Just had Mike and Joey out to clear a clogged kitchen sink here in McKinney.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. In addition to clearing my clog, they answered question I have concerning my upcoming kitchen remodel and they help me understand my tank-less hot water system!

Legacy Plumbing was quick to respond to my request and had a technician out within an hour. Everyone from Cindy who left me a voice mail, to the person who answered the phone when I called back, was friendly and very courteous. The tech, Luis, was professional, respectful and knowledgeable. He also provided options and recommendations. NO PRESSURE at all.... He ensured the space where he worked was neat and clean prior to leaving. Great experience! Will definitely use Legacy Plumbing again in the future.

I called for plumbing help on an outside faucet. It was easy to set up an appointment, and I was told the general costs to fix the outside faucet and the service fee. I have owned two homes in Plano over the years and have learned that water is not my friend. Fortunately, as someone once said, everyone needs to know a good lawyer, accountant & plumber. I would argue that having a good, reliable and competent plumber is the most important. Legacy is the only plumber I would enthusiastically recommend to a friend, family or business associate. Why? After owning homes in this area since 1995 I have had occasion to upgrade and deal with a number of home improvements and repairs. Recently, Luke and Henry came out to replace some upgraded kitchen and bath fixtures and install a new sink. They were on time, proficient and had an uncharacteristic attention to detail and gave us some terrific guidance on some additional work that we were considering. Highly recommended. The DNA of this company is first class. I am a customer for life.

We had a leak near our foundation in the front yard. I made several calls to other companies until I spoke to one of the head plumbers at Legacy. He quickly figured out the issue by phone, even if it was a guess. They sent Adam and Henry out to do the job, who were both very knowledgeable and pleasant personalities as well. They quickly found the problem. The price was very fair to replace the water box. It took several hours to complete the job. They took time and explained everything they were doing and showed me what was being done prior to proceeding. They were careful to leave the area clean once completed. I really learned a lot from these guys today. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Highly recommend Legacy Plumbing!

We had a main line water leak and called Legacy Plumbing because of the great reviews on Google and Yelp. During our initial call we were greeted by a very nice person who said they would try to get someone to help us today but it might be the next day.

This was fine because the other companies had a 5 day wait!

Sure enough I received a call a bit later and Steven and Sheldon showed up ready to help us fix our concerns. Both guys were so nice and helpful I felt at ease. They were both honest about the repair and cost up front. Shortly after they arrived they found the leak, fixed it, and even removed a flow valve that likely caused the leak in the first place.

After the repair, Steven and Sheldon spent a few minutes with me to make sure we understood what they did and explained our plumbing system in case we need to shut off the water in an emergency.

The lady on the phone was willing to give a price quote and even double-checked when i told her it was a 1 piece. She gave me a proce range depending on difficulty. I knew I had a near 20 yo water heater and called to inquire about tankless replacement option. One of Legacy's master plumbers called me back and asked me what problem I was trying to solve. At the end of that conversation it was clear I didn't need to spend more on a tankless system and that simply replacing my current 50 gallon tank was the best option for me. I appreciated not being sold something I didn't need. They actually scheduled my estimate for later that same afternoon. They came prepared to replace the tank which they did since I was in a no better time than the present mood. My old tank was in bad shape with the bottom of the tank rusted out and disintegrating in the overflow pan. The in and out water lines were also 50% clogged with residue. So turns out the timing was perfect. Both technicians were excellent and explained all the code related items. Total price for water heater and installation was $1829. I'm certain I could have paid a few hundred $ less though Home Depot or Lowe's but it would have been a different water heater and I find their installation services hit or miss. Legacy made the replacement process easy and worry free!

Ask for Luke! I absolutely recommend Legacy Plumbing!

I don't often trust plumbers. Unfortunately, since I'm not an expert I always have to trust what they say, pay whatever they ask, and hope for the best. Not only did Luke find the issue, he showed it to us, explained it in a way that non-plumbers understand, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. After he fixed the issue, he could have easily left and we wouldn't be the wiser. However, he went above and beyond and actually found what the root cause is with why we've had so many problems. While it will require another visit, it's the first time I've felt comfortable with a recommendation from a plumber (due to Luke's patience in explaining what was going on with our plumbing to me) and thoroughly explained our options to fix the real problem.

Thank you, Legacy Plumbing for hiring and expecting your employees to be people of integrity for your business. Luke was an exceptional example of professionalism and character. While I hate having plumbing issues, this is the first time in the 18 months I've lived in this house that I've felt confident we are on a path forward to fixing!

I had 2 old valves replaced under my kitchen sink that was leaking. They came out the same day. Fair and transparent pricing.

ZERO mess was left behind for me. No black fingerprints on my cabinet. NO dust inside the cabinets. Everything was cleaned up and buttoned up in under an hour. Love working with Legacy!

Excellent communication, great workmanship, and very professional team.
I had my water service line replaced and a sewer spot repair performed. Matthew and his team took time to explain every aspect of the repair, show me all the parts that they would use, and show me photos of their past work. He accommodated my requests to add a second valve for the wall hydrant and also to run a tracer wire along the PEX service line.
The excavation team also did a good job, both with the excavation and also with backfill.
The final price came out lower than the initial quote, which came out more competitive than another company.
One thing I'd like to see in the future is the use of valves carrying an actual NSF/ANSI 61 certification (instead of just manufacturer self-certification of lead free).

The most unfortunate event happened when my son was flushing the toilet and knocked a small remote into the bowl. I knew this would require professional help since it was a solid object. It wasn't something that could be pushed through easily.

I called a few places but didn't receive a call back so I was pleasantly surprised when Legacy Plumbing answered my call and was able to provide me a simple quote for the work I needed done.

The technicians showed up and got to work as soon as they arrived. Logan was very professional, kind, and did a great job. He even suggested I replace a specific part on it so that I would have a proper placement of the toilet when it was placed back, which I did.

I was thankful that he was upfront about the cost and gave me a solution with options without it feeling like a hard sell. I put a lot of care into my home so I didn't object to the new part.

He cleaned up the bathroom and placed everything back, went over the services he provided me and the final costs. I was able to review the invoice and pay right there on the spot. He also immediately sent me a copy of the invoice by email and he was on his way!

I will definitely be using Legacy Plumbing again and recommend them.

I just had a wonderful experience using legacy plumbing for fixing our bathtub's problem. Our bathtub had no hot water coming out while the sink in the same bathroom did. We just moved to Texas from another state so we did not know any information about trustworthy plumbing companies. What I could do was search on Yelp and look for anyone who had good reviews. Legacy plumbing popped up right away and their great reviews caught my attention so I sent a quote request immediately and it was very late last night. Got their response this morning at 7 am. My husband called them at 1:30 pm today. The person who picked up the phone call was very helpful. She could give us the quote right on the phone and tell us what problems it could be. She said the earliest time that she could send a person over was between 3pm to 5pm today. Since we were going abroad soon so we wanted this job to be done A.S.A.P, therefore, we made an appointment with her for 3pm to 5 pm and YES it was like other reviews mentioned a very friendly plumber showed up at 3:15pm (of course he called us before he showed up). Steven was really friendly, honest, trustworthy and patient. And from him I learned that the owners of this company were very nice people too. This is why the company has a 5 stars rating on Yelp. They genuinely care about helping people, not just doing business. I highly recommend this company!!

Very friendly and helpful receptionist listened to our request for kitchen faucet repair, checked their schedules and was able to have service available that afternoon. Service men, Steven and his apprentice Michael , called before arriving and quickly and expertly diagnosed the problem. They had a new faucet with them that fit the bill perfectly. (I had provided info to the receptionist earlier.) They installed the new faucet and replaced the valves in no time.
This great service was such a relief after spending 17 days trying to get service from our home warranty company and their totally inept and non responsive choice of plumber, both of which did not return our many calls requesting updates.

This was the 2nd or 3rd time to use Legacy and I was very happy with their service, yet again. My water heater died over the weekend and while they were booked up Monday they said they would move me up if they could. Within 15 minutes I heard back and they had Ahndre out a little later that morning. He was friendly, knowledgeable and meticulous, and I couldn't be happier with the work he did. THE BEST PLUMBERS IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE. I called with a problem that seemed difficult for other companies, impossible for some, and the great company known as Legacy Plumbing sent out not only great plumbers but also great men, Kelly and Henry. These guys were incredible. Not only does Kelly take you under his wing and give you the best advice learned in his 30+ year career, he also answered painlessly my millions of questions (yep, I'm that guy, the annoying DIY'er who asks how everything works and how to do everything). They didn't just tolerate me and my questions but welcomed me like family. Honestly, it was such a pleasure hanging out with them that I can't even imagine what off the clock is like. They made work - hard and incredibly tough work - fun and enjoyable (or at least for me the bystander! Haha.) If you're thinking about booking these guys (and of course you are if you're reading this), just do it. If you don't understand something? Just ask. They are passionate about what they do and care a great deal about both YOU as a person and show it through caring for YOUR PLUMBING. There's nobody better than Kelly, and Henry is well on his way as his apprentice. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they were simply incredible, thoughtful, hardworking, and fun, (even hilarious at times), which made something that was super difficult look fun and easy. One way or another, these guys will solve your problems or die trying. The bigger and harder the problem the more interesting it is and more of a fun challenge for these guys to solve. You want guys like these in your corner when you have issues, that's for sure!

Backstory: My gas riser pipe for my spa heater rusted out and developed a leak about 7 years ago. I had difficulty finding a repair back then (just like now), so I gave up. I turned the gas off running to it (fortunately I had a valve for it) and dug down to uncover the part that needed to be replaced and discovered it was a polyethylene line (mine is orange, they changed to yellow in the 80's, but, just like Kelly said, it's basically the same pipe designed to the same specifications). I called several companies which gave mixed responses, but when I called Legacy Plumbing they found a master plumber familiar with gas to discuss it with me further and he immediately understood, and then he sent an experienced veteran like Kelly out who knew exactly what was going on. For these guys it really was no big deal, and within minutes of Kelly being onsite for the estimate he was able to piece together a plan to repair using the existing pipe. This was the solution I preferred anyway, and it worked out as well as it could. His care of people and his years of experience really shine, as he gives you options and listens to your thoughts instead of taking a one size fits all approach - he truly is an artist working the many variables of the problem to find and recommend the best solutions for your specific issues.

The bottom line is that I trust Legacy Plumbing as a company and if it were an option (I know it isn't :)) I would give Kelly and Henry the keys to the house and turn them loose while at work, that's how much I trust them. Let's be honest though, I could never do that because I'm way too nosy and like to learn too much, and these guys are simply too enjoyable to miss hanging out with. Call Legacy Plumbing and call them now and ask for Kelly and Henry - above and beyond doesn't begin to describe it.

Had a plumbing issue, called them, sent pictures of what was going on, asked for a quote and was given one. Was in my expected price range so I scheduled them. Tech came out completely clueless (no one gave him the pics I sent) and Ofcourse he found it was exactly as I described, as it was a main line he showed me what the pricing was which was basically triple. I told him there was no way and I'd already called them and sent pics so this shouldn't be a surprise to them/him or myself. So I paid the $50 call out fee basically (which was refunded to me later) but ended up going with another company, which was amazing, took my photos, said they could do it for the same price as I was originally quoted.

Company needs better communication and more down to earth pricing. $700+ to touch a main line is ridiculous...wouldn't recommend based off my experience but they did refund me so I wasn't out anything except another day without water.

I had a couple indicators that led me to believe we had a gas leak. Called Legacy, the only plumbing company we use, and scheduled someone to come out and have a look.

Steven and Travis showed up and did a fantastic job. They performed a couple tests and were able to determine that I DID NOT have a gas leak. They explained the tests they were performing, showed me the results and kept me updated through the whole appointment.

Steven and Travis are both personable and nice guys. We were very happy with their service and as stated at the beginning, Legacy is the only company we use.

Still 5 stars with a phone call to one of the plumbers who did work at house. As we are coming out of the Feb 2021 deep freeze I was concerned about possible leaks and prevention. He took the time to answer my questions and what might/might not happen. They are very busy right now with emergency work after days of below zero temps. I hope I don't have to call as well. I have used Legacy Plumbing in the past at a previous house that I sold. A complete redo of the sewer line. I was impressed with their quality of work and their professionalism.

Fast forward 4 years.
I once again summon Legacy Plumbing for my parent's house for the same issue. A complete redo of the sewer lines. lol. Yay me! I had our foundation done at the house and for the warranty to be effective, I had to get a passing grade on both fresh water and the sewer line. My sewer line fail the test and Cole quickly got to work. The whole project took about 3 days. That is without the excavation team digging and tunneling, that took 2 days. Cole kept me up to date on every process and findings while I was at work. He worked on our schedule, which is great. I don't think a lot of people would do that. Very thoroughly along every step of the way and I'm happy with the quality of work.

