a plumbing emergency?
Stan will clean your pipes.
I have used Main Man plumbing service many times over the years for cleaning tree roots from sewer lines, running new water lines, replacing hot water tanks, basically, all sorts of plumbing emergencies. Stan, a master plumber who I believe is the owner, is always punctual, professional, reasonably priced. I can't say much more than when you need a plumber -be it a leaky faucet or a major disaster, I'd give Main Man plumbing a call.
Sorry Mr. Rooter, (who wanted to charge me $500 to snake a sewer line) And as for Roto-Rooter, who spams this site constantly, you are not winning over anyone with your pathetic attempts to use this site for advertising.
Stan The Man is the way to go. Honest, clean work, always on time.
Carry on.

Great quality work! Easy to work with, clean, neat and professional.
Had my kitchen remodeled a few years back and have had all my plumbing repairs completed by this company. Prices are great, especially considering the quality and individual attention.
Always get back to me in a timely manner. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Had a strange leak. John showed up and diagnosed it. It wasn't easy to diagnose but he stuck with it. Had to cut wall to verify and he was right on the mark. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I thought it was the shower. He said it was the sink drain. He was right

Our home suffered a number of water issues due to the 'bomb cyclone' weather event. Bob McHugh was incredibly responsive to my panicked call on 12/26 when many other companies weren't open and dispatched a team to address a broken water pipe. Bob also made a call to a water mitigation company to assist with cleanup. They came back a couple days later to address further water issues. Bob and his team are top notch, we have used them for numerous other projects and highly recommend as a trusted plumbing company.

wow what a great experience! I Cant say ive ever said that dealing with ANY service guy of any form! I had a clogged toilet due to my girlfriend flushing left over roast down it! anyways I gave plumb nation a call, and Andy (the owner) gave me a rough estimate and as soon as I agreed he must have been on his way because he was there within an hour and had it fixed very quickly! He was very friendly and informative! I would give 6 stars if I could!

I am extremely happy with the service I received from VIP Plumbing - both the office and the technician. When I contacted them to schedule some service, they were flexible in meeting the constraints of my schedule. When my schedule opened up on the appointment day, I let VIP Plumbing know that if the technician was available earlier, he was welcome to come at any time. I received a call about 30 minutes later that a technician would be arriving very soon. The technician, Brian, was knowledgeable and friendly. He looked at the problem, assessed a solution and gave me a quote very quickly. I authorized the work and Brian went straightaway to finish the job. He communicated to me what the issue was and showed me the completed work. He was very detailed at reviewing the work to make sure there were no issues and everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend Brian and VIP Plumbing.

Anthony took the time to research my issue and called me back with the information that I would need to get the work done for free through the manufacturer. I was desperate to get my refrigerator back up and running so I would have paid for the service. He not only saved me the cost of his service call, but also gave me the correct guidance to have it fixed for free by the manufacturer. I received honest, top notch customer service and won't go anywhere else for service. Thank you Anthony!

I recently bought a condo in Shaker Heights and needed to get the ductless air conditioning system tuned up. According to the service tag attached to the unit, Verne and Ellsworth Hann had last serviced it in 2018. This was now 2021. There was no rush as this was a tune-up, but I was able to get an appointment rather quickly--within 3 days of my call. Not bad.
The company kept me updated via text, reminding me of the date and time of my service call. On the day of the appointment, I received a text stating the technician was on his way and sure enough, he arrived within 20 minutes.
Joe was my service technician. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable. Part of the unit was on the roof of a 90 year old 5-story building. Joe climbed up through the narrow opening and on to the roof to check out the unit. It turned out that it needed some coolant. He told me what the process involved and, because the coolant was the more expensive kind, (I have an older system that contained the old coolant which is costly), he told me what the minimum and maximum cost would be based on how much coolant I might need. He trekked back down to his vehicle, climbed the ladder back to the roof of the 5 -story building with the cylinder of coolant, added it to the unit, finished testing on both the roof and inside unit and completed the service call in about an hour. I am very pleased with the technician, and the company. No drama, no upcharges, no muss, no fuss. It's nice to get an experienced technician who knows what they're doing. Job well done.

