H&S Backflow is incredibly responsive and efficient. Mike came out diagnosed the problem and was able to repair my pool backflow issue the very next day. Will definitely be using them again for any of my future needs!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

Had a kitchen faucet replaced (I suppled the faucet- he was cool with that). Plumber also replaced two cutoff valves-one that needed to be replaced right now and one the plumber recommended since it was old. ( He gave me a choice about whether to do second valve ) . Price was fair, comparable to other quotes. Gave me a discount on installing the new valves since it was an add-on.

Very fast next day morning service, prompt arrival at appt. time. Worked neatly (minimal spillage ) and cleaned and dried under the sink thoroughly after the job was finished.

Great job all the way around.

Okay - so this rating is simply for the responsiveness of the company. It turns out we're just too far out of their service area, which is sad because I was very interested in possibly working with them!

I reached out requesting to schedule someone for a quote to install a new sprinkler system in our yard. I was contacted by Phil, the owner, within a few hours asking for contact information so the office could call me, which I greatly appreciated.

When I spoke with the nice young lady on the phone, she let me know we were beyond their area, which was disappointing, as I mentioned. However, often when I ask for recommendations that would point me to a competitor, I'm finding more and more companies do not have anything to share. Not this one though. She was quick to provide me with the name of a company they partner with sometimes, and I was able to move forward on my quest to not have to manually water my sizeable back yard all summer long.

Thank you for being what every business should be: open, honest, and truly interested in meeting the needs of your customers, even when you cannot service them yourselves. I will always point people your way if I think you might be able to help!

Very honest, respectful, diligent and kept us in the loop of status on where they were to reaching my parents house. Despite the weather ordeal and weather they made it out in a timely fashion and fixed it on the spot!!!

We purchased a new home that had some of the hardest water I have ever experienced.  My hands were cracked and bleeding, my hair was getting dry and brittle and we were going through our soaps and shampoos like crazy with little to no lather.  We were also concerned about how dry our babies skin was getting from their regular baths.  A friend of mine recommended Atlas Plumbing so I called and had a great conversation about our options.  They came over to the house immediately and took the time to look over everything and explain how the whole process would work.  They were very up front about the costs and potential risks of installing a water softener on an older home which I appreciated.  They also gave me best and worst case scenarios regarding how much we would spend so that there wouldn't be any surprises.  I was grateful that they recommended spending more on a better unit rather than buying a cheap system that wouldn't last as long.  You really do get what you pay for.  They started work quickly and it was so nice having them around for the couple days they were here working.  Such lovely personable people who were fun to chat with.  They were so kind to my two 18 month old twins who just adored them.  While they were installing the water Softener I also had them replace our kitchen sink with a nice deep basin and new faucet.  They did such a beautiful job.  They were so quiet, respectful, and clean while they were working.

I'm a real estate agent and I reccomend them to all my customers, and I have used them on 4 occasions at my own home. They are fair, responsive and trustworthy. In my business those are important qualities.

We are doing a re-model of a home in Canyon Lake and hired Clint DIxon as our plumber.  For the first few months, he was relatively reliable, and we paid him as per his fee schedule.  In early November, he informed us that we needed a sump pump for our septic to function properly.  He asked us to pay him in advance $600 for the cost of the pump and $160 for installation of the pump.  Within 15 minutes of leaving our home he cashed our check and has been ignoring our phone calls ever since.
When we called him from another phone number (so he did not know it was us) he informed us that he had spent the money and could not purchase the pump but that he would buy it with money that his father gave him at Christmas, and would install it on Dec. 27th.  Needless to say, he did not, and continued to ignore our phone calls until we threatened him with legal action.  He then purchased the pump (according to the store, the cost of the pump is $400, not $600) and left it in our yard.  He now owes us $200 for the pump, and $160 for advance payment on his labor.
We are now in the process of hiring another plumber to install the pump.  Clint has once again disappeared and is not accepting any of our phone calls.  I would NOT recommend him as a plumber to anyone, any time.

UPDATE: I filed a complaint with BBB after posting this review. I was contacted by the end of the day notifying me they were refunding me the $125. I have increased the review to 3 stars as they did make it right, I just wish it hadn't come me to me filing a complaint.

The toilet in our apartment wasn't working right. The complex wouldn't fix it so we had Franco's plumbing come in and do it. He figured out right away what was wrong and fixed it. He was very professional, came on time and did it all for a good price. It's a family owned company and you can tell he knows what he's doing. I would recommend them!

This guy had his assistant work a total of 1 hour 10 minutes and charged me for 2.5 hours at $87.50 per hour ONLY for the labor.  When I asked about the charges he said that he is master plumber not a handyman that is why he charged that much. He said that even though they didn't work the full 2.5 hours he was charging for driving from his office which is 10 minutes from my house.  So according to him it took them 2.5 hours just to change the washers and seats from the shower handles.  You want to hire this guy?  go ahead, his number is up there.

We had a bad experience. We specifically asked for one type of service and they sent out a different type of technician and attempted to charge us a $100 for the service. We decided to go with a different service.

I hired them due to a sewage smell in one of the bathrooms and $840.00 later a hole in my wall that I did authorize to find a vent pipe with no luck I stopped the bleeding and told there master plumber to stop working on finding the problem. And it turns out a $15 bad wax ring that they installed around 1 year ago was the problem that my renters discovered with no plumbing experience. What should have been a $100 max job cost me $865 and a hole in my wall to replace a wax ring.