I did get quotes with a couple of companies and Legacy Plumbing is priced competitively.

I would highly recommend Legacy Plumbing.

Aaaaaaaand Legacy Plumbing continues to be awesome! I called them recently because my 15-yr-old condo's upstairs toilet was making some odd noises and flushing weirdly. You know how you can't always adequately describe the noises something is making...I did the best I could. And after the previous water fiasco (see my previous update on this review, the issue that Logan and Matthew bailed me out of) I remain in permanent PTSD mode when it comes to any possible water issues. So the words upstairs and toilet and possible issues will cause me to break out in hives.

Alex and Jose quickly figured out that it was just the internal parts in the tank that had aged and were starting to malfunction. Not wanting any more water adventures, the guys were patient with my questions and I ended up asking them to replace the entire toilet (you thought I was kidding about the PTSD, didn't you?). Kudos to the guy at the LP office (Nick?) who worked out some scheduling to make it happen the same day! I'll sleep better at night. Plus, this new toilet is more water-efficient than the old one.

These guys are great - call them for any plumbing needs!

Mike and Mitchell were professional, on time, performed quality work and friendly. I have had legacy plumbing out to the house 4 times over 8 years and every time I am impressed. They called to let me know when they were on the way, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, presented possible solutions to me, corrected the problem and itemized the work on the bill for me. They did simply an amazing job and we are so happy with their work (Hot water slab leak). No one wants to discover plumbing problems, but they did an amazing job and I would confidently use them in the future. I don't know if they give out plumbing awards but I nominate them for best service.

Luke advised me of my problem, explained it to me in terms I could understand, and left the course of treatment up to me and my budget. He even advised me of work I might need done in the future and quoted me for it, but didn't push me to have it done today. After being sent 2 different Plumbing companies through our Home Warranty company; one saying I needed a new Shower Valve which they'd have to cut through guest bedroom wall to access and the other saying I actually needed to install a water pressure reduction valve - both of which would be expensive options, I decided to do some homework to find a Top-Rated Plumbing Company in the Allen, TX area. I narrowed it down to 3 and Legacy Plumbing made the cut. They gave me a range of estimates regarding what I was looking at cost wise depending on what was needed and the amount of time to install a Pressure Reduction Valve. Even with Legacy having by far the more numerous amounts of positive reviews (and being listed in Allen's Top Picks 2022), I found their pricing was also the most reasonable of the 3 top companies I had narrowed it down to. So, I rolled the dice and schedule an appointment for them to come out and install a Pressure Reduction Valve and was looking at it costing anywhere between $950-$1,600. Although, based on the information I had received regarding my needs, I was pretty sure it was going to cost me $1,600. Which was still about $600-800 less than the next closest ball park estimate.

The Legacy Plumbing Specialist that arrived was named Ahndre (yes that's the proper spelling, Ha). I caught him up on my current plumbing situation regarding the Home Warranty Company and the 2 different plumbing companies they had sent out. I informed him the 2nd company said our water was coming in from the main at 100 PSI and that was most likely what was causing our problems. They also said it would continue to cause ongoing plumbing issues and that I should have a pressure reduction valve installed before addressing the other plumbing issues needed.

Ahndre was extremely thorough, checking multiple access points with 2 different gauges to ensure he was getting accurate readings of our home's water PSI. Two came in at 75 PSI and one was 78. Ahndre said he would be happy to install a water pressure reduction valve but that most likely wasn't what was causing our plumbing issues.

Ahndre gave me an evaluation/estimate of our problem with the shower valve stem replacement and recommended swapping out the Mixit shower handle valve for the kind we needed in order to update to a modern single-handle shower faucet/trim we had wanted. He helped me pick out online the type of shower handle and trim we wanted that would work with the type of valve he was going to install and I ran up to Home Depot to purchase while he began prepping for the job. He was very detailed oriented throughout the process, took the time to explain what he was doing/why he was doing it, leak checked without issue upon completion, took the time to do a thorough clean up job as if no work had been done once he was finished and then took the time to offer some advice regarding the caulking work I was planning to do myself.

I would definitely recommend Legacy Plumbing and, if their scheduling permits, request Ahndre as your Plumbing Specialist!!

I originally found Legacy Plumbing after reading Yelp reviews on roughly 20+ plumbing companies. Based on the hundreds of glowing reviews, Legacy was my number one choice. However, I needed a plumber on Saturday, and Legacy was/is not open on weekends.

I hired a plumbing company that was opened on weekends, and the plumber was not able to unclog the drains after 2+ hours (he said he didn't have the correct equipment). He told me that I could schedule an appointment the following week and ask for their drain specialist.

After assessing the situation, I decided to go with my original choice, Legacy Plumbing. And what a world of difference between the two companies!! From the get-go, Legacy was professional and responsive. I was very lucky that they had a Tuesday morning cancellation, and they sent Jonathan to fix my plumbing woes.

Jonathan was efficient and professional. He was able to correctly diagnose the drain issue and fix it in roughly an hour. I also had him look at the slow drain in the shower--but that's going to be a bigger project for another day.

Overall, everyone I've interacted with from Thomas, Jonathan, and Eric K is amazing at his respective job and super professional. I would definitely request Jonathan by name for my future plumbing needs, and I will recommend Legacy to friends and colleagues 110%!!

We built our home in 1996. We replaced all the toilets this year, and had been struggling to get them working properly for several months. we had tried several plumbers and even got help/guidance from the toilet manufacturer. Our pipe to the main sewer line dropped and caused clogging that backed up into the house on a Friday late afternoon. We had to call a plumber we hadn't used before to get a quick fix since Legacy was booked. We called Legacy the following week and the team was incredible from start to finish. Cole came out and was able to identify the problem, give us an estimate and schedule the work to start all in 48 hours. What could have been a very stressful situation was not because of the professionalism, kindness, and workmanship of Cole, Sean, Miguel and Joey. Our water heater finally gave out last week after being long overdue for replacement. We had a company come out and drain it to stop the leak and then quote us a price for a new one. With some shopping around, we ended up using Legacy Plumbing for the replacement job. They came in about 1K cheaper than their competitor while doing an efficient and professional job. I knew we were in good hands when they arrived at the door and began putting on booties before entering the home. I just wanted to share my experience with Legacy Plumbing, it was amazing!

I received confirmation calls, a call 15 minutes before arrival and also a text confirmation with a profile on my service technician, Kelly. We had a hose bib break inside the wall and he was able to replace and repair quickly.

He also let us know when our roof was replaced that our flashing was installed incorrectly and all the carbon monoxide was not being vented out, but instead back into my attic. Without him we would've never known.

He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I highly recommend!

Had a leak to my main water line discovered on July 4th. Filled out a few contact forms for plumbers that evening hoping for a visit the next day. Eric with Legacay plumbing emailed me that same evening letting me know to call in the morning to check for an opening and scheduled me a few days later as backup. Once again Legacy Plumbing has saved us a bunch of money. We are starting a fairly large remodel and had called to have Legacy come out and give the plumbing a check-up before we started work. Mike Collard arrived promptly on the day of our appointment and inspected the sewer. He found our worst nightmare, a sewer line ruptured under the slab. Fortunately, we had budgeted for just such an ordeal and Mike and his handy English Apprentice Alex had us fixed up in no time.

I also gave Mike the opportunity to be the plumber for our remodel which included a tak]nkless water heater install and rerouting of some gas and plumbing lines for a laundry room relocation. Mike quoted us prices for all of it and we hired him for the work.

Over the next couple of weeks, Mike and Alex came to our home and finished all the plumbing for our remodel on time and under budget. Why can't all contractors take a lesson from Legacy? I contacted them through Yelp, got an immediate response. Spoke to them and answered questions about the issue, got a price. Luis and Andre showed up the next day, on time and ready to go.

Jose came out within 24hrs and rebuilt both toilets in my daughters home. They bought a wonderful home in Carrollton but had worn out internal parts. The dispatcher quoted me some ballpark pricing on phone and then Jose came next am to fix.

He put on disposable booties and even vacuumed up after he finished.

It's no longer hard to find a plumber we like and trust.

You cannot trust these people at all.. I've used them for about 5 years and it seems my sink is continually backing up. Mostly due to all the different joints they have installed over the years. There is no clear run for water flow.

And make no mistake the plumbers are all on commission which is why they ask to check out all the plumbing in the house. Create a problem and get a commission check

If I could give 10 stars I would! My experience starting from my initial call with Legacy Plumbing to completion of service was exceptional! We noticed a sulfur-like smell from our master bathroom shower and wanted to call a professional before trying to Macgyver the situation, lol. They were booked out a few weeks but it was worth the wait. Steven and Jordan were a God send! They fully investigated the issue and although the cause of the smell in these types of cases is not always clear cut, I appreciated their honesty and recommendations. (I must add I also appreciated that I was fully informed about this prior to the visit by the person on the phone to avoid any surprises. I moved forward with the service as I wanted to be sure to rule out anything serious).
While here they also took care of a clogged drain in the upstairs shower. After taking a look they found that tile spacers were down in the drain. Not the best representation of work for my builder! But it was a thorough catch by the Legacy plumbing team! Steven and Jordan also took time during the visit to evaluate any other potential issues that we might see down the road and educated me on the appropriate maintenance.
If you are looking for a fair and honest plumbing company please look no further! We plan to use them for all of our future plumbing needs!

If I could give 10 stars I would! My experience starting from my initial call with Legacy Plumbing to completion of service was exceptional! We noticed a sulfur-like smell from our master bathroom shower and wanted to call a professional before trying to Macgyver the situation, lol. They were booked out a few weeks but it was worth the wait. Steven and Jordan were a God send! They fully investigated the issue and although the cause of the smell in these types of cases is not always clear cut, I appreciated their honesty and recommendations. (I must add I also appreciated that I was fully informed about this prior to the visit by the person on the phone to avoid any surprises. I moved forward with the service as I wanted to be sure to rule out anything serious).
While here they also took care of a clogged drain in the upstairs shower. After taking a look they found that tile spacers were down in the drain. Not the best representation of work for my builder! But it was a thorough catch by the Legacy plumbing team! Steven and Jordan also took time during the visit to evaluate any other potential issues that we might see down the road and educated me on the appropriate maintenance.
If you are looking for a fair and honest plumbing company please look no further! We plan to use them for all of our future plumbing needs!

I have been SO pleased with Legacy Plumbing. We first used them a little over a year ago and popped around using other plumbers for a bit, no real reason why, and every single time I felt they just didn't measure up to Legacy. We finally committed to using Legacy and have been so incredibly blown away by every aspect of the company.

The communication and customer service is WOW, just wow. If I don't get a live person on the phone I get a call back almost immediately. I have had emergencies where I was hopeful someone could come out same day, and they worked with me to make it happen. All with a cheerful attitude and kindness. Never once have I felt I was a nuisance.

The crew have been top notch. They are always dressed in uniform and I typically get a call from our tech when on their way so I know when and who to expect at my door (I don't answer my door just because someone knocks). The wear shoe coverings which I greatly appreciate since we have little ones and they always address me in such a polite manner. They really know their stuff, are honest about what needs to be done, what could be done, what can wait till later and what I could do myself. Just recently Jose & Kelly visited our home to help us out with an ongoing sink/faucet issue. They explained what they found, a couple of options/price point approaches and also let me know aspects I could do on my own if I wanted to save some $$. They took the time to patiently show me how I could do various things myself and were patient to answer my questions and show me again :)

I am always confident when Legacy leaves a job completed in my home. Never do I have to worry whether they simply patched an issue and it will arise again, they fully fix what they do and they do it right.

I HIGHLY recommend Legacy Plumbing to everyone!!!

I received a lot of bids and different opinions about repairing a hot water leak in my slab. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go through the concrete, tunnel under the house or reroute. I decided with a reroute and chose Legacy Plumbing after discussing the details of the job with the master plumber. My scheduled repair was 3 days from booking and was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call the day before my appointment that they had an available crew to come after finishing a job early that day. Called to ask for some advice about frozen pipes, they were incredibly kind and very patient, even though I'm sure they've been inundated with calls. I was directed to a few videos on how to deal with turning the water off, got instructions on how to spot water leaks in the walls, told how to drain the sinks and the safest way to turn the water back on. My garbage disposal was jammed, and it was not good timing before Thanksgiving in a few days with family coming over. Legacy Plumbing was able to send someone over in just a couple of hours - two technicians, Alex Maxwell and Nick Tubbs. They were fantastic! They were courteous, professional, wore masks and foot coverings the whole time they were here. They checked my water heater as well as my water pressure, neither of which was I expecting, and both much appreciated especially with the extra tips about both that Alex gave me. The team installed a new and upgraded disposal for me, and then Alex taught me a number of things about how to get its best use. He gives excellent tutorials! On top of it all, I was able to give them items for charity this holiday season, as part of Legacy's canned food / coats drive. They left with me feeling much happier than before they came! I have used Legacy before, and I would most definitely use them again.

