Mr. Electric is one of the best services that I have used when it came down to my electrical needs.  As of last September of 2018, they helped me out with issues that dealt with the wiring and configuration of an electrical box in my attic. I was amazed by their level of professionalism and attention to detail as a customer when it came down to explaining their process as too how they would handle my situation.  

They take their time when it came down to addressing my concerns and were easy to deal with.  If you are in need of electrical repair than look no further than Mr. Electric!

These guys are great! Efficient, polite and very knowledgeable. Had to get in the attic twice and it was hot. Travis was fantastic and I highly recommend Mr Electric for all your electrical needs.

Ask them to disconnect an outside wire not in use. They did it and disconnect the hot water heater too. Charged to come back out and reconnect the water heater. Will not use them again and will never recommend them to anyone.

I've used Mr. Electric twice so far. Their quotes were competitive with others I had received (lower!). The electrician assigned, Brad, was always on time and ready for the job. He seemed knowledgeable of his craft and he was very neat with any holes that were made to run new cable, which will make the sheetrock repair job easier. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future!

I  should read  yelp  reviews before i  hired them !!

i  found them on Home adviser  ,   witch i  assume most of them  reviews  was by them  friends  or  fake ones.

BE AWARE ! ! ! !

Rip Off !!!   with  out a  doubt  
i  hired  them on Monday  12/17/2018  ,   the main reason i hired them,  i just moved to a new home,  and i want them to  check the electric  box.    and see if i need a new one or,    the only  bad things  was  rust cables  and  at  one  plug,  the owner before have  2  cables ,   witch i know its  wrong .   but i want  it  the electric  company to  chance the wires that have a rust on.   and make sure its all safe .   also, on the way, i  told the guy if he  can  change one of the  socet on the wall  wasn't  good.  

so  what he did?   change a socket  ,  and  he open the cable box,    did nothing, just  toke the  wire out and  didnt change any of  the  rust one.  and  20 min after,  told me he  giving me a deal  350$     ridicules  !!!!!!  Ripped  off, i  didnt have a choice, i  flew  that  day  back to SF.   so i had to  fix it.  

any way,  i  would never use them again  ever.

From the initial inquiry to this company to the completed job by Pedro, they were nothing but professional. The quotes given were reasonable and the information they gave us on a few other issues we had was reassuring. The actual job was done by Pedro. He was professional and as quick as the job would let him be! The clean up after the job was excellent and very much appreciated. We will definitely be using them for other projects we have in the future.

UPDATE: I've used Mr. Electric of Grand Prairie before and was pleased with promptness and ability to fix an unexpected electrical issue. So that's why I used them again for an installation. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON MATERIALS COSTS! Because this company will rip you off. I made the mistake of believing the electrician when he told me that the materials were expensive hence why it cost nearly $200 per to install 4 lights. I thought this was a comparable deal (The other quotes I received were to install traditional recessed lighting) until I realized that it wasn't a traditional recess light that would have required cutting a hole in the ceiling, but an alternative that only requires you remove an existing light fixture, place a bracket (that comes with the light) and connect the wiring. By the time I realized I was being ripped off, the lights were already installed. I spent $750 on lights that cost $25 a piece and that took less than 10 minutes to install. I'm writing this review so that you too won't make the same mistake I did.

Stay away if you want to keep your money!! They quoted me 1650.00 for a job where 3 others quoted between 500.00 and 800.00.  I don't know if they quoted so high because they didn't want the job or just trying to rip people off.  Definitely will not be calling them back for anything

Will never use this service.  Found them through Home Adviser and was contacted promptly.  Set an appointment for after 3 pm because I don't get home from work until then.  Was home by 3 and waited, and waited.  I finally called around 5 pm to be told the electrician was held up on another job and would call me when he was on his way.  Having not heard from anyone by 7 pm, I called and canceled the appointment.  If a company cannot keep an appointment, then someone should have called to reschedule.

