Earlier this year I called because one of our toilets was running (we have 3) and I thought that I remembered that one having been repaired by this company earlier.  When the technician assessed the toilet he told me that they had not repaired our toilet before.  I told him to go ahead and fix it.  I had used there services before and was happy.  I thought they were very reasonable.  Toilet got fixed quickly and I was billed. The bill was HUGE.  i couldn't believe that I had given the go ahead without getting an estimate.  I assumed (never do that again) that it would be a quick and easy fix (compared to other work that was done) at a reasonable price.  I am not a plumber, but I would have/could have done this myself.  I send the payment in full with a note stating that I did not feel the price was fair.  A few days later I got my check back with a note stating that I should decide what I thought the job was worth.  I subtracted a 1/2 hour from the 90 minute charge (he was only there for about 30 minutes) and send the new check with my idea of what was fair.  It was still more than I expected to pay, but they have to make a living too.  Then a few months later the toilet started leaking again.  The contraption they put in was unlike anything I understood or my son understood and I couldn't find any information on YouTube to follow and fix.  I emailed Max Plumbing on the website stating that there was a problem and I identified myself as the one who adjusted my payment a few months ago and that I didn't know if they wanted to do business with me...  Well, I never heard anything from them and the toilet leaked and got worse as time passed.  Finally yesterday I bought a complete set up to replace the set up that was in there.  It took me 3 hours to removed and replace the set up they had put in.  Now I can see the flapper and replace as/if needed.  Soooo  the leak is fixed and I am now a certified plumber (in my families eyes).  I will not be using this company and wish those who do the very best.  Thank you for listening to my story.

Outstanding plumber replaced my water heater very quickly and neatly. He knows all of the plumbing needs and keeping your water heater in great shape. I'm going have do my shower replacement in future and all my plumbing needs. Very honest and reasonable prices service. So if you need any plumbing work big or small Blessed Plumbing should your first choice.

Vernon come by to fix my toilet and washing machine.  he did do a quick and efficient job, and was pretty nice guy as well, but.....

there was a bit of mess that was left behind, but not so much that it was crazy... only had to wipe down a few things afterwards, but from what i understand, plumbers are supposed to clean up after themselves when they're done fixing things for you... not leave a mess for you to clean up :(

also, he didn't really fix my toilet.  it runs occasionally, and it was rocking.... he did fix the rocking, but the running is still happening.  

he did do a good job on my leaking washing machine though!  no more leaks!

it beats trying to fix those things myself!!

Drip, drip, drip...dang! It was Sunday morning and our downstairs shower faucet wouldn't stop dripping. I thought (or hoping) the handle just wasn't shut all the way...alas, that wasn't it. After perusing some DIY youtube videos, I determined (or hoped) it was the Kohler mixer cap that needed to be replaced.

Confident with my diagnosis I set out after church to City Mill in EB...only to be told they didn't carry the part I was looking for and to try Ferguson's in Waipahu the following day as they were closed on Sundays. Off to Home Depot at Kapolei...struck out again, and was again told to head out to Ferguson's. I then called Lowe's and the plumbing rep told me they didn't carry the part I was looking for (although he was pleading his boss to start carrying it since he has fielded calls about it...and seemingly always on a Sunday)...but he told me to try out Hawaii Pacific Plumbing Supply as he said their prices were lower than Ferguson's.

My wife and I headed out to HPPS Monday morning and dealt with Kevin who was extremely helpful. While acknowledging that the Kohler Mixer Cap for Pressure Balance Valve is normally the culprit for leaky shower faucets, he suggested I replace the entire unit with the Shower Pressure Balancing Unit as well. He even scooped up some silicon grease (for free) that I need to install the part properly.

Went home, installed the part, and wham, bam, thank you ma'am! Leaky shower faucet doesn't leak any more. Thanks to Kevin and the folks at HPPS. They have a huge selection of parts...with friendly, knowledgeable service. What more can you ask for?