Legacy plumbing came out to install my new kitchen faucet for me. I am a new home owner of a townhome and it took quite some time to find the shut off valve for my property. While going through different locations in my home, he was so helpful and informative about my 15 year old water heater that I I was told that I should start budgeting for for a replacement. He informed me that I could purchase an inexpensive WIFI water detector to place in the pan near my water heater in case it does leak and he also showed me how to shut off the water to my property in case of an emergency like we experienced during the recent winter storm.

Legacy plumbing goes above and beyond just the job at hand. They really care about the home owner and they take their time to help educate the general public. I really appreciate that type of customer

We had a water line leak under the slab. Canon and Andrew came out, assessed the problem, described our options and gave us an estimate. They worked well as a team and wasted no time getting the problem fixed in record time. They were professional, efficient and personable. Based on an estimate from a previous company, we were expecting to have our household disrupted for a week or more, so we were extremely pleased to find Legacy Plumbing could correct the problem the same day, four hours to be exact, and without jackhammering our foundation or tunneling under the foundation. Waited a week for the choice home warranty company to decide not to cover the boiler leakage. After the rejection, i called the legacy plumbing based on the yelp review. Alex and Nick came out the next day right at the at appointment time and replaced the boiler in the attic in about three hours. Our kitchen sink was clogged and water was sitting in the sink yesterday morning. When all else failed (Draino, Plunger, 25' Snake), my husband and I finally decided we needed a professional! I submitted an online service request that night (Halloween) and they called at 8am the next morning and got us on the schedule. Johnny came out to help us! He was very nice and professional! He diagnosed the problem, told us what needed to be done, and how much we were looking at. It was all straight forward with no hidden agendas. I had seen a first time customer waive the service charge coupon with a $100 repair and he applied that. He also let us know of the food drive they were doing for the month of November! How awesome! The best part? He was able to clear the line and I was able to use my sink and dishwasher again!!!

Johnny put shoe covers on every time he came back in our home, spoke with us (not at us or down to us) about the process and everything he would do, and gave us pointers for future use of our garbage disposal. He cleaned up when he was finished and made customers out of us! I hope we don't need him in the future, but we will definitely give Legacy a call (and request him!) if we need one! Thank you for making our first time needing any type of service call a pleasant experience!

The shower valves in my rental house got problems.

We had home warranty contract through American Home Shield and they dispatched SDL Plumbing. After coming over and talking to my tenant, told AHS that the problem was caused by my tenant using excessive force to shut the shower off. Because of this excessive force which he reported to AHS, AHS didn't cover it. He said two showers had the same exact problems. One bathroom having problem - yeah, it could happen. But two showers having problems? Had to be user errors. We had a recording of our conversation with the technician. Quoted me $780 total to fix it plus the $75 service fee.

Trusting him and his questionable Google reviews, I asked my tenants to foot the bill, making him upset. In the end, we decided to call Legacy Plumbing. Mike came, did repair and replaced shower cartridge in 30 min and cost less than $200. What caused the problem? Calcite built up. In some cities, this is common problem because of hard water. In other cities which water quality is better, this doesn't happen much.

Legacy Plumbing has been inducted into my Plumber Hall of Fame as of today.

Most recently I had them replace two aging water heaters upstairs. Logan and Andre came out the next day after calling. They arrived wearing masks and boots. We had a slow leak that became a pretty bad leak in the bath/shower handle in our downstairs guest bath. Legacy Plumbing was there that afternoon and not only did Adam and Kelly fix the problem we had, they went above and beyond for service, handling the issue and parts needed, and explaining every step. It was a bigger problem after my husband tried to fix it himself (we learned) and their expertise & professionalism was appreciated with the irritating process of the forever list that is home issues, especially the trust of someone servicing inside your home. We hope to not have more plumbing problems soon but we will call them before trying anything in the future due to Kelly letting us know he will be happy to walk my husband through fixing anything next time on the phone or by FaceTime! I contacted Legacy Plumbing because of a leaking toilet and to get some help with isolating the source of an odor coming from a guest bedroom bathroom. The usual solutions for getting rid of the odor were not working. A master plumber called me back and offered some ideas in isolating the smell. He had some great ideas that I tried. I appreciated the call with the ideas! Cole and Kameron were the crew that came to the appointment and they were AWESOME! The job was to replace and toilet and check for sources of an illusive odor in that particular bathroom. Cole offered options along the way to reduce the cost of the project. He showed me the cracked phlange in the sewer connection and gave me an estimate to fix it. When finished, Cole showed me how to change the parts on the inside of the toilet and how to easily remove the seat lid. Finally he did a free water heater check and offered another idea about tracking down the odor in the bathroom. No other plumber has ever been so customer service oriented! Legacy Plumbing has a new loyal customer!

Cole did an outstanding job. He was very professional and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. What really impressed me about Legacy was the entire operation. When I called to book an appointment they let me know they didn't have availability until the next day. When I indicated I really needed a fix the same day, they understood and suggested I call other plumbers and gave me a price range that would be reasonable for my issue so I'd know if I was getting a good deal. Had a late night leak on a bathroom shut off valve! Couldn't get it to seal completely so, as the place was flooding, I was outside shutting off the main water in the rain storm. The next day was Sunday and I didn't have reason to get emergency take a loan out to get service visit so I decided to do a little research to find a new plumber. Plumbers are those guys you usually don't think about until you need them. The two I've used for years have let me down the last two jobs so, I decided to get a new company. I had never consulted The Yelp in order to get a plumber so, gave it a shot. These guys fit all the criteria, responded promptly, called me before they officially opened Monday and came out and did a professional job. The service crew is dressed in uniforms, place paper boot covers on before entering your house and drive a modern late model signed truck.
I will definitely call them in the future if I need plumbing help and don't hesitate to recommend them to you.

We had a tricky plumbing issue and found Legacy plumbing through their spectacular reviews. Their scheduling/administrative staff were so lovely and booked us within a few days!! When Matthew and Ramone from Legacy Plumbing arrived, there was a marked difference from most of the plumbing companies we've worked with before. They put on shoe covers before they entered the house, took them off whenever they went outside, and replaced them when they re-entered. This is the white-glove service of plumbing. Matthew and Ramone took a look around an outlined our options. They clearly explained each option, gave a reasonable estimate of what it would cost, and helped weigh the pros and cons of each one. Matthew was incredibly professional and knowledgeable and almost immediately found issues that other plumbers hadn't even looked for. I felt so confident in the knowledge and ability of these guys that choosing them was a given. Best choice we could have made! They took leave no trace to a whole new level. After the repair, our home looked like nobody had been there, which is saying a lot with plumbing work. When the day came to have the plumbing work done, Matthew and Jordan arrived. They were professional, clean, and did great work. When the job was completed, Matthew showed us the issue and explained what had gone wrong. His level of plumbing knowledge is unlike any I have ever personally experienced, and this is coming from the daughter of a retired master plumber. I have 100% faith that with Matthew's expertise and the crew that was involved that this work will stand the test of time. Good plumbers are a dime a dozen. Bad plumbers are, too. But great plumbers are rare, and Legacy Plumbing has at least 3 of those in Matthew, Ramone and Jordan. I could not recommend these guys more highly. My wife and I are so glad we heard about Legacy Plumbing. We now know from firsthand experience that all the perfect online reviews are spot-on. Andrew and Adam came out yesterday and installed two 50-gallon gas water heaters in our 2nd floor walk-in attic as well as a new pressure release valve in our front flowerbed. They completed the work with utmost professionalism. You could tell they took pride in what they did. They communicated in a clear and friendly manner, explained everything in detail, and were even diligent about wearing booties over their shoes in the house, which we really appreciate. The fix is quick and professional! And also very good lecture is given, we know better about the gas lines. What extra I want to call out is that the professional service. We had other plumbers came and gave us at least $2600 estimations. They didn't explain anything and just asked us to replace the entire outdoor gas line. However, legacy plumbing determines which part is the real part that need to be replaced or fixed, and only cost us 1600. That's Amazing! They are really professional and nice person. And Give me very clear estimation so that I know where my each dollar Is spent. The only issue here is that they are too outstanding and not easy to book on the same day. This is just because they are too good and professional! lol

Our 9 year old tank water heater stopped working, so I thought it was dead. Called Legacy for an estimate for a tankless water heater. Kelly and Mitchell came out. They offered to fix the old water heater, no charge beyond the $50 service call if it didn't work. I happily agreed. They replaced the thermocouple and the old water heater is now working fine! They also provided a detailed estimate for the tankless water heater. Was so happy, had them also replace original 1972 leaky shower valves. The old valves had scale buildup and took effort to get off, they had the new valves on the truck, and the new valves work great. Both Kelly and Mitchell were polite, professional, and knowledgable. They patiently explained my options and costs and answered my questions. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Wayne and Alex just left my daughter's house after fixing a water heater problem.. They did an outstanding job of quickly finding, explaining and recommending the proper solution for her problem. They were so knowledgeable about their trade as plumbers, honest about the best fix to solve the problem and upfront about the costs involved. They also were so respectful and and concerned about following Covid 19 protocol during this trying time of a pandemic. They didn't try to sell us anymore than was needed to solve our problem. You can assess that the company culture is one of a higher standards than most plumbing companies. I could not be more impressed or satisfied with the end result. After letting them know I have a slab leak they politely asked if I could wait until 5 days from now to have someone come out just to detect the location of the leak. With my water off... to my house... for 5 days. Thanks but found a plumber just as busy, who actually asked what area I lived in and looked with their eyeballs to see if another tech was in the area just to give me an idea of what I was looking at.

Reached out for a quote and filled out the form as requested. I was told they could not provide a quote online and could tell me more on the phone. I then sent a message asking for them to please let me know what else they needed to know for it's almost impossible for me to talk on the phone with a baby and a toddler. That message was read, and went unanswered. Zero Stars for poor customer service. Don't advertise to assist a customer online if you cannot, and I had a simple request and just needed an estimate for how they charge as a company, not a hard figure.

So I found a warm spot on my floor and after a google search I thought it might be a slab leak. I called Legacy Plumbing, based off the great reviews the next day when the warm spot was still there and scheduled an appointment for two days later when I was off work. They gave me some tips to help in the meantime. They also went through and broke down pricing so I had the right expectations before hiring them! I felt their prices were more than fair. The receptionist I spoke with was so kind and helpful also when I called with a question. On the morning of the appt, when the plumbers were en route to my house, I received a text message with all kinds of information on the senior technician who was coming to my house.. so I could read up on his experience being in the profession. Both plumbers that came out were awesome... Canon & Gerald, I couldn't speak more highly of! Professional, knowledgeable, very thorough and patient with me ..and all of my questions. This plumbing world is unfamiliar territory for me and they explained everything in a way that made it so much easier to understand. I'm grateful for them making such a stressful experience so smooth.
I also was super grateful they didn't have to tear up my floors or the drywall inside my house. Instead they abandoned the bad/cracked line under the slab and rerouted a pipe from my hot water heater up through the attic to the guest bathroom which is where it needed to go. I have a single story home which made it an easier task to accomplish.
Overall, I'm so glad I chose Legacy and will most definitely choose them for any future repairs or needs!

As things often go with older homes, we have encountered more problems. We sprung two other slab leaks on different lines in the bathroom. Canon and his current assistant Gerald held to the same standard they did the first time, if not actually surpassing it. We actually ended up rerouting all the hot water in my master bathroom instead of fixing the old copper pipes that are on their last leg. True to form, the work got done very quickly, with fantastic quality, and with perfect communication from Canon every step along the way. The price from Legacy came in lower than another company wanted to jackhammer through my foundation and fix just one of the old lines. Anybody I know of that needs serious plumbing work done will be getting a recommendation of Legacy from me.

Steven and Hubert came by right on time, and were so considerate and kind the whole way through. They weren't pushy about things, they gave me all of my options, and were super knowledgeable about it all. They were able to come out the day after I called so I wasn't without hot water for too long. Their prices are competitive. They may not be the cheapest, but they're close. They came out to be about $100 (5%) more than the cheapest quote I got, but their warranty was 3 years better on labor and 2 years better on parts. So sign me up! Steven offered his cell phone number to me to text or call if I had any problems with the heater or anything else and was insistent that I wouldn't be bothering him if I reached out and that he would save me money whenever he could. If he could advise and help me fix it on my own, he would and it wouldn't cost a thing. A+ service, A+ people, this is where I want my money going to! Will definitely use again when my other water heater goes out!

I had sent Legacy Plumbing asking for a quote on a job at our house...when I explained what I needed done over the phone the lady I spoke with was able to talk to their master plumber & explained to me that I do not need the job done. First the bad news. Legacy is busy! They are booked up, so unless it's an emergency, plan ahead.

