Description

Every business has a story to tell. Ours goes way back to 1951 when Nathan Bill Blanton first founded Blanton's Heating & Air. It was the start of a special journey--and one that we're proud to continue today. Specializing in heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services, our business has certainly evolved over the years. But what hasn't changed is the care we give our clients. In a world that never slows down, Blanton's honors the old-school, feel-good type of service that brings you back to the good ol' days.

HISTORY

A lot of things have changed in the past 65 years; today we use computer programs to size equipment, perform diagnostics and calculate duct sizes. One thing that will never change is our commitment to serving you.

I have not had an experience this terrible with a business in years. 2 weeks ago my sink was leaking and I was given a 4 hr window for the first initial repair. A 4 hr window is absolutely ridiculous for a working household. The first tech that came was friendly, however by the time he left my sink was leaking in 3 places instead of 1. He also had to wait nearly an hour for the right part to be delivered because they were not equipped with the parts needed. A week later another tech comes and said the first tech knew there was a possibility what he did would not work. I'm sorry, what? Why would a business expect to be paid when their techs are aware they are not confident in their repairs. Anyways, the 2nd tech had the wrong part (again) so he was unable to do anything that day. I was told they would come back today at 8am. It is now 9am and I have not heard a single word, after contacting their office I was told I should hear back shortly, yet still nothing. I have moved my schedule around 4x in the last 2 weeks to accommodate these people and yet nothing has been resolved. Absolutely ridiculous.

A nice young guy came to my home to check my outdoor water spigots that were rusted....I couldn't attach my hoses for yard watering.  I expected to pay for his service.  He also gave me estimates for installing new (provided by me) vanity and toilet in my Master bath.  I was comfortable with him - he was very polite.  However, by the time he left he had charged me for the spigot work and for a years service Membership that I didn't want.  He also gave me estimates for installation of those items mentioned that were crazy outrageous at well over what any other contractor came near.  I will never deal with these people again, as I was fooled into the membership - a several hundred dollar expense that does nothing.

The pilot light on my hot water heater needed to be lit. The gas company was happy to turn on the meter but not to go in the attic to light the pilot. The Blanton's tech was happy to do it in less than 5 minutes. Charged me a reasonable fee and was very pleasant about doing his job. The gas company made me wait 3 weeks for an appointment (then didn't complete the task). I called Blanton's after 5 and they came the next day.

While the service tech was great getting him there needs work.
Called at 8:24 AM. was told #2 in line, called back every 1.5 hours to get same story.
5:12 PM tech arrived, done in 30 minutes. Different tech than originally told to expect.
They need to have a better appreciation for non business customer needs and priorities. Sat home ALL day for 30 minutes work. Probably use someone else next time.
If assigned tech is tied up assign another!

We needed to have an outlet moved from behind the dishwasher to underneath our sink.
I called them last week, and after getting our schedules synced up, we had the appointment today.
Nick was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He explained as he was going through his initial check, what he was doing and what he recommended. He was able to successfully move the outlet, and also switched out switches that were shorting. We look forward to having him come out to install our surge protector. We've had houses in our neighborhood get struck by lightening, so this would give me piece of mind.

When I made the appointment to get my panel upgraded I asked Ty when he was available.  Ty is 5 star and I imagine Ty is not capable of being anything less than 5 star.  I was disappointed to find out the day before that Ty would not be doing the work and kind of felt a bait and switch situation but trusted Ty.  Ty told me that Matt would be coming by to do the work but it ended up being Rod.  Rod was friendly enough, came in and got set up.  I am a big believer in people following the golden rule and being respectful in life, especially when entering a private residence.  Rod came in, put on his headphones, started singing loudly during his working on the panel.  Rod didn't take a moment to gauge the vibe of the house of what was appropriate or what was overstepping.  Despite reptile cages within eye shot that were too big to be moved or dogs that were being calmed down, or a roommate sleeping who needed to work a late night shift, he thought he could come in and take over the house by singing loudly.  He received a telephone call during the time he was working and he was essentially screaming on the phone and laughing like a hyena.  VERY disrespectful.  I ended up having to have a talk with him which I don't think I should have had to do as he is an adult working for a company which I hope has principles of respecting their clients.  He talked of having his own demons and I wish he would have left those at home as it is not my responsibility to have anything done but the work I paid a lot of money for.  Ty assured me that Matt was the same as his work ethic but then I got Rob and that went out the door.  He put the panel in and the panel looks like it works great but cut a larger hole than the panel he put in, despite the old panel being smaller and sealed it up in a chop shop sort of way that looks very unprofessional and tried to sell it that this is the way it goes sometimes.  UNACCEPTABLE!!  IF you don't know how to do a professional job and wash your hands so that my walls are not black with fingerprints then that is on you!! The house I owned before this I had the panel replaced and it was seamless, this was far from that, a rubber caulking that I can't sand down to even out with drywall mud to make this look haflway normal.  The best I can do with this chop shop patch work is but a piece of artwork over it.  If you charge over inflated price you better make sure your work is impeccilbe!  This was like hiring an unlicensed person who threw the panel on and patched it up in the most ugly way possible and then telling me that this is the way the work it goes.  Good luck with that but no!!  I did not pay 2400 dollars for a panel upgrade to be left with this!!!

I've been with Blantons for a couple of years after a bad experience with another local place. They are more expensive, but their employees are knowledgeable and they let you know when they will be there. They will come out in an emergency, and quickly. I'd rather pay more than to have something done incorrectly and waste what winds up being even more. They will send you pictures of the work, and I have been pleased with them.

Todd P., Jeremy P., and Jacquie V. All did a fantastic job helping us fix our electrical issues at our newly purchased home. Todd and Jeremy worked tirelessly and happily as they got the job done.  You wont go wrong with blantons. Give them your service and they will take extremely great care of you. We are so glad we chose blantons. Great job Todd,  Jeremy,  and Jacquie! Todd will be requested for our further needs in the future!

My Hvac unit was not working and I contacted this company, they installed another appliance for me a year ago and service was great! I expected nothing less this time however that is not what I have received.  I needed 2 parts which had to be ordered and technician explained that he would install them on Wednesday of that week. I stayed out of work waiting for someone to show and became concerned so I called the office and was informed that I was not even on the schedule. In the mean time I checked my credit account that I used for the large purchase that I made previously. They charged my account for $1002.60 prior to coming to do any work or getting my authorization!! I was informed that technician went ahead of his self by scheduling the job. I am still trying to get a refund back on my credit account. I have had the repairs made by another completed by another company. I am very disappointed with this transaction.  I spoke with Jamie last week and she stated my money was refunded back which it was Not. I called again today and spoke with Monica and she left me on hold a few minutes and she returned and advised me that the refund was processed today.

