I hired Ken Griffin Plumbing as recommended by Fireside Patio for installation of a gas line for a new fireplace insert. Great service from start to finish. The consultation included an on-site visit that provided two options to run the line with costs for each, as well as a recommendation to get the gas meter upgraded. The installation went even better.  A year later and everything is still working great!!

Ken Griffin plumbers have completed quite a few repairs and installed plumbing and gas lines for our pool.  Each job has been completed with a high degree of quality in a small amount of time.  The plumbers that visited us were all courteous and friendly.

Weird, weird, weird  situation.  Their plumbers are pretty good overall, I had some good service calls at first.  Prices started good but then jumped up!  But then service got very hit or miss.  A few things were not fixed completely (hey, it happens) so  I finally called. I don't need a discount, it is just that if I take off work, I just want stuff done completely.  Kathy is the boss and she asked me to take photos and email them so I did, took time and tried to send details.  No response at first (see other reviews re: not responsive) so I emailed again.  I then got a ginormous email outlining everything they had ever done at our home with so you see we have been good to you.  Apparently it is acceptable to fix things some of the time and that should cover when things are NOT fixed completely?  The end of the email stated she was an educator and it was a teachable moment. for me. I did not ask to be educated on plumbing, I just wanted stuff fixed.

Re: WATER HEATERS  their water heater guy said we would have to rebuild the closet completely.  This is our second water heater in 25 years, the other two companies installed without even mentioning our closet being a problem!  This is one of the issues I mentioned to  Kathy and she  asked me to provide photos and info on this (I no longer needed KG services but obliged her).  Part of her email manifesto she wrote  your water heater is a cheap one and will fail soon.  LOL!!  See other reviews, you may find yourself wasting your time.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

We have had two totally distinct experiences with this company.

Pro:
In the winter, our polybutalene service pipes needed urgent repair because it had burst. Ken Griffin Co. came out quickly to assess the situation, made competent recommendations, and then fixed the pipes. They needed to cut through drywall in the house as part of the reparations. They came back within a week to fix it, and did an excellent job.

Con:
They left the yard in absolute upheaval, looking as though a body had been hastily buried there. They promised to return in early spring to grade the yard and plant grass.
We have been calling since March to ask when they will be out to fix it, and each time, the woman answering the phones, tells us in a discourteous tone that we are on a list of people waiting to have their yards fixed. Each time, she also claims not to be in possession of the list, and therefore cannot tell us when it will be fixed.
Our yard has been an absolute eyesore for 6 months now. It's an utter disaster and embarrassment. You can't you haven't been warned.

Ken griffin plumbing is the best. I am a facilities manager for a school. Ken griffin by far one of the best contractors I deal with. Fast, Quality work, easy to work with, and very reasonable price. Ken is a very nice guy. The lady's in the office are very very nice. I highly recommend Ken Griffin Plumbing Services.

I hired Ken Griffin Plumbing for several projects between 2009 and 2016. Their work was consistently solid. They were always open to questions and answered them thoroughly. They were my go-to for plumbing. But I've stopped hiring them, despite their good work, because it became difficult to arrange projects with them. I called and described the needed work. At their request, I sent them pictures. I waited a week but did not hear back. I called again. They apologized for the delay and promised to follow up within 1 day. I waited 2 or 3 days and then called again. And so on - only incremental progress was being made over several weeks. Tired of wasting time, I started looking for a plumbing service that not only did good work but also had reliable customer service.

I am in awe of the amazing service I got from Ken Griffin and his team today.  My water heater went up and Ken and his team replaced it in record time today.  The office staff was incredibly helpful and kind.

I am very surprised of the business that is conducted at Ken Griffin Plumbing. I called in for help to have a toilet potentially tightened and they said it was not a problem. A day later they called back and said it would be a minimum $450 just to see if they were working properly (tightened). After signing a contract with my potential buyer Ken Griffin came back and changed what they said they would do. So frustrating, this is bad business!

The polybutylene pipe busted in my yard on a Saturday.  Had the water shut off and waited until Monday to call and get estimates to replace it.  I called Ken Griffin Plumbing and Heating first and Brian was very courteous and helpful and was able to send someone out to my house without me being home (I had to go to work that day) to give an estimate.  I was actually home when Bob came by and he too was professional and friendly.  I called another plumber and I had them scheduled to come out the next morning and one plumber was to call me back to schedule an appointment.

