High quality workmanship with 5 star service.
Pete stopped by my home to take a look around and received estimate within a couple of days later. Pete arrived on time and was very polite during the whole process. After approval of estimate we agreed to meet the following Wednesday. He messaged me a few days later to cancel and re-schedule for the following Wednesday. Appointment day arrived and he showed up on time to commence the work. First thing was to find the water shut off valve. As luck would have it , the lever for shut off broke and water was spewing everywhere. Not to worry Pete came through and cut off that rusted damaged section. He installed a new lever and probably that took under 20 minutes for welding and new lever installation. Watching Pete work as a pro with no movement or materials wasted. Next we went upstairs to see why the shower water is leaking to downstairs. The water was drip, drip dripping( house probably over 100 years old) Last handyman did not do a good job and used low quality fittings.
Anyway, Pete replaced the fixtures and the faucet no longer leaks. He replaced the round overflow water cap thingy and found the rubber washer hardened and that was most likely the culprit. The drain was stuck and Pete snaked the drain along with shooting with pressured air. Now drain is un-clogged -thank goodness. The job was around 4 hours and was charged about $800. Pete is efficient and does high quality work. Hiring Pete again to fix the downstairs bathroom issues too.

recently needed to repair/replace a leaky shower faucet. turned out the unit was so old and hard water corroded, a total replacement was warranted. Jaren did an excellent job in a minimal amount of time. Highly Satisfied and I Highly Recommend! reasonable pricing and very professional.

Quick response and able to accommodate for a non-urgent job and convenient time when I was home. Very professional and courteous, we forgot to remove our bath mats and they took the time to put them aside so nothing would be dirtied or damaged. They had a very competitive quote compared to other plumbing services and I would highly recommend them if you live on the Windward side.
Service needed - tub draining slowly despite two chemical treatments and attempt to use 15 ft drain auger. They found the issue and went further to make sure there were no additional issues.
Employees - Noah, Kainoa, and Justice who were courteous, efficient, and showed plenty of aloha
Boss man - easy to call and setup appointment time and get a great quote

I highly recommend this plumbing company Biven's Plumbing. He is very pleasant and explained everything as he was doing it.
When I call he responds quickly and/or stops by to discuss the problem with me. I am always satisfied with his work and affordable prices. Shayne is my number 1 go to plumber for everything.
Mahalo Shayne for making my life less complicated than it has to be. I am so grateful for all you do.

Our hot water heater was pouring water from the emergency valve and I had to turn the main water valve off, leaving no water in the house. After calling, Rick came by at the end of his day for what would have been an emergency call. When he got there, he tested the system and it appeared to be working fine. He provided potential explanations for the leak and said he wasn't going to charge us anything since no real work was needed, which was a pleasant surprise to me! Unfortunately, the leak reoccurred so I called him back. He sent two technicians out the next morning. They introduced themselves and explained the work they were going to do. They were polite and efficient. We were thankful we called a good company!

I had something stuck in my shower drain and was told by 2 other companies that the only solution was to demo the whole shower and replace the plumbing, neither of which actually tried to remove the item. I called Aloha Drain cleaning and they were able to come out right away and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. They will be my go to Plumbers for now on

Completed initial job of changing out 3 outdoor faucets and laundry tray fixture with quote of $325, and billed $468. I didn't question this because laundry tray job seemed more complicated than I thought and billing seemed in line with other quotes. But, I went with First Class because of initial $325 quote. While working on faucets he looked at existing PRV and ball valve and suggested changing that out as it looked old and inoperable. When I asked cost he said about $450. I said I would eventually need to get it done so I would think about it. When he got to the laundry tray he said he would need to return later because it was not as he expected and need additional materials. But he said no additional costs for this job that he would bill me for and bill me separately for the PRV and ball valve job that he had mentioned and I understood to be for $450. We agreed to a return date to complete laundry tray job and the larger PRV, ball valve job. And I was to be the first customer in the new year. Later that day I get invoiced for $468 for a job that he had quoted $325. But, as I said it didn't seem unreasonable. Few days before scheduled return he calls to change to a later date because he has another job/s to get to. No mention that he said I was to be the first. Not a problem as my job was not an emergency. He later sends a multiple paged formal quote with large, clear print of $450. I quickly click on agree without reading fine print that he later says quoted price was only for labor. I didn't disagree that I missed it because I assumed a quote was just that, the cost of the job. I expressed my disappointment to receive an invoice after the completed job for $942, more than double my mistakenly understood quote of $450. Included in that $942 in voice was a labor charge of $50 for additional work on the laundry tray that he said I had already paid for! I checked with over a dozen YELP listed plumbers, and only one came in at a quote of $950 because his quotations are flat rate based, but still open to negotiate. Most fell in the range of $390-750, averaging out to $550, or $525 if I removed cheapest and most expensive. Biggest mistake I made was not getting multiple quotes before selecting a plumber for the bigger job. Also, for not reading the multiple paged fine print of First Class Plumbing's formal quote. Whit of First Class Plumbing of course does not admit being deceptive or even misleading. I told him I had no complaints with his plumbing work but certainly questioned his business practice. That if I had pursued multiple bids for the job, my request for bids to include parts and labor, he wouldn't have been one of the 3-4 I would eventually select from to final bid. Just a note, Whit's labor cost of $450 flat rate, was way over the $90-125 hourly rate that others quoted. The job took Whit no more than an hour to complete. Yes, the rule is Buyer beware!

Keith was very punctual, conscientious, and competent. Although the company name sounds like a big co., it's really just a one-man operation so you have to be patient, when you call their number, you might not get a call back until the end of the day. He pretty much covers just the East Honolulu area and he doesn't do high-rise condos. But very honest and straightforward on his pricing so great for any home jobs.

Mr. Koga is a master plumber who's been in the trade for a lifetime. He definitely knows his stuff and the rapport he's established with many families makes him highly sought after. When you have him on site he doesn't waste time and most of the time is able to pinpoint exactly what is wrong, why its gone wrong, and most importantly, the fix. His prices are very reasonable.
Due to the demand for his skills he may be difficult to get a hold of so plan on doing some follow up calls. From my experience he doesn't work on the weekends so plan on being patient...you'll find it worth the quality of work you'll receive.

Hnl Mechanical and Plumbing. It's that time of year, 2 of my split AC units started leaking.
So I called my home warranty and requested Hnl Mechanical and Plumbing...they accepted the bid and an appt was set within 4 days.
However I had to work on Thursday so I told Matt to squeeze me in if any appt opens up. Yep lucky me. Matt called today and had an hour slot. Matt and Ken showed up, within an hour they unclogged my pipes and sprayed a cleaner thingy. Highly recommend...in and out..professional..clean..

These guys are great! Our shower stopped working on Saturday and we had company coming. Gave them a call, they responded fast and were at our house within hours. Fixed the shower with fast, professional and friendly service. We had them come back a few days later to fix a few other things. We will DEFINITELY use them again.

I have a rental property the tenant called saying the shower was leaking. I had this contractor go take a look and told me that the whole shower needed to be ripped out and replaced and that it was going to cost anywhere 3-5K. I did some YouTube research and bought less than $50 worth if supplies from Home Depot. I was able to fix the leak in a hour. Beware.