We purchased a high end Lennox unit on Thursday July 5th. Installation was scheduled for the next day, and we were assured that it might be a long installation but we would be up and running by the end of the day Friday. Well, the guys worked until after 9 pm on the install, which they said was complete. Since it was so late startup would have to be done on Saturday. OK, no problem. The tech showed up pretty early on Saturday and got started. At 2 o'clock he was still working. Start up was supposed to a 1 to 2 hour job. The tech informed me that the smart hub unit was not working and would have to be replaced which couldn't be done till Monday. Someone was supposed to call us first thing Monday morning to let us know what's going on. Well, it's Monday and not only has no one called us we have called the office twice and have gotten nothing but the run around. Also, I called the replacement specialist (salesman) who sold us the unit. No answer, no return call as of yet. This will be the 4th day without our central air, in Fayetteville in July. I understand that things happen, but the failure to keep us informed and be available is the reason for this review.
There is still hope for some redemption, but you (Blanton's) better get it together quick.

Elvin Bishop came by today to service my A/C and do inspections.  He was a very friendly and a down to earth person.  He was very knowable and gave me recommendations that would save me $.  He was very thorough.  I was recommended Blanton from my Nextdoor app by my neighbors.  I will be sticking with Blanton's for a while.  :)

They got me!! Had an icing issue with my AC. The tech came checked the unit said I had a leak and needed Freon. Got the Freon, quote for repair and signed up for maintenance plan. I have a friend who later checked the unit and said I didn't have a leak. When another Blanton tech came for the maintenance, there wasn't a leak...this tech reversed two wires and my fan motor blew. Well I definitely wasn't going to get Blanton to fix it...my friend fixed the motor for me. I won't let anyone from Blanton work on anything in my house. I don't recommend anyone let Blanton do repairs or sign up for a maintenance plan with them. Buyer Beware.

AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Blanton's require a Credit Card on file before they set up a service call. They can charge your card whenever they want with or without your permission.  You have no say so on how much should be charged or if the tech did the job to your satisfaction. I don't recommend giving out your credit card number in advance until you receive an invoice and approve it.

We have had awful service since Will Blanton split from his Brother. This company Became Very Greedy. We have a Airpurfier that is has nothing but problems. The air conditioner system started having problems not too long after we purchased it.  Also, the company should not tell customers that due to this virus they need a air Purifer system! This company has a wonderful staff of ofc. And service people, maybe the people in charge need to re-evaluate their priorities.

Since this review was posted we had a great talk with them and some of our issues were misunderstandings and others were resolved by the company.  We will continue to use Blantons for our heating and air needs and recommend others to use them as well.

We had a leak and a major clog..... Blanton's dispatched Ian out and not only did he take the time to explain to us what he was doing but gave us helpful tips to prevent a major clog in the future. FYI the flushable wipes are not flushable in a sense that if they get caught on something or form a ball, you most likely will have a clog at some point! Feminine hygiene products are also not recommended for flushing. We are super thankful and highly recommend Blanton's!

I would avoid Blantons for plumbing and find a plumber who charges for time and materials.  We had a countertop and sink replaced and needed to have the drain redone as we were going from two sinks to one and a much deeper sink.  As long as I was paying a trip fee in excess of $100, I thought I would have them install the new faucet and reconnect the water filter while they were there.  My wife called me after the plumber arrived to tell me all three jobs were going to cost around $1800.  (The written estimate emailed to me was for just over $1300.)  The plumber told me that Blantons uses a job catalog to price the work rather than time and materials.  I wasn't going to pay that much for something I could do myself so I asked the plumber to install only the garbage disposal and drain at just over $350.  The plumber installed the drain and left telling my wife that he couldn't test the drain for leaks because there was no faucet.  I don't know whether this was a company policy or if he just didn't reallize he could pour water down the drain from one of the other two faucets in the house.  I came home that night and installed the faucet in about 20 minutes and tested the drain;  It leaked, of course.  I called Blantons to have the plumber come back out the following day but the plumber never showed after I had taken the day off to be there for him.  Another plumber came out the following morning and repaired the leaking drain.  I also reinstalled the water filter system which literally consisted of reconnecting one tube and took all of 5 minutes.

I requested initial installation of my generac system on 13 November 2019 and the work was not completed until 26 November 2019.  I am posting a 4 star rating based on the following: 1) The technicians were outstanding and very professional! 2). The gap in service delivery occurred with lack of communication to complete the installation in a timely manner which guaranteed service and installation within 72 hrs; 3) I had to contact the office again on 19 and 22  November to get updates and follow-up on completion of installation.  Although, I was not happy with the delays, I did receive a phone call from Mr Timothy who is the Vice President of  operations on 26 November.  I was very pleased with my communication with him and his commitment to deliver quality customer service.  Therefore,  I am basing my rating on the outstanding service from the technicians and my engagement with Mr. Timothy.  Thank you!

After several quotes from other vendors I sat down with their rep and got a better deal with higher quality system right off the bat; additionally I'm a firm believer of using American made products so Win Win with a better price first time, not high and come down three time to make you feel like you got a deal like the others. Tech's did a great job, courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

Way way over priced. I should have read these reviews before I called them. My 4-year old heat pump's fan stop spinning, so I called them. They charged me $99 coming to my house. By the time they came to my house somehow fan started spinning again. They open the unit and told me there might be leakage and it would cost me $249 to find the leakage. Told them to go ahead. They found the leakage and told me it'll cost me $3990 to repair it. I was just shocked and speechless. I paid $3000 for the new heat pump just 4 years ago. So I just paid $350 for nothing.

Pros: Fast response, tech answered my questions and was patient, he was not a horrible person, was just doing his job as directed

Called on Sat, tech came Monday. He immediately began pushing me to purchase a new unit before seeing my current unit.

He opened the panel on the gas/heat side and immediately began saying 'I have to flag this unit'  has rust on heat coils need to be replaced.  He pointed out brown flecks on blower drum and coils and said it was mold, replace. Replace, replace, replace came out of his mouth hundreds of times.

I clearly said I cannot afford to replace, can it be repaired. He said, without checking everything, it would cost $1300 for a blower motor(he had not looked at it), at least 4lbs of Freon $400, another $500+ for a leak test, and several other items. Again new unit, new unit. I finally loudly said Listen to the words coming out of my mouth. No New Unit. That did not stop his push.

I asked him to close it up, paid the $116 fee and asked him to leave.