The quote came in at a very fair price, I know because I compared it to what some of my neighbors have paid.  The came out on Tuesday morning right on time and the entire team was professional, friendly and courteous.  The worked tirelessly on a very hot day and had to dig by hand a 3.5 foot tunnel to my house.

There was quite a large mound at the end of the job that I wasn't quite expecting.  I knew their would be a mound as they could not pack the dirt in as tight as it was.  I questioned the head of the crew about it and he said it was normal.  It was late and we were all tired so I decided to wait until the next day and call Brian back and ask him about it.  In the meantime, I did take several pictures of the mound.  When I called Brian the next morning, he indicated that it was likely a normal size mound and that it needed a couple of good rains to pack it down.  He said if my yard wasn't level in 1-2 months they would come back out and redistribute the dirt as needed.  He was going to have someone drive by anyway to see if the mound was excessively high.  That was yesterday and I haven't heard from him, but I'm sure it's not at the top of their list.  If I haven't heard from Brian by the end of today, I will call him in the morning.

I would have rated Ken Griffin Plumbing & Heating 5 stars, but I will hold off and see if there is a problem with my yard, that they return and level it out after 1-2 months.

They are highly rated in Howard County and seem to care about making the customer happy.  I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Typically, I don't like to write review and bad mouth a company solely based on my personal view. But I am going to make an expectation for Ken Griffin Plumbing.

Let me make it clear, this review is directly towards Kathy Griffin's ability to handle customer inquiries.  I had a small leak in my house, which Ken Griffin plumbing came and opened up my dry wall for repairs. I was told someone will contact me to schedule an appointment for patch the dry wall, I waited 2 weeks and no one called me.

I finally decided to call Ken Griffin plumbing and ask for an appointment. Kathy Griffin asked me to send her a picture where I need the repairs, then promised to call me the day after. Three weeks went by, and no one called. I was stupid enough to call them again last week, and it is the same old story that I will get back to you tomorrow.

I highly suggest you stay away from this company for your own sanity. There are other plumbers in Howard County you can call and get much better customer service.

The Ken Griffin Plumbing everybody has loved for years is no more. Last year Ken sold the company to HomeServe, a corporate giant now owned by Brookfield Asset Management, a private equity investor. (So no longer family owned, as Angi still says. Link below.)

Yesterday a Griffin plumber came to do a routine kitchen faucet replacement. (I already had the faucet.) He was very uncomfortable quoting the price set by his new bosses: $800! (This included replacing two valves he said were faulty.) I paid the $135 callout fee, sent him on his way and will never use them again.

Perhaps you should discount all the Ken Griffin reviews left before mid-2022. It's a very different company now.

We have had them out to our house more times than I can count (thank you to my old house and old pipes). Each time they come they are quick, informative and professional. They are always the ones we call when we have a plumbing emergency and I highly recommend.

Used this firm with great results during an emergency plumbing problem. Because of this, called for an estimate on cosmetic updates to three bathrooms and outdoor drains.  Estimate visit occurred promptly.  Six weeks later , after five weekly  phone calls and a promise I would have the estimate at the end if the business day, no estimate, and no contact. Each call had a new excuse. Server was down. I forgot to follow up.  Estimator is back logged. Being busy is ok, poor communication and follow up scares me when the work hasn't started. Go elsewhere.

I've used Ken Griffin Plumbing several times over the years and have always had great service and great results!  Most recently I thought I needed a new disposal - they scheduled a time to come out at my convenience and even arrived a little early!  Sam was super professional, knowledgable, kind, and helpful.  He was able to quickly fix my disposal - and didn't even try to upsell me on a new one!  He gave me some good information and advice, and was able to tell me exactly how to avoid future problems.  I feel like I learned a lot from him!  I have had only positive experiences with Ken Griffen Plumbing over the years.  They've never overcharged me, either!  I will definitely continue to use them when I need a plumber.

Every one of these guys is terrific. They're neat, courteous, hard-working, friendly, and their prices are fair. They come when they say they're going to, and they do the job right. I've had multiple experiences with them, on both emergency and non-emergency calls, and every time I've walked away impressed and satisfied with working plumbing.

I especially love their dispatcher, who always manages to squeeze me in and save me from a weekend of having to use a shrub in my backyard, if you know what I mean ;)

Like so many others who've reviewed them: had them do a couple of small jobs - install a toilet, install a shut-off, etc. - and all went well. Had them look at doing the rest of the accumulated plumbing work ... they took pics, wrote down details, assured me I'd hear from them in a week.