The good news is, places that care about their customers usually have lots of repeat business, and as someone who has been loyal for years, they always take care of me. Just like this time.

Our toilets have been giving us trouble over the last few months, and finally one stopped up totally. Sam/Legacy came out and really took his time trying to figure out exactly what the problem was. He even went so far as to put a camera into the pipes to see if there was an obstruction down the line somewhere (a first for me, I thought that was reserved for colonoscopies ).

One really nice thing about Legacy, is they use flat rate pricing. So when you get an estimate, it is actually what you pay. With Legacy I get the feeling that the company and the customer are on the same side; getting the job done right!

Sam did a great job explaining our options, and was very careful about our house. Legacy is the first plumbing company that I have seen use those disposable booties over their shoes so they don't track dirt into your house. Just a nice thoughtful touch.

I really appreciated Sam's work, and also having a company have such consistently good employees. I think one mark of a good company is managing to attract and keep such capable people year over year.

Amazing service! Jose helped us when our kitchen sink was backed up last year and we called him up again when we were faced with a few issues once again. Unfortunately, we used a contractor last year that left us with a multitude of lasting issues. Hundreds of dollars later, I hope we are past that madness. However, Jose has been wonderful. Honest, fair, considerate, and thorough. He replaced our water heater, fixed an issue with a toilet that wasn't re-installed properly, and fixed the connection to the washer/dryer that, again, wasn't re-installed properly. I highly recommend both Legacy and Jose. My family will continue to use and trust them for their service level and integrity.

If all businesses operated the way Legacy does I would run out of things to whine about. They answer the phones by the second ring, every time. No irritating dial one for this, dial two for that crap that keeps customers at arm's length. They also have a dedicated office, which means you're not getting a guy's voicemail on his cell phone while he's on another job and waiting for a callback. At the main office number I talked to Eric and Carmesha, and they're both pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. Carmesha ends calls by saying, And my name is Carmesha, which takes phone etiquette to the next level of professionalism. Then there's Cole Ewton, who actually did the work. He was on time for all three jobs (removing roots from a sewer line, a toilet repair, and repairing the sewer line), always answered his phone, returned calls when he said he would, and either texted or called to keep me in the loop, whether it was about his arrival time, the inspector's arrival time, or the excavators' arrival time. He was also very willing to answer technical questions. He left both job sites, indoors and out, spotless.

The excavators who dug up the sewer line preserved all the landscaping plants, and when they had restored the site you couldn't tell that they'd even been there. The ground and the mulch looked 100% undisturbed. It was amazing. As for the value for the price: Considering the ease of working with everyone, the ease of getting appointments, their communication skills, and the quality of the work, I got an excellent value. The prices were also in line (within $100) of another estimate I got for the sewer line repair and within $30 for the toilet. I recommend Cole and Legacy without reserve and wouldn't dream of calling anyone else in the future.

Mike was early, friendly, professional and communicative. He worked quickly but explained everything he was doing in layman's terms to me. He was transparent with pricing before any work was done, and his attention to detail was top notch.

I'd highly ecommend Legacy Plumbing.

The work done was resetting the wax seal under the toilet. He also replaced the shut off valve, regrouted the base of the toilet and increased the water level in the tank to ensure a more powerful flush.

I also mentioned an issue with my water box, and he took a look and provided a recommendation & no pressure quote.

One of our 2 Rinnai tankless water heaters failed to provide hot water one morning. The builder's plumber that installed it evidently failed to install the 2nd CONTROLLER to the unit that wasn't working. In addition the original install was not piped properly so it could not be drained as recommended every 2 years. Also, the company that installed the units no longer work with the builder! I explained the no hot water situation to Legacy and they scheduled a time to come out to diagnose and gave a quote over the phone for worst case scenario if they needed to replace the 10 year old Rinnai, which seemed reasonable when calling other companies. The day before they were to come out, the hot water RETURNED. They came out anyway and tracked the wire from the Rinnai up through the attic but could not find where the builder's plumber should have placed the 2nd controller unit for it. That controller would have given them the error code for them to diagnose what the problem was. Legacy plumbers gave 3 options: order and install a controller, drain the unit but that might initiate the unit to fail since it had never been drained, or do nothing until it stops again and then replace the unit. I opted for doing nothing. While they were there I had them replace a leaky outdoor faucet prior to any freezes this season, which was done nicely. Very competent and thorough, pleasant guys! Answered all my questions to my satisfaction! Would highly recommend.

Took care of the problem, was very helpful in explaining what was going on. My issue is with the davt they talk about the upfront honesty. They give you an estimate over the phone...cool. When he got there he reviewed my issues and gave me a new / reconfirmed estimate which I acknowledged and signed. Then at the very end when giving me the bill he added in another $100 service that was never discussed that he said he ran into. No heads up, no revised estimate etc. If the service is built and spends so much time on trust, why would you pull that?

Steven from Legacy Plumbing recently replaced the frost proof faucet outside of our home. It was a simple and quick fix. Steven took the time to tell me exactly what he would be working on and what it could cost before he did any repairs. After the repair he showed me the crack in our original faucet, and what we can do in the future to prevent this issue. I explained to him that my fiance and I are not particularly handy but I like to learn more about how to care for appliances in my home. He then showed me how to shut off the main water valve, should that ever be an issue. Steven was professional, friendly, honest, and punctual. Mike and Alex came over and wore shoe covers at our request. They quoted me for an interior drain clog and then tried to unclog my drain from my kitchen sink. They had to eventually go through my roof vent to drain the clog, however, they did not charge me more for this extra work. Mike even taught me how to clean my bathroom sink with a zip it. Carmesha and Clifton were so pleasant and helpful over the phone. We greatly appreciated that they could give us a price over the phone, which is rare. Two days later Jonathan and Andre came out to replace our water heater. I can't say enough good things about these 2 gentlemen: professional, knowledgeable, pleasant. I had Canon from Legacy plumbing come out to do some work on my house. He and his apprentice (I can't remember his name but he was a really nice guy too) were absolutely fantastic. They were very personable, and took a lot of care not to overcharge me for services that they easily could have racked up the bill on. Canon even sharpened my pocket knife for me! I can shave with it now haha. It's hard to find contractors you can trust, but these guys hit it out of the park. If you're looking for plumbers, you would be foolish not to call them. Easily 5 stars. I would have given them more if I could. Had a water pipe in the slab rear its ugly head the Wednesday of the blizzard. Unfortunately I couldn't get an appointment for 2 weeks (not Legacy's fault) and other slab leak companies were even longer. Wayne and Gerald got here first thing this morning, and spent an hour understanding the plumbing for my entire house. After performing some tests and confirming some theories, they were able to locate the leak in about a 12' section of pipe. Now, the fun began.

Wayne and Gerald suggested several different options: Tunneling under the slab, re-routing through the ceiling, or installing a smaller pipe within the existing pipe. We chose to install a smaller pipe within the existing pipe, and they got to work and knocked it out. At the end, our water supply is as good as before, we have no leak, and we only had to have Legacy cut 2 access holes in our drywall. We were expecting concrete dust and piles of dirt, and because of the thorough analysis and diagnosis of the problem, Wayne and Gerald got us running in under 6 hours. I can't say enough how professional, concerned and focused the team was, and we are thankful for the great work that they did. They also identified some other issues affecting water pressure and our hot water heaters, and we're having another Legacy Plumbing team come out and resolve those problems in a couple of weeks. I called Legacy Plumbing (and three other companies) on Thursday afternoon because I had a water leak. I had no idea where the leak was coming from. Legacy was the only company that could get someone out the next day. Canon and Brandon arrived at 9am Friday morning. They were appreciative that I was paying attention and asking questions as they looked for the origination of the leak. The leak was found in about 45 minutes. The job was completed by 1130! Cutting walls and crawling around in the attic was required. They were very respectful of me and my home. Cleaned up beautifully when they were done. I loved the way the two of them worked together. I could genuinely tell that they both loved what they do and they enjoyed working with each other. I will 100% call them back again when the need arises.

I recently noticed that a section of my wood floors in the my living room had buckled a little so I was concerned that there may have been a leak under my slab. I called several plumbers to see if anyone would be able to come out to just take a look. Understandably, all were booked several weeks out, including Legacy. However, Legacy at least had one of their slab leak specialists call the me the same day to diagnose it over the phone. Long story short, the specialist (Theron) diagnosed that it was not a slab leak. This is what sets Legacy apart from the other companies. Legacy was a blessing to us and have won over a customer.

I had both a busted pipe and clogged drain under my kitchen sink. We contacted Legacy late in the day and got an appointment for the next morning. That was a huge relief since we had to shut off the water to the house until someone could come to the house.

Steven and Mathew arrived the next morning. I showed then what they would be dealing with and they set about assessing the situation. They arrived at an estimate and also gave me several alternatives for me to choose from depending on what would best suit me and my pocket. Once I had settled on what I wanted they set about addressing the situation. They worked together in a very efficient manner never getting in each others way yet seemingly anticipating what each other would need next. They completely cleaned up their work area when they were done. They even went so far as to completely shine up the sink and thoroughly cleaned the under side of the cabinet when they were done. I was impressed!

I also have to say these two men were clean, well groomed and not your stereo type image of service workers. They were well spoken, friendly and engaged in a high level of customer service behavior.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing service. A very satisfying experience.

We have used Legacy Plumbing in the past, and had a great experience with them. So when we needed to replace multiple toilets in our home, we gave them a call again. The dispatcher was courteous, talked us through our options, and gave us a rough estimate. That was the only positive experience this time around.

The plumber they sent came out to replace the toilets, and explained that our cost was fixed, except for the flange, which he wouldn't be able to see until he got the toilets out. He explained they would either be repaired or replaced if there were any issues. Fast forward a few hours and he explains that one of the toilets will need a new flange. And quotes us $300 extra ($296 exact) for the flange. We are surprised by how expensive this is and do our research. It turns out, that a flange is basically an $8 part.
So I asked him for a breakdown of the costs. And he says to me, there is no exact breakdown really to show on paper... So I ask him, if it really basically is a $10 part, to which he concurs it is. I ask why the charge is an extra $296, and he claims it as labor. Which doesn't make sense. He is already in our home, and we are already paying about $1500 for the installation of the new toilets, why is is charging us $300 extra for labor? Confused, I asked him. He just replies that it is labor. Even though he is already here being paid to remove said existing toilet. Also, he does not say this very professionally, but is rude and curt about the explanation. I explain again, that to charge us extra $300 labor on top of the labor we are already paying for an $8 part and 15 min of additional work is not making sense. He just kinda shrugs and blows it off as policy. We did not expect him to do this extra work for free. We expected a reasonable charge. But for what is was, $300 was excessive. It was so disappointing. It is highway robbery at best, and not the best practices of local competitors in the area, as I have called and asked these companies, if while a technician is out replacing newtoilets would they charge $300 extra for a flange.
One company's rep actually laughed at the absurdity. This is not something that is standard to other businesses. You already have our business, you are already here being paid a large amount of money to fix something; to flippantly add an extra $300 to screw down an $8 part is lousy. Shame on you, Legacy Plumbing. I will for sure be telling our friends and neighbors about this incident. We will not be calling Legacy Plumbing ever again.

I know the usual route is to find good, honest companies, and then trust who they hire. After reading about Matt, Daniel, and Sean at Legacy Plumbing, I might have chosen them also..

Luckily I don't have to choose companies. I found an honest plumber! Completely professional, good communicator, reliable, and fast! Taylor!

Each time he changed companies, going around the DFW area, I knew I could trust his judgement. If Taylor thinks you are worth working for- I am willing to do business with you!

So, Legacy Plumbing, after Taylor came by and fixed our leak, and found our low water pressure (and fixed it), I looked y'all up on Yelp.

No surprise - you are just as high as The Taylor Seal of Approval suggested!

I needed a plumber this morning when my garbage disposal started leaking. The one I've used for a while couldn't come till Monday afternoon. So I went to Yelp and found Legacy Plumbing with across the board 5 star reviews. And ... they are DESERVING of them! From the initial call at 10:00 AM to be told they could be here between 12 and 2 today, to the next call at 11:15 with them saying He can be there in 10 minutes if that's okay, to him arriving and being AWESOME, it was indeed a 5 star experience in all phases.

Mike Collard was the plumber who came. He was the best. He explained it all in detail, he gave me options, he walked me through all of it. It's obvious he loves what he does and loves the company he works for. I really appreciate all of that!

Amazing and timely service. I called these guys and they were able to come out in less than a week. They showed up at the very beginning of the provided window (and called ahead to let me know they were coming). Luis not only handled my plumbing issues but also took a look at a couple other items I wasn't sure about. Legacy Plumbing came out to replace the cartridge in our shower faucet a few months ago. The job was done well and quickly, and they were reasonably priced. After finishing, my tech Enoch gave me his number in case I had any small issues with this job or anything else in the future. Fast forward to now, and I had a clogged drain in the tub of our other shower. He talked me through how to solve this problem on my own. I will definitely use them again for any issues I can't resolve myself.