Called a smaller company, who came the next day. Tech spent time diagnosing. The blower motor had died. Freon was fine. He also after hearing about the last tech looked at the gas side. Said a little rust was normal and it did not need replacing. The brown flecks on drum and coils was dirt.

This tech replaced the blower motor, removed drum and scrubbed clean, cleaned dirt from coils, even taped the insulation to make sure it did not get sucked into the blower. $600 later my ac is working well.

Cons: Techs are not honest. Techs lie to upsell new units. Tech saw a female and decided to bully in a push for new unit.  Tech said unit needed 4lbs Freon-Lie, it was full. Tech said mold-Lie, it was dirt. Tech said gas coils were done-Lie, surface rust, coils fine.  Tech said Freon leak-Lie freon was fully charged.

Blantons continues to call and text offering a salesman to price new unit after I said STOP. See screenshot from this morning, Jult 4th one week after first visit.

If you need a new unit, this place may be helpful however tech said $7 -11,ooo which sounds overinflated.

Blantons offered to make it up to me when I complained. One dishonest dealing was enough, no thank you.

Update 7.6.2022  Since there is not an option to respond to the response from the company, I am adding to my original post.

The evidence in the response is a couple of photos taken of surface rust on he heat coils, and flecks of dirt on the drum. This tech took photos and emailed them, yes it had rust and yes eventually the heat side will be serviced, they were called to service the air conditioner not the gas heat, my unit has 2 different components.

1., I did not ask for the gas/heat side to be inspected, I asked for the ac side to be diagnosed, that side was never opened.

2.those flecks that the tech cried look mold,  were scrubbed away by the other company who replaced the blower motor, it was dirt. Dirt happens in anything sitting outside.

This tech did not diagnose, instead he focused on visual things to use to scare me into a new unit, that is called bullying and it was unnecessary.  He kept threatening me, I'll have to flag this unit, the rust makes it unsafe, we will report this unit because of these spots, it is unsafe, I will have to disconnect the heat side, because it is flagged you'll need a new unit.  It was almost 100 degrees outside and he was telling me all about the unsafe heat unit, which the new company tech took great care to look at and check because of my experience. The new tech from another company indicated that I was #5 this week of clients who were told the same thing by this company, unsafe=new unit, and none needed replacing.

I should also mention that this tech said I was 4lbs low on Freon ($100 per lb charge) which was interesting because he did not have the chart guide that tells you how much the unit holds. Tech from company #2 did because we could not find the one on the unit as it had long fallen apart and we tried locating the guide on the web with no luck, I pulled the original guide for the unit and it was inside. When he, tech #2 hooked up his gages found that the unit was actually overcharged with more Freon then the unit calls for.

I don't normally post negative reviews but in this case, I am angry that I wasted money and I hate a BULLY.  No paying customer should be bullied into something they clearly have said they are not interested in.  If you want repeat clients you treat them with respect and honesty, neither of which I received.  I would have given zero stars but yelp does not give that option.

I called Blanton's to come out and give me an estimate on what it would cost to wire my garage for electricity. They wanted over 100.00 for a free estimate. I went with them anyway, because I have put this off for about 5 years. The customer service lady told me that 3 people would be there to do the work, didn't know i was the third person. The two individuals that showed up were very nice and polite. Their supervisor showed up around 5 o'clock, he was no real help at all. Think he needs to go back to school to relearn how to wire an outlet and how to ensure the panel is wired right.  Went to use the electric in the garage a few days later and had no power. Called the company and told them about the problem and sent the same person back out to fix it. Asked for a bill and they sent one in an in an email. They charge you by the time it takes, ie an hour for the panel and hour to hook into the house. The total bill was 5000.00. So I paid this company 500.00 an hour. I got online and checked price's at Lowe's, Home Depot and Central Electrical Supply. The total amount for parts and the rental on the trencher came to $2300.00. The rest of it was in Labor cost. Guess the customer is paying for those brand new vans they are driving around. Find yourself an electrician on Angie's List. Used this company back in the early 2000's to replace an home AC unit. Back when Chris was with the company.

All I needed was someone to put in a new faucet for me.  The technician that came to my house, looked at my faucet and under my sink.  He then went to his truck to get me an estimate.  That cost me approx. $80.  The estimate he gave me was $621.46 if he put in my faucet.  $739.01 if I used one of their faucets.   Really Blanton's???  I called my dad, who called his guy, CAPP'S PLUMBING, and my faucet was put in in less time than it took Blanton's to give me that outrageous estimate.  And.....it cost me less than $200.00!  I wouldn't recommend anyone to call Blanton's for anything!

I am not sure how this place is still in business.  Blanton's was able to send a tech out quickly to provide a quote to help install a garbage disposal and secure two toilets.  During scheduling we were told that they were able to use the garbage disposal we ordered from Lowe's which was the exact replacement as the old.  Then they called and said they can only use what they provide.  The tech said that he can provide the same $100 disposal and the cost including installation was $500.  To pull and reset a toilet with new wax seal & bolts was quoted at $400+ each as well with a disclaimer that if there were issues found during a simple reset, the cost would double.  We were charged the $100 dispatch fee to be quoted these ridiculous prices.  When I challenged the quote and asked how they justify over charging customers over $500/hour on labor costs, the tech said that customers pay it due to their outstanding reputation.  I agree with the other reviews, please do call around for price ranges before wasting time and money calling Blanton's.

What a day. Had a MAJOR issue with my ac unit leaking through my upstairs ceiling. Contacted Blantons via their website last night around 10pm. First thing this morning at 8 am they called to get me scheduled for someone to come out, I didn't know they were gonna do it on the same day. The man Alex came out around noon and was very professional , knowledgeable and friendly. I normally don't write reviews but I am just too upset about this. My husband and I just bought a house and it had some plumbing issues. We called Blanton's because I have worked with them in the past. They came out assessed what I needed done and it was going to be 2800 dollars. They gave me an estimate from high to low and we talked about what My husband could do and then it came down to two thing that we needed to pay someone to do. That was going to cost us 1100 dollars which is still really expensive for going from 6 repairs to down to 2. They couldn't do them at the time so they scheduled them to come back. Once it was done I paid and they said they would send an invoice. Well I never got the invoice, I was curious on the specific costs. So a few days after the repair my husband notice something that was supposed to be done and was not. I called them back to complain and figure out why it wasn't done and complain that I never got an invoice to tell me what I paid for and how much each thing cost. They said I would have to wait for a manager to call me back but they can send a tech out again to remedy the issue. So another tech was scheduled to come out. Well the tech came today and told me it would cost me at least another 500 dollars to fix the issue that was supposed to be done the previous time. My husband said not thanks. AND WE STILL HAD TO PAY 100 DOLLARS for him to come and tell us that! I called the office again after he left and they said I would have to wait for a manger to call me!! AGAIN! I never found out how much each repair cost and am now wondering what I even paid for! I will never call Blanton's for anything ever again. If you want to over spend for poor customer service then these are your people. I would have given them zero stars if I could.

