Best Plumbing Services in Missouri
This is an update to a previous review. I had Bill out to my house a few times and he has always done good work. However, he subbed out a job that was supposed to be a few easy things. One of the things was a shower faucet replacement. I knew he would need to go into a wall on the other side of the shower and that was not a problem. However, he talked me into replacing all the plumbing from the upstairs to the basement and said it would be easy with only one more hole in the living room necessary. After 3 days of work, I had 4 holes in my walls, one shower had no water and the other had only hot water. And he switched the hot and cold to the shower that had hot water only. I finally called AB May and they were able to fix his mess in one day with 2 more holes in the ceiling of the living room at a price of $1300. For some reason, the sub cut the pipes to the second shower and never reconnected them. When I asked the sub why there was no water to the other shower, he tried to tell me the lines were clogged and he could redo the plumbing, but would need to go into the floor of the bedroom. Now, as I repair the holes, I am discovering how bad he butchered the walls when he made the holes (plaster walls). These are not clean, even holes that are going to be easy to patch. Based on this, I would not recommend as I trusted him to send someone that would do a good job in his place.

I've had Malcolm come to both the century old homes I've owned in the past three years. He's prompt, thorough, and affordable! Plus, he's always got a good story! A++

Knowledgeable phone rep that took the time to listen to the problem and said he couldn't help because he didn't carry what I was looking for but directed me to a competitor that probably could. Another COA will be to come back to them and utilize them to accomplish what I ultimately might need done.

They were hired to replace a cracked sewer line in January 2019. They were my third estimate and yes the lowest bid. A job that was started in February is still incomplete now in July. After numerous other companies have stated this job should've taken a couple of weeks to maybe even a month tops. Nothing but excuse after excuse from the employees. First there was water coming into the trench and the city would need to come out and see where the water was coming from. Then, the inspector won't approve the work if the soil is still wet (that was all crap, the city said they don't inspect sewer line replacements). Then, well it's been too much rain-we've had 45 days of rain...okay, yet your FB page shows a multitude of work being performed in other areas during the same time period. I'm so over this company and their employees. NEVER AGAIN! And NO, I don't recommend them. Photos are of what I look at everyday AND what my neighbors are complaining about to my neighborhood association.

Fast. Competent. Reasonable. Called on a Saturday with a drain problem. Crew arrived within an hour. Addressed the problem and charged me less that what several others quoted. Highly recommended.

I am pretty disappointed in Advocate Master Plumber. I needed a new shutoff valve in my home. Jerry came out and replaced it with a shark bite ball valve but charged me $320 parts and labor. Being a single Mom and not knowing about trusting someone to charge you a fair price and not taking advantage, I paid it. It was only after talking to my brother that I found out I was grossly overcharged. National average of installing a shut off valve is between $173 to $208, which sounds reasonable. What I was charged for after 1 hour of work not so much, I would not recommend him to anyone.

We had consistent sewer gas smell in our master bath. I heard about Connelly plumbing on the radio and gave them a call. They gave us a suggestion to try before coming out and charging us. It didn't work so we called back. We got an appointment for a few days later, not an emergency. They showed up 5 minutes early and thoroughly investigated our problem. They also checked out our kitchen faucet while there. Gave us lots of great information and advice and didn't suggest any expensive fixes. And they didn't charge us for anything. I highly recommend them for any plumbing issues as they are honest, friendly, professional and reliable.

We had a faucet that had a significant leak on a Sunday afternoon. Many companies could not get to us until Monday. We called Lutz Plumbing and had a plumber at our home within the hour. Willis was knowledgeable and worked quickly and efficiently. He explained the repair and the price so there were no surprises. I was so pleased with his great customer service!

Had very similar experience that Adam J. had in 2013 although we bought our Lennox in 2009 which we paid nearly 6K for. Customer service and tech service thereafter has been HORRIBLE. The last experience was just during this Arctic cold and a month after our annual furnace maintenance. This is the SECOND time this has happened after an annual furnace check. So almost a month to the day later our furnace goes out. This is Arctic temps in KC but Midwest only has one lone service tech on call. We call on a Friday and get postponed to Saturday (Why? To get the extra off hours fee?). Anyway, the tech comes and says yup the furnace is broke now pay me money. We say wait a minute, we'll pay you when you fix it! He says nope you pay and then I leave and sometime I'll come back and fix it. So right away we called our original salesman who was on our side saying don't pay it until he fixes it. Then he calls back and has a different tune saying you have to pay and then he'll leave and get the part to fix it. So THEY DON'T KEEP PARTS ON THE TRUCK. This whole practice it was explained, is supposedly to keep people from calling other businesses. All we wanted the the gd furnace fixed! They trusted us enough to get our $6,000 but don't enough to come back and get paid after they fix the furnace??? I really don't get these people. We were stuck in a freezing house with potentially no hope for repair because of these jerk offs! Eventually it was fixed but we will never, never EVER trust them again. Don't just walk, RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY!!!!