I thought I had to change out my tank water heaters.
I shopped around & got the best rate from Legacy Plumbing.
Steven & Matthew came out to take a look. Unlike most plumbing companies, they told me what the real problem was. They even told me that I could wait another 3 years before changing out my 7 yr old heaters.
While the other plumbers said it was a 10 yr old unit (since we bought our house only 6 yrs ago, we had no clue how old/new the units were).
From now on, they are my go-to plumbers.

I have had bad experiences with plumbers, but my experience with Legacy was nothing short of amazing. Johnny came the first day and diagnosed the problem which turned out to be a slab leak. He was courteous and very informative about the leak and about potential pricing. Matthew came the next day to determine how best to repair the leak. He explained all pricing and potential options for repair. Luckily, he was able to repair by rerouting the effected line through the attic; however, other more expensive repairs could have been used: drilling through the slab and tunneling under the slab. Other plumbers would suggest other more expensive options (like my previous bad experience with my first repair with that other plumber). Once the repair was complete, Matthew walked me through the repairs and the pricing. I cannot recommended Legacy Plumbing enough.

Last year my home had a plumbing issue and Legacy sent out Taylor, who was just the best, knowledgeable, professional, confident, and overall friendly. I can't believe I'm only writing this now, but Legacy Plumbing is fantastic. I stumbled upon this Yelp page last year in a desperate search to find someone who could replace my leaking water heater same-day. After making several calls, Legacy Plumbing saved the day. They gave me an estimate and a summary of actions over the phone before they confirmed the appointment, which I really liked. Also, the gentleman who came to replace the water heater was named Enoch, and he was easily one of the most professional and knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with. We were so pleased with our experience that I recently scheduled Enoch to come back to replace our second water heater proactively at old age, which he recommended on his first visit (when I asked him about every other plumbing concern I had). He kindly took the time to take my husband and me through everything, and answered all of our random plumbing questions (we had only been in the house a short time then).

I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing, especially Enoch. We will be coming to Legacy for all of our plumbing needs in the future, and I've recommended them to friends.

Alex Maxwell is a tremendous representative for Legacy Plumbing! I am not sure that I can find sufficiently glowing terms to do him justice. Professional, proficient, knowledgeable, capable, patient, neat, pleasant...etc. Alex was originally here to clear a blockage in one of our toilets and after asking if I was interested in recommendations to address this recurring problem, he was immediately able to offer detailed options from memory. No need to check on it or check with the boss.
I also had a completely unrelated question about another nagging issue we had with the kitchen sink taking forever to get hot water...again, he was immediately able to offer a detailed explanation of a resolution from memory! If that were not enough, he also offered to inspect our hot water heater without me asking, just as an added benefit.
We decided to execute on all the recommendations to upgrade our toilets to the Kohler Cimarron and install a Comfort Pump on our hot water heater to address the issue at the kitchen faucet.
Alex came out to start the installs on Monday, January 18th and patiently and fully explained every step of the process and the function of the Comfort Pump. We now get HOT water in the kitchen in very few seconds instead of a minute and half and we are NOT wasting gallons of water each time! With what water costs around here I believe the cost of the Comfort Pump will be recovered in lower water bills, not to speak of the much improved convenience!
As for the Kohler Cimarron toilet...let's just say it's simply awesome. Comfort height for my old knees and I think it might be able to flush an actual brick! It is a massive improvement from the toilets that the builder installed for a number of reasons and still rated at 1.28 gallons per flush...more water cost saved! Alex also patiently explained the many benefits of this wonderful new device...like no more crappy flapper valve, 2-stage flush function, better bowl cleansing...etc. Oh, and once again he addressed an issue with a clogged aerator screen in a bathroom faucet that I had not even noticed, but he did!
In short, WHEN you need a plumber...call Legacy and hope you get Alex, but I imagine that their other folks are pretty awesome as well. We are just a little prejudice since Alex is our guy. My wife and I are so impressed we are considering adopting him! LOL

Great response and service. Johnny came in and immediately put on shoe covers. He checked the issue and actively listen to my concerns. He diagnosed the issue and usually his IPad calculated the options. You get an opportunity to decide which option you would like. He explained his process and did the work timely. All forms of payment are accepted. My only con is that the repair was a little pricey but I guess you have to pay for good service done right.

The shut off water valve in front of my house's pipe separated from the street's pipe and made it impossible to get any water in my house. I called Legacy Plumbing, talked to the nicest dispatcher and was lucky enough to get someone to come out that afternoon. Jose completely rebuilt the shut off valve in front of my house and now I have better water pressure than I've ever had before. He was so nice, knowledgable, and fast!

Came home from a mini vacation and notice that my hot water tank was spurring water so we had to turn off the water and call for some superior work from Legacy Plumbing. Kelly was great!

We had a clogged toilet (entire roll of toilet paper got flushed!), and Legacy fixed it for the lowest price they quoted. They could have charged me more, and I honestly wouldn't have known the difference.

Also, after it was fixed, Kelly told me several other things that should be fixed and told me how to fix them myself. He wasn't just trying to make extra money, because he practically told me not to hire them and that our management company should do it! He gave me his persona number and said to call if I had any questions.

We found a gas leak at the meter (on our side of course) last Friday afternoon. Sam was here at 8:15 on Monday morning and stayed ALL day to help resolve. We actually had 9 different leaks (one actually where the gas came into the house that wasn't tightened 20 years ago) and waited till the city came to inspect in the afternoon. When the gas company finally showed up after 7:00 p.m., Sam was ready to help get everything primed and back online. Can't say enough great things about their service. We have replaced a hot water heater, hose bibs, faucets, and all the valves in our house with Legacy. Will call them every time.

Had both of my water heaters changed with Legacy Plumbing. Their office staff is super friendly and helpful, they were able to schedule me for the very next day. Both of my tanks are in the attic but Sam and the crew got it changed in no time and they were very professional. As for a simple pricing and project estimate. Business would only schedule a call with a guy that was 3x more expensive then anyone else. Along with that told me they wouldn't install water filtration which is best recommendations for installing a thankless like request.. Business seemed like they only want to do quick replacement and move onto next project. If you are semi familiar with what work is done this company will seem to avoid you to try and get more money than what a project should cost. buyer beware.

Excellent experience with Legacy Plumbing! I found Legacy Plumbing searching on Yelp and the positive reviews are well deserved. I scheduled an appointment on a Monday for someone to come out that Wednesday between 10 and noon after an unfortunate incident where a bottle of nasal spray fell into a flushing toilet and shot through like a torpedo causing a partial clog. Enoch called around 10 Wednesday morning to make sure I was available and letting me know he was headed my way.

After showing Enoch the issue he explained the possible scenarios and the pricing that went along with them. Things were fixed quickly and I feel that he took the utmost care in making sure no damage was done to anything and cleaned up afterward.

Enoch was very professional and I'll definitely be calling Legacy Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Excellent experience! Fast scheduling and dependable. As promised, we received a phone call prior to their arrival within the correct time frame, and they were on time. These three occurrences alone put Legacy above our past experiences. Then, Schuyler continued to impress.

He is courtesy and knowledgeable. Not only did he make the scheduled repairs, but he believes in educating the customer while he is there. He explained each step of what he was doing and was sure to point out items that I could easily take care of myself. Additionally, he went above and beyond when he turned back on the water to my house and noticed the meter running even though no water was on in my house; he took the time checking every faucet/water access point and discovered a leaking toilet in our home. My husband had recently fixed another running toilet in the home, but this one was in a rarely used guest bathroom, and we would have spent a lot of money until we finally realized this problem.

As if that wasn't enough, while checking the house for a leak, he noticed the handle to my cold water in my master bath sink was missing. It simply came off in my hands one day when I went to turn it on. I knew I had not seen or heard any screw or other missing part fall, yet the handle was unattached. My husband and I were in the process of finding replacement parts when Schuyler came, noticed the faucet, and said, You don't need any parts. He quickly looked under the sink, found the faucet was incorrectly installed (12 years ago), that the C-ring was installed under the counter instead of above and had finally given way, allowing the handle to come off when the base fell through the counter hole. Within 5 minutes, Schuyler repaired this for me. There is no telling how much time/money we would have spent chasing down the wrong problem. Schuyler's eye for detail, knowledge, and commitment to sharing that knowledge sets him apart from any service provider we've ever worked with!

Serviced back in 8/2/1016. Hot water line re-route. Legacy Plumbing claims the following:
- Service with Integrity - Fast and Dependable - Clean and Courteous -Upfront Honest Pricing. Really?

Yes, pricing was upfront. Initial job request was to re-routed hot water line for the entire house. I had a slab leak. However, several weeks later, I discovered my washer did not operate in warm/warm cycle. Call them back and explained they were supposed to reroute for the entire home. More upfront pricing because they claimed work is done by the hour.

They come out, spent close to an hour talking, retrieved tools, more talking. Took them approximately 15 minutes for actual work but labor charge was for two hours. So..., pay up. To make me feel better, they claimed to have discounted my fee. Really?

If they re-routed the hot water line for the entire home in the first place, as the initial job requirement/request, the initial cost would have been the same and I wouldn't have needed them to come out again because all the talking and prepping was already in place. They will try to convince you otherwise. Whatever...

Fast and Dependable? Really? Experience it for yourself.

Clean and Courteous? Courteous perhaps... just enough to convince you to let them work on your plumbing problem. Clean? Yeah, their appearance is, but isn't this just a given for such professionals? As far as cleaning up after their job, they do a pretty poor job at it.

As experience as they claim to be, I have to question why they did not route the hot water to my washer during their initial visit. Oh wait..., if they have to come back, they get to charge me again. I get it...

Service with integrity. I think NOT.

Why am I writing this review now? From the work they performed, I now have a pin-hole leak from my 16 months old re-routed hot water line. The leak is coming from a plastic T connection that was supposedly crimped (looks to be aluminum) using their very expensive tool. At the time, they assured me that it'll never leak. Right...

TLDR: Extremely patient, honest, and hardworking people. They are skilled at what they do, so for more complicated jobs, they don't overcharge or over complicate. We are picky people and had confidence they did it right for an excellent and fair price where so many in the home services / remodeling industry don't.

We worked predominantly with Mike. The story begins when we had a blockage in our downstairs master that we were renovating. We called another plumbing company out to help clear the blockage, and ironically this other man was also named MIke. Butthead Mike (not to be confused with nice awesome Mike from Legacy plumbing) basically told us a whole bunch of stuff that was flat out wrong. When nice awesome Mike from Legacy plumbing and Gerald came out, they were like yeah I don't know what that Butthead Mike was talking about and basically just fixed everything. Bullet point style on the work they did:
- There was a broken pipe under our house, so Mike and Steven spent probably 8+ hours straight cutting old pipe and completely re-plumbing the sewer line. Since there was a blockage in the waste pipe, use your imagination what kind of stuff was stuck. It didn't smell like flowers in our confined crawl space, and not a word of complaint from either of them. Also they didn't take up our offer to eat lunch and just plowed away. After they were done, they ran cameras down every single pipe in our house and confirmed everything was good to go.
- Completed the rough in remodel part of our bathroom - relocating toilets, faucets, showers, etc. I probably called Mike everyday for a couple days straight asking questions. He always had time to answer them and was extremely patient and never condescending. Other companies were quoting outrageous prices (4-5x) for the remodel, but every time I wanted to change or tweak something, Mike said no problem - it wouldn't be hard and wouldn't cost much more. This honestly doesn't happen very often - specialty trades take advantage and always try to make things sound extremely hard and complicated, so they can sell/charge you more. Throughout the rough in, Mike checked with me multiple times that everything was in the right place. After they were done, they checked multiple times that all the water lines were capped off correctly, and water was functional in all parts of our house again. At the end of everything, the price we paid ended up being CHEAPER than the quoted price. When does that ever happen??
- Replaced our water heater and main water shut off valve at the front of our house (seems boring in comparison to the ruckus above).
- They were always on time, respectful, wore shoe covers. Dzenan even politely checked if it was alright before he headed upstairs to access the water heater.
- Pro tip: If you're doing a lot of work, sign up for the gold plan. It's worth it.

Don't waste your time with anyone else! After a year in this home, nightmare plumbing issues, and going through the home warranty for everything, we finally dropped the warranty and found Legacy Plumbing through Angie's List. Taylor came out to fix our issue and he was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We signed up for the plan they offer which waives any service fee and provides a discount on future services. With this plan, Taylor completed a full inspection and provided a thorough report with estimates and recommendations (in addition to fixing the issue which led to the visit in the first place). I learned more from Taylor in one visit than I have from the 10+ other plumbers who have made their way through the home previously. It's nice to finally have a reliable plumber!

