We had a hot water heater leak.  I had called three other plumbers before trying Your 1 Plumber.  The first one I called only works Monday - Friday.  The next did not have a technician available until the next day even though they promise same day service and when I called the third company, The phone was answered automatically by a recording asking me to hold.  I hung up after 5 minutes of being on hold listening to a recording of the great customer service they provide!  

I found Your 1 Plumber online and it only had one review.  But it was a positive review and I was desperate, so I called.  The phone was answered by a human.  Wilmer arrived to our door 20 minutes later.  This was on a Saturday late afternoon.  He was polite and professional.  He explained what we needed and gave us options.  He cleaned up the work area after he finished.  We will call this company again.

Tim provided quick same-day service on a Sunday! His price was competitive and fair. He showed up early, was professional and down-to-earth. I had twin bathroom sinks that were not draining. He snaked down to the main and replaced the p-track and another pipe. He takes Venmo and check (and credit card with a fee). If you want to see more reviews he is highly rated on Thumbtack. I would highly recommend Tim!

Josh came out to our house, after out basement was flooded with a burst pipe.  He quickly identified the area where the pipe burst and affected a timely and effecient repair.  We had the water back on quickly and his work was excellent.  He also cleaned up after he was done and did a really fine job. We will use his services again.  It was a really good experience  during a very trying time.

My kitchen pipes were unfortunate victims of the recent polar vortex, and decided at an inopportune moment to burst, sending water through to my basement floor.  (Not that any moment is opportune, but you know.)  I called a family member in desperation, sobbing out my heartbreak, when she recommended that I call Bay Plumbing and Heating - she's used them for a number of years and has always spoken highly of them.  I was willing to try anything at this point, since I couldn't take a shower or wash dishes or flush my toilet, etc.

You get the idea.

So I contacted Bay Plumbing and, to my delight, a pleasant gentleman named Bob returned my call within the hour.  After describing the problem to him, he agreed to come over and have a look.  Not even an hour later, he was actually here with his electrician partner, checking out the basement and the kitchen for the source of the leak.  Turned out that it was caused by a non-used icemaker outlet where a pipe was installed - the below zero temperatures had frozen the pipe completely, and when it began to warm up, the pipe expanded and burst.  Bob was very quick to disconnect the pipe and cleared up the mess in almost no time at all.  

Total charge was 95 dollars - very fair, considering the amount of work that he did (busting sheetrock and all).

I was very pleased with the service I received from Bay Plumbing and Heating, even MORE impressed with their response time, and would highly recommend them.  Now I know why my family member has kept them such a closely guarded secret!

Have used them twice now. They do a great job. Fixed what I needed both times with one visit. Their service is fast, courteous and reasonably priced. They clean up when they finish. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

In as few words as possible, I've had plumbers come to my home in the past and not once have I been satisfied with the work done, it was horrible. In one situation the plumber actually made things worst, I told him to leave my home and not dare ask me for any payment.
There's an old saying that THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT IS WORD OF MOUTH.  I have to say this statement is so true. I got Anne Arundel Plumbing to come to my home for a small job. They arrived as scheduled and Jeff the plumber was very personal and professional. His handling of my plumbing issue shows me that he takes pride in his workmanship, and most importantly that he cares for his customers in the quality of work he did for me. I will be using them again in the future and would highly recommend Anne Arundel Plumbing to anyone looking for a reliable plumbing company.

Justin with Level has been wonderful to work with. He is knowledgable and doesn't stop until the job is done!  Justin is clean and neat and efficient. The whole team at Level has been wonderful to work with!!  Level recommend particular units for my house and I have not been disappointed!  I appreciate finally having a quality company turn to for HVAC needs!!!!!

Typically, I don't like to write review and bad mouth a company solely based on my personal view. But I am going to make an expectation for Ken Griffin Plumbing.

Let me make it clear, this review is directly towards Kathy Griffin's ability to handle customer inquiries.  I had a small leak in my house, which Ken Griffin plumbing came and opened up my dry wall for repairs. I was told someone will contact me to schedule an appointment for patch the dry wall, I waited 2 weeks and no one called me.