A couple of my neighbors recommended Litt's so I felt pretty good about having them redo my bathroom.
They were professional while the project was getting started. They gave us reasonable options (cabinets, sink, colors, etc.). The prices were OK.
I was initially happy with the work that Litt's did. Then the shower surround started leaking. The walls were installed incorrectly. We found this out several months after the job was finished. Unfortunately, since I didn't have another bathroom available at the time, the repair had to wait. Aaarrgghh!
When Litt's finally did come to fix the problem, they chipped the shower surround and the grab bars. We complained because the guy doing the drywall was doing a terrible job, so they sent out another, more conscientious, worker. He finished the job and we are showering once again.
I have a feeling that if Litt's does the job right the first time, everything will be fine. If anything goes wrong, bad things may happen. Use caution.

If a business has only one review and it's a five-star, you might wonder whether the company (and the reviewer) are legit. Yes, this is a good company-- Allen is awful at sales and marketing.
Plumbing, he's terrific at.
I've used him twice. The first call was when the kitchen sink clogged. I tried plunging it-- and the pipes separated. I started calling vendors with high reviews at 8:30 and left messages.
At around 11:30, after nobody responded, I started checking listings I'd passed on. Parsons Plumbing (which didn't have any reviews) also didn't have a website. But it DID have a Facebook page. The latest post was We just got the logo painted on the truck!, which suggested he was new.
He had a couple of videos of work-- they seemed fine. Called the number and heard Hi, this is Allen. So I got his cell. Told him the problem-- also mentioned I had a sump pump in the basement that wasn't working.
Yeah, I can come out there today. Give me a couple of hours.
He was about 20 minutes late. But he was there same day. If you've dealt with plumbers, you know how rare that is. Also, the company is located in Willowick (Lake County) and I live on the southwest corner of Cuyahoga-- five minutes from both Lorain and Medina. Most vendors aren't willing to drive that far.
He and Ryan snaked the drain, and then had to figure out how to reconstruct it. (The plumbing, like a lot of things in the house, had been 'improved' by the previous homeowner, who was a contractor). It took some futzing with a Sawzall and some experimentation, but they figured that out.
Onto the basement. Decided they needed to replace the check (backflow) valve. They check the truck; turns out they'd used all the ones in the truck and forgotten to restock. Had to go to a store to get one. (While they were gone, I ran the dishwasher on rinse to see if they got the sink right. Yup.)
When was the last time you had the tank pumped? About three months ago. OK, this shouldn't be too bad. Visions of my 1,000-gallon septic tank emptying into the basement filled my head, but they needed only two buckets.
They charged about what other places would charge for two hours work. Very good, for a two-man, same-day visit.
Last week, I tried to take a shower and got cold water. The internet explained it was probably a bad thermocouple-- an easy fix for a homeowner. I decided to call Allen anyway. I called at 3:30. Told him I think me he could be out there the next day at 12:30 and asked me to text him some photos.
Next morning he texts me: I'm gonna be honest. If the tank is 12 years old, you might really want to consider replacing the tank, rather than throw money at it.
My first response was to say let me think about it. He replied I'll come out and fix the thermocouple if you really want, but I think you'd be better off replacing the tank.
I checked. Turned out 8-12 years is normal lifecycle. He gave me a flat price that was about $200 more than I'd paid in 2008.
He had to go buy a model that would fit my home, so it delayed the visit a day. But he was out next afternoon and got it done. Had to 'borrow' a wire hanger to clear a clog in the drain line; the tank was so filled with sediment that it took 35 minutes to drain. Also, he and Ryan had to muscle the tank out, because they forgot to load the dolly on the truck that morning. But he got it done.
Because I didn't recognize the brand name of the unit he used, and I noticed their warranty was six years (my old one had been 12), I quizzed Allen about both things. He explained the issues to my satisfaction. I checked the internet after he left-- and it turned out he was correct.
I'm going into the details (including the warts) to make it clear that it's a new company, with all that entails. Allen had been working for two large vendors for about a decade before he decided to strike out in 2018 (the year the business was founded is in its gmail address).
Yes, an established firm with 10 crews and a warehouse would do things differently. (There would have been a video on why Bradford-White water heaters are best). But those companies don't always return your calls. They often turn jobs down because they're busy. They usually don't get out same-day or next business day. And they don't like to answer questions. Not honestly, at least.
When you call Parsons Plumbing, you talk to the owner. He comes out on every job. He doesn't BS-- and he answers dumb questions (electrical and carpentry I know; plumbing I'm still hopeless on) patiently.
I've used half a dozen plumbers since I bought this house: some retired, others went under, others ripped me off or were inept. Parsons Plumbing will (I hope) be the last plumber I ever use.