Called Legacy Plumbing in to fix a broken tub drain. They were quick to respond via the estimates request system here. I was able to setup an appointment quickly. Their office staff was very accommodating, answered all my questions.
They arrived on time and gave plenty of notice before coming.
The plumber explained the work, checked a couple other things and finished quickly. He made a couple suggestions for work we may need done in the future but wasn't pushy at all.
All in all would call them again for additional work or would suggest to others. Great company.

Steve was prompt, professional, a conspicuous expert and communicative. He knew was he was doing and worked quickly. He offered helpful advice beyond the requested work. We had an exterior leak, but we weren't initially sure if it was in the flower bed or just under the house. Another company quoted us a flat fee that we thought seemed high but nearly paid since we are new to home ownership and plumbing issues.

Matthew came out awhile ago and I forget to leave a review! Anyway, noticed water leaking out from the bricks on the outside of the house when using the faucet. Not good. Matthew came out, looked at it, it needed a new pressure regulator thingy. So the hole my husband cut in the wall on the interior was not necessary. Mentioned that I've been unable to use the bathtub in the master bath for FIVE YEARS because no hot water comes out. He replaced the cartridge doohickey & explained why they stop working and cleaned the entire area. He's officially the tallest ginger hero in my life! (From a tiny ginger who loves her tub time and does not know the actual names of repair items!) Now to get the hole in the wall repaired.

I've had Lee out twice now and both have been stellar experiences. Not only is he honest and easy to communicate with, but he is super nice and a pleasure to work with. I like to do a lot of plumbing stuff myself, so it's easy to worry when you have to call someone that you'll be taken advantage of. Not the case with Lee and Legacy. It makes you feel good when he sizes something up, says it'll either cost $180 or double that depending on the scenario, and it turns out to be the lesser amount. He could have taken advantage of me and said we needed to cut away bricks and it'd cost double, but he didn't. That goes a long way with me. He doesn't seem to mind when I hang around while he works and I ask lots of questions. He's just a pleasure to work with - great guy. I'll always ask for Lee when I have to call Legacy for something. Their web site was excellent since it provided sample quotes for work requests they receive. I completely understand that every job is different but as a consumer I want an idea what projects your company can handle and a range of what a project costs.
- Five stars for posting the information on their web site and for providing accurate cost estimates for similar work.

Next my experience with scheduling an appointment was five stars. I described my project to the receptionist/scheduler and she understood the project I was talking about (two other plumbers I spoke with from other companies didn't appear to understand my project and they were plumbers !). She gave me a price range for the project. The appointment was scheduled in a timely manner. The receptionist/scheduler seemed informed. -Five stars

The plumber, Kelly M, came out when scheduled (I received a call about 30 min out saying when they would be there). Plumber was cordial, experienced, and provided me guidance on what would be the best way to do my project. He made suggestions that I hadn't thought of that really worked out well. He actually finished the project in about the time it took another company to provide me a quote (seriously I don't understand why it took two guys from another company almost 1.5 hours to provide a quote that was 2x what Legacy Plumbing took !) Kelly M, really seemed to care about my project. He gave me his card and told me to call him if I had questions afterward. - Five stars

Pricing - Legacy came in just a bit less than 2 other plumbing companies. A third company was actually 2x their price and wanted to come out twice to do the project in two steps. Legacy did it in one visit. - Five stars

I think it is important to put Legacy Plumbing in context with the 3 other plumbing companies I contacted first. I explained over the phone to the first plumbing company what I needed. They didn't sound like they understood what a shower panel was. They were scheduled to come out but never showed up, and never called. The second plumbing company sounded more knowledgeable, but took a week to provide me a quote,and another week to call me back after I said I wanted them to do the project. Contrast this with the scheduler from Legacy Plumbing who gave me an accurate quote over the phone ! The third plumbing company (from another 'project recommendation' company, was very professional and all, but provided me a quote that was 2x what Legacy charged.)

We needed a quick fix for a hot water line leak under our slab in the kitchen area. I spoke with a master plumber who then promptly set me with an appointment on Tuesday morning! He was upfront with the cost and let me know the fine details before the crew arrived. Canon and Tyler were excellent! Canon answered all our questions with knowledge, wisdom and respect. He made what could have been a scary experience, one that was actually fun to watch unfold! They went the extra mile to make sure the work area stayed clean and dry. Called Legacy Plumbing based on high ratings on Angie's List. Dispatcher told me someone would be out the following day, which was acceptable. The dispatcher called me later in the day to tell me someone was available in the next 30 minutes, and could I accept the appointment. I was able to have Kelly come to replace a couple of 20 year old valves, and was very pleased with the service. Kelly was very professional, and completed the job as requested and cleaned the work area once done. Kelly also assisted me with attaching the valves to the new sink we purchased. Kelly left me his card and told me to call his cell phone directly in case we run into any problems. This will be the only plumber I will call in the future. Highly recommended.

Last year I had Legacy come out to replace both hot water heaters of the house we had recently moved into. Their work was professional (Jose and Brandon) and they were straight forward with work to be done and pricing before they started. At that time Jose informed me of the Gold Plan benefits, and we signed up immediately. (No service fees for one year, 5% preferred service discount on all services, Priority booking, etc..) A few days later we had a leak in a main line at our rental houses and a leak under one of the houses. Again we called Legacy and they took care of the work professionally and efficiently. Even though the gold plan only applies to our personal residence, I feel we were given a fast appointment schedule due to being a past customer. Now we are a year later, and because of Covid, I just scheduled our Gold Plan Annual Inspection plus we wanted an ice maker line installed in our laundry room. Cole and Arrin were our techs for the day. Once again I am impressed with the service Legacy Plumbing gives their clients. The inspection uncovered I had two faucet cartridge leaks, and a couple of other minor issues that I can handle easily, plus the need to replace some shut off valves (issues I was already concerned with) that they tended to immediately. I forgot to mention, before coming to our home this afternoon, we also had them back at our rentals, different house this time, to repair a leak under the house. I definitely will renew my Gold Plan service and will continue to refer Legacy Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

Complete pros. We had a pipe issue underneath our kitchen sink. Cleanout leaked. It was finally determined that the builder had used the wrong type of PVC pipe and the fitting was not tight. We have twice (2017 & 2018) used the services of Legacy Plumbing and have not regretted our choice. Kelly McGinn was our technician both times. He and his apprentice were prompt, professional, honest, and helpful. Kelly offered us a very reasonable and competitive price to replace two hot water heaters and to have a couple of drains moved in two bathrooms. He also offered us tips on how to prevent water damage in our home. Kelly gave us his cell number and email in case we had any questions or concerns. The job was completed when he said it would be and for less money than was originally quoted. Wayne and Dakotah of Legacy Plumbing diagnosed and fixed a drainage leak right above the slab by my kitchen today. Apparently, the leak had been there since the house was built 16 years ago, but only made itself known this spring when water started to come from a weep-hole. When I had initially noticed it, I pulled the dishwasher out to try to see what was going on and ended up creating a second leak. They fixed that leak easily (for free) and set about finding the real problem. There was little wasted motion and they found the leak easily without destroying my kitchen. Once they located the leak, they removed some brick. They had to improvise a bit because of the builder's original mistake that had caused the leak, but Legacy cut out and replaced a PVC pipe and sealed it up and the leak was no more.

Plumbing services are not cheap, but Legacy's pricing is very reasonable and fair and all is quoted to you upfront. I greatly appreciate their efforts to work efficiently and at the same time to do a thorough job.

The two gentlemen who performed the work were very friendly and explained every step. Their attitude and willingness to explain thing made the process even seem like a bit of an adventure. I don't ever want to have a leak again, but it's not quite as painful when the plumbers explain what is going on.

I've always been leery of plumbing repair services and have had a couple of minor bad experiences, but I have my plumbers now. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing to you.

Excellent service and knowledge! This is the 3rd plumber that we called to fix the slab leaks ( wet ground outside) at my parents house. We dropped ALD because they were charging us for every detection and did not find the initial problem that we called them for and found something else to fix. We did not trust them to finish the job. After researching reviews - I called Legacy plumbing to finish the poor job started by another company. I spoke with Theron who explained everything and gave me a fair quote over the phone. Wayne came out to do the repair and he really is passionate about plumbing, doing the right and great job. He took care of all the cold water slab leak issues and the bathtub that didn't drain with honesty and integrity. Yesterday I was desperate to get someone to come to my house and fix a hot water heater issue. Family in town for the holidays and no hot water. Not a good situation.
I called Legacy plumbing and the lady who I spoke with was very nice and worked me into the schedule. She quoted me a price, which I thought was very fair. She gave me a window of time when the guys would show up.

The gentlemen called when they were on the way, exactly when the dispatcher said they would be there. The guys were very nice, explained the situation and had me back up and running writhing an hour. The price was actually cheaper than the quote as my system didn't require everything the dispatcher thought it might.

They saved our house! We are first time homeowners (we've only been in the house for 2 months) and we already found a leak. Wayne and Alex came right on time. I was soo thankful they were able to come the same day! I explained the situation and within 15mins found the source of the problem. Wayne explained to me the history of the construction that the homes in The Colony were built in. This company is amazing! I had no idea this type of customer service existed. Here's the Reader's Digest version: I've had a smell in my shower and kitchen sink for years. I've had two plumbers from other companies come to my house, tell me they smell nothing, take my money, and wave on their way out the door. From the time I called and scheduled for them to come out and take care of my leaking dishwasher very professional! I was given a scope of possible costs, including a coupon for a new customer to waive their usual $50 fee for coming out. Once I explained what was happening with the dishwasher they verbally gave me a range of estimates depending on what they found. They arrived at the top of the 2 hour block appointment as I asked them to, on time and called to let me know they were on their way ahead of time. Their plumber Jose talked me through the issue and gave me a run down of the repairs cost. He fixed everything, ran a cycle to show me all was working. Paid the agreed upon estimate.
He then asked if I would like to have him make an inspection of my hot water heater for free. I agreed and we found it is 4 years past the 6 year limit and he sent an email with estimate to replace in the future if I so choose.
I rarely write a review but this service experience was over the top!

We purchased a new washing machine and when my husband went to install it, the shut-off valve on the cold water broke. We called Legacy Plumbing and they were booked for the next couple of days, but put us on the cancellation list. The next day (one day before our appointment) we received a call that Logan was available to come out. Within a few hours we had the valve working again and the connection was moved out of the wall onto the spout to make it easier to change out in the future. I had a sewer line blockage on April 23 that was making sewer water come up through a floor drain in my house. This happened in Dec 2019 also and I had a different plumbing company come out to fix the issue. That plumber rushed through doing it and didn't really try to understand the plumbing set up at my 1978 townhouse. I contacted Legacy this time and they were able to get someone out quickly on April 24. Matt Tygart was the plumber that came out. He took the time to listen to me and understand the problem. He really wanted to figure out the plumbing set up at my townhouse and try to figure out what was causing the repeated blockage. Matt got right to work and found the blockage, cleaned it out and then put the camera back down the line to see what the issue could be, especially since I don't put anything down the sinks (grease, food, etc) or toilets (wipes, feminine products, etc) that could cause a blockage. Matt was able to find an anomaly in the piping and seemed to be where the blockage keeps occurring. Matt was very professional, explained the steps he was taking to find and clean the blockage. The cost of this was very reasonable I thought, under $300. I would absolutely recommend Legacy Plumbing and Matt!

Today we were blown away at the professionalism shown by Matthew and his apprentice Steven who discovered a leak in our outdoor faucet that had caused a sound in a bedroom wall. Fearing it might be a slab leak, we were nervous about the potential cost facing us, but after Matthew heard our initial explanation, he quickly targeted the outdoor faucet which had been acting strangely lately, not shutting off completely. He and Steven did their diagnostic testing and after ruling out any other potential issues, he declared that the problem was the outdoor faucet, so after giving us a quote on replacing any broken part of the faucet and having to cut through the stone and mortar wainscot to access the seal in the frost guard pipe, we agreed to the quote, and the men quickly went to work to repair the leak. They were terrific! Wish we could give them more than 5 stars! Their very pleasant attitudes were commendable! This review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the courtesy shown to us by owner Theron Young in explaining, over the phone, what to expect from the company and its representatives. Meghan, who manned the phone, was also pleasant and timely in confirming the appointment. Overall, a thoroughly professional organization! We will not hesitate to use Legacy Plumbing in the future! It's so refreshing to see a well-run and ethical company that hires and trains good employees.

We decided to move forward with the fix. (After speaking with our neighbors who had problems with this, we were definitely glad we did!)

