I have wanted recessed lights in my home for sometime now.  I asked around and Johnathan Brown Electric was recommended to me.  I called and set up an appointment for one of their electricians to come out and take a look.  The receptionist that answered the phone was polite and friendly!   The day before my in-home estimate they emailed to remind me of the appointment.  Good communication on their part!  
Matthew arrived well within the 2 hour window they had given me.  He was also very friendly, professional and polite.  After our walkthrough and his recommendations I decided to move forward with the Price he Quoted and he was able to do the installation right then and their!  I was very pleased with this and it absolutely met my expectations!  
I will mention that because of an old light fixture that was originally placed above my Kitchen sink at the time my home was built there is still a little bit of patch up work to be done on my part to make the necessary repairs.  However the work that Matthew did was excellent, he installed 2 ultra thin recessed lights, 1 of which was replacing the old fixture I mentioned and the other one in a spot above the oven where there was no fixture before! he also upgraded 1 of my dimmable light switches in my guest bathroom.
I am so pleased that I have actually already made an additional appointment for him to come and add a recessed light above my newly renovated shower!  Matthew definitely knows what he is doing and he does it with ease.  At the end of the day I trust him!  So thank you!

Friendly, efficient and fair.  I had Johnathon Brown Electric diagnose and fix a problem with a circuit breaker.  Had such a good experience that I also asked the tech to replace a faulty light fixture on the spot.  Definitely plan to use them for future work.

It's hard to find a good electrician, but Johnathon Brown Electric is so great, I'm already trying to find more lighting projects.

After 12 years of tolerating the fluorescent light in the kitchen, the fella and I finally decided it was time to enter the 21st century. I emailed Johnathon Brown Electric to get a quote on putting in recessed lights along with pendants over the kitchen counter. They emailed me back within an hour and had an electrician out later that same day - a Friday, no less - for a quote.

Ryan was really great at walking us through everything we wanted, what it would take to do it, how long it would take, and how much it would all cost. I asked a million questions, and he had to answer me like I know nothing about lights and wiring... because I don't. But he was so patient! He was able to give us a quote when he came out, and we got on the schedule within a couple of weeks. Each time he came out, we got an emailed schedule reminder along with a call when he was on his way.

The job itself couldn't have gone better. The lights look amazing, and Ryan cleaned up everything perfectly after he was done. The cost was exactly what he quoted us, and you definitely get what you pay for.

Jonathon did several items for me with amazing and timely results.  He replaced all the outlets in my home from almond to white, replaced two ceiling fans and installed a new ceiling fan in a room that had no wiring or attic.  The work is A+, price was fair and the professionalism is the best in the industry.  I have had other contractors recently come work on things and Johnathon and his team are leaps above the rest.  I highly recommend!

OMG!  These people are PHENOMINAL!!  From the first conversation with Michelle, the office manager I was hooked!!  First introduction really does make a difference; meaning the first person that picks up that phone can make or break your business!  I can't say enough for the knowledge, skills and ability starting with Michelle.  My technician was Brandon.  I was skeptical when I first saw him because he looked so young!  But he knew his stuff and saved me alotttttttt of money simply by not only fixing the issue, but EDUCATING me, which is invaluable!  This is my electric company from now on praise God!!  Thank you Michelle and Brandon for great customer service from the initial phone call until Brandon finished the job!  GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and EDUCATORS!!!  Thank you so much for taking away my worries with this electrical issue!

I had service tech Devon out today to install a ceiling fan in my guest room. He provided excellent service from start to finish. The price I paid was also less than any other quotes I had received. I will definitely call Johnathon Brown again for my electrical needs in the future. I highly recommend them!

Great service from Johnathon and his team. I was impressed by the receptionist, who,tried to help over the phone by suggesting to try resetting GFI breakers to correct the problem. Will definitely use them again.

I had Johnathon Brown do a repair job at my previous property in Pineville, NC. The electrician was courteous, professional, & explained everything well. Being impressed with that experience, I asked them to quote a much more extensive job at my new property in Charlotte. They came out two weeks ago & said they'd have a quote for me at the beginning of the following week. After not hearing from them, I called the following Friday for a status, and they said they'd get it out to me. Never heard back, so I called them again the following Wednesday - again no response. I am quite disappointed in the lack of communication.

Update -
The company apologized for the lack of communication. Johnathon Brown himself came out to gather more information; apparently the original electrician did not get everything needed. He was thorough in explaining all the known & potential challenges for the work that I desire. Hopefully I will get the actual estimate soon, but a decent service recovery effort so far.

Very pleased with the end result and the professionalism of the electricians that came out. Prices were on par with basically everyone else but I just had a good feeling about them and it paid off. Highly recommend and will be calling them again in the future.

Discovered them through the Nextdoor app. Came out the same day, left to get parts and back in under one hour to take care of the small electrical need. Reasonably priced. Or at least it seemed reasonable to me especially since I needed it done by a licensed electrician. Definitely recommend them and will use them in the future. Matthew, the tech, answered all my questions and relayed all relevant information to me.

I found Johnathan Brown Electric on a neighborhood website. I was so nervous about finding the right Electrician but when I contacted the rep and read the reviews, it all gave me a piece of mind. She was able to get someone to come out right away to give me a FREE estimate to do Electrical working in my Living Room and Kitchen. Matthew came out and he was very knowledgeable and informative. He talked me through the whole process and even made recommendations. He never tried to upsell me and provided excellent customer service the entire time. Definitely recommend!!!!

Absolutely outstanding, from start to finish. Great office scheduled my appointment quickly, and the electrician they sent was both friendly and a consummate professional. Price was reasonable, and work completed efficiently but no rush. The experience was so ideal, I have moved several home projects that involve electric up the priority list, because I know I have these guys as a resource for the jobs. My absolute highest recommendation!

We discovered Johnathon through Google.  We called to make an appointment for a free estimate.  The person who answered the phone was very friendly and professional.  Once the appointment was made Johnathon arrived on time.  We wanted to install an outdoor fan.  He performed a thorough  inspection of the area and recommended different options for us to consider.  Once we decided on the best option for us Johnathon returned and installed the fan in a very professional and efficient manner,  Never once did he try to sell us something we .didn't want.  He also did an amazing job installing can lights for us.  We highly recommend this company.  BTW... He is reasonable.

Incredibly fast response time.  I submitted a request on-line at the end of the day and they still had two electricians to my house by 5:00.  My issues were addressed quickly.  The electricians were very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly.  They were very professional and  courteous.  I will not hesitate to call them again in the future.

I have nothing but good to say about Johnathon and his company. His response to my first two calls for service were things that needed attention quickly. His response was almost immediate. He is very reasonably priced. He was friendly and respectful of me and my home. On his second visit he recommended I install a surge protector. There was no pressure from him to do this, just a suggestion due to all the storms we'd been having. I agreed and had it installed because the first time I hired him was to fix outlets that had blown during a storm. I lost a TV in that storm as well. The TV and the electrical work cost me almost triple the cost of the surge protector. You can trust Johnathon!!

This review is a pleasure to write.  I had a large amount of work to be done in a short amount of time. Jonathon and his crew showed up on time,  neatly uniformed, ready to work. I was so pleased with how concerned they were with my satisfaction, that I've since hired them again to do additional work and will continue to use them exclusively. I had under cabinet lights installed at my house. They came out and did great work. They were very nice and efficient. The guy that came out seemed very professional and even put little booties on before he came in. They were a wonderful company to work with.
