Top notch! I had scheduled work to be done for 2 full ceiling fan installs (wiring, piping, etc.), and some other minor fixture replacements (new smoke detectors, closet light replacement, laundry room light replacement). There was a scheduling mishap and my reservation/appointment 7 am, never got in the books. I called 20 minutes after they said they'd be there (+/- 7:20 am) and was able to get a hold of Patrick (owner) and was apologized to and was asked to be available the next day. I let him know that I would call him back. I got a call 5 minutes after we hung up stating that he will pull some workers and come out later that day, which they did. 3 gentleman showed and started to get to work. There were a few unforeseen issues and they asked if they could return the next day at 7 am to finish up. The same workers were waiting outside my residence before 7 ready to work. This team went above & beyond making the mistake right in the end. With the laundry room light, it turned out to be just a broken switch that wasn't making the connection. Don't be deterred from the low feedback, I'm here to help make it grow. Patrick and his team are great, his prices were also the best around. There were no hidden after the fact costs or surprises. Give him a call and you won't be disappointed.

Wally, the owner of upgrade electric is one of the rare, reputable, reliable and decent electricians out there. Okay, maybe I'm being too hard on the industry, but it's hard to find honest and reliable plumbers, electricians, & contractors, IMHO, and Wally and Upgrade Electric are definitely a rare good option. We've worked with them on two houses we've owned in the last 10 years and Wally has done work for my in-laws prior to that - and it's always been good work.

I highly recommend John! We just moved into a new home in Lincoln Park, and John rewired a few switches and fixed a few non-working outlets for us. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. As well, John did the work at a reasonable rate, offered perspectives on how he would setup the electrical if it was his house, finished on-time, and thoroughly cleaned up afterward.

We needed to have a 52-inch fan installed on a 17-foot ceiling. I called 5 electricians that had been recommended by the place from where we purchased the fan (Menards). Three of the 5 quoted prices $400 and up. One wouldn't take the job because he didn't have ladders tall enough. But Jeff Schimanski charged significantly less than the others. He took the old fan down and installed the new one, and he did a great job. I highly recommend Jeff!

If you're looking for electrical lighting don't look anywhere else other than B.U.E Brighten up Electric we reached out to Mohammed after seeing our neighbor's home and we were just blown away at what they had created with outdoor lighting. We reached out to him and he responded very quickly came over and gave us a professional opinion of what he thought would be best for us and did not try to force any extra things that we did not need. He showed us plenty of pictures of homes that he had done that were all amazing. He was very knowledgeable and his expertise was definitely at the highest level of lighting. We spoke about pricing and his estimate was very very fair I agreed to have my house wrapped in lighting immediately and his team was out within two days and completed the job within one day which was absolutely outstanding. His team was very polite very organized and very professional you can't even tell they were here. Mohammed's passion for perfection really showed you can tell he absolutely loves what he does in beautifying your home which is why I will only use B.U.E in the future and I give him my highest recommendation. So if you're looking to brighten up your home please give them a call and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We're finishing our basement and he will definitely be hearing from us for lighting. Thanks again Mohammed and the guys at brighten up electric we truly do love our new homes look and we will be seeing you in the future!

We have used Cordial Electric for many projects over the years. They've completely rewired our basement, replaced our circuit breaker box, replaced old outlets with new, and repaired outdoor lighting. They're always professional, on time, no nonsense on the job site. Their prices are competitive and I would never use another electrician than Cordial Electric. No matter the size of the job, you won't be disappointed.

I send couple inquiries on yelp regarding my plumbing issue. Alex responded very quickly and offered his help. Although I later found someone later since the person is someone introduced by a friend, I want to thank Alex for his input!

I've used Bob and his guys for the last 2 years of my ongoing home renovation. They are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and the service level is great. I chose them because my previous electrician was failing to get back to me and I have not looked back.