Three weeks, I call. They apologize profusely, and tell me my estimate was going out that very day.

Two weeks. I call. They have no such list of work; no proposal has been worked up. Could I tell them again what it was I wanted? The list included about 15 projects. I started telling them and it was pretty much impossible. But none of it rang any bells.

I asked if they would send someone to start over. (I know, stupid of me, but their reputation - previously - was solid and they'd done some good work, so - a second chance.)

They told me they'd have someone call me that afternoon. They never called.

There's more, but you get the gist: a complete timewaster, and at least two people there will just flat out lie to you on the phone. Oh, yes ... that's going out today, sir ... Hah!

I had a leak from my shower into my dining room.  Someone came 2 days later, which was fine.  He fixed my shower and said that there was something else they could do to the tile around the tub to make sure there were no more leaks.  He said that someone would call me within a week.  No one did.  I waited a few more days and called and was promised that someone would call.  No one did.  I waited another week or two and called, and once again, was told that someone would call.  Guess what?  No one has ever called me back.  I've heard such good things about the company, but I won't be using them again.

I called on Wednesday to have my garbage disposal looked at and they were able to come out on Thursday afternoon and have a look at it.  After pulling a screw out of my disposal, Keith noticed that the pipes under the sink had been poorly installed, and mentioned it before I even had a chance to ask him about it.  I had noticed previously that they were a mess and leaked if you bumped them at all.  So, instead of me having to make another appointment and pay for another hour of service, he fixed them while he was there.  I only had to pay for the parts, which was less than $20.

I am extremely satisfied with them and am happy to have a plumbing service that I can count on!

I called this business to help my elderly mother was a problem regarding her outdoor spigot and the pipes leading from the house to the outside.  They were extremely helpful, efficient, and professional. They arranged for a plumber to come the very next day and gave us a very narrow window of when he would arrive.

They then sent me an email to tell me that my plumbers name was Sam and they sent me a photograph of him so I would know who is coming to my mothers house. Sam arrived on time and he was extremely pleasant and professional. Sam also was wearing gloves and a mask and he made sure to keep his distance from me and my mother. This was extremely courteous of him giving the Covid outbreak and I really appreciated it, especially given my mothers age and physical condition. In fact more than once my mother moved to close to him and Sam politely and casually moved away just to be extra careful.

He was also very communicative about exactly what he was going to do and how long he thought it would take. He stuck to that schedule and he did a great job.

I'd rate Sam and Ken Griffin plumbing higher than five stars if I was allowed to do so.

Fount them to be unethical - adding additional charges after work is completed. Called for a weekend service due to a clogged drain. Turned out to be a clogged drain due to roots growing. Were able to fix the problem within one hour. However, ended charging me significantly extra, in addition to what they quoted over the phone. I was charged extra for them bringing a sewer machine, which I was never notified would entail an extra charge. Only found out when I received the final invoice after all repairs were made. Additionally, they charged me extra for a cleanout plug, which apparently they broke. Again, wasn't notified at all about this until I received the final invoice. After calling the corporate office and trying to dispute the extra charges, I was told that the technician notified me of the extra charges ahead of time.

Our shower was leaking so we called them to come look at it. The plumber was very helpful and diagnosed the source of the leak quickly. Unfortunately to fix the problem we are going to have to tear out the entire shower.  The Plumber left with a promise to send a quote.

Almost three weeks later and after several calls and broken promises that the quote would be sent, I still have not received anything. And never a follow up from them as to why they continue to miss their deadline. Each time the person I spoke with has said she is just too busy. All conversations have been with the owner. We are unable to use the shower until it is fixed so there is a sense of urgency on our end.

I absolutely would not recommend them because the customer service has been terrible after the initial diagnosis. This is unbelievable that they are treating a potential customer this way BEFORE they are even awarded any work. I can only imagine what it would be like if I had a signed contract with them.

Huge disappointment all around.

i have used Ken Griffin Plumbing services 3-4 times and have been impressed with their service and integrity each time.  The first 1-2 times they came out were for second opinions, and they saved me several hundreds of dollars.  Most recently they bought my VERY OLD water heater a few extra months or more.  And today, when my toilets started backing up, they came out within 2 hours.  The sewer -- due to some invasive roots -- was backed up.  The plumbers very neatly removed the toilet, ran the snake and charged me what I thought was a very, very reasonable amount for the hours of service.  And no mess. I was impressed, and am very gracious.