Same as other reviews, they try to get you with a low assessment fee and a reduced price because they appreciate military. 59.99 to show up and quoted around $200 to install a nest thermostat that has an install kit so requires no additional tools and that we've already established is compatible. This place is a ripoff if I've ever seen one.

Recieved a quote from Blanton's to change panel box from indoor to an outdoor one because it was in a bad location. That quote was for $16,000. I called a different electrical company and was quoted $3,700 for the same job. Blanton's also quoted me to replace the meter base for $5,000. The other electrical company did it for $1,600 (2 hour job including pulling permits).
I find it very sad that a company such as Blanton's has a need to overcharge their customers like that. Most people work normal jobs that maybe pay $25/Hour. People like that have lost touch with reality. Being a business owner myself, I couldn't profit on people's misfortunes like that.

I have been trying to get in touch with someone from Blantons (other than a customer service rep. since Sunday May 29th and it is now Thursday June 2nd.

The service that has been received, rather lack there of, is unacceptable.
We signed up for the service plan where we pay a monthly installment and have routine checks on our AC Unit. When we were signed up it was also explained that we would have the extra perk of being pushed to the front of the line when needing a service call and that service was available on weekends.

I called on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 4:22 PM and left a message regarding our AC unit not working at 3305 Michler Lane. I received a call back 4:33 PM and was told that a message would be sent to the on call technician and I should hear back from them. I called again at 5:55 PM as I had not heard anything back from anyone and our upstairs was approaching 80 degrees and we have young children who would be going to bed soon. At 6:26 PM I received a call back from the customer service representative and she again told me that she would send this over to the on call service technician. I expressed my urgency in the matter and concerns with the temperature. She apologized we had not heard back from anyone and that we would get a call back. By 7:27 I still did not hear anything and when I received a call back from the customer service representative at 7:30 PM she informed me that they do not work on weekends and that I would hear back from someone within 24 hours.

I called again this morning Monday, May 30, 2022 at 7:01 AM and asked to have someone come out. The customer service representative shared that they will send the message to the technicians but they cannot guarantee service today but I would receive a call back within 24 hours. I then explained I had been calling since 4:30 PM the day before and found this very frustrating and asked to have the service manager call me back by 11:30 AM today. She said she would pass the message along. By 8:30 AM I had not heard anything and decided to call another company who came out, assessed the problem, fixed it, checked their work, and completed the job all before 10:00 AM.

I have left multiple messages and even sent an email and STILL have not heard anything. Maybe this review will get a call back to resolve the issue and the refunded NEEDED.

I had Blanton's come out because I needed a dedicated outlet for my crawl space.  The electrician was very professional and nice, but I felt overcharged for the amount of work done.  He did an hour and a half worth of work and installed a breaker, drilled a hole through my garage to the crawl space, ran a line with an outlet to my crawl space. I was charged $1665.00 for this.  If I were not desperate and naive, I would have called another company.  Suffice to say that I will never use this company for anything else.  I am glad I canceled my appt to check my HVAC and have gone with another company!!  The fact that they would take advantage is a tremendous shame!

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Seriously,  guy comes out to my moms house to try and charge $250 to replace a washer.  Or $700 to fix a $40 faucet.   Dude should be ashamed of himself.  Glad she told him to beat it. After he charged her $75 for the visit.

Had an emergency flooding/overflow issue from the toilets/shower on a Friday evening. Saturday Charlie came out did what he could for us. Was a very kind person. This project was bigger than that so on Monday Eric showed up to inspect the issue. On Tuesday we mostly waited on the city to come find the water line for us. On Wednesday we were finally able to find the issue and they(Chris, Ernest, and Eric) was able to get the issue fixed. They were very polite and very knowledgeable. We appreciate them getting this done for us. Great job guys!

John was here to inspect the HVAC. another nice man also informative.

Well next project we had done was HVAC. Chris, Ernest, Jermel, Steven k were here. Two were under the house doing duct work and two were in the attic running duct work. Before they got here half the house was able to get heat and not very good heat at that. Now the whole house is warm and on this cold day we need it. Thank you! Also another good group of men. Jamin also came out for a short bit.

Daniel was here to inspect electric. Nice man and informative. I'll update this if more work is done.

Great company, good people.

After 5 years of trouble-free service, our HVAC system decides to start tripping its circuit breaker randomly. I called Blanton's at 7:30 this morning and had someone at my place at 5pm this evening. They checked out everything and found some really loose connections to the emergency heat.  We are back to a warm house with little fuss. We have also used Blanton's for electrical and had the same great service. Frankly, they are one of the few places that always answers the phone, gives great communication while waiting, and actually show up to the appointment, on time!

Andy and Travis did a great job on my install.  In fact the whole process of identifying an issue, and getting a quote for a system and installing was seamless.  Spoke to John and Dusty on a Friday, and the following Monday, Travis and Andy installed the system.  Great customer service, responsive support, and a plus highly recommend.

The first thing you need to know about this company is your estimate and bill will not be itemized.  With that, you have little choice but to pay the invoice.  I asked for and got with some discussion, an itemized estimate.  Then came the good stuff.  The second thing you need to know about this company is that they won't pay you back for work not performed.  I've been waiting since December 24th (it's now Feb 22nd) for a refund on work not done.   I've even filled a complaint with BBB - Blanton's response was that they had attempted to contact me on numerous occasions - guess that their bulk mail solicitations count as contacts as I have yet to hear from this supposedly reliable and professional company.  My appraisal of their work was that they hire younger workers as experienced ones don't want their licenses to be blocked by Blanton's.  As such, the workers inexperience shows even in spite of the sky high rates Blanton's charges.  Note the pics below.  Wall panel was three times the size of the one replaced and left with wall board repairs needed.  Note the wires coming out of the wall behind the water heater and the overflow drain into the house rather than outside as needed.  Finally, the repairs to the washer were done with plastic tubing rather than more expensive and more difficult to install copper.  BTY, the water heater installed was the least economical to operate on the market and retailed for $455 - the repair cost was $1,678.88.

Called Blanton to get some plumbing issues fixed. I specifically stated that I need them to call my work number and they lady said it was documented to call there first. An hour later I check my cell phone and they have left a voicemail. I call back and the lady said they rerouted the worker because they couldn't get ahold of me, but he should be done in 45 minutes. I called back two hours later to get a status and the lady said I was on the schedule for Wednesday. Seriously  needless to say I am now on the search for a different plumber since they can't even communicate about getting a hold of me and getting a service tech here within their office.