Emergency Water Heater Replacement
Here's another instance of an emergency where without warning my sister's water heater started shorting out and tripping the breaker. Tony was at the house checking on completely different problems but he stopped, diagnosed the issues, gave me the estimate and replaced the old water heater with a new one in basically 24 hours - this one was complicated because it has a solar interface and it turned out that a lot of the parts were corroded and the job was just a pain. They worked non-stop to make sure the house wouldn't be without hot water for too long and completed the work exactly as promised. I'm blessed by a few very professional, reliable vendors and Tony/Plumbing Kings, is definitely one of them. Last thing: unlike most plumbers it's never Sorry, next week or two or three weeks, but it's always: I'll try to get over there right now or today to at least tell you what's going on.

Very professional and accommodating service!  I called Pro-Rooter based on the recommendation of my building manager, after initially asking my property manager to send someone over to clear-up a severely clogged kitchen sink that was overflowing with brown gunk.  Taka showed up on a Friday evening and took care of it in around 30-45 minutes.  He was very friendly and had a good attitude.   I greatly appreciate him showing up during an off-hour, as I couldn't have dealt with the clog and accompanying smell all weekend, after returning from being out-of-town for two weeks.  If you have plumbing issues, call these guys.

Tops!  Like most - I'm rarely home and available to fix home items.  Fortunately Elite Drain solution received my emergency call - I need someone to stabilize a wobbly toilet.  Within two hours of my call, a team of experts arrived at my pad and fixed my wobbly toilet and did a full service and replaced the internal components- now smooth sitting and thanks for a speedy and quality repair!  Mahalo!  Sco

I was hopeful about Big Tuna Plumbing based on the previous reviews. However, they have no follow through. I called, established a time the same week to meet for a quote. The quote was for two bathrooms remodels more than a month away. The work required about a 1/2 days work. Big Tuna Plumbing was professional, helpful and friendly during the discussion and said he would email me a quote in a couple days. A week later, I texted him to inquire about the quote and he responded back several hours later that he didn't think he could do it. When I asked why, I never received a response. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue if you have to cancel, but it should not take the customer inquiring to find out that you can no longer perform the work as promised.

Mark is fast and professional. He owns the business and does not subcontract the work out to less experienced people. We have known Mark for five years and have trusted him with all our plumbing work, including repairs in the kitchen and bath. Give him a call!

3-20-2021  The awakening from a high pitched sound coming in the middle of the night for days was worse than a mosquito buzzing in your ear.  The sound was coming from the toilet's fill up valve in the tank.

I finally gave in since that piercing sound kept ringing in my ear even after I flushed the toilet to stop it.  For fear of eventually becoming deaf and more sleepless nites I gave Roto Rooter a call at 5:33 a.m.  That dreadful continuous blaring went off at 11:58 p.m. last night and again at 3:02 a.m. this morning.  I also informed Floyd that the upstairs shower was leaking.

However he gave a quote for repairing the toilet problem and began once I said can you start?

Hopefully from tonite on I'll get a good night's rest.  I'll tackle the shower leak another day.  Let the weekend begin.

Eddie arrived

i left two voice messages to call me back.  no one called.  in my 2nd voice message, i mentioned the work they did for me a few days ago figuring i was increasing my chances of getting a return call -- but no.   if you have an emergency (or near emergency), don't call these guys!

Major clog at our house. Guy came and cleaned it out. It clogged again the next day. He came back and said that's all I can do. Called A1 and they said the first guy didn't even open the main cleanout. He found the clog 1 minute after starting his snake. A1 asked how much the guy charged and what did he charge for. $400. My mother in law called him. He didn't give her a receipt. So rotten.

Extremely expensive and tried to gouge for a service that cost less than $2500 they estimated over 20k. Plus they charge by the hour just to take a look. Rip off

Great service and prices! They work all hours and during emergency after hours. Rannie educated me on what the problem is instead of just doing the repair charging then charging me. He made sure I was satisfied with his services. He's very responsive & very reasonably price! I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!
