Mr Paxson was very professional. He arrived on time, provided a written estimate via email, followed his estimate, was polite, cleaned up his mess... fantastic experience!

My parents' electricity was going out for the past couple of days due to the circuit breakers being loose.  I decided it was time to get an electrician to evaluate the situation and see what was going on. The house and the entire electrical system is original from the 1980's.  I came across Electric City and they had very good reviews so I decided to call them.

The electrician who showed up turned out to be the owner. He was very friendly from the start. I explained to him the situation and he immediately got to troubleshooting. He was able to determine the situation right away and explained to me everything he was seeing.

He was very honest in determining what needed to be replaced and what can stay. He even mentioned that it would be best to replace the entire box and all of its components but he would save me the money and get everything to be in excellent condition again.  

Overall, he replaced only what needed to be replaced and did it as if he was working at his own home.  Very honest work ethics and customer service. Price was very reasonable as well. Couldn't be any happier that I chose Electra City. Keep up the good work!

so many years with this company and started to fall by the wayside when i had to wait without responses when to replace ceiling light....no response .... called again and again....no response....i gave the bozo all my light bulbs and ceiling fixtures and more because i thought he would appreciate my generosity not for a lesser charge but just because he might use the beautiful fixtures i couldn't use in my current condo!
alas, i was ignored and all i needed was to replace the fluorescent light in my kitchen!  stupid ignorant did me a favor when i also needed partition removed and the electrical remodel who he referred didn't even have a license!  i say fu norb....did me a favor and a safety net!  dmn it all!!!!

The best all the way around! Been to my home twice with both experiences (with different staff each time) and each time and team were professional, courteous and prompt.

I purchased a mirror from Wayfair and added on installation. No one  ever showed up. I was so upset and cancelled the installation with them. I reached out to Eligio, and he contacted me right away. Thankfully, he was able to come out the same day. He installed the mirror in such a short amount of time and was super professional. I highly recommend him!

AJ and his team were absolutely superb. I've used electricians in Chicagoland before and AJ was simply top notch. From customer service to pricing, to the efficiency with which the crew worked, and the fantastic outcome, our experience was outstanding. AJ's team upgraded our 100 AMP panel to a new 200 AMP panel and installed two electric car chargers. Kudos to Gadertech Electric!

This is the best electrical contractor in the area.When I had a short in my kitchen, two other electricians could not find the problem. I was told that I would need to gut my kitchen to either find the break or to just have it rewired. Luckily a friend referred me & told me to I call Olson before making my decision. They came out promptly & luckily found the issue. The others were on the right track, but stopped short of finding the issue. Steve & Paul located the break, & were able to fix the issue without having to gut the kitchen. They do quality work, & are extremely knowledgeable. I refer them now, & will only use them for my electrical in the future!!

Fast and courteous service!  I've had a couple of calls out for electrical service in my unit after a serious roof leak.  I've  been impressed with the level of service and diligence at finding the root cause of the electrical issues.

Had some outlets that were out and one that needed to be fixed! They fixed everything in half an hour and very reasonable pricing! They even called me the next day that I first called to let me know someone canceled and they could come today! Compared to others this was a great price! They were on time and worked quickly! Will use them for remodel!!

I agree with the previous review. Don't be wary of this guy. Just don't do business with him. He also asked us for 60% in advance. OK, I wasn't born yesterday. Nobody asks for 60% in advance. I asked him why it was so high. He said he had to buy supplies. We were installing lighting that we purchased. So what are we talking about - some electrical boxes and some wire?
He was supposed to be at our house at 10am. He called at 9:45 and said that he had some calls that delayed him and that he'd be about 2 hours late. He showed up at 12:30. Then he said that the lights (that I purchased from a reputable lighting company) were no good and that he couldn't install them. I went out to Home Depot and purchased 3 lights for the front closet. He didn't even try to put those in. He just left and said to call him when I had lights for the other closets. Why didn't he even try to put the other light in?
I went out that night and purchased 3 other lights from the lighting company we had previously been to and called Dino to let him know that we had new lighting. We set up an appointment for 1pm on Friday. Dino texted me on Thursday night to confirm that we were still on for Friday. I told him that we were still on.
At 11:26 Dino texted me that he had an emergency panel upgrade and that he would be 2 hours late. 2 hours late seems to be standard for him. Now I am not one of those people who carry my phone with me everywhere I go so I was unable to respond immediately to Dino. By the time I responded to him, he said that he had already made other plans and that he couldn't be sitting around waiting for my reply. Oh, sitting around like I had done for 2 days waiting for him to show up?
He offered to come to the house at 8am the next day (Saturday). Although I was extremely leery at this point, I told him that he could come to the house and finish the job. I told him that I expected him at 8am and that this was his final chance to do the job.
He went ballistic (just as the previous reviewer said, this nut job has a temper) and told me to keep the job and get somebody else to do it. Then he told me that he was going to put a lien on the house for the work done. Then he said that he was going to call the village because I didn't get permits. Let's see, if I needed permits to put lights in, don't you think my licensed electrician should have told me that?
Stay far, far away from this lunatic.

I hired Advanced Area Serv Corp to do the complete wiring for my 900 Sq Ft Master Bedroom Suite Addition. They were totally awesome! They accommodated my schedule and arrived on time. They completed the work on time and diligently cleaned behind themselves. I was impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend them to all my family and friends

Ed makes appointment, may or may not call to confirm them, may or may not show up for appointments, and in my case did both and left the project with things not working. I didn't realize things were not working until after he was gone. I see many of you had good experiences; I am highly disappointed! And yes he was paid 100%.