7 years ago I purchased two Trane air conditioning packs (external) for my house from BlantonsAir.com for $20,000, this is the third series of visits  over the seven years all requiring me to purchase new parts. Today I was told that my condenser coil is leaking and needs to be replaced. The other guy who came by told us it was just low, it just doesn't get low on a closed system unless there's a leak, he refills it. Last night the temperature upstairs was 74 degrees so we called once again. No service fee because we paid for it when Mr. Fillerupper came by the first time. The techs that came out today check and once again it's low (troubleshooting 101), they check and tell me the coil has a hole in it. $2000 more dollars I have to spend, but wait, due to the last guy's incompetence they'll knock off the $500 we spent on Monday. So now the new tally is with my warranty discount and the $500 off (incompetence compensation) is $1600. Just curious is this the normal? Do you think I should pay once again? Is this fair?

UPDATE: They will be installing a new condenser coil free of charge. I spoke with Shawn and he offered to send a tech to fill the freon and install a window unit, both I agreed to now that my upstairs is 78 degrees until the new part comes in. David and Shawn came out and refilled the Freon and are scheduled to come out every three days to refill until the part arrives. If your in any capacity related to maintenance or logistics you understand it's always the part they don't have in stock. Also due to COVID shipments are slowed and that's understandable. Issue fixed review updated

Tried to cancel appointment. Wouldn't let me cancel appointment. Technician said he'll come by to look at my hot water no charge. After showing up informs me it will be a $100 fee if I don't hire them to install a water heater. I understand dispatch fees, but if I try to cancel hours before there shouldn't be one.

Blanton's has WONDERFUL customer service and AWESOME technicians.  That being said, I cancelled my membership with them because unfortunately their prices are outrageous.  I made the decision after today, when we had an electrician come over to literally press a button and switch an outlet out only to be charge over a $230 diagnostic fee!  That fee was charged as a WOW member and with the service fee waived as well as a $50 discount.  I've noticed some of the estimates we inquired about and received were also priced extremely high over the last few visits resulting in not moving forward with some of the work we want or need done.

As great as the customer service and technicians are, their charges are ridiculous and way overpriced.  Sadly, I'm not willing to continue my membership or business with them because of this.  Best of luck to the company and their workers.

Wow I wish I read these reviews before calling them. They are some scam artists that give you this huge quote for doing minor work. A service fee for looking at something for less than a minute, I mean really they could've gave me that huge quote over the phone. I don't mind paying for a good job but don't make a fool out of me

We have a contract with Blanton's because they are reliable, respectful, trustworthy, and keep us informed as to when they'll arrive and who is coming.

Always on time or early. Under promise and over deliver.

Today Curtis came to install our Ecobee thermostat.

It is always a pleasure to visit with Curtis while he is here to help us with our HVAC system and it's various components.

We have been using Blantons since 2014 and have never been disappointed with any of the people they have assigned to our various concerns nor have we had any problems with the office.

They may cost a bit more but for us it is well worth the peace of mind knowing that we have genuinely good people coming into our home and that the job will be done right.

We have been so pleased with Blantons and the people working for them (and us) that we pretty much consider them family and recommend them to other people.

I would recommend to never use this company for any type of service. They will rip you off on the price and then give you a excuse that they provide jobs and benefits for their employees which is there responsibility anyway as a business. I had a simple plumbing job for them to remove the ice maker line and a 6 drain line repair. The parts cost were less than 50.00 and they charged me 878.00 for a two hour visit which half of the time was spent sitting in the truck. So if you wanna be over charged and taken advantage of please use Blanton's  the company who screws you.
This was my first and last time I use Blanton's air electric and plumbing service of Fayetteville NC.
Dan was the service technician who did the work.
The company did not give me a breakdown of the parts and labor prices on my invoice which is another red flag about Blanton's. I went under my home to see for myself the work Dan the rip off man did on my plumbing and I called Blanton's to dispute my concerns about the price and was  given the above reason for the amount I was charged.
I priced all the parts cost at Lowe's.
My fellow people and neighbors as God as my witness Blanton's will cheat and steal your hard earned money from you.

This company over charges and takes advantage of customers.  Charges $109 just to ring your doorbell and then quotes you outrageous prices.  Charged my son $550 to fix a leaky faucet and it wasn't even on a weekend.  Took the tech a total of 30 minutes.  Who makes $1,100 an hour?  Well I guess Blantons Air, Plumbing and Electric does!!!  Do your homework and find someone who is honest and fair in pricing and don't get ripe off by this company!!

When I called about the thermostat not working on a Saturday morning in 90+ degree weather they told me that they couldn't get to the house until Monday. I explained that my elderly, bed bound, oxygen dependent father could not withstand being overheated. The person I talked to said they would put us on the urgent list. Well guess what, it is Sunday night and I get a text from them saying they will be here Monday. Really? They need to revamp their urgency requirements because obviously an elderly, bed bound oxygen dependent senior is not urgent enough to come out here and help us out. I am very disappointed and thankful that my dad did not have an exacerbation of his COPD and end up in the hospital. Adding: When the tech came out Monday he was very professional and was able to get the job done although they still need to upgrade their urgency requirements. Thankfully the temps at night weren't extreme and the temps didn't hit the 100 degree mark like the week previously.

The prices are insanely high! Both our toilets just needed a new wax seal & bolts replacement  and we paid $927! I asked the plumber to please give me a detailed receipt to go over the prices and he said he would email me one, but only got a receipt with the total cost. Please look around other plumbing companies for prices before calling this one.

We have used Blanton's for several issues in our home and every time we have had excellent service. The HVAC service gentleman Scotty Mathis is extremely thorough and brought a very serious issue to our attention. We had mold growing on the INSIDE of our system. He presented us with a few options to fix it, and within a couple days Scotty had the mold issue taken care of. I can not say enough about the professionalism, and knowledge of this technician.  Yes, Blanton's does cost a bit more than some other places you could call however, they do stand behind their work. I know in Fayetteville you get what you pay for.

