water started to shoot out from the ground. OMG, we hit a water line when we pegged the tent down!!! We notified the association and they sent someone to do a quick plug until we got a hold of a plumber. We tried calling several places and they all acted like they could not be bothered!! Rude service on Easter ,really? We finally called Allan's plumbing and they were so pleasant and courteous. Although they could not find someone to come out on that night, they assured me that they would call me as soon as they opened the next morning. They not only called but scheduled me an appointment and kept in contact with me. Although it took a few days for someone to come out, I was willing to wait ( as long as the plug would hold up) because of the great customer service they had given!!! Customer service goes a long way with me and it was very appreciated that night. Even the tech that came out was really nice and courteous even though he had to try and fix the hole in the rain. My dad even held an umbrella over him to try and protect him from the rain! Thank you Allen's Plumbing!!

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
