We contacted DuckDuck late on a friday afternoon with questions about a septic tank inspection that was supposed to have been completed by another company. The other company had been selected by some potential home buyers for a house we were selling. The other company did not even complete a report but indicated we had to completely remove a brand new wooden deck in order for them to do the report. Duck duck was able to schedule an in person visit from their technician the day after we called them ( came on a saturday ) and was able to completely access and pump out the septic tank without harming any part of the new deck. The technician , Troy, not only was able to pump the tank and issue their inspection, but more than anything he took a great amount of time explaining what he was doing and why so we were better informed as consumers. Their service was terrific and their pricing was totally in line with other companies that couldnt even be bothered to discuss our situation. They are an excellent company that we can highly recommend. Bob Ward

I used Home Advisor to request emergency type service for a mysterious tub leak that was affecting my downstairs neighbors apartment.
I must admit I was a tad hesitant and skeptical due to previous experience with a handyman via Home Advisor.
Scott was one of 3 that reached out within 5-10 minutes of my request.
Once I spoke to him, I had a very good feeling about the level of experience and quality I could expect from him.
He had an opening for the very next morning at 8:30am and I happily accepted after confirming a few questions.
I wanted to be transparent with him so I wouldn't feel I was wasting his time or mine.
He was very forthcoming on the range for pricing I could anticipate which I appreciated very much.
Scott arrived the next morning within 10-15 minutes of our appointment (totally understandable given Jacksonville traffic and time of day).
He assessed the problem, quickly identified the leak, went to his shop to retrieve a needed part and promptly returned. All in all, leak was fixed very quickly and he explained cause for leak. There have been no issues and the visit was 5 days ago now.
I will definitely be calling Peyton Plumbing for any future plumbing needs! Very fair pricing, quality of work, prompt follow-up and on time for appointment.
Not to mention, very friendly and customer service focused! Thank you Scott for saving the day and making my day a lot less stressful!!!

Very Quick response on a Saturday!!
The gentleman who came out was very informative and professional. Told me about my options and the cost for all. Even though I as a homeowner decided not to use them at this time; they provided prompt professional service and I WOULD recommend them as plumbing professionals!

I ran into a wonderful employee of McKendree's, Shone, this morning at a local hardware store. He was so helpful! He helped me find a few pieces for my DIY project. If they are this helpful with non-customers, I bet they are even better with their clients! The next time I need a professional, I will be calling McKendree's!

Face it, no one wants to deal with a plumbing problem, especially when you wait too long to call a professional and everything starts backing up in your house. Recently we had company visiting and the toilets started bubbling when someone was showering, or the washing machine was running, then the smell coming from the shower drain was the final straw that something needed to be done immediately. We called Roto-Rooter and the next day, Nate, technician 2815, came to our rescue.
Initially they quoted the flat rate price of a about $345 which sounded like a reasonable price to do the dirty work of cleaning the pipes. However, once they found the problem was our outside drainage pipes were completely clogged up with roots even causing a break in the pipe that would require excavation, replacement of pipe, and covering back up, the price jumped to $1650. Expensive, but after the technician showed me the clear video proof of the camera (kind of like a colonoscopy of your plumbing) trying to go through my pipes and the root obstruction, I had no doubt that it needed to be done. At least this price was instead of the $345 not on top of it. I wish I had seen the $40 off coupon on the website though, at least I could have saved a couple of bucks.
Nate quickly worked to dig up the pipe, identify the entry point of the mother root, cut, removed and replaced the pipe and was done in just a couple of hours. He was especially professional in showing me what he was doing along the way and cleaning up after himself. He never even had to come inside the house, which I was silently grateful for because this work is definitely dirty work especially in the hot Florida summers. We would not have been able to complete this job with your average handyman. What I appreciate most about using a reputable company like Roto Rooter is the warranty. If the problem comes up again, or any plumbing issue for that matter, I will certainly be calling them again.

