I had a toilet that would not flush.

Found Duck Duck Rooter plumbing and septic after a call to another place that couldn't come out for two days and couldn't tell me what time.

The first thing that impressed me about Duck Duck was they were actually able to give me an accurate time window for their arrival. And arrived the next morning!

They sent an experienced person who actually knew what he was doing. A true professional.
They sent Marcel.  He is very skilled at his profession. He was not able to solve the problem right away but paused the service time for me while he called his manager and got some new equipment. Within an hour his manager showed up with the equipment and cleared out my pipes. They stayed the full hour and 15 minutes until the job was done.  

The price was very reasonable.

I am impressed. I will call Duck Duck Rooter for all my plumbing and septic needs and I'm definitely telling all my friends about them.

Needed to replace my septic system and these guys did a fantastic job.  I was especially impressed when one of their workers identified a problem with the new main tank.  Without me being told there was a problem, this young man contacted the office, removed the defective tank they had just set in the day prior and replaced it with a defect free unit.  They owned the problem and made it right.  We talk about customer quality each and every day in my profession, and Duck Duck Rooter's install team demonstrated what that means.  Bravo Zulu.

Duck Duck Rooter was a big disappointment. They did not identify a septic issue when making repairs on a house we were purchasing even after completing a voluntary inspection (which we learned the hard way is not an inspection and they can't be held responsible). After service calls to address the same issues identified in the home inspection (which they supposedly repaired) I was told by one of their technicians that we were using too much toilet paper! About 5 minutes after stepping on our property another company immediately identified the issue as the septic system. Which now has to be replaced. Duck Duck Rooter was a $14,000 mistake.

A couple of other companies we have used didn't come close to matching them on all levels of service & affordability!

So my home built three years ago had my septic alarm go off, of course on a Saturday. I submitted an email to several firms thinking no one would get back to me until Monday. Wow was I wrong.

Duck Duck Rooter not only got back to me, they sent a technician over to investigate my problem. They diagnosed it quickly and while I needed pumping out, they put me on the schedule the following week. The technician answered all of my questions and showed us how to limp through until they fixed it for good.

We called Duck Duck Rooter several days before Ian was due to hit because we had two buried sump pumps  that needed to be replaced. They dispatched Sean quickly who advised us on what needed to be done and what the best pumps for our set up would be. The office supplied us with a written estimate which was very reasonable, considering the urgency. Sarah was always polite and willing to listen to me when I expressed concerns about getting the job done before the hurricane. We were not able to get the pumps in before the storm, due to the time crunch, (not Duck Duck Rooters fault.) Sean showed up bright and early once the pumps were available and had them installed quickly with minimal disruption to my yard. We will definitely be calling Duck Duck Rooter the next time we need plumbing or septic services!

This company is awesome...I have had other plumbing services but will stay with my Ducks forever.  My septic was full and they set up an appointment in good time.  The guys that come out and have been servicing my tank are so efficient and friendly.  They explain the service and it is a quick process.  I called today to tell their boss how awesome they are.  I understand they are father and son which is a great team.

The lady on the phone was nice. The Man that came out for service was very helpful, fast and efficient. $295.00 later, all is well. He said our tank was very old and we should be thinking about replacing it with a new one. I am sure it all will cost about $11,000.00 or more. So, we must prepare.
We were supposed to be connected with the city-with the Better Jacksonville Plan. But, the city fell short and ran out of funding. I want to wait. Because, if I spend this much money and then be told in a year to switch over, I will not be happy at all. This is part of being a home owner.
Any suggestions or insight is welcomed. I feel like sh__! Lol

I was in a Christmas frenzy because my septic tank was overflowing and pump not pumping. I called duck duck Ritter plumbing and septic services and they were amazing to me. Trying to explain my dilemma and not getting any results from a previous company in town here I did call duck duck in a emergency type thing and even expecting to wait through the holidays because today is Christmas Eve. My explaining of the situation was confusing to say the least and they took my info and Leah called me back. She was patient understanding and so kind and told me that she would help me get my septic up and running by Christmas. That no one should spend spend Christmas with their septic tank not working. So she said she would call me by 8:30 in the morning Christmas Eve and she did on Saturday, December 24th, and said I've got a guy coming and he'll put your pump in and if it needs pumped out I've got someone on call for that and it was amazing it was reliable, honest, service. Along with that,Very kind, and thoughtful and I didn't expect my emotions to get the best of me but it was overwhelmingly kind during a  stressful situation that I had no idea what to do.

Called and set up appointment and they offered Saturday which made things a lot easier. They show up when they said they would. Both Guys were Professional and Courteous. They found my tank in seconds and were very quick on pump-out and clean-up.

Had some work done several different problems, somethings break and not always easy to fix, but they got through it and Brian Mackie came over and made it right, Kudos to a job well done !

