Extremely disappointed and inconvenienced by this company's no show for my appointment to fix a tub drain. I called 3 times, and no one has called me back. I cancelled another appointment to accommodate this one. Incredible waste of my time and leave from work.

Ben was so nice, personable and explained everything well. Came on time and was clean and tidy - also wore masks and booties. You get a text when he is in his way so you don't have wonder what arrival time will be. He even fixed a couple other things around the place at no extra charge! I am thrilled and will be using Ben's Plumbing from now on!

What can I say that hasn't been said already? This place was as honest and diligent as you could possibly want. Checked with no fewer than five other companies before finding Service Force. Needed maintenance and they got a guy out, same day. The price they gave for the work was FANTASTIC, and at no point in the service did we feel we were getting taken advantage of.
All employees we spoke with were professional, but I gotta give even more props to Tyler, the member who took care of us on site. He showed up with all the materials, gave a call to let us know his ETA, and did a thorough job for us. walked us through what was being done, and even called me down to educate me on the work when he had no obligation to. Wanted to make sure we were kept abreast of the situation, maintain transparency.
Going forward, we really can't imagine going to any other company. When you hire someone to work on your house, your biggest hopes are 1) they aren't taking advantage of you, and 2) the work is going to be done with no surprises and no cut corners.
Service Force gave us everything we hoped for. 10/10.

My interactions with CD Shanahan and the techs who work there was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, the techs were knowledgeable, and I felt like I was getting a straight diagnosis and repair without any upselling. I highly recommend them, and will use them again myself in the future..

Gary T. Payne is the only plumber you can trust in DC/MD/VA! He is responsive, courteous, punctual, and on top of his game. My condo building has difficult rules and requirements and he worked with my building to make sure every T was crossed and every I was dotted. He helped me locate some fixtures on my own so I could save some money. He finished the work efficiently and even took the time to let my dad show him an old Lionel train set that my dad was so proud to show him. No other plumber has been so helpful, personable, fairly priced, and such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him! I will never use another plumber again! I have nothing but good things to say about Gary T. Payne!

I had to cancel my work order before work was even completed. After carefully describing my plumbing issue on the phone (broken bleeder valve on a house bib line), the plumber arrived and was very personable, but after a cursory look at the line, informed me that he didn't have the parts to do the work and we'd have to schedule the work for another day. I was left scratching my head about this, given that I described what the issue was by phone, and the fact that the scheduler never indicated that the appointment was just for an estimate. There goes a half day of leave to stay home for that.
The plumber tells me they'll be in touch within the next 24 hours to schedule the next appointment. Two days later, no word, so I call and schedule the appointment. The day of the appointment, I receive a call about an hour before my appointment window starts from the scheduler. She indicates that they have an emergency request from another customer and so my appointment will be cancelled. While I empathize with someone else having an emergency, there goes another half day of leave. At this point I'm throwing in the towel and finding another plumber who can meet their commitments- hopefully on the first visit.

I called and left several messages and never got a call back. I suppose this company could have been busy, or didn't want to do the job, but the least you could do is call and say that you're not willing or too tied up to do it. Not sure why they have a 100% response rate.

RightNOW Plumbing has replaced three different kinds of shower fixtures for us in an extremely timely and professional manner. In addition, they removed a jetted tub quickly and cleanly, without damage to our tile floor and the tile surround above the tub. I appreciate their creativity and flexibility as we proceed step-by-step in upgrading our baths.

We needed a plumber in our new location in Alexandria and we picked Brownlee based on good reviews and word of mouth. We have been extremely pleased with them. They've taken care of three issues in two visits, and we were really thrilled to get good work at a great price. Definitely recommend.

I had a leak from my third-floor restroom and he correctly identified the source of the leak. Linneer was accommodating, timely, and professional. I would definitely recommend him for any and all of your plumbing needs. I will use him for any future plumbing needs.

I contacted Troy through Yelp. He responded right away. He was able to give me a same day appointment at 12pm. I didn't contact him until after10AM about a heating and hot water problem. That was the 1st STAR. The 2nd STAR came at 11:58am when he called and said he was running 2 minutes late. Troy was on his way to to 5 STARS. Next upon arriving he called when he was outside and had on a mask we are all trying to be safe from COVID. Before entering into my home he put on shoe covers DING DING 3 STARS by the way my carpet needs shampooing anyway but I really appreciate that. He was able to find the problem in less than 15 mins and gave me the price of fixing the problem. I'm sure you already guested it 4 STARS you want to know why it's because I didn't fall out of my seat because of the price. The price was very reasonable. The 5th STAR is because Troy let my dog bark at him the whole time he was here and he was a very nice gentleman. I would recommend him to anyone who needs services with their HVAC system. THANKS AGAIN COMFORT HEATING & COOLING.

We bought a European toilet that--after reading the reviews--turns out to be a hard to install model.
The guys from Plumbline really stuck with it and made sure the job was completed despite the challenges of the toilet and the configuration of our bathroom.
We'll definitely use these guys again for plumbing needs.

Water pressure was too low on kitchen faucet, Was told a plumber would come next day between 2 and 5 at 4 got a call no one can come. I said what happened to the ad that says comes on the day you call I had given them an extra day. Called back at 5 said they found a plumber. Sent pic of plumber by email as stated and called to say he was on the way. Man arrived who could barely speak english I could not understand a word he was saying. We were able to pick up only a word or two He did not know how to open this faucet and I gave him the installers manual to use. He didn't have the right size tool to open it either. Said he needed an allan wrench. we tried to find him a wrench but ours were he said too small. He said we needed to buy a new faucet set and they would install for $332 in addition he would put in a new valve? for $272. I would have to provide the $300 faucet set. I paid the $49 visit cost and said I would think about it. I called Phister the manufacturer and they sent me the two parts I needed for free. We went on line on U tube where there are videos with step by step instructions on how to install these parts. Only a Phillips screwdriver is needed. We installed them and saved Lens cost of about $900. Also when the guy came I had some water flowing When he left all I had was the sprayer so he made it worse. Although the guy was nice and pleasant the lack of communication and outrageous cost he quoted that was estimated would lead me to say I will never call Len the Plumber again. The parts were easy to install and immediately the water pressure was back up and running. DON'T CALL LEN THE PLUMBER

So far, John G. Webster has done two big jobs for me, and both times they were excellent. They showed up on time, got the job done on time, and did the job well. Even more importantly for me, on both occasions, I had asked another company for a second quote, and the other company's quote was outrageous and included all kinds of nonsense, made-up stuff that they thought they could get away with charging me for. The John G. Webster quote was thousands of dollars cheaper to both fix my boiler and fix the water heater.

This is a scam and a ripoff. Someone came in to look at our garbage disposal in the sink for 15 minutes. They fixed the clog and charged us $165 for it! Then they said the garbage disposal had a crack and we should replace it. When we inquired how much it would cost, they said it would cost $565 including service. The garbage disposal costs $130-$150 at home depot. We pushed back and said that they were significantly marking the price up. When we checked the prices online and let them know, they said it could be done for $425. We refused. All in all, a very unpleasant experience. The guy who came in looked like he didn't want to be here. I do not recommend using them. The big mistake we made is that we should have inquired about the cost before having them come over for servicing.