We have used Ken Griffin Plumbing Services many times over the past 20 years and have spent thousands of dollars on their plumbing services. We would definitely consider ourselves very loyal customers. That is why I was extremely disappointed when we called Ken Griffin Plumbing Services this morning (around 8/8:30 am) and the receptionist, Kathy Griffin, was rude, dismissive, and slammed down the phone when we called for help. I completely understand that there are limits to what plumbers can do, but there is no need to be rude and unprofessional about it. Kathy could have just told us politely that Ken Griffin Plumbing Services could not do the job, but instead she used her nastiest, condescending tone and slammed down the phone as hard as she possibly could to hang up. We are no longer calling Ken Griffin Plumbing Services for our plumbing needs any longer.

Good plumbers who communicate well and deliver good results, BUT...

After being a customer for 2 years with multiple service calls and projects Ken Griffin Plumbing surprised me by charging more than twice their cost for materials they acquired during a job (they knew they were needed but forgot to bring them).  I contacted the vendor where they purchased the materials and confirmed the price was less than half of what Ken Griffin charged me.

I thought a quick conversation would resolve the matter and that they would issue a partial refund.  Instead, they refused initially, and ignored later emails and phone messages requesting a discussion of the matter with the owner of the business.

Blowing off your previously satisfied customers over questionable charges is a bad business model - avoid Ken Griffin Plumbing.

Do not make the mistake of using this company.
We used Ken Griffen Plumbing in March 2022 to replace the sump pump in our basement ($1300).
This new sump pump stopped working over the weekend (May 2023), 14 months after it was installed.  Called Ken Griffin Plumbing to let them know of the problem and had them come back out to repair.  They came to the house and told us that that the pump/wire was broken and we had two choices: buy/install a new sump pump or have them take the pump out and send it to the manufacturer for repair.
The better response from the company would have been to replace the pump and send the defective one back to the manufacturer for repair.  They would not do that because the 1 year warranty had passed.
They did however offer us $50 towards a new sump pump.
Not worth the headache dealing with this company and their poor customer service.
We are now without a working bathroom in our basement.

Office Manager is unhelpful and argumentative.  Called on Friday, December 21st to get my my propane water heater replaced.  Kathy gave me an estimate over the phone of $2795.  I thought it was high, but I had water leaking in my basement.  They came out immediately and installed a new one.  Service people were great.  My problem is with getting a receipt and itemized bill from them.  I had to call twice and send two emails before I could even get a receipt for what they charged my credit card. The receipt merely says removal of old water heater and replaced with new water heater $2795.00 - no detail of parts, labor or taxes.  It has now been almost 4 weeks and although I, and my insurance agent, politely asked for an itemized bill, Kathy has refused saying it would be too much work for her.  Seriously!  It is a simple request and her reluctance makes me suspicious of what they charged me.  I have asked for a breakdown of parts and labor, seems reasonable to me, but Kathy argued with me, saying that my insurance company did not need it, that it was like asking a restaurant to give you the cost of the peas in your dinner, etc.  She is most unpleasant and totally unprofessional.  I am now seeking other estimates to make sure I was not taken advantage of.  Griffin should just give me the information I asked for.  I was happy with the work and I paid them immediately.  I thought they were in a service business, but apparently they can't give a paying customer readily available information.  Very Disappointing!

Ken Griffin discovered a pipe issue in our office building when one of our bathrooms had a bad back-up. Ken came out to take a look at the pipe and to quote how much it will cost and said it would take 2 days for us to receive the quote. That was 1 month ago, I called 6 times and each time spoke to Kathy Griffin and she always said it was her intent to get it out that day. I also called to speak to Ken and everytime he would not be available. I do not recommend their services.

I have used Ken Griffin  Plumbing many times and have had service from excellent to mediocre/bad depending on who they send.  The best have done excellent work quickly.  The bad included the following:
1) They were called because of staining on the ceiling just below the water pipes.  The guy looked around for about half an hour and concluded he didn't know, charged me and left.  I later fixed it myself as it was a cold water pipe next to the dryer vent line and was sweating.
2) My water heater suddenly went out and the plumber was putting a replacement thermostat in incorrectly and I had tell him it was incorrect - not a big deal
3) The worst one was a chatty plumber who hung around talking for over a half hour and then charged me for all his talk time.  That made me so upset, that I called the office, complained and asked that they never send him out again.  I should have asked for a refund.
4) Also, I had them come out for an estimate on a larger job and I never heard from them so I gave the job to another plumber.  When the new plumber was well into the job I hear back from them and I had to tell them they were too late.
So, that said, other than the guy who didn't know what to do, their results have always been satisfactory if not great.  Just depends on who is sent.  I will use them again but I will be better about giving them feedback and commenting on Yelp.