Call Darrell Crews Septic! Duck duck rooter was the worst; the workers had no idea what they were doing and not paying attention. They almost took down a power pole and line and told me to call to get it fixed. Huge fiasco. Sent them away I didn't want them on my property any longer no telling what else they would screw up. I found Darrell Crews Septic through a neighbors recommendation and they were great and 50.00 cheaper.

Called mid morning for septic pump out and received same day service!  The two gentlemen on the job were friendly and did a great job keeping the yard disturbance to a minimum.  They were informative as to what they were doing and offered helpful tips for septic maintenance.  Jobsite looked great when they left.  Highly recommend this local company for NE Florida.

Outstanding service ... came out on a Sunday! Troy did a fantastic job helping us figure out our issue and drained our tank!

The crew made a valiant effort not to destroy our front yard when locating the tank lid. We appreciate it!!

Brian Porter was the absolute best plumber we've ever had. Him and his team made the whole  awful experience  Actually pleasant he was able to Help us resolve the issue quickly when others couldn't. He was amazing and worth every penny

Continuing to be a very happy customer! Noticed a leaking exterior faucet outside my home. After attempting to remedy the leak myself to no improvement, I called Duck Duck Rooter and they had someone come out the very next morning. The gentleman was friendly and worked fast, he was done within 10-15 minutes which saved me $$.

We had our septic tank pumped about a month ago and ever since the ground looks like it's been falling into a hole that wasn't filled or the lids not on right, so we called them back and let them know what was going on and luckily we had the owner come out and fix it for us. He poured concrete over the lid I guess to fix it instead of getting a new lid, AND he decided to use our shovel, because he wasn't prepared. And instead of bringing some fill dirt like he said he would the previous day he decided to dig a hole somewhere else to get dirt and put a pool floating on top of it!! I sat back in awe watching this guy on our security system. THEN had the audacity to tell my husband that we normally charge people when they ask us to come back out like no your employee messed up my yard, you're going to fix it!

I called on Friday 1/14 in the evening after letting tub water out it flooded our bathrooms hence septic full . Made  an appointment for Monday . The company  called me on Saturday morning to confirm and our appointment would be between 8am and 1pm on  Monday morning.  At 1 pm no truck.  Called duck duck rooter and were told we were now on the 1-6 schedule ,mind you my husband has heart rehab and cancelled for this AM appointment.   At 4pm called again were told we were next on the list . The truck showed up at around 4:30 .  We were told they would call 30minutes before show up never did.  The best part of the service was the 2 gentleman who did our septic service very professional and personable that May be the only reason I use this company in the future.

The guys that came out were very professional,  cleaned everything up, and explained the process to me. It was my first experience with having a tank pumped and let me just say they earn their money! Would definitely recommend.

This is an AWESOME company!  After calling late the previous day the company squeezed us in the next morning to quickly solve our problem. Excellent customer service. Mike Jones was the service tech that came out.  He provided us with fast, professional service.  A very trustworthy tech.  He explained everything thoroughly providing us with the confidence that is hard to find in a company these days.  He was a very courteous and polite man.  We were amazed how reasonable the charges were.  Money well spent.  We will NEVER use any company but Duck Duck Rooter and will recommend them to everyone!  Super thrilled to find such a trustworthy, reasonable priced, caring and knowledgeable company still exists these days. .

Amazingly fast response time and they left my yard just like they found it. Very nice people that explained everything that they did to get our septic tank back to efficient working condition. Will definitely use them again if we have any problems.

I gave this new company in town a chance and I am glad I did and I highly recommend using them for septic tank issues.

Noticed issue early afternoon Friday. They had a truck with Greg out first thing Saturday morning. Gladly paid a small up charge for weekend service. Once we got it pumped out, Greg pointed out that the tank was in good shape and showed me that I had old clay tile pipes leading to tank and roots had invaded. He cleared that issue easily and everything is now flowing fine. I'll follow up on that line issue. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DDR in the future. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'Ve used three other services in the past. DDR is at top of list.

I would not recommend them. I had a number of issues with them. They did respond  quickly to pump out my septic tank.
Neglected to pump out the second tank and had to schedule another appointment. Which I also was charged for! Didn't seem very knowledgeable.

