We contacted DuckDuck late on a friday afternoon with questions about a septic tank inspection that was supposed to have been completed by another company. The other company had been selected by some potential home buyers for a house we were selling. The other company did not even complete a report but indicated we had to completely remove a brand new wooden deck in order for them to do the report.  Duck duck was able to schedule an in person visit from their technician the day after we called them  ( came on a saturday ) and was able to completely access and pump out the septic tank without harming any part of the new deck. The technician , Troy, not only was able to pump the tank and issue their inspection, but more than anything he took a great amount of time explaining what he was doing and why so we were better informed as consumers. Their service was terrific and their pricing was totally in line with other companies that couldnt even be bothered to discuss our situation. Jerry responded to my request for help very promptly. He brought the necessary supplies to fix both of my toilets. He gave me advice to help avoid problem in the future. I chose Jerry because the first time I reached out (several months ago) he turned down work that truly was not necessary. It's hard to find people with integrity and yet there is Jerry. The gentleman who came out was very informative and professional. Told me about my options and the cost for all. Even though I as  a homeowner decided not to use them at this time; they provided prompt professional service and I WOULD recommend them as plumbing professionals!

Dan has done several jobs for us, the latest being a dishwasher removal and new install.  We are beyond pleased. He is extremely fair in his prices,  does a great  job and he is very professional and courteous.  We're glad we found him and we highly recommend his company.

I ran into a wonderful employee of McKendree's, Shone,  this morning at a local hardware store.  He was so helpful! He helped me find a few pieces for my DIY project.  If they are this helpful with non-customers, I bet they are even better with their clients! The next time I need a professional, I will be calling McKendree's!

horrible service called in for water heater service and they changed the pipes. After they realized that didnt solved the issue and decided that we needed a new heater because changing the valves will possibly damage the water heater so i was told. So i agreed and asked for a new heater but he didnt have one and we have to call for a new service. He than proceeded to charge me 300 for changing the pipes which did not solve the issue. i asked if im letting you install the heater why im getting charged for something that didnt fix the issue. long story short i called the issue in the dispatcher said they can only deduct the 300 if i get a water heater bought inhouse and have installed which was a separate 1752. 1452 will be my total for only then are they willing to deduct the cost of th previous work. I asked what if I got my owb heater and let you guys install can i still get it deducted they declined.  they charged 750 just for installation which was already on the high end because most competitors was charging 430 for installation and 1200 if they supplied the heater. would not use again

I asked this company to install an outside light. Two electricians came out and could not figure out how to make the light work. They even blamed the electrician who previously worked on it. Without installing my light, they charged $275. Ridiculous.

I called Crawford Electric. The electrician fixed the issue with the wiring, which he explained was very simple. It took him around 15 minutes to install the light. He charged $225 for the light work and for a side task. The guys at David Gray wanted to drill holes in my wall!

I recommend Crawford for honest and dependable work.

Called them on a Sunday and they were here in an hour. No extra charges for it being on a Sunday/weekend (which a lot of companies do). Stuart worked quickly and efficiently! Quoted us cheaper than other companies.

I contacted this professional thru yelp.  I got a reply and set up an appointment.  What I am am so pleased about is that there was miscommunication with the scheduled appointment.  He got right back to us, came the next day on his off day and got our job completed and I was really pleased with the work.  Here's the thing.  I had a repair to my front door, repair to a stair railing and installation of a toliet.  This gentleman got to work got it done and did a great job in record time.  Seems like they really know what they are doing.  So I have other jobs and I will use him again.  So lets see if this gentleman does consistent good work.  I'll be sure to let you know; however I think I've hit the jackpot!

Lance Maxwell plumbing will have my business for as long as I live in this area. Prompt and professional service. Called on Saturday to have a sink and faucet installed, the sink from Ikea was a bit different with some very difficult clamps, Dustin and Mackie figured it out after some head scratching but they prevailed. The cost was very reasonable.  Other national chain ending  in rooter where crazy with the quote, 3 time the amount my local company charge. These guys are awesome, local O.P. small business that is customer friendly and honorable.

I know why this company has good reviews! Brian came to give me an estimate for replacing my water cut off valve and a few outside faucets. Got an estimate and then he went ahead and did the job then! I was more than happy to have it all done! Very reasonable pricing and very nice guy! Thanks for the updates! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a plumber.

I live in an old building and it was exceptionally difficult to reach the area that needed repair.  The fix required cutting through cement and locating a modern day P-trap that could fit in a smaller space designed for 1920's plumbing equipment.  

The job was completed promptly and the price was very reasonable.  Everything was excellent.  I would recommend them to friends and family.