I had been dealing with another HVAC contractor for years and it was a nightmare. Recently I had a boiler leak in my home and this different company not only failed to repair the issue they weren't truthful in that they actually caused the leak! Frustrated I contacted Geisel. Bryon, their boiler expert, came the following day and not only quickly diagnosed the issue he explained in detail the problem. Bryon was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable! I learned more about my boiler and it's maintenance in one day from Bryon than I'd ever learned from the previous other company! I was shocked at the price not because it was exorbitant but because it was so reasonable! I had been used to this other company gouging their prices. I couldn't be happier with Geisel and in one day they've earned not only my business but my trust as well!!

Recently my water stopped running. This near the end of a long cold snap in the winter. So I called the water department and they said my line is frozen underground. The technician from the city said it might be on their side or mine, but he was not allowed to do any more. I had to call a plumber, so I called this outfit. Now consider the main line is 3-8 feet underground. I just wanted to know if they had the equipment to thaw the line. The plumber tells me he needs to charge me just to look at the line. There is nothing he can even see! I had no water pressure, the line is empty, and the main is underground. So I called a competitor, who did NOT charge me just to come out. This guy is the type that will find a way to charge $500, no matter if he fixes it or not.

We were made to use these plumbers from our home insurance to fix 3 low pressure faucets. 2 technicians came. One technician fixed the 2 faucets with no issue. However the other technician Kevin in trying to asses the low pressure issue with the kitchen faucet proceeded to snap and break off the pull-out spray handle using Channellock type pliers. If that was not enough he then allowed the spray hose to fall back into the main unit spout where it became stuck. He then spent 30 minutes using needle nose pliers and a flathead screwdriver in a futile attempt to retrieve the broken off connector and spray hose, scratching up the main unit in the process. Eventually he gave up, declared that he broke it, and that the company will cover the cost for the same or comparable brand model. The model is discontinued from the manufacturer. We contacted the owner/manager TOM who never apologized, WAS VERY RUDE TO MY WIFE, NEVER RESPONDED TO MY PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS and sent in a fraudulent report to our insurance that this is normal wear and tear. KEVIN BROKE IT BEFORE KNOWING WHAT THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM WAS. Our insurance will cover a basic and cheapest replacement unit. TOM and Axis Plumbing refused to cover the difference for the comparable model despite us reaching out to him through phone and emails. Tom is knowingly lying to the insurance protect his own interest which is FRAUD. We spent $75 for the service call for them to break our faucet and now we have to buy a new one for their mistake. TOTAL COST OF THEIR MISTAKE APPROXIMATELY $1000.
Do NOT ever use these plumbers. Late to appointment, extremely arrogant, broke our property, now refusing to fix it or make it right.
Attached are photos of KEVIN breaking our faucet, the broken spray handle with damage to the main unit, and the last photo showing a non-broken, working spray handle from our matching other unit for comparison.

This is the most unprofessional guy I've ever dealt with and for him to be a. Business owner is crazy. My appt was between 11-3 I took off work - I text at 330 to see when he'll be there. Says job ran late will be there 5 ish the close to 6 send him another text. He's stuck in traffic but he's on the way. Then 730 no responses and vm is full. Run from this company.

Called them to replace a toilet at a rental that was not working while I was out of town. No call no show TWICE! To make it better the following week (out of town for a wedding again and probably more than I would be able to do myself anyway) downstairs tenant had a leak coming through the ceiling call about 10 plumbing places on Saturday 4 pm and they are the only one I can get ahold of... reluctantly I decided to give them another chance and made it known the previous week they were a no call no show.. someone was supposed to show up between 10 am and 2 pm... I called 3 times throughout the day, Noon was told someone would be there around 2. I called again at 2 and they said they were finishing another job and we're headed there shortly, I called again at 3:30 and again got that someone would be there shortly. Save your time and call someone else bc they won't show up anyway.