Beware of having your time wasted.

Called and talked to the company about getting an estimate for a hot water heater.  Mr Griffin came to the house, did the inspection, then we didn't hear anything from him or the company for a month despite calling them a few times for a status.  They finally emailed today and said that they are not licensed in the city of Rockville to do the work or to provide an estimate and to contact a local plumber.  Information we could have used before taking time off work to meet them and waiting on an estimate.

A couple of year ago, I called KGP for a leak I needed to repair in my powder room. At that time, I was very pleased with the service - the technician (I believe his name was Brent or Brad) arrived on time, was professional, explained the problem thoroughly and, most importantly, fixed the problem. Satisfied with the service, I referred many of my colleagues and friends to KGP. Well, it's too bad, but my recent experience was bad and, as a result, I won't be using KGP or referring anyone to KGP in the future.

Recently, I had a leak that needed to be repaired - this time, in an upstairs bathroom - and the leak was staining the ceiling in the main floor. I called KGP and a technician came out a couple days later (they could not fit me in right away, which wasn't that big of a deal for me). The guy who came out did some work on the toilet (I'm not sure exactly what, as I wasn't home) and left. I was surprised to see that he didn't open up the ceiling to see where exactly the leak was coming from but - I'm not a plumber, so what I do I know.

A couple days later, I noticed that the stain on the ceiling was getting bigger. My husband called KGP and left a message. The next day, he called and left another message - this time, on the emergency call line. We both assumed that KGP will call us right back (afterall, the voicemail said someone will return your call within 20 minutes), but no one called us back. The next day, my husband spoke with someone in the office who apparently told him that she was surprised no one had called us back because they had many emergency calls. The lady told my husband she can get someone out the end of the week, which was unacceptable. She then told my husband she'll have someone out the middle of the week - which, again, was unacceptable (imagine the stain getting bigger, further damaging the ceiling and mold growing in the meantime). She then said she'll talk to someone and call us back. Well, no one called, so my husband called back. Another lady answered and when we asked why no one has called back, she responded that the other lady didn't tell her about it so she didn't know (seriously?). In the end, she scheduled someone to come out the next day.

The next day, another technician came out, and this is where things get a lot worse. The guy replaced something which apparently required him to use a paste that needed to be dried before he could test. Well, he didn't explain any of this and, when asked how we'd be billed for this (considering the fact that the last guy did not fix all the issues resulting in the leak), the guy said he'll give a discount for 50% of what we previously paid, and walked out to this truck. My husband assumed he was going outside to make a call to the company to confirm, and went back to continue his work. Well, the guy didn't come back into the house for about an hour and added that time to the final bill. I have no problem with that if the paste really takes an hour to dry, and I fault my husband for not checking up on the guy who was sitting in his truck for an hour, but I feel like the guy should have explained this. But this is not why I am writing this bad review.

I am writing this bad review because when my husband pointed out the extra hour that was charged, the guy said this to my husband: We can do it two ways. You can pay me or I can call the Sheriff. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? My husband was shocked but, being the nice guy that he is (and also because we had another contractor working in the house), he paid the guy. After the guy left, another contractor that was working at home expressed shock and said could not believe the KGP guy went there.

The guy should be glad that I wasn't home. Seriously - I try to be good to people but I am not nice to those who are unreasonable.

I have no problem paying for a service for which I need to pay. Even if the first guy who came out did not fix the problem (whether it was one or more problems), I wouldn't have had any problem with it if KGP customer service was more responsive and sent someone out quickly. And most, importantly, I wouldn't have posted this review if the guy didn't threaten to call the police INSIDE my own home, and instead, explained the bill and called KGP office to resolve any differences.

I am sure the guy is a nice person and he was doing what he thought he needed to do (get the money and get out to another service), but neither my husband nor I appreciated how he handled the situation.

We have used Griffin Plumbing for over 6 years and have always been very pleased with their work and fair pricing.  They are very fast in response - we have gotten service on the day of the call every time - even for non-emergencies.  Most recently, I had a bunch of odd, small jobs on 5 different items.  They were able to knock out all five jobs in 1.25 hours total.  It is nice to know that you aren't going to get a padded bill at the end of the day!  Their staff have always been a pleasure to work with - and always helpful.  I just don't think that you can find a more honest and better plumbing outfit.