I finally decided to call Ken Griffin plumbing and ask for an appointment. Kathy Griffin asked me to send her a picture where I need the repairs, then promised to call me the day after. Three weeks went by, and no one called. I was stupid enough to call them again last week, and it is the same old story that I will get back to you tomorrow.

I highly suggest you stay away from this company for your own sanity. There are other plumbers in Howard County you can call and get much better customer service.

I cannot begin to express how much I love these people! They came out to replace my water pump while I was in the process of baking 300 cupcakes for my son's wedding. The job was done the same day. Chris , the technician, is absolutely incredible. I was having issues with sediment afterward and thought I had the problem licked but unfortunately I had not. I called Apple who immediately send Chris back out for no charge to correct the problem for me. Who else in the world would do that for you these days? Again, I love these people!!

A little over 1 year ago First Class Mechanical replaced my well pressure tank.  The work was done well and on time.  lt turned out the tank i was sold was defective and needed to be replaced.  The tank was covered under a 7 year warranty so I was not charged for the tank.  However, the 1 year labor warranty had expired.   I expected to pay a reasonable fee for the labor.  I was charged $550 for 1 hour of labor to replace the tank First Class originally sold me that was defective.    
I will not use First Mechanical again and will discourage others from using their service based on their fees.   I was sold a defective piece of equipment and charged twice to install it.

I am currently having a nightmarish leak that we noticed at first as ceiling stains that grew over a 3 day period. Called DYZ and 4 other companies that said they were working on Labor day. DYZ is the only company that picked my call. The others never responded to my messages. DYZ is a highly professional group. They had a busy day so the Customer service rep set me up for an appointment day after labor day (today) and promised to call if a tech became available on labor day. By 2PM I got the call.

Janis, the technician that came to find the source of the leak, was extremely knowledgable and businesslike. He inspected the walls above and around the leak, the Attic and AC unit and was so knowledgable he assured us that the water stain patterns suggest we don't have a leaky pipe. Rather we have a crack somewhere in the bathroom that is letting water in. Then he correctly suggested someone was having luxe showers that lasted more than 20mins thus giving the water sufficient volume to puddle and create a source for the leak.  I knew he was onto something because this character exists in my home. He talked about the perils of our fiberglass shower bin as a potential culprit and he was right. He cut the ceiling by following the track of water stains and found the epicenter not long after. Bad news is we have to replace the shower bin. Good news is thanks to Janis, we have an accurate assessment. If we had a leaky pipe I won't hesitate to give them the contract.
Janis is an experienced water tracker. I definitely will call them if I ever had a plumbing problem. They know what they are doing and are courteous. They explain each problem and recommendation to you - the whys. They are simply very good.

My water pressure was really low in my home, and I didn't even realize this until I called Saffer Plumbing. They sent Rick Wright out to assess my outdoor hose bib (which I realized was flawed when I had a new irrigation system put in for my garden).  

Rick identified the problem, and did an overall assessment of the plumbing in my townhome which is 15 years old.  He offered a reasonable price, including a discount for paying up front.  They are not paid by commission, so there was no incentive for him to sell me more plumbing work other than to help me.

Saffer plumbing also sends reminder emails and texts, and their plumbers are on time and professional.  I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

We called Mike's Plumbing after an expert installer from L*we$ snapped off the water supply line behind the kitchen wall while installing a new dishwasher.  Mike sent over Charlie in less than 30 minutes.  We couldn't have asked for a nicer and more professional plumber!  And he wasn't even showing a standard plumber's butt crack (LOL).  

He got right to work and fixed the problem in record time!

If you need a plumber that is personable, professional, and knows his trade - call Mike's and ask for Charlie - you'll be glad you did!!

I called for emergency to have work done and I found this small for people company in Hamden that did extraordinary work in my basement I called them on a Sunday eight at night he was at my house seven in the morning Monday morning Covid protected more professional than I first thought I would recommend anyone with any plumbing problems within a 40 mile area of Hamden these guys and lady are good and they also do other than plumbing they do home-improvement. And they're very good, also they work with you anybody has any problems don't be afraid to give them a chance it's a big company start out first small then big but I think these guys are going to stay small because they all know what they're doing and they all are licensed

Myplumber called to ask if I needed heat or cooling service.  I told them my heat and cooling units are fine since I had recently replaced them but asked if they service humidifiers.  They said yes and offered to come out for free to take a look.  A service person came in, examined the humidifier, and wanted to charge me for examination.  He did not perform any work.  I told him this service was promised to me as free.  He slammed my front door as he walked out.  He slammed the door so hard that my door is now making squeaky noise every time we shut the door.