I will keep this short and simple. Don't use them. Overpriced. Gives you a quote with no explanation or break down of service provided and just want you to swipe your card. I was quoted $693 to replace two simple parts in two toilets that took 5 min to do ($159) price tag. And an additional $500 to replace my garbage disposal. I declined for them to fix my disposal as I thought their quote to do these two things was ridiculous. Ended up purchasing my disposal at Lowe's ($109) and having them install it which ran me about $250. The only mistake I made was ever considering them. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Beware, Blanton's may provide service with a smile But are laughing all them way to the bank! Had them install a new $7500 system 6 years ago and the AC stopped cooling. Their is technician was a complete drama queen checking for the problem and everything was borderline ok. When he touched the compressed he jerked his hand back like it burned him exclaiming whoa, that's hot! When I reached done to check it he came back with oh, it's not that hot, it was luke warm.  When he was done he talked about how he could save my unit from a complete replacement by changing out the compressor for only $2,005 since the compressor was under a 10 yr warranty.

The compressor had 3 mounting bolts, 2 refrigerant lines and 4 wires. He tried to tell me it was very complex and would take about 2 1/2 hrs to complete the job. The $2005 was for labor and refrigerant ( they do't itemize their invoices to keep you blind to their rates) and he went into a rehearsed spill about solder costing $27 a lb and other expenses... a bunch of BS! I sent him on his way & complained, they came down to $1,500 over the phone, again going on about their expenses and how most people don't want itemized invoices. $500 an hour for labor is outrages! I later found out that the technicians get incentives for replacing parts that may or may not need replacement.  Obviously, I went elsewhere to get it repaired. If you're even thinking about using them, get other quotes first - you'll notice a major difference in pricing. I feel like a sucker using them to begin with as I don't mind paying for quality buy I don' t like to be played as a fool.

Dan F did an exceptional job of us. We recently lost a leg of our electrical line that powered our deep well. He came out, diagnosed the problem and had a solution very quickly. He arrived as scheduled and finished the job in one day. This included digging a trench for the new electrical line (150 feet), as we could not determine exactly where the problem was located, new breakers and a new electrical panel. He even gave us a statement of the problem so we could send it in to our insurance company as we could not wait until they sent an adjuster. I would highly recommend Dan F. and Blanton's Air, Plumbing and Electrical for any work needed. They will definitely have my business!!

My water heater died. Duke energy was offering a rebate for an efficient system and Blanton's is one Two companies that they approved to do the work.

Problem is the estimate. A friendly tech came home, did some talking, tried some selling and left after providing an estimate. The estimate I received was for 4800 for a 80 gallon water heater replacement. Reduced to 4600 after some conversation. The problem is that there is no breakdown. Just one number on a pdf.

The product they were replacing was about 1200 or so. That makes 3600 for the service. My problem is at this price ROI for this year electric water heater will be 8 years+. Expected to be 2-3 years generally.

Also the technician was trying to ask me for the visit fee of $59. When I requested a quote, they said it was a free trip they will do. I indicated it was supposed to be free. Did not get much argument but it was still surprising that he asked.

Not accepting the bid. Will do with someone else and request duke for the rebate. If they don't approve I will still have saved money.

Val, is an absolutely amazing human being. I had something come up at work and was late to my scheduled service he waited for me and said no worries. He fixed my pop up assembly that was leaking in my bathroom and fixed my downstairs toilet that was constantly running. He provided exceptional service and I will forsure request him by name if I ever need another plumbing service done at my house. He's also a good human being as well. We had a great conversation while he was here. 100% would recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Blantons quickly came to our house when others wouldn't be able to and for that we were willing to pay more to have our pipes unclogged. However we were charged 500 dollars (double what we were charged by a local competitor) to attempt to unclog our pipes. They were unsuccessful, and instead offered that we pay 1600 to remove and replace a 10ft section of pipe from our already exposed wall. We are talking maybe 100 dollars in materials and maybe 3 hours of labor, ridiculous. Roto Router was able to come out and unclog the drain for 150 dollars in 30 mins. Where we were told the camera was going to cost 800 at Blantons

Update: Blantons reached out to us and started the process for issuing a refund.

Bought my unit from them years ago, been happy with unit and service until my last call for service that is. the tech came on time and was checking out my unit. Told me my blower needed cleaning. Told me it was $500.00!. since he was out here told him to go ahead, figuring he was mistaken on price and i would just call Blantons later and get it straightened out. Took him about 10 minutes. Thats $3000 per hour. Huh?  I did call and some woman told me that was in fact the price and offered to send some $10.00 coupons to use on future service calls.  I even went up to their office. No luck. When i got home I had an e=mail from Blantons offering a FREE a/c cleaning and inspection TO INCLUDE CLEANING THE BLOWER!!!. Printed the e-mail and went back to Blantons and showed it to them. They had no clue what was going on. Told me their marketing dept. sent it out without their knowledge. They had to refund all my money. Total ripoff - never use them again.

Another 5 star visit from Blanton's Heating and Air. Our old HVAC unit had run its course and luckily our technician Ryan Johnson who was there to do routine maintenance and upkeep recommended it was time to replace it, Blanton's had installed the original about twelve years ago so it was time and naturally we went with Blanton's again. Thankfully Ryan was quick to pull up the information on who could facilitate that happening. There is no one we trust more when it comes to our HVAC needs than Blantons. Soon Kevin Melendez was out and helping us with selecting and financing our new system which with his guidance and assistance was an easy process and did not take long at all and two days later the team of Kaleb Hart and Dustin Watkins handled the install and were just as courteous and professional as other Blanton's employees have been. While the days may have started early and been long on occasion they never seemed to mind always answering questions and concerns and giving updates.  Most times you hardly knew they were there as they did their job so well and efficiently.  Over the course of three days we now have a completely new and upgraded unit and our home is well taken care of. Worth the time and money to hire quality workers like these.  We highly recommend and very much appreciate Blanton's team and all of the associates that have been here the past week to get this done. We could not have made a better choice. Blanton's members for over twelve years and counting.

My wash machine was overflowing from a clogged drain pipe.  I called Blanton's and they sent a rep out.  He unhooked my wash machine and unclogged the drain pipe. He then charged me $600.00 and was very professional in doing so.

When I ran my wash machine and hour later, I had soapy water running all over my floor! water was erupting right out of the washing machine. I looked behind the wash machine and realized he had not hooked it back up! They then wanted to charge me $109.00 to come back out fix what they had fouled up.  I just hooked it back up myself.   Thank you Blanton's for charging me an arm & a leg for a shoddy job!  I would not recommend Blanton's to my worst enemy.  They are too expensive and incompetent.

