Called Oahu Drain service for a mainline cleanout and Tim responded quick with competitive pricing. He took care of the clog quick. Very reliable and very detail oriented

I had a clogged kitchen sink and it was a holiday weekend! Called Rick and he picked up the phone after the first ring. I asked him if he could come by to unclog the sink. Rick and Steve were close by and came over in 10 minutes! They had the clog out within 15 minutes. He even just charged me the normal rate rather than the holiday rate!
I am so pleased! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rick! And Steve and Rick were such nice people too! Excellent work!
Will definitely use them again!

Mike is very friendly, accommodating, and persevering. I had a really tough clog in a hard to reach area, but he kept at it, using different tools till it was cleared. Then he rechecked and triple checked to make sure everything was flowing correctly. He checked for leaks and cleaned the work area so well it smelled good. I'm keeping his number in my phone for next time and passing out his cards to all my family, friends, and clients, but especially to my neighbors, as not all plumbers can work on condos.

This is the second time I have hired Handy Andy Hawaii and the service was outstanding once again. They came to re-do our flooring. It looks great and I am very satisfied with their work. The workers were very proffessional and courtious. I really want to thank them for for their patience since I did not have all the materials on hand. I look forward to calling them again for my next home project.

Overall had a good experience with A-1 Plumbing. Dennis did an excellent job - he was professional and worked quickly and I have zero complaints. Five stars for Dennis!
The only constructive criticism I can offer on the logistical side is that I wish the folks working the phones for A-1 had communicated better on the timeline for when the repair would take place. I imagine in an industry like plumbing it's impossible to predict how long the previous job is going to take, so saying you'll be there at exactly 1:00 pm isn't feasible. That's the way things go for afternoon appointments.
However, it would hugely benefit the customer if A-1 proactively called to update the estimated ETA instead of me having to call every hour or so and pester them for an update (I had to sit on hold every time). Taking a whole afternoon off of work to be home at 1:00 pm is frustrating when the repair doesn't actually start until 4:30 or 4:45 (the original arrival window was 1:00 to 4:00 pm so they were only outside their estimate by 30 minutes or so, not several hours).
I would definitely use A1 again because Dennis did such great work, and for all I know their communication is head and shoulders above the competition (thankfully I don't need a plumber very often). However, for the reasons described above, I gave this review 4 stars.

To bad, I was forced to put one star, they would have got none from me. I called billys on Friday approx. 600pm the guy answered and all I asked was how much for an estimate? He replied in a rude a** tone we closed and hung up. Well Helllllooo, why in the world did you answer your business line. Instantly, I was like okep, it's a wrap. Horrible service just by on the phone. ugh
94-1142 Kahuailani St, Waipahu, HI 96797
On time, thorough, explained clearly the work necessary - efficient and professional!
94-147 Leokane St, Ste K, Waipahu, HI 96797
This guy is permanently in my address book. I have called him for a few things now; leaky shower, a toilet problem, and a new garbage disposal. He's the real deal, i.e. he knows his stuff. You get legit professional results for a fair price. No complaints here. Someone mentioned a customer service issue but that's just his mom who helps out answering the phone sometimes. She's... old but means well. No big deal.

I experienced same as Bruce.
Nice working skill, but they charged me very questionable material cost.
May not recommend this company to others.

The prices are OUTRAGEOUS.
I needed my P trap and 2 water shutoff valves replaced under the kitchen sink and it ran me about $1200 for a 30 minute job. Unfortunately I am a single female with 0 knowledge of plumbing. When the two workers arrived they were very charming and made me feel like they were giving me a good deal. However, after doing some research I realize what a huge ripoff this was and I feel very sick.
I reached out to All Aloha to see the breakdown of the price:
Removal & Replacement of Water Emergency Water Supply Stop
$458.98 x2 ($917.16)
(This multiplied x2 because i have two shut off valves)
Replacement of P-trap $233
You can literally buy a single quarter turn shut off valve at home depot for $10-15 and a P-trap for $5-10 (IT'S JUST A PIECE OF PLASTIC)
Here's the kicker: their service fee is flat rate NOT hourly. So it took him about 30 min to install approximately $60 worth of material, which means his flat rate came out to be $1140...
I did ask the plumber why this seemed so expensive and he said it was because All Aloha does the best quality work and they were basically the Ruth's Chris of plumbers. But the irony of it all is that the installation had a leak and he has to return the very next day to fix it.
Please be weary of this company, they are clearly not afraid to take advantage of people with little knowledge of plumbing. Not to mention the hidden service fees, they just jack up the price of the product by 40% and say it's a service fee. This is very shady business.