From the time we received the quote from Daniel to the date the work was finished, everything was wonderful. The communication Legacy Plumbing's team had was exceptional - we never felt like we were in the dark on the project. We hit some bumps along the way due to the ground/plumbing of our house, but everything was handled professionally and our total quote ended up being spot on with the final bill.

I called around 12 pm because my hot water heater started leaking. They gave me an estimate over to phone and scheduled service between 2 and 5. They called at 1 to tell me that they are 30 minutes out. In about 3 hours Sam and Logan did a fantastic job on replacing my difficult hot water heater. Both men were very professional and courteous. I can't say enough positive things about Legacy plumbing! We had the unfortunate experience of having a slab leak and had quotes and advice on how to proceed from multiple companies and even a plumbing specialist that insurance sent out. Not a single company or even the so called specialist was able to come up with the solution offered to us by Wayne with Legacy. Wayne's solution was the best long term for our home as well as the least invasive, least destructive and most affordable option. Wayne took the time to really listen to us and understand what we wanted long term for our home as we don't plan on moving anytime soon. Wayne, Brandon, Mike, and Dzenan all worked together to get the job done as well as repair another problem Benjamin Franklin plumbing left us with. I will never call another plumbing company again. Wayne, Mike, Branden, & Dzenan are masters at their craft! And the icing on the cake was they cleaned everything up too and left no mess behind! I highly recommend Legacy and these guys!

I called them after another plumber told me I needed a $1200 water pressure system to handle the high water pressure he measured at my home. Long story short, Legacy came out and determined that while the pressure was a little high, I did not need to purchase and install anything. This company has a lot of integrity and professionalism.
You can see all of the five star reviews here, and that is why I called them. It paid off to take a look at Yelp first. They also were collecting canned goods for Frisco Family Services. I provided 10 items and they waived the service call fee. I had them do a few other minor items while they were here and paid a modest fee for the work.

We called Legacy Plumbing this morning because we saw water dripping from our closet. Enoch came out within a couple hours after we placed the call. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It turned out to be condensation from our dryer vent which is not a plumbing issue. He went above and beyond the call of duty and used a camera to stick in our exterior vent to find a bird's nest. He went ahead and removed the nest along with all the wet lint. We definitely will be calling Legacy Plumbing for our future needs.

Our last experience with another plumber was not satisfactory so we check reviews and called Legacy Plumbing instead. The woman who took my call was friendly and helpful. She asked a few questions to get a feel for the issue and then we agreed to a service time the next day.
Jose Cuellar arrived on time and wasted no time analyzing the problem, gave me an estimate and got to work. He explained what he was going to do and why. No bait and switch. If you want service with integrity, does not get any better than Legacy Plumbing!

Well the service was excellent from the time I called the company till the time the Repair Specialist (Daniel) left my house. Legacy Plumbing was able to get someone out to my house the same day I called for service. The Repair Specialist was very courteous and knowledgeable, he explained everything he did/checked and provided different options (quotes) and suggestions. I hardly ever write reviews, but with service so excellent (which is very hard to find these days) this was worth me letting other Yelpers know that Legacy Plumbing is legit and provides excellent customer service.

I am glad that other Yelpers suggested Legacy Plumbing, which is the way I found out about this company, and I hope others needing plumbing service will call Legacy Plumbing. Highly recommended!

Highly impressed - needed some repairs based on an inspection to sell my house. From the folks answering the phone to the technicians at the house, this company is professional, knows their stuff and extremely customer-oriented. I wish I knew about them years ago. They were efficient and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and options available - did NOT try to sell me a replacement when only tightening was needed. We had some hot water pressure problems in the master bathroom. We had another plumber come out previously and said it was a PVR issue and quoted us $1250 worth of repairs to replace it. Daniel came out the next day after reading notes on our issue. He immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it without even looking at our house yet. When he arrived, he said the PSI on our valve pressure was fine and it was the heat traps in our water heater that was our issue. Only cost us $212 and done in under an hour! He was AWESOME! I had a great experience with Legacy. I had 2 small projects, one of which could have become far worse had it not been fixed. Shelby and Jose were prompt courteous and friendly. When they had to open an external wall to fix my hose faucet I was worried about what this would do to the cost as well as to my wall. But in the end they stayed within the price they gave me for the work, and put my wall back together perfectly. You can barely tell it was opened. I appreciate the job these two did.

These guys came out a few weeks ago to fix an issue we had with the plumbing in our master bathroom. Normally we try to fix household problems ourselves, but this particular issue was beyond us, so we decided to hire a professional. Prior to this incident, we'd never used Legacy Plumbing before or any other plumbing company for that matter.

Needless to say, my husband and I were a little nervous. How much was this going to cost us? Was this guy going to jerk us around and say we needed this and that done, when all we wanted was our master bathroom to function properly again?

I am pleased to report that 1) having our problem fixed was MUCH cheaper than either of us had anticipated (more on that in a moment) and 2) Matt, the plumber who came out, did not try to sell or talk us into anything; he was only there to fix our issue.

Matt was very professional and courteous. After examining our plumbing problem, he told us what he thought might be the issue, and then he got right to work. He located the issue, and was able to get everything back to working order within an hour. Best of all, the sewer cleaning he had to do was 1/2 off that day (a special they run on Wednesdays), so our fairly inexpensive bill became even lower! Sweet! We were thrilled, to say the least.

So, our first experience with a plumbing company ended in success. I would definitely call Legacy Plumbing again in the future, and I would recommend them to anyone having a plumbing issue. Be sure to ask about their specials so you can save even more money; they offer other discounts on different days of the week.

Very pleased with prompt, on-time service confirmed with phone call. What started out as a broken lever in our existing toilet turned into a much better preforming replacement unit for an acceptable charge over the estimated cost of the repair. Pricing was clearly stated before the work was done. No last minute extras. In not much more than an hour, plumber, Steve Jones, took the new toilet off his truck and hauled off the original unit. Called Legacy Plumbing to fix shower faucet installations that our contractor could not. They completed work in 30 minutes, gave thorough information of what was wrong and how work was completed and what was not done because it would require wall tear out. Pricing was upfront, reasonable and consistent with what I was told on phone when I set up appointment. Additionally, they removed a water heater that had been replaced and needed to be hauled to the dump. This at no charge! who has ever heard of that?! I will call them again if needed.

Legacy Plumbing saved my marriage

Well, maybe not saved - as it wasn't really in jeopardy - but I sure got your attention! if anything, they definitely put me in my wife's good graces!

We have a new-ish home (1+ years old), and a variety of plumbing problems sprung up in rapid succession.

I tried researching how to fix the garbage disposal, but had nightmares of getting it apart and then not being able to put it back together. I tried fixing the toilet myself, even purchased one of those water saving devices (well, its leaking now); etc etc

Found these guys on Yelp, and the woman who answered was so helpful - quoting us over the phone for typical prices for their work. They are local and have an awesome focus on helping others (they helped build / donate to the park in Frisco), and every year they choose a volunteer opportunity to donate to.

We got a discount on it being our first call to them, the gentleman who came out called and asked very politely if it would be OK to come by early (who ever gets a service person our early!?) He was efficient, knowledgeable, clean, and overall very easy to work with. Didnt charge me to tighten the nut on the garbage disposal! and I felt the fees for the other work were fair.

I paid my bill on their iPad, had the invoice emailed to me, and I wish that every company I ever have to hire was as easy as this group was to work with!

Will definitely recommend to my neighbors, and will call them again (but hoping I don't have to!)

Sent a request for service on Sunday late afternoon and received a call back within 20 minutes! They advised me that my water heater was perhaps still under warranty and if it was Whirlpool or GE, I would save money by reaching out to the manufacturer directly. Sure enough, Whirlpool happened to be open until 5pm central time, and they are mailing out the part. I received a call from Legacy and after about 10 minutes I figured out the basis of the call... he wanted me to change my review. I don't dislike the people, I don't think they are dishonest people - I have no basis for that, but I told him we are on different planets if he can continue to justify $400 to fix a dripping faucet. Despite the lengthy written response from Legacy, and some errors - probably innocently made, I assure you, It was indeed going to be $400 if I didn't source the replacement parts myself (This is an American Standard part - not some obscure brand). The technician's van was parked in front of my house for one hour and forty-five minutes to diagnose an obvious problem and identify the replacement part. Something I could have done in 10 minutes and I am not a plumber....not even that good of a handyman, but I try. I'm not saying anything other than I disagree with much of what I was told yesterday in terms of why the cost was what it was. I have eaten the $185 and spent an inordinate amount of time typing these reviews simply because I believe that the idea of Yelp is a good one and that if money is no object for you, call Legacy Plumbing all day long and I'm sure they will do a fine job. They have good ratings ... they are obviously doing something right. It is just that my experience with them is different than these reviews and I was less than happy ... and $185 poorer for basically nothing. I can't just change my review because they want me too ... my experience isn't a positive one.

We own multiple rentals and are always in need of a plumber. I used Legacy Plumber several times in the past (out of laziness). Their repairs are good and prompt, but we were always so put off with their up-front pricing. They required a $50 charge to come out, then a charge to do the diagnostic at some $50 per quarter hour, then they'll give us an estimate for the repairs. We were looking at $200 already before they even touch anything. Eek, this kind of business practice gives me a headache. A pipe burst in one rental house and the entire first floor got flooded. I needed a plumber right away. Even though I was their repeat customer, they gave me the same up-front speech. I called Key Plumbing and got my repairs done right away without all that non-nonsense pricing. I recommend 24-Hour Key Plumbing.

Will not be calling them again. It was nice that my call was answered right away and a plumber called me back quickly to discuss our plumbing issue. He asked me to describe the leak, and guessed that it may be a slab leak. He gave me the approximate cost of a repair, which I indicated I would have to relay to my mother as it is her home. As it was late in the day I knew they wouldn't be available today, but he said they couldn't come out for two days, even though I stated we have wet carpet and the water had to be turned off to the house. I told him I'd like to at least schedule a service call to detect the leak and get a thorough estimate, to which he replied that since they commit to their customers, we would have to commit to them prior to setting up the appointment. Last I checked, something that expensive wasn't something you commit to before getting at least a few estimates in hand. The work is needed to be sure, but it isn't desperate enough to commit to the first place that calls back.

We had a hidden slow water leak upstairs that we didn't realize until we started seeing some water marks on the ceiling downstairs. I called Legacy and they clearly explained the fees for coming out and looking for the leak, and then sent someone out within a day. When Jose arrived (promptly) and looked at the situation he explained the options for tracking down the leak and those costs. He found it quickly at the base of the toilet after removing it, he made the repairs, and he set everything up so the toilet and flange was ready to be reinstalled after we got the water-damaged subfloor replaced. Jose let me know throughout the process what our options were, explained what he'd suggest, and always let me know the cost of each route. There was no pressure and with his explanations of the costs there weren't any surprises with the bill at the end. Jose seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. In addition to having him come back to reinstall the toilet once the floor's repaired, I went ahead and had him quote me a couple other minor things around the house we wanted done. On one of those things he explained another way for me to easily remedy most of the problem myself instead of trying to get another job and more money out of it. Although they're not the cheapest I'd much rather pay a few dollars extra for the honesty, transparency, and very competent work, and I'd highly recommend them.

Another five-star review for this excellent company. I had Canon and Lance out today to repair some faucets. They were prompt, very courteous, and even kind to my dog and cat. They fixed what needed fixing with absolutely no attempt at an upsell or any you need this too. While one of them went to buy parts, the other fixed my sink sprayer at no charge and gave practical advice about other plumbing work I am considering having done. The work was done quickly and well, and they were very careful not to leave a mess. They charged me less than they should have. Their focus was completely on making sure that I had the best possible experience and was completely satisfied.
I have never had such an easy, positive experience with a plumber. I will never use another company and I will recommend Legacy to everyone I know.

Not sure where to even begin this review as from the moment I called to inquire about the water sound in my wall to the moment the project was finished, it was a great experience. Upon first calling, my call was returned by the owner, Theron Young. He actually asked me a series of questions on what the sound could be in an effort to try and save me money from a service call. Once he thought it may be a slab leak, he helped schedule the appointment. Canon and Alex came to the house to conduct some testing and concluded it was indeed a slab leak. Something no homeowner really wants to hear, however these two professionals assured me they could handle the job and stated they would have me up and running in no time. My wife and I were leaving town the next day so they advised me to leave the water turned off. We scheduled them to come back and fix the leak upon our return. They were prompt, extremely professional and kept me informed with each step they took. Now here's what was so amazing; these two men were so courteous, helpful in explaining things, cleaned up after themselves and were so friendly - I felt like I had known them for years. Having been a homeowner for over 35 years, I have had several companies and service providers in and out of my homes. Never have I experienced such a high I Care factor than from Canon and Alex. I even joined their Gold program as I want these guys back to ensure other areas of my plumbing is properly maintained. I could write a lot more, but do yourself a favor and call this company for any plumbing need. We count ourselves fortunate to have selected Legacy Plumbing for our serve. Lee, our plumber, called to advise when he was going to arrive, and was there at that time. He was very professional and friendly, and willing to answer questions that we had--outside of the project he was doing. He installed a new gas range for us, with absolutely no issues of not having the right items, or this is not going to work, or ANY complaints about the job at all. He got the range installed promptly, while explaining and answering questions.