I call Blanton's to have a plumber come out today because of the same problem I had last week. After getting my information I am placed on hold when she verifies plumber will be coming out today. She gets back on the phone and tells me dispatch will have a plumber out today. After that I as to speak with a manager to discuss a previous low review. she tells me a manager has been emailed.  At 4:02 pm I receive a text saying my plumber's appointment is for tomorrow. So I call the office and ask what is going on. I am told the plumber can not come out today. And I am told I have an appointment with someone Wednesday evening to talk about my HVAC that was replaced Monday. WOW did not know I had that appointment and they were informed they need to call me to reschedule it.  While I am typing this review the plumber's dispatcher calls at 4:30 and says plumber is coming, no an electrician is coming,  no HVAC is coming then says no it is for sure a plumber coming. Well 3 times today I have asked for a manager to call me and I still have not gotten the call.  This week I have asked for a manager to call me 4 different times. As of now no call from a manager has been received. PLEASE CALL ME

My renters in Hope Mills reported that the lower level AC unit was not pushing out cold air on 3OCT19. I've used Blantons for their ease of use and I called them up again on the 4th. They were able to come on Saturday the 5th with no extra charge other than the 100$ house call since they consider Saturday a work day. The technician diagnosed that the compressor in my Goodman unit was dying and needed to be replaced. All the part supply stores were supposedly closed so he said he couldn't give me a price for repair and had to call his boss. He came back to me saying a new compressor was 3700$ and a new unit would be 10k. I recently used Blantons to replace the upper floor unit and it was 5.5k Just looking really quickly on the internet you can see that the most expensive model after installation is around 7200$. I am frustrated because I have used these guys for years and today they were simply making numbers up. It's disappointing from a company that I have used for so long. Just based on these business practices, I will not be utilizing their services and I will just eat the 100$ diagnostic fee as well as working with a company that won't gouge me.

On 9/18/2021, I contacted Blanton's for a service because my unit wasn't cooling. The service tech who originally worked on the unit was Casey Jones. On September 22nd, Casey informed me that the problem was that I needed a capacitor and stated the unit was also losing refrigerant. After performing a leak search Casey informed me that I needed to replace the coil in order to stop the refrigerant leaks. Casey originally provided an estimate for $3,696 which included an air scrubber that I did not need. I agreed to replace the capacitor and the coil for approximately $2,493. I later scheduled a return visit to replace the coil on Friday September 24th. On the morning of the 24th I will woke up to a leak in my home office ceiling. My carpet was wet and my ceiling was damaged. I had to clean my carpet to avoid mold. As I stated on September 22nd, my ceiling had no damage prior to the tech visiting my home and the unit had been turned off and the service tech restarted the unit. I immediately called Blanton's and I requested a different service tech because I was not impressed with the work of the previous tech. A different tech visited on the 24th and installed the replacement coil. The final invoice stated that the system was operating properly at that time and within manufacturer specifications and that someone would contact me about repairing the water spots. I contacted your office again on September 30th because I had not heard anything back from Blanton's concerning the repair. I spoke with Tynisha who assured me that she would make contact with the service department about my repair. She stated she would call me back with a resolution. That never happened, therefore I contacted Blanton's again on 10/8. I spoke with Kathy (Customer Service Manager) who asked if the contractor had called to schedule the visit and I said no. Kathy informed me that she needed to talk with the service manager again and that she would contact me to provide resolution. On Saturday, October 9th at 8:05am,  I received a phone call from Kathy with Blanton's requesting to send a tech to my home the same day to check the HVAC system again prior to making a decision. I inquired as to why this needed to happen again as a tech had already visited on the September 24th and had taken and provided pictures of the damage. I was told that she was doing what the service manager asked her to do. I informed Kathy that I needed an answer from Blanton's concerning the ceiling repair. I contacted Kathy again on October 9th and requested her email address to provide updated pictures as the ceiling damage is now more prominent because the ceiling has dried. I also informed Kathy that I expected an answer by Monday October 11th concerning my damages so that I could take the necessary steps at that time to get resolution. I have been a loyal customer to Blanton's for many years despite the fact that I have never been able to enjoy the warranty without having to pay extra money out of my pocket every time a tech visits. Blanton's are constantly trying to upsell services or items that the customer does not need or want. I feel that I am getting the runaround at this point. I did not hesitate to spend almost $2,500 to make my system operational again, despite the fact that the coil which was covered under warranty still cost me $2,100 to install. My ceiling was damaged already on September 24th, the day that I paid the remaining $1,246.03 for the coil replacement. I did not choose to hold the moneys until my ceiling repair was completed. I assumed that Blanton's would uphold its promise in good faith but I see now that I was wrong. Today marks the 17th day since the damage was reported and Blanton's has never contacted me about making the repairs. All contact with Blanton's has been initiated by me. If you don't call that the runaround then I don't know what else to call it. I actually expected better from Blanton's and I am highly disappointed. If you should ever encounter this company please ensure that all repairs are made prior to payment. Their word is good for nothing!!

I called about humming in my pipes. Chad was out in two hours and had pretty much determined the cause before e arrived to my house. There is a lot of building going on around me so the water company had increased the pressure to service those new builds. Our house as 13 years old so the pressure valve was failing. With the water company increasing pressure, this helped the valve go bad. Chad replaced the valve and did a few other things and all now is well. He also found other things that we should monitor, since they could fail, too.

Made an appointment o line for plumbing repair and asked that they call my cell phone.  They did not show up and then said that they called us on our home phone, which I did not ask them to do.  They said that they would call us to reschedule, which they also have not done.

I wanted an estimate to install manual out door generator switch. I had a manual switch (new). To install that switch I needed another meter base, power panel and who knows whatever else. Told this would run about 4k. My 15KW generac was only $3500. Hark there was another way. Install one breaker, move one breaker and install interlock. This method was only $2300. After looking at an instructional video I ordered less than $200 in parts and estimate project to be complete (to code) in less than 2 hrs. So I paid retail for the parts which made labor about 2k per hour. I began wondering how many people just paid the $99 and did not get the work done. That equates to $200 per hour. If you have enough techs you don't need to do any work.

This is about their plumbing services. Trying to communicate with this company seems to get old sometimes. I have used them for HVAC services on three properties, with mixed results. I can say that every time that there has been an issue they have gone to lengths to correct the problem, even if it did take several days. Now I'm trying to talk to them and arrange to get some information reference a hot water tank replacement. It is like they don't believe that I know when my tank has failed and is leaking. When I call they are not available. The friendly and courteous ladies that work the phones for them seem to try, but the sales folks call me and leave messages (I'm at work) don't seem interested in talking with me when I can call them back. They want to send out a service tech without finding out what I need or want. This is a serious gap in their techniques and needs to be addressed! I understand they may be busy as well, but I've been a steady customer for about 6 years. I've received messages from both Jackie and Tom, but they haven't been available when I've had a chance to call. I am quite unhappy.