I got Mr Dragovic's company name and number along with a few other referrals from Menards. I'm ery glad I picked him.
A small metal ruler accidentally fell onto the power strip surge protector just as I was unplugging my cell charger in the wee hours of the morning. Sparks flew out of the surge protector and the metal ruler melted in 2 places. The surge protector had burn marks too.
I was thankful I wasnt injured. My power went off everywhere. I was really scared and the next day had a neighbor fiddle around with the circuit breaker. They couldn't figure it out.
I had no idea what was damaged or how bad the problem was going to be. I was worried about the state of my expensive TV and my electric recliner chair...
Mr. Dragovic answered my phone call right away. He actual tried to help me over the phone to see if I could fix my own circuit breaker problem and to save me the cost of the service call.
Some people I think may not have tried to help me on the phone.
I was so upset and worried at that moment I just wanted him to come over.
He made it to my place in less than 30 minutes. I was surprised he was able to come over pretty quickly the same day, late monday afternoon.
I was thinking I would have to wait until the next day to get any service!
He was wore a mask. He was very pleasant, personable and professional- as well as knowledgable.
He was right, there was a little sequence that needed to be performed in a certain way in the circuit breaker and it was not obvious. It was a little tricky.
(Perhaps if I had been calmer and in a better state of mind, he might have been able to help me on the phone. I think it is commendable that he wanted to try to help me without having a service call!)
He looked at the circuit box and got the power on right away, very quickly. He showed me exactly what to do if it ever happened again.
He didnt try to replace anything that didnt need repairing just to take advantage of the situation. (Being female and pretty unfamiliar with electric work he could have replaced the whole circuit breaker and charged me whatever...
I was prepared for the worst...)
He was a good guy and was very honest.
I will definitely use his services if I need an electrician for anything in the future.
It was refreshing to have a service person of any type who was honest and caring.
I highly recommend you give him a try.

I made an appointment with this company and they were booked a month out, which is fine. After waiting a month for my appointment, I was a bit surprised that I never received an appointment reminder text message or phone call. I called the day before to confirm my appointment the next day (2pm). On the day of my appointment, several minutes after 2pm, no one arrived or called. I called the company and asked if the electrician was running late (which is perfectly understandable, but I just wanted to know because I planned my day for the 2pm appointment. The receptionist said she would reach out to the electrician and would call me back. She called me back and told me the electrician is running late, and that my new time is now between 330-4. I told her this new time is difficult for me and she said that I could cancel, but that I would not get into the schedule until next month (you would think due to the inconvenience they would fit me in sooner since the delay was no fault of my own. I also wonder if anyone would have called me to tell me the electrician would be there an hour and a half to two hours late had I not called. I told her not to cancel and I can be home closer to 4. I then left to run errands and at 3 I received a phone call from the electrician telling me he can be there in 15 minutes (about 3:15). I asked if he can make it closer to 4 and he said no, and offered to cancel the appointment. I told him I will race home and will meet him there in 15 minutes. He did not have my address and asked that I text it to him which I found odd. I kinda felt like I was inconveniencing them.
The electrician was very nice and very helpful. He was very kind and personable, and I forgot his name but he seemed knowledgeable and had a very pleasant demeanor. The price seemed fair for the work although this was the first company I called so I don't have much to compare it to.
I think this company can improve by providing an appointment reminder and a time window instead of a set time, and maybe some better customer service. I wouldn't write them off however and would recommend them with caution. It seems like a mom and pop shop which would probably explain some of this.

Extremely happy with the service I received from Miron Contracting. I needed 6 smoke alarms installed in my house. A fairly straightforward wiring job, and they were in and out in less than an hour. Polite, friendly, and most importantly, skilled in what I needed. And for a very reasonable price. I will continue to use Miron for future electrical needs!!

Mr. York and his assistant arrived on time and completed the job in half the estimated time. They made sure to bring in floor coverings so that their work bags wouldn't be on the floor (completely unnecessary for the job, but something I noticed and appreciated.) They were polite, competent and made sure to go over all of the details of the work they completed twice.
I'm not sure what more you can ask for. If you are looking for professionals who do exactly what they promised (something that's seemingly difficult to find) give them a call.

Great customer service. Dave texted and called before coming. I had a new electrical outlet installed. He reviewed my options for installation. He also reviewed his work with me upon completion. Outlet installation was completed within quoted time and for amount quoted on the telephone. Will definitely use Reliant Electrical again.
