I had a Yelp thread with Mr Mitchell during the freeze of 2021. Knowing that all plumbers were going to be super busy during this time, so on Wednesday we set up an appointment for Saturday 02/20 between noon-2pm. I had lost water and turned off my main water line just in case there was a problem (Flume was showing 20 gallons/hour being used but nothing coming into the house).
On Friday, I called and personally talked with Mr Mitchell to confirm we were still good for Saturday - he said we were.
Saturday, I received no call or updates from Mr Mitchell so I decided to call him at 2:30pm to confirm he was still coming out. I got no answer but got an automated text message directing me to text him, I figured this was because he was on another job so I texted him when could I expect him to arrive - no reply.
After several attempts to get him to respond, I decided to turn on the water myself and slowly open faucets (started outside then worked my way inside).
Everything was going well so I texted Mr Mitchell that he didn't need to come out - he replied ok.
4 minutes later I noticed a leak at one of my backyard faucets - the line is fully above ground and there was a 1 gash in the copper.
I immediately (4 minutes later) responded to Mr Mitchell's ok text that I still needed him to come and provided a picture. Several calls and texts were never responded to - forcing me to find another contractor willing to come out.
I fully understand that these were unprecedented times and would have understood him showing up later or needing to reschedule but there was zero communication the entire day of the agreed upon repair date and time. Not once did Mr Mitchell attempt to contact me during this whole ordeal.
Just goes to show that in times of crisis the customer is at the mercy of the service provider. A little courtesy would have gone a long way and I would not be writing this review.
Also - the repair took about 15 minutes to complete once the other contractor arrived - easy money. The person that actually came out was $100 cheaper without even trying to negotiate.

In the last ten days, our Family was in need of plumbing services. Recently I became aware of Chris Tobar and his crew at First Aid Plumbing Services. I contacted over the Thanksgiving Weekend & he took care of a leak I had at my Father In Law's Master Bathroom. The work they did was very professional, minimized the cut they needed to make in the wall to solve the issue & fixed our problem. Then I had him out to my personal residence because my master bathroom tub was not draining properly. He sent out his crew out to me & solved my issue. Fast, reliable & honest, you can't ask for anything more. I highly recommend Chris Tobar and his crew!

I had a leaky main water line. I called Shamrock Plumbing and although very busy they were able to squeeze me in the next morning. Patrick Feely showed up with two of his plumbers. We discussed the problem and Patrick gave his plumbers instructions and they went to work to bypass the leak and get the water to my house restored. Although it was cold and misting rain they never slowed down. It is very unusual for me to recommend a service or business but I won't hesitate to recommend Shamrock Plumbing.

Great service and hard working. Did work efficiently and in good time. Friendly team. Would recommend for different tasks. We had doors removed and new doors hung, mulch in our front and back yard beds and around trees, cut and trimmed bushes trees, removed carpet from tile, and helped with heavy lifting of items in home. Reasonable priced.

I would highly recommend. This is the second time they have been able to help us . First time they installed a water heater, and this time they helped us with some pipes. Always courteous and professional , honest, and affordable. Quick to respond. We will definitely call them again if we are in need of any work done at our home .

This is a father & son business. They are quite knowledgeable and have a friendly, business-like demeanor. They have been to my house 3-4 times since 2007 to fix a problem and charges have been very reasonable. I recommend them highly.

George and his team are fabulous! They come out quickly and are very reasonable on their pricing. I didn't know how my system worked, it has a rain sensor that stops the sprinklers from running and I thought it was broken and they showed me and didn't charge me for not knowing and they very well could of. I've had them out twice now. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Best customer service around. When I was down and out and couldn't get anyone to come over to help find a leak that was destroying my first floor this company made the drive to Austin and found and repaired the pipe. So thankful for ALD.

I had a leak in the foundation pipes in the laundry slab. It was very stressful and I did not know who to call. I have used yelp reviews before, but I did not find them very reliable. To make a decision about what company to choose I relied on two colleagues who recommended Tietze plumbing. They were awesome!!! The company was very responsive and sent a plumber soon. The first guy had to open 4 holes on my walls to find the leak. It was not easy but once he identified the problem, the company sent 2 additional plumbers to cap and reconnect my pipes. They had to work 3 full days. They were courteous and explained the problem very well. I was giving estimates before the work was done and even options. Everything was fixed perfectly and I have no more leaks. Considering the amount of work they did, I felt the price was not terrible ($4000). I wish I had had the same luck with the guy who came to fix the drywall and paint afterwards!! I strongly recommend this company. Not sure why some people gave them bad reviews. The guy who fixed my pipes was Willie.

Ok, so a bit of an update to this, this service did not last. Just 3 weeks later and the trees again have yellowing leaves. I figured out the issue on my own, they need water! I bought a wand that you stick in the ground, it goes about 12 deep, and injects water into the ground. Within 3-4 days the test tree I was doing it on perked up and had all green leaves. So... long story short, I don't believe their service helped, maybe they didn't loosen the ground enough, or that isn't the root cause of my issues. Ether way I have my trees fixed on my own.

They have been awful since the beginning- they did not tie our sewer line into the main sewer line so three days after buying the house the sewage was backing into our house!! Toilet was bolted down too tight and cracked and flooded our house! Same toilet leaked again! And now under our sink is leaking and they tell me I have to pay a 250 dollar service fee!!! Obviously they can't do their job correctly so will never use again or buy a house that they have touched!!!!

When I called, I got a 2-hr window for an ETA. They arrived a few minutes into that window. They repaired and/or replaced three things, one in the front yard and two in my house. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable. I found out they also repair central heating and air conditioning. I will call them if either goes out.

Flow -Wright Plumbing came to our home to replace a water heater under our home warranty. Would not replace the part with out paying addition cost (more than double the cost of the water heater) that John would or could not explain. Continued to accuse me of being argumentative because I asked for an explanation of the cost. Very poor customer service.
Took my $75 service fee without doing anything. Insisted on cash. He said all cost needed to be paid in cash (big red flag) because the banks were not open (covid).
I think this company needs a visit from the IRS.
Don't waste your time or money with these people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Some female said they'd be able to service our home the next day... the next day comes & she says they'd have to reschedule for the next day.... well that day comes & this dumb braud has the nerve to say they don't service our area (5 miles away).... my 3 kids went w/out water way longer than need be thanks to this company who asked for our address the day we set the apt up & never said they didn't service our area but proceeded to make an apt