I do not recommend Ken Griffin Plumbing, Dayton, MD at all.  I was treated in a demeaning, insulting, neglectful, and rude manner.  I worked with Kathy Griffin, Service Manager and owner, as a client and she continually acted rushed, angry, paranoid, and incompetent.  I have never been treated so badly by such a company.  She would often say she would get on it and then I wouldn't hear from her at all. Another client also told me they were treated in a demeaning and rude manner by a plumber there.  There was no reason for Ms. Griffin's bad behavior.  I was polite and reasonable the whole time, even after being treated badly.  I have not run into this type of behavior with other plumbing companies I have worked with. At one point she threatened that I'd have to pay for the work even if they couldn't fix my very routine plumbing issue.  I was given an outrageous price for a routine replacement.  No other quote I got was that high.  Her quote was hundreds of dollars higher.  It took her over a week to give me a quote which wasted a lot of my time and caused my family a lot of problems since the repair/replacement was needed right away.  I ended up choosing another plumber and he quickly assessed and fixed the problem with a replacement at a fraction of the cost.

I called Ken Griffin plumbing on the recommendation of my regular plumbers who were closed over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Long story very short: they used a camera to video my sewer line. I called the next day and asked if I could get a copy of the video. I was told they would put a flash drive in the mail later that day. The woman confirmed my address and I was satisfied. The flash drive never came.

I had a baby shortlt after this and wasn't able to call and follow up right away. When I did call to inquire about the flash drive,  I was again told that they would check and definitely drop it in the mail the very next day. Again, the flash drive never came.

I called a few weeks later to follow up yet again and someone else answered the phone. He took my number amd said he would inquire and call me back. He did call back a few minutes later and informed me that there was no video of my sewer. He indicated that this is somethint I would have had to ask for before they performed the camera inspection on the line. I could understand that EXCEPT. ..why was I continually assured my video would be in the mail if it never existed in the first place?  Additionally,  they never told me the day of the camera that I had the option of a video for an extra $15 if I wanted it. Based on the response i got  when I called the next day to ask if they had the video and could please send it to me, I had no reason to believe this wasn't a standard practice. I would have gladly paid the extra $15 had they ever mentioned it. Furthermore, I had to call and follow up THREE times before being told there was no video. Why was I continued to be assured that my video was in the mail if it never existed in the first place.

I expressed my dissatisfaction and he was very apologetic and understood my disappointment with the company. He profusely apologized and said he wished there was something he could do.

Later that day I got a voice mail from Kathy Griffin offering to come video the line again for no cost other than the $15 for the flash drive as an apology for the whole incident. I called her first thing the next morning to accept the offer and schedule a visit. It was very cold out and they were very busy with frozen pipe emergencies...which I TOTALLY understood. I was told that they would call me back that evening or the next day to schedule something. That was over a week ago. I never received another call. I am growing tired of following up with this company for every little thing. They made me an offer to try and improve my opinion of the company and have not followed through again. They will definitely not be getting repeat business from me and I would not recommend this company to anyone else looking for a plumber. Its a shame because the plumbers were friendly and explained my plumbing issues to me well.

Had them repair a leaking pipe in my kitchen which caused $20k in damages only to have it happen again 22 months later. Called today and they said sorry, we don't have anyone available to come over to fix it!! Had to call another plumber who is coming today. This after I tried to give them a second chance after a bad dryer install they performed last summer! The service rep scratched my washer with his belt buckle, sawed the back wall behind my dryer without cleaning up so I had wood chips in my dryer with the first few loads of laundry! He also left ceiling covers off my basement ceiling where he did plumbing work. After several calls and promises to come back and fix the problems, they said the fresh wood chips in my dryer came from a mouse and a plugged up vent! Plus they never fixed the scratches on my $2k washer! It looks like a scratch and dent washer! I have a cat by the way ,so doubt there was ever a mouse. Expect poor service and slow response to your complaints. Too many good plumbers in the area to have to settle for their type of service. Ken and Kathy Griffen should be ashamed of themselves!

Contracted Ken Griffin Plumbing to fix an issue with my toilet. Service was fast, professional, and left me a satisfied customer. I'm not an expert on the work that was performed, so I can't say for sure if the parts that were used were marked up versus me buying the parts on my own. But overall, my problem was resolved so 5 stars.