We moved into the house 2 weeks ago. We have been Presented with a number of challenges associated with owning an older home. When the need for a plumbing repair was needed I recalled the distinct commercial for Bill Fenwick. I gave them a call, I was told that I was just outside of the service area but they were willing to make the travel and evaluate the issue.
In my industry, I am called to evaluate a problem with a piece of equipment, once the repair are determined I submit a repair quote to the Owner or maintenance repair manager. It is then and only then when the approval is given for the repair do I facilitate the need. In my case, I had 4 other companies waiting to provide a quote for the repair I needed. It was the alarming phone call I received from one of the other plumbers waiting to evaluate my concern that caused concern. I was read the riot act by the waiting company stating I should have called them to cancel the service call if I elected someone to conduct the repair. As you can imagine this caught me off guard as I didn't give authorization to have the repairs done. Well unfortunately 1 1/2 hours elapsed and an invoice was given to me for an exuberant amount. $650 to resolve a leak under the sink. My complaint submitted and I waited 3 days for a response. I called back and wanted to speak to someone regarding my experience. Low and behold the sound of the voice was recognized from the commercials, Mr Fenwick and I spoke he advised That there was a calculated error in the prices and a refund (small) was issued. I was grateful for the conversation but still not satisfied with how things were handle not the price I paid for the work received. Well 24 hours elapsed and wouldn't you know it, more water leaking from the same area. Licking my wounds from the previous experience, I wasn't ready for another kick in the shorts from this company. a local fella was recommended and this time I got what I expected. A professional evaluation and quote was give within minutes of the service tech being on site. He advised me that the repair was cause by the newly installed components. It was in his opinion that the sweated joint was damaged by the actions of the previous technician. Well that is disappointing I thought but I knew I had to get things repaired regardless. The new repair tech said it would cost me $150.00 to resolve the concern. I immediately approved the quote. The tech was there for 3.5 hours to resolve the issue. I asked are you sure that the quote was fair? His reply was absolutely and thank you for your service to our country, I didn't even ask for a military discount but it was given out of courtesy because of conversations that were had during the repair process.
Mr Fenwick if you read these reviews, understand that the way you are conducting business should change. You got me once out of ignorance to your industry standards. You will not get me ever again. Word of mouth advertising is a great tool, I wish you luck in the future.

Very professional and efficient company. We had them out to set up the plumbing for a bathroom remodel and these two guys (Keith & LK?) worked very quickly. They made sure not to waste our time or money, but did a great job moving a drain and several pipes for the shower. We were quoted $2800 by another company and ended up paying only a fraction of that. We called Eagerton last minute and they could make it out the same day before the flooring guys showed up. Definitely recommend this company for their quality of work and professional attitude.

Outstanding plumber, repair and handyman. My first list was plumbing needs from changing faucets to fixing leaks and water heater issues. Second list included grouting, changing a light to ceiling fan and did some small handyman work. He quoted a price that was that was right in the ballpark!
My list was checked off and I am very pleased with his professionalism and hard work. He's a get to the point and focuses on doing the job right the first time.
We appreciated all he did and would recommend him 100%

Oakley plumbing was honest, professional, and very well skilled.
I live in an old building and it was exceptionally difficult to reach the area that needed repair. The fix required cutting through cement and locating a modern day P-trap that could fit in a smaller space designed for 1920's plumbing equipment.
The job was completed promptly and the price was very reasonable. Everything was excellent. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Had some real issues in my house this year. Plumbing is just shot. Getting a bit run down around here and everything needs upgraded. Started with the plumbing. That's what causing a lot of the damage to the walls and floor.
Made a call and talked to a lively individual on the phone. Very helpful person and got a plumber sent over within the following week. Everything got repaired as far as I can tell. No expert but it seems to work.
Then I got the bill... ouch!!! Thought it was from a doctor instead. I'm satisfied with the service just not the payment. Might shop around get a few other quotes before I continue fixing up other parts this place.
