Highly recommend Hirayama Plumbing and Repair Service.  Called them because we dropped a plastic cover down our tub drain.  Very professional, efficient and price was reasonable for the amount of time that they were at our house.

When my husband came home and saw what they did, he was very happy and satisfied. Thank GOD he remembered their name cause I forgot. LOL...

Luckily my problem was a simple fix. Unfortunately I called this company. He was in and out in 10 min and charged me $100. It would have been more had I let him replace a perfectly good tub stopper that he claimed was broken. He said he had to charge so much for travel expenses despite the fact that they are walking distance to my place. I won't be calling them again.

Used them several times.  I was very satisfied with their service.  Will definitely call them again when the need arises.  For people who complain that $100/hr is expensive for a plumber, you need to step back and think things through.  These guys are small family-owned business.  They have overhead expenses such as gas, repairs for their vehicles, cost of supplies, etc.  In addition, they have to purchase their own medical/dental/drug plans.  There's no company-matching 401K retirement account; no sick leave, vacation, or holidays with pay.  Think about it.

Hirayama plumbing company is the best to call if you have plumbing problems. Thanks to Mr Hirayama and Shane for fixing my water heater last month. You found the leak and replace it the very next day. They are so friendly and awesome, I will always call them for all my plumbing problems. Thanks again!!!

Of course your drains get plugged in a weekend and so when you're trying to look for someone it's crazy and everyone can't help you until later that week.  Until I called Hirayama plumbing.  I called this morning and they said they might be able to stop by after lunch, they called right before 1 pm and by 130 my drains was cleared.  Nice local guys and I'll be calling them for future jobs that's for sure.  I'd recommend them that's for sure.

Excellent service.  We had a leak in our master bathtub.  I called and they were able to come to the house a few days later.  They fixed the leak.  Bill was $200.  It was well worth it as our water bill was increasing due to the leak.  Thank you, Mr Hirayama.

Our sink clogged in the evening, so we were unable to use the kitchen sink and some other faucets without causing a back-up with some nasty gunk. We called around, but of course no one picked up after hours, especially right before a holiday weekend. Thankfully, a friend recommended Hirayama Plumbing, and they called us back later that evening. To our great relief, they were able to come out the very next morning! They got right to work and cleared the clog within an hour. Thank you!

Mr Hirayama is very courteous, prompt and does good work, I've already recommended them to others, despite the younger guy that works for the company...son? has no personality.

If you need help to unclog your drain or need to install a bathroom or kitchen faucet (any kind of plumbing work for that matter) please call these guys. They are Professionals.
 Mr. Hirayama is a Master Tradesman with over 50 yrs. of experience, and his Son is also an expert.

Thank you Kyle & Shane for the awesome service for my leaking shower! They both came out and took care of the leak and accommodated changing the other shower valve in my townhome. They were no nonsense, efficient, answered all my questions and I will have them doing additional plumbing work. Very trustworthy and reliable!!! Call them... you won't be disappointed!

We needed a faucet in the kitchen replaced.  They removed and replaced the  faucet that we had picked up at City Mill.  It only took them 45 minutes to complete the job.

Pros:

Damn! These guys were faaaaaaast! I called them regarding a leaking shower faucet. Less than an hour later, father/son duo showed up, and assessed the job. They went to work right away, and fixed the leak. What a huge reilief! The water leak was pretty bad, and getting worse, so them being able to come so soon and fix it quickly is greatly appreciated! I will definitely call them again if needed!

I use repair services often for rental properties and Hirayama is one of my go to companies, especially for exterior plumbing work.  I can do small repairs here and there, but when I need a licensed plumber to do a job right and quickly, Hirayama is one of my calls.  Prices are competitive, but always expect a charge for someone to come out to the job... you call because you need it, right?  They are professionals, they value their time and so do I.  I have priced out jobs with multiple companies in the past and their prices have been very fair.

Called Hirayama Plumbing for a  hose bib that wouldn't stop running.  I thought it might be the water pressure was too high because the bib was only 3 months old. They came out that same morning to check it out.  Father and son came and both were courteous and knowledgable.  They checked the water pressure, regulator and water meter - all turned out okay.  Found out the bib was defective (it was a new bib installed correctly so we didn't think it could be that at first).  Thankfully it wasn't a serious problem and they fixed it right away.  They also said my shut off valve would have to be replaced (I had turned it off until I could find a plumber to come by, but the water to the house never completely shut off).  Honest, polite and competitive pricing.  I will be calling them again to replace the shut off valve!

Hirayama Plumbing is the go to place for your plumbing and repair needs.  I have used them in the past and today October 26, 2023 with the same outstanding results.  I am 100% satisfied with their service and will definitely be contacting them in the near future.

We took the time off to get an estimate from Hirayama Plumbing and needed 1 last estimate. He txt me with it and dropped some other name of plumbers? He said since he's in Pearl City might be easier working with these other guys.

A waste of time!

I needed a plumber to install a new kitchen faucet and called Hirayama Plumbing for a quote. The charge $100 an hour.  Yikes!

Our shower started leaking last night and we couldn't shut it off.  Tried my best to fix it myself with zero success, so I started calling around this morning to find a plumber that could come out today and fix it.  I called Hirayama Plumbing because they had a couple of good reviews here on Yelp, and I'm glad I did.  

He said he would make time for us today around lunchtime, and he showed up right at 12:00.  By 12:20 everything was fixed.  Probably a simple fix for a professional, but for a clutz like me, well beyond my capabilities.  

Fast work, very reasonable charge.  I will call them from now on for whatever plumbing needs I have.

Mr.Hirayama and son fixing the gasket and changing out my mom's toilet. They are the best! Been calling Mr. Hirayama pluming for 40+ years! Thank you for coming to our plumbing rescue even on holiday weekends!

It was a dark and stormy night...road closure, land slides, floods.  As the blue sky peeked out between the clouds on Wednesday, my brother called me frantically to tell me that my mom's water heater burst...so I entered an estimate war along with people on the windward side of the island and Haleiwa.  Prices were high and appointments were not available for the same day.  Enter a board of water supply person who mentioned another plumber but they could not accommodate us until Friday.  They recommended Hirayama's/. I called and left a message and my phone call was promptly returned (he doesn't answer if your phone number is blocked).  He was on a Job a few blocks away but promised to be at my house. 30--45 minutes later and he kept his promise.  He checked out the area, went to get a new heater and installed it.The actual working time was approximately 90 minutes to two hours.  He is billing us so I don't know the cost but I am sure it is WAY LESS than the $14,000 that the first company estimated for us or the $500 labor charge another company was asking for.  I'll update this is my optimism is compromised.

This is a nice, local plumber who does good work and has a calming demeanor.
