These guys like what they do and they do it well. I had a previously self-installed well-pump failure and they were out here in Cedar Grove the next day switching it out. Eddie's heart is in the business. He likes to take the jobs that help people out of a jam, instead of the big corporate construction jobs. He's a good man, and the workmanship was high quality. His son took the time to show me what caused my pump to fail and explain the solution in detail. There was no price gouging, and the pump was a much higher quality part than the one I had put in myself. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent work, but at an extremely high $600 per hour cost. I have not received the receipt yet and will have to contact the company.

Hello everyone, Ken Bucher, who was the owner and CEO of Eagle Plumbing, was my grandfather. He was an extraordinary individual who seemed to make friends everywhere he went, even when he was working.
Unfortunately, in June of this year (2016), my granpa passed away from aggressive and sudden thyroid cancer; as such, we are in the process of closing his business permanently and we are referring and long-time and new customers to his equally superb plumbing friend Jeff Falls. I'm not sure it's a good idea to leave Jeff's number here in this post, so, anyone with more questions can feel free to contact me for more info.

I have been using The Water Specialist for several years now. The customer service is exceptional, from phone support to the field technicians. And the prices are very reasonable!

Our house is almost 100 years old. We had a storm water drain that was backing up and we didn't know where the drainage pipe opened. The guys spent 8+ hours over two days working to find the end of the drain, clearing out the pipe, and working to make sure it will stay clear. They were very friendly, hard working and don't like for a job to defeat them. If you have a problem, they will find it. I highly recommend them.

I have been using the Whaley's for about 30 years, two homes, and three rental properties. I have recommended them to many friends. They always do the job right the first time. Their pricing is reasonable, especially if you consider the quality of the work. I have never had to every repair the same problem a second time, even 30 years later. My only concern: what do I do when they retire?

The owner, Vincent, was prompt, professional, and efficiently installed my home's new sink and faucet bathroom vanity. Reasonable price and tidy job. Easy to communicate with via text. Years of plumbing experience. I highly recommend Jones Plumbing Service & Repair.

Had a leak that went through my kitchen floor into the basement. Aka the stuff of homeowner nightmares.
Pipetechs helped quickly schedule an appointment to find the leak. Anthony arrived in the stated window (a small victory in and of itself!), put covers on his boots to protect my floors and patiently listened while I shared the situation. Once he knew what I knew he got right to work and found the leak (busted seal on the dishwasher). If he had just done that this would be a solid 4 star review. I'm giving Pipetechs and Anthony specifically a 5 because he went above and beyond to explain what he was doing, mention some easy (read: cheap) things I could do to maintain my system and then, just for good measure, pulled out an obnoxious clog in my bathroom sink. How's that for great service! I will always go to this team for my plumbing needs from now on. Thank you for restoring my faith in home repair!

Bull City Plumbing was very prompt, professional and identified the problem quickly.
My water was fixed and I even got a follow up to make sure everything was still running smoothly.
I will use again in the future.

They were great plumbers. They came on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. I am thinking about making them my permanent plumbing company.

Curry and his crew were terrific! Our hot water line to our washer corroded and they replaced our whole box and drain to fix it the right way. We appreciated the prompt response, fair pricing, and quick repair time. An innocent question about our water bill led to a much appreciated discovery of a leak in the main line from the street to our home. They were back within days to remedy that issue as quickly as they could. Great bunch of professionals!!

Great service. Took care of the multiple jobs quickly and followed up as needed. I like that they offer different price points to complete the service.

Unprofessional. Rude. Disrespectful. Charged over $250 for an hour of work and the job was to install a brand new kitchen faucet that was supplied by the owner. It is Ronnie Napoleon Allen of Raleigh and another man. They did not present themselves in a respectful and professional manner until a male neighbor appeared. Filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau for excessive prices. Please read their reviews on other forums and do not use their services.

The Good: Most of the technicians who have come to my house have genuinely been sympathetic to the issues we've had. Particularly the young Hispanic men who perform thorough work.
The Bad: Warranty replacement of a faulty unit required over 15 site visits. I missed a lot of work to be home for the technicians. Moreover, they conducted repairs that were not needed: 1) Installation of two new air returns, 2) replacement of the entire line set & altering the exterior of my home, 3) the new warranty unit was actually not brand new & is faulty. The cost of these home-modifying repairs were ~$1400. The amount of work Ive missed ~$1200.
The Ugly: I was promised a warranty extension back in 2015, and again in 2016. Not joking here: I have sent repeated emails over the last 3 years asking for the paperwork documenting this and my emails have gone unresponded, even by facility managers. A couple of installers (non-Hispanic) would smoke cigarettes minutes before entering my home- gross and unacceptable.

I cannot recommend this company because they have not taken the necessary actions to give me what I've paid for- a brand new AC unit that works. Instead, I've wasted more money and been lied to.

Ridiculously over priced. Charged almost $900 to clear out a clog in the main drain. In the past I have paid others a couple hundred dollars to correct. When agreeing to pay I understood it not only cleared the clog but fully clear the pipes out so I thought it would be worth it.
Clog ended up being in a single spot about 2 feet down. Took them all of 10 seconds to clear it. Not exaggerating the time unfortunately. Took them longer to put their equipment away. Then he wanted to charge another $1700 to remove roots from the pipe. When I asked what the $900 was for guy said just to clear the clog and nothing else. Needless to say I declined anymore work from them.
After the tech left went inside and flushed the toilet only to find the issue was not fixed, the drain was still clogged. When I called the tech back and explained the issue was not fixed he was very short and rude, saying needed to pay for the full repair. After challenging that the work I paid for of clearing the clog was not completed, he very disgruntly came back to clear the other direction of the drain which took another 10 seconds to complete. Guy didn't even came back to the door to say it was finally fixed, he called from his truck - very unprofessional.
Strongly recommend avoiding. Either rent a drain cleaner for $60 at Home Depot to resolve the clog on your own and/or sign up for Duke Energys prevented sewer repair plan for only $6.99 per month. If you must hire someone, save yourself a lot of money and go elsewhere.

Way way over priced. I should have read these reviews before I called them. My 4-year old heat pump's fan stop spinning, so I called them. They charged me $99 coming to my house. By the time they came to my house somehow fan started spinning again. They open the unit and told me there might be leakage and it would cost me $249 to find the leakage. Told them to go ahead. They found the leakage and told me it'll cost me $3990 to repair it. I was just shocked and speechless. I paid $3000 for the new heat pump just 4 years ago. So I just paid $350 for nothing.