My light switch had an extra wire so I called Mr. Electric.  The technician came out & removed the other 3 wires from where I had them even though the 4th was the only one in question.  When I said over $300 was too expensive, he did not re-connect anything & left.  3/4 of the wires look exactly the same.  The company emailed me that this was my fault after I told them what happened.

I just cannot believe it!! If I could give TEN STARS I would - wow!!
These folks are the most honest and reliable tradesmen I have come across in my life (no exaggeration. Seriously.).

After reading a few other Yelp reviews with no-so-great things to say about Milestone Electric I decided to call the other folks mentioned in that previous review. So I called 'Electrician on Call' and Mr. Electric this morning at 7:15AM. Since no one answered the phone I had to leave a message for Electrician on Call (which said someone would call within 2 hours - I am STILL waiting and it now noon). On the other hand, Mr. Electric had a live person answer the phone who scheduled an appointment for 2pm today. Around 10AM the folks called and asked if I was available (I was), since they were in the neighborhood so they swung by and quickly diagnosed the two issues I had:

1. A switch on a dimmer, controlling 6 canned lights, gets very hot to the touch. SOLUTION: change the wattage on the bulbs and it will be taken care. I did and it was!! NO CHARGE.

2. We have a light fixture that was wired incorrectly and was tricky - Gary spent 20 minutes diagnosing the problem, fixing it and CLEANED UP the dust and debris that came from the outlet. Again, NO CHARGE! Simple fix, m'am,

Unbelievable!!! You won't go wrong with these folks! I am more than thrilled and will use them again in the future, refer them and spread the word.

7/3/18: Was called by Mr. Electric by referral from Home Depot for installation help. Set up an appt with Grand Prairie office for the next business day.  A female called me 2 hours before appt telling me the guy will not be able to make it & asked me to reschedule.  No thanks, plenty of options available for this type of service.  Waste of time.

I would recommend using another company. To perform a diagnostic test costs $350. The test took less then 5 minutes. Over priced services.

These folks (at Mr. Electric) are GREAT! I did not know which electrician to call - there are so many to choose from when searching. The only company that came to mind was Milestone (because of their TV ads), so I did a YELP search - honestly, I was expecting to just dial their number and have them come out, but after reading some of the comments, I changed my mind and continued my YELP search. I came across Mr. Electric and even though there was only 1 review (which made me a little skeptical), I decided to call. I was very happy to speak with Sara - she was polite, efficient and I would soon learn she was a family member. I asked plenty of questions regarding their service and what to expect - Sara explained the process with confidence and made me feel like I was in good hands with their company.

Tommy was the technician who came to my house - he was polite and respectful of my home. After describing my possible electrical issue, he told me that I need not worry about any electrical problems, the volt meter reading proved that all was well and that there would not be any charge for his service. He & I had just spent 45 minutes analyzing the issue and he wasn't going to charge me! All he asked was that I think of their company the next time I needed service. He was so nice, so knowledgeable and patient ... I just couldn't let him leave without charging me something. He said it was not necessary, but I actually talked him in to giving me an invoice. I happily paid a nominal fee for what I call piece of mind. I will definitely call this company the next time I need an electrician. I like dealing with honest folks running a family business. BTW, Tommy is not part of the family, which makes the way he took care of me that much more impressive. We need more family businesses like this!

Had a terrible experience with this company. They set time for 9 to 11 a m. Time came and went and they never showed up. Kept checking my phone, since i had other things to do! At 10 59 i called only to nonchalantly be informed that they would be happy to reschedule since they did not have enough techs to come out and do my job! I was upset since i did not get a phone call at all! Person stated that an email was sent out. Why an email was form of advising i dont know since i dont keep my face in front of a pc  as i do a phone?? Checked email and email was sent at 11 18, 18 minutes after the schedule end time of 11. No mention of not enough techs just that they could not keep appt, and would be happy to reschedule. NO big deal to me. AS FOR ME wish i could repeat what i told them in in this review.....not a very happy camper as all this other formal sugary reviews....not at all happy and dont have a problem letting world know about it!DO NOT USE. From their employee reviews  seems it makes sense why they may have had shortage of techs...they dont value the ones they have to keep them there