We had another project we had questions about, he looked at it, gave options and is working up a quote on that project. Haven't received that quote yet so will give only 4 stars at this time.

We will definitely call Legacy Plumbing for any future work that we may need to have done, and would give good recommendations for the service we received.

I had to have the toilet flange fixed. The plumbers my warranty company sent quoted me $1500 for having the whole thing replaced. Legacy was able to fix everything for a fraction of the cost. Everything is in working order and he even cleaned the floor. My plumber, Matt, was professional and very courteous.

Legacy Plumbing is the company to call when you have plumbing issues. I called them to fix a blocked toilet and a second running toilet based on reviews I saw online here. I was very impressed with their service technician (Lee) - he was professional, spoke to me about what the problems were, fixed both toilets in less than 45 minutes and CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS DONE. Who does that? He gave me advice on a water pressure issue that we were having and that two previous plumbing companies had no clue on how to fix. My wife asked me to call him back to fix that. Again, Lee was dispatched, called to say he was on his way, was professional and was done in about 40 minutes.

They are not the cheapest but I didn't care about that; the problems were fixed and the service was great. I will definitely use them again.

Awesome service from Legacy Plumbing! After two trips by another local plumber, problems were still not fixed. Called Legacy after seeing great reviews. These folks were great. I clogged up my sink while working on Thanksgiving dishes. When I called I spoke with Karnisha who was so awesome and helpful. She worked with me to try to save me money and time by walking through some steps that could help me fix the problem myself. Unfortunately my issue was a bigger problem but they were able to come out quickly and get my problem resolved. Kelly and his other worker (sorry I forgot your name) were nice and friendly and provided me with a lot of information to prevent the problem in the future. Thank you for coming out and giving me my sink back.

Sound like super nice folks. I talked to Amber today but they will not work anything south of 635. So If you are looking for help with plumbing but are on the bad side of the tracks like I am... search elsewhere. Only 4 stars cause they would not come 1 street south of 635 (Literally about 50 feet).

These guys are the BEST. I contacted them through their website after reading reviews, and Theron replied with a quote for repairing our guest bathroom shower valve, which I assumed needed a new cartridge. The quote was low enough that I decided not to tackle it myself, and called them to schedule. They said they could be out that day; I ended up scheduling for the following day so I could arrange to be off work for several hours, figuring that, like a lot of home repair businesses, I would be waiting on the repairman to show up for hours.

So you can imagine my surprise when I pulled up to my house and saw their truck parked outside my house a few minutes prior to the 3 to 6 window Theron had quoted me on the phone. The plumber, Matt, is as friendly and professional a person as you'll ever meet. He completed the job within 30 minutes, and the hot water now works even better than it did before it stopped working.

But wait, it gets better... Because I was a first time customer, they waived the $50 service fee, and the repair itself ended up cheaper than quoted. Needless to say, I was VERY glad I decided to call Legacy instead of doing it myself. It's rare that I find a repair business that exceeds expectations in every way, and Legacy certainly does. Call Legacy Plumbing and handled by Kris. She is very nice and professional in scheduling the appointment and giving us the price quote. Then Wayne and Schuyler came right on time and explain the issue and answer all of my questions very thorough and patiently. Their quality of work is top notch. After work, they test their work, clean the area really good, perform a water pressure check, and explain all of them to me. On top of that, they also did above and beyond by replacing the all of the rusty parts in the bathtub. I am really glad to call this company and really happy with the overall experience that I have with Kris, Wayne, and Schuyler. Their excellence in their works should be the golden standard for all of the plumber.

I've used Yelp as a trusted resource for quite a while now, so I feel compelled to write to let folks know that, in spite of a positive Yelp rating (off a handful of reviews), my experience with Legacy Plumbing was NOT GOOD at all.
Based on the Yelp reviews, I contacted Legacy about a few small plumbing projects that I needed done. The technician who came to my house gave me such an incredibly strong and brazen sales job, and was that awful type of salesman nice, I was appalled.

The technician (sales guy) quickly discussed what I had called about, but then in a completely unrelated discussion (i.e. none of my needs/projects would point to a water heater issue), began to insist that I needed a hot water heater. He then pulled out every trick in the slimy salesguy book...First, he told me that his company had recently installed water heaters for several of my neighbors (HIGHLY unlikely...I'm not exactly local to his company and had never, ever seen a truck in the area). He also tried scare tactics by telling me that if I didn't replace water heater (while it is still working, mind you) it could cause thousands of dollars of damage when it breaks (probably possible, but I simply don't replace big-ticket items until they need it...). This guy was so brazen that, after mentioning that something (small) did not need an expensive fix, he said...See, you can trust me, because if I was just trying to sell you I would have told you that it would be expensive. And then he brings up the water heater.....Short of it is, either they're training these guys on slimy sales techniques (and this one hadn't quite mastered them), or they're paying commission (especially on water heaters?), or this guy is a loose canon. In any event I DO NOT RECOMMEND LEGACY PLUMBING...My advice is to run in the other direction!!!

We had a PRV that needed to be replaced and had talked to several plumbers and got the run around on schedule and pricing. Legacy Plumbing was AWESOME from scheduling the appointment to completing the job. They were on time, extremely thorough, and patient with my lay man's questions. We ended up updating out water heater because they were not a hard sell but listened to my needs and got me what I wanted. Thanks Doug! This company is top notch. They are professional, trustworthy, and reliable. They arrive on time (and quickly), friendly from the initial phone call to the tech that comes to do the work. Our homeowners insurance does not use them, they use a company that we will never, ever use again, and whenever there is a plumbing issue at the house, we always choose to just pay out of pocket for Legacy. They are great! They may not be the cheapest provider, but you definitely get what you pay for! They even tightened up loose connections around the bathroom at the faucet, etc when they got done fixing the main issue. We recommend Legacy!

I have been doing all the plumbing in my house because I have only heard horror stories from friends and family about their plumbing experiences; dishonesty, shoddy work, etc. However, I had a plumbing problem that I tried to repair but it was not successful. Reluctantly, I called Legacy Plumbing. Wow! Was I surprised! Wayne, the plumber, was honest, did a great job, and patiently explained exactly what he was going to do. He gave me an itemized list of charges, explained my options and how I could save some money. I was going to call the mold crew out to my house for thousands of dollars because of a funny smell in my house. However, Wayne, explained that if you have unused plumbing in your house, then something called a pea trap will dry out. This will cause your neighbor's sewage gasses to vent into your house. You must use your water fixtures at least every other day to prevent the pea traps from drying out. I thought that the funny smell was mold, but I was wrong. After I let some water into the unused water fixtures, the smell went away. He was right! This easily saved me thousands of dollars in mold cleanup. I felt like that what he did for me was worth a lot more than what he charged me, so I offered him a tip. Ever the gentleman, Wayne refused it and said that doing an honest day's work for a fair wage helping others out is reward enough. For honesty and excellent work, call Legacy Plumbing.

I had a few plumbing problems going on: one was a short hot water life (water would start getting cool after a few minutes in the shower), a dead recirculating pump and a couple of fixtures (sink faucet and dishwasher) were so plugged with sediment that they were unusable. When I called Legacy the first thing they offered was to help me fix the problems (as much as possible) over the phone for no charge. I preferred they handle the work so they sent one of their plumbers - Doug. He started under the kitchen sink and quickly determined that the 13-year old valves were not working and replaced them. At that point I thought he would work on unplugging the faucet and dishwasher but I was wrong. He stopped to explain to me that the cost of finding the sediment in the faucet and dishwasher would possibly be more than the cost of replacing them. Since the dishwasher and faucet were so old we elected to not have Doug chase down the sediment plugging them. I handled that part myself.

When Doug went to inspect the recirculating pump he found that the original installation was backwards. So while the pump has been moving water for 13 years it's been doing so in the wrong direction. This also explained why we were getting so much debris in the hot water lines - it was pulling hot water off the bottom of the tank instead of the top. He quoted a price to replace the recirculating pump and plumb it the right way and he got busy on the work.

After he was finished everything worked perfectly. I have working valves under the sink, no sediment in the lines and the hot water lasts forever. I appreciate the fact that Legacy was willing to help me over the phone (for free) and that Doug explained, prior to working on them, that having him fix the dishwasher and faucet may cost more than replacing them. I would not hesitate to call Legacy for any future plumbing needs.

Terrible service. The lady at the office was rude and short with me. The plumbers were 2 hours late and they were rude to me when I complained to them about being late. They did not even fix the problem..said another truck would come by later..terrible company!!

I called Legacy plumbing yesterday morning. The woman who answered the phone (Kamisha?) was very helpful. She gave me fixed price estimates with ranges for variables and said they could come out tomorrow. She asked if I would like to be on the cancellation list to come sooner and I said yes. Later that afternoon I received a call from her asking if they could come today and I was thrilled. Sam DeAngelis arrived at my house right on time with his booties on to protect my floors. Sam was polite, pleasant and very good at this job. We asked Sam to clear a clog in the drain and remove an old toilet and install the new one. After clearing the clog, Sam cameraed the pipe ( at no extra charge, in my experience most companies charge extra for this) and told us there was no damage in our old cast iron pipe. While he was completing the work, I asked Sam to think about a long standing problem we have had with vibration in our pipes. He asked me several additional questions and we discussed what had been tried in the past. He made a suggestion that it is probably the exapansion tank on the hot water heater causing the problem. He also checked our PRV and the water pressure as well as the expansion tank at no extra charge in an effort to confirm the problem. I asked him to install a new expansion tank ( an inexpensive fix) and he was not able to complete the task that day. He will be back later this week with no extra trip charge. The whole time Sam was patient and spoke respectfully and clearly, answering all my questions. In the past I have had plumbers assume that I would not be able to understand and therefore not really explain what was going on. Legacy plumbing and Sam are my kind of plumbers!

Before calling a plumber, I first researched all of the most rated and highly reviewed plumbers on Yelp. I went to each site and filled out their contact form. Legacy was he ONLY ONE to contact me, and they contacted me that afternoon after 5 o'clock. I told the lady from Legacy, Ashley, the problems that I had explained on the web form. She informed me that she would speak with the master plumber and contact me back. The problems I needed addressed were: reseal toilet - water was coming up from underneath sometimes when it was flushed, the bathroom sink would leak when it drained from behind the wall - I could see the soap suds coming from the wall, and when I moved a picture on the opposite side of the wall, I could see bubbling in the paint.

She called me back and quoted up to and/or around $555 for the work I had described, but they wouldn't know until they got there to look at the pipes. She was very up front about everything, and set my expectations well. I knew going into this that there could have been more work needed, and I appreciated her honesty. She booked us for 12:30 the next Friday at my request (2 days later).

On Friday Wayne and Lee called to let me know they were ahead of schedule at 10:30am, and that they were on their way to my house - which was perfect for me - my mother was home. I was at work (but I could be there in 20 mins if necessary), so Wayne told me he would take a look at everything and call me when I was really needed to go over any additional work (this was incredibly convenient for me!). He informed me that he would have to open the wall, and let me know beforehand they do not repair drywall (which I understood over the phone with Ashley). He reviewed everything and called me back to let me know there was water leaking from the sink (which I knew), but there was also water leaking from the toilet under the house, which I feared. Also, whoever previously sealed the toilet did it wrong, and they pipe had cracked, so it wasn't a standard reseal - the pipe would have to be replaced. The additional cost ended up being around $300 extra than what was quoted over the phone, but I had no idea the scope of the work needed to be done. Also, Wayne offered to take photos under the house with my camera to show the water damage.

He also made recommendations for replacing the toilet b/c ours had parts rusting on the inside, and it would probably cost more in labor and parts to replace it than it would to replace the whole toilet later on. He even offered to follow me to Home Depot, and put it on the truck, and install it, with no additional service cost (HOW FREAKIN' COOL IS THAT?!?).

The new toilet has been in for about a week now, and we've had no problems. The drain in the sink is working better than it ever has before, and there is no water coming through the floor or wall. Wayne and Lee were both very nice, professional guys, and I've already recommended Legacy Plumbing to a friend at work. I felt very comfortable with them in my home, and I did not feel pressured into getting additional services, or felt like they recommended any unnecessary work. They explained everything to me and encouraged me to ask questions if I didn't understand any of the work they were doing. They sat plastics down before going under the house, and they cleaned up the area where they had to cut out dry wall. I am extremely happy with the service from Legacy Plumbing, and I would HIGHLY recommend using them.