The only reason I gave two stars is because of how quick they were able to come out and assess my system and the professionalism of the employee and customer service staff. The repair man made incorrect assessments and said things were broken on my heating/air system when they were, in fact, fully functioning and not broken at all. As a result, he quoted me an outrageous price to fix things that did not need to be fixed. I am choosing to believe this was a result of inexperience as opposed to dishonesty. I will not be using Blanton's ever again.

I just needed to get two faucets installed, that I already had, in our master bath vanity. No removal no additional plumbing (I know this because I ended up doing it). The quoted price was just over 1700 dollars for what took me 30 minutes to do. The only reason I wanted a plumber to do it was because I didn't feel like doing it but I did after that quote. Please tell me if that's a reasonable price to install a faucet, if so, I'll do it for half that just message me.

Not one to normally leave reviews but after three times of working with this company to fix what they called an easy fix, I have had it. I had Gilmar come out on a Wednesday to fix my ac. The part they needed to be replaced which triggers Ac to shut off to avoid flood was not available. Therefore, I had to get a secondary trigger put on as it was safety issue and I had to pay for it, also pay for
The new piece to come in. Just before all this, Blanton said I was no longer a member as my membership had expired less than a
Month ago. However they still owed me maintenance appointment.... fast forward to the day my part came in. Gilmar replaces it and leave within 30 minutes. Less than an hour after he leaves, my AC is out AGAIN.... call them back and I have to wait 3 hours before someone comes back. 1. If I have two things doing the same job, why did my ac stop working if one was not installed correctly??? 2. How terribly trained are these technicians that Gilmar left a loose wire... well again let's fast forward to less than a week, my AC is out. Of course now it's on a weekend so I call on Sunday, and they cannot get anyone out here until Monday morning... in all this, i have a toddler who can't sleep because she is sweating and I am 6 months pregnant. All
This could have been avoided if the job was done correctly the first time... I was thinking of reviewing a membership but after this experience, They don't deserve any more of my money.

We needed our panel upgraded and some other work on our 1950's wood 1200 sq ft house. The first quote was for $37,000. The second quote was $27,000 and finally to just do the bare minimum was $4,700. Will never call them again.

We moved into NC a year and a half ago and because of seeing Blanton trucks in the neighborhood, we decided to call and start using them for our needs. They were/are expensive, but we felt worth it due to quality. Then things started to happen. The quote they gave for the plumbing included a $1200 faucet - some $1000 over actual cost. They quoted me $200 to change a light bulb - which was reduced to $60 after complaining. They then told me they could fix the recessed lights to flat ones that lasted longer - for $500 each ($3000 total). With all this, we still got a new HVAC from them for some 13k. No servicing, no appointments, nothing since. I called this week and was told because I didn't tell them I wanted to keep service after a year, they discontinued it. They then told me that I could have saved $50 a month if I paid monthly vs yearly... something never mentioned day one. They then said there was a better plan that we could've gotten after the HVAC, but I was never told about that either. After telling a manager about all my complaints, they said little and then proceeded to tell me we could listen to recorded messages - as if my disappointments would be fixed that way. I've had it with their bait and switches, their extra fees, their lack of follow ups, and their uncaring managers. I told them I was leaving... they thought 3 free months would equate to an apology. Nope. Found a better company. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I was just ripped off by Blantons after waiting all day for the technician ! I called them to get some motion sensor flood lights replaced and was assured that the tech would have what I needed with him to make the repair. Dude shows up with no lights , and after sitting in his truck for 30 minutes gives me an estimate of almost $1200 bucks to replace 4 lights and $500 to replace 2 (that's if I supplied the lights) ! I could have installed them myself in the time it took to prepare the bloated estimate for the services he could not provide ! What exactly did I pay $100 dollars for ? ‍

We had Blantons come out to our property twice bc our heater was not working properly. They got it working but  had to return to fix it the very next day and change our thermostat.

We tried to turn on our AC last week. What do you know-when they installed our thermostat, they did not wire it correctly and left the red jumper off. I tried to reach out to them to express my dissatisfaction but they did not reply. I do not recommend them and think they should spend less money on billboards and more money on employee training.

Way over priced for the services they provide. Better companies in the area with better products, warranties, and reasonably priced.

Charged me over $550 to change the outlets in one bedroom and told me it would be correct and not have the same issue again. 4 months later, the same issue happened with the outlets. The worst part, they wanted to charge me again. I called another local company and they said Blanton's did it wrong. The other company did the whole job for 4 rooms for $140 total. Do not use this company. Also, the other company said if any issues happen within 1 year, they would come out again for free.

Blanton's is the best HVAC company I've used in my 25 years in Fayetteville! I am so glad I discovered them this year. Prices are very reasonable. Quick service. Reliable. My last technician - Ismael Hernandez was absolutely top notch! Professional and took the time to really clean and evaluate my units.  Highly recommend Blanton's and plan to be a permanent customer.

We have used Blanton before on some other properties and have always been pleased with their work, however this last time has been awful. My wife called them about a bathroom fan that needed to be replaced. Once the tech came out he quoted us 1000 to replace. We told him no and he said he atleast had to cap the wires for safety. The bill came to 630 to cap a couple wires. Once I saw the charge I called them to have someone explain why the bill was so high , and after trying to get in touch with a manager they forwarded me to the electrician. He said yea it would cost anybody else about 40 but since they are professionals they upcharge it alot. I told him I understand and we probably won't be calling them anymore, and he proceeded to say good we have 100s of customers you don't matter. The only good part were the customer service girls, they were very polite.

Had a issue with the initial service, but Angela went above and beyond to fix the issue. Anyone who cares for their customers like that deserves 5 stars. If you're looking for a company that will go the extra mile call Blanton's. Thanks Blanton's.

GFCI outlet went out in garage on a Saturday.  Called our usual electrician and couldn't come for 10 days!
Did online search and this company said they could come Tuesday.  There was one really bad review I read but others were very good so chanced it.  The reviewer complained about the cost not the service. Could NOT be happier. Matt fixed the issue and carefully checked entire house. He came wearing a mask and always put on booties when he entered house.  He was friendly, professional, and competent.  Price very reasonable. And he told me they offer plumbing and HVAC services too.  Blanton's has a new, happy customer.  Old service provider is out.

Stay away from this company!  They charged me $100 service fee to come out, just to tell me it was going to cost over $800 to replace my garbage disposal.  The part was $115 of that cost, which leaves north of $700 for labor, which was estimated to take 45 mins to an hr to replace.  Even the service tech noted how ridiculous their labor cost is.  Unless you want to waste your $100, don't waste your time with these guys.  They are price gauging and taking advantage of people.  Part of me thinks their business model is to collect service fees, hence why they charge outrageous amounts for labor.  Terrible!