I called because two toilets were leaking. The guys arrived on time, glad there were two - less time (6/27/22). Later that evening as I was in the hallway, I heard the toilet running- which meant water was still leaking from the tank. I did the food coloring test to verify. A different person came out verified it was still leaking. The following is from his work order: I clean and adjust the flapper no more leak (7/18/22). The same thing happened again; I heard the toilet running. Another person is sent to the house to repair the leak. The following is from his work order: After fixing toilet leak it having issues flushing (7/20/22). Now we have a problem that I did not have before. The field inspector is sent out to solve this problem (7/21/22). End result: accused of dropping something in the toilet and I need a new toilet. There are no children in this house, and nothing is put in my toilet except toilet tissue. I used the toilet, cleaned the toilet, and did the food color test between each visit from the different plumbers. Furthermore, plumber number 3- Mark says in his report that this new issue developed 'AFTER' he fixed the leak. In addition, he flushed the toilet several times and saw that it emptied the tank- my foods dye and two of his 'toilet tank leak detector tablets'. So, after calling Duck Duck Rooter for a leak, I now have a nonworking toilet. After hearing about my situation, Lia gave me a BRAND NEW TOLIET!! I commend the company on their persistence, quick follow-up, and commitment to my satisfaction.  I would highly recommend them.

I believe the service received for the price is unmatched. I had a wonderful experience with Brian! My front yard was basically flooded and Brian came out and took care of everything in a very timely manner. As I mentioned before, the best thing about Duck Duck Rooter is the price! Brian worked quickly and got the situation under control. Duck Duck will be my first choice in future plumbing needs.

I bought a house a couple months ago. I've had several issues with the sewer system since buying the house. Every time I have called duck duck router they have been able to come out quickly and work on my problems. They are even available in weekends!

I thought the guys were great. Good communication, here on time, very professional. After review they actually suggested I not do one of the things I planned as not needed, saving me money. The other cleaning they did was fast and thorough.

I have a rental property in Jacksonville and was told by my property manager that even though the septic had just been pumped, it was full again and the septic company they hired to come out said I needed an entire new system. I called DDRSS for a second opinion and Jason (the owner) quickly found it was a blockage in the drain under the house and just needed to be snaked. They sent out  a plumber the next day to clear the drain. They saved me thousands and I'm thankful they had my back from me being out on the west coast.

I have been very happy and satisfied with the work done by Duck Duck Rooter, especially with their plumber Charles.  We had a reverse osmosis water filtering system installed (by another company) and the system did not work correctly.  It leaked water out of the key hole.  The original plumber (one of Jacksonville's most well-known and respected plumbing companies) could not fix the problem.  I called Duck Duck and they sent out Charles who diagnosed what the problem was.  It was actually caused by a faulty kitchen faucet that technically didn't have anything to do with the reverse osmosis system, but somehow caused the system to leak from the key hole.  I ran out to the local hardware store and quickly bought a new faucet which Charles installed.  After installing the new faucet, both the reverse osmosis system and the faucet work perfectly.  All of this was done in less than 1 1/2 hours and the charge was less than half of what the other company charged me to try to install the system. Not only does Charles really know what he is doing, he is also extremely professional and friendly - a real asset to the Company.  I will definitely be calling Duck Duck Rooter for any future plumbing needs I might have.  It is really great to have a company that I trust and know I can count on!

They came quickly, resolved blocked toilet outflow in less than 15 minutes. (I had spent 2 days trying to unblock it myself.) Very careful about cleaning up. Extremely pleasant plumber. Slightly expensive for time spent ($175) but cost included return visit should that be necessary. It wasn't.

We contacted DuckDuck late on a friday afternoon with questions about a septic tank inspection that was supposed to have been completed by another company. The other company had been selected by some potential home buyers for a house we were selling. The other company did not even complete a report but indicated we had to completely remove a brand new wooden deck in order for them to do the report.  Duck duck was able to schedule an in person visit from their technician the day after we called them  ( came on a saturday ) and was able to completely access and pump out the septic tank without harming any part of the new deck. The technician , Troy, not only was able to pump the tank and issue their inspection, but more than anything he took a great amount of time explaining what he was doing and why so we were better informed as consumers. Their service was terrific and their pricing was totally in line with other companies that couldnt even be bothered to discuss our situation. We had bathroom problems for about 2 days. 4:00 Saturday afternoon we discovered the problem was with the septic tank. When I called I was told all the drivers had been sent home for the day but without hesitation she offered to call one of her drivers & send him out. What a life saver. My new plumber for ALL my needs is now Duck Duck Rooter

Folks, Greg and Michael just left our place and did a fantastic job on our clean out. I wasn't sure where the septic cap was and they were able to find it with no problem. They were able to pick up the grass in large pieces so when they put it back and it looked like they had never been there.  I am so impressed with the company. One of the greatest parts is they came the next day.

We needed a septic inspection for buying a house. Duck Duck Rooter Plumbing made the costs involved very clear before coming out. They provided a great report that was very clear and easy to understand. Would definitely use them again.

Good job.  I am 70yrs.old and this was an emergency to me.  I called the people I usually use to pump out my septic tank but couldn't get me on the schedule for at least a week.  Duck Duck Rooter came out the next day before 10 am and so far everything is working.