Today I received a bill for $234.  Void this bill, otherwise, I will pursue further actions.  Do not call again with your fraudulent promises.

Not impressed. Very high prices. The bathtub I ordered from them was defective and had to be sent back (took about a week).

Then the bathtub faucet (nothing fancy - just a basic Moen faucet) I ordered from them took over 4 weeks from the time it was ordered to get to me after they promised 7-10 days.

I recommend you try some place else.

So this is an unfortunate review to have to write, but the experience I had is one that I wish on no one.

It's a long one but here's the premise: You should only get work done with Gambrill if you want to have to worry about getting charged more than you need at every turn and have to advocate for you and the services you ALREADY PAID FOR when their workers are tired of working.  

Gambrill was recommended by a neighbor who noted they had work done many years ago and absolutely loved it. What we got was nowhere near their experience and it is clear that the work has diminished over the years. We were quoted for nearly 4K to replace a water line and do some work around the house (change a spout that was not working, replace a tailpiece in a bathroom). This was all ok as we were quoted for a very similar price by another company but decided to go with the one that was formerly reviewed highly by someone we knew. The response time was quick and we had someone out doing the work, that's exactly when the issues began. We were told they could no longer do the tailpiece to the bathroom lavatory because it would take much longer to replace, though we were quoted for it and paid for it. The workers became not kind at this point. We had to go back and forth a couple of times to ensure this actually would happen. They had to remove some wall in the basement to install a pressure regulator and in the contract it notes they will replace the drywall. They said they would do it at an additional charge and I had not double-checked the contract so we were charged in excess of $800 to get drywall in because of the labor hours, I get that drywall takes long to dry but the guy working was not having a good time and seemed slower than he should've been. Days later I realize that we were doubly charged for this and that our sidewalk had not been put in, just a pile of dirt where the waterline goes out. Again, they stated it'd be an additional charge and that actually was not on the contract though the two workers had mentioned many times it'll be taken care of by us. That one was on me, except they had charged us twice for a service and as soon as I mentioned it they said ok we will do it (a charge of $500). Gets taken care of, looks fine, but the excavating caused so much dirt and giant piles of rock to come up and so now we have a huge pile of dirt and crap on our front lawn. When I asked someone to come out and help level it they said there is nothing they can do, and quote, I'm not God. I can't level it. So, sure get work done with Gambrill if you want to have to worry about getting charged more than you need at every turn and have to advocate for you and the services you ALREADY PAID FOR when their workers are tired of working.

I called on a Saturday (day) because I had an emergency water leak.  The woman on the phone told me someone would be calling right away.  No one called and Bruce left me hanging all weekend with NO WATER.  They called on Monday morning to see if I wanted to them to come out.  I said NO.  I've been a long time customer and I will never use them again.  If you're in a bind, call someone else!

After American Home Shield assigned this company to my claim about a hot water heater leaking rusty water, and reading all the one-star reviews, I was pretty anxious about the ordeal I was about to go through with this company.  I even tried to get AHS to reassign another plumber to the claim, but they wouldn't do it.

But the plumbers who came took about five minutes looking at the leaking rusty water and determined I needed a new hot water heater, called AHS and made the arrangements, and came back four days later (Thursday to a Monday, so a weekend in between).  They installed a new 50-gallon AO Smith water heater, and the whole installation took about 45 minutes.

Maybe AHS has cleaned up their act some after being subject to a couple class-action law suits, but I really had no complaints with this experience.  I'm giving them four stars only because they gave me a five-hour window each time they came to the house (but did arrive within the promised window both times) and because although I haven't experienced any problems with the installation so far, it's only been five days, so time will tell if I need to have them back to fix any problems.
