Let me add my name to those who have praised Troy. I called  at ten and he was finished by two. No heat and temperature below freezing and snow on the way. Always great to deal with a  professional. He and his company has been added to my go to list.

I loved that I was able to get my AC fixed in a short time on a Sunday afternoon. Troy did a very good job, the AC is now working very well. Highly recommend

1 star for quick response, but bad rating due to price.

I'm giving a bad rating because of how overcharged I got. The technician cleaned the coil in my HVAC system that was moldy and deodorized the system as well. The issue with my HVAC system was musty odor,  But also told him I would like for him to just check out my HVAC unit to see if it's still healthy and working orderHe was there for an hour and 15 minutes approximately. When it was time to pay up he said that's $475. To my surprise I was like wow really that much? Then he said how about $325? I agreed paid up and that was that.

Recently I met a friend who is a maintenance director and has been working with HVAC systems for over 40 years. I told him about my experience in the price and he was shocked. He told me I shouldn't have gotten charged anything over $200.

Troy got back to me right away after I put on Yelp that I needed my water heater replaced.  Unlike other companies that gave me a range of what it would cost or wanted to charge me just to give me an estimate, he gave me an exact cost and broke down everything that it would include which was way better than anyone else!  He confirmed my appointment with me the day before and was very professional.  After the new water heater was installed, I noticed a small leak from one of my existing pipes and he replaced that as well.  We also noticed my sump pump wasn't working so I told him I would pay for him to fix that as well.  I now plan to use Troy for all my future plumbing and HVAC issues!

Worked with Troy on a Sunday evening with an HVAC problem. Very professional, prompt and equipped.

I was a new customer, but Troy came within a few hours of my call when our downstairs AC unit stopped working. To sleuth out the problem, he had to thread through about 80 years worth of wiring (old house) and squeeze his body into an insanely small space - but he did it all without complaint and stayed until the problem was fixed. All at a very reasonable charge for what turned into almost 8 hours work. Highly recommended!

I contacted Troy through Yelp.  He responded right away. He was able to give me a same day appointment at 12pm. I didn't contact him until after10AM about a heating and hot water problem. That was the 1st STAR. The 2nd STAR came at 11:58am when he called and said he was running 2 minutes late. Troy was on his way to to 5 STARS. Next upon arriving he called when he was outside and had on a mask we are all trying to be safe from COVID. Before entering into my home he put on shoe covers DING DING 3 STARS by the way my carpet needs shampooing anyway but I really appreciate that. He was able to find the problem in less than 15 mins and gave me the price of fixing the problem. I'm sure you already guested it 4 STARS you want to know why it's because I didn't fall out of my seat because of the price. The price was very reasonable. The 5th STAR is because Troy let my dog bark at him the whole time he was here and he was a very nice gentleman. I would recommend him to anyone who needs services with their HVAC system. My HVAC started leaking at 1AM. Troy showed up at 8AM the next morning and solved the issue within half an hour. Really laid back and easy to work with, reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Troy was so easy to work with and took great care of me! Scheduling was prompt, communication was great, and he arrived on time. I had a feeling that the problem wasn't going to be expensive and it ended up being a very easy fix that Troy, thankfully, didn't belabor or price gouge me for. I'm a happy customer and will be a repeat one--though hopefully not too soon!

My Elderly Mother's heat in her home went out on a Saturday night. I called Comfort Heating first thing on a Sunday Morning and he was on site by 1 PM the same day.  Excellent professional service and he fixed the problem that day.  Will definitely keep this number on hand for any future Heating or Air Conditioning needs. Highly recommend.

Pay the extra somewhere else than using his service. Really unprofessional, charging for using his tool and 100$ for coming out. Hope the AC unit is not broken as I lost trust on this guy after 30 min of the work being done.  And 300$ charge for labor for just draining a water.

Troy had a couple of scheduling mishaps, but once here, he was great--efficient and knowledgeable about the system. He checked both of my hvac units, set up regular maintenance and was on his way.

My air pump unit and A/C was not working properly. Troy was very professional and reliable. He explained what the issues were and suggested what needed to be done. Job was done efficiently and in a timely manner. We even negotiated a price down from the original estimate that was acceptable for both of us. Company is based in DC, but he also services Southern MD. Very recommended.

Troy was absolutely top notch! He showed up precisely on time, and he took the time to diagnose a persistent noise that had been audible through our ceiling vents. Others had tried to solve the problem, but Troy was willing to invest the time and energy to really get to the bottom of things. He was very respectful of our home, wearing plastic shoe protectors and making sure not to leave any marks or dirt on the walls. He even called a few days later to make sure the problem was solved. Highly recommend him!

We called Sunday morning at 8am hoping we could get someone over to fix our AC ASAP because it was going to be 93 degrees. Troy answered and said he could be there by 10am! We were cautiously excited because yay, someone would be here this morning, but what's it going to cost? Troy texted us to let us know when he was on his way and arrived about 15 minutes early, gotta love that. He was very thorough and fixed our simple problem in minutes, he even replaced our air filter! His price was soooo reasonable that I was almost in shock. Troy was so kind and professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and will call only him for all my future HVAC needs.

Quick response time and Troy was able to come within a few ours of our initial request on a hot day. Very reasonable assessment fee especially for same day service. Troy got our ac up and running within minutes. He could have just left for the day but he noticed other issues with our hvac unit and recommended additional work that we knew needed to be done. He gave a fair quote and promised to come back within the week to work on the recommendations. Some businesses fail to follow up but not Troy. He called to say he ordered the parts and set up an appointment to come back. The second appointment was just as pleasant and Troy pretty much rebuilt (in my opinion) our entire hvac system that apparently wasn't properly installed when we purchased the house. Thanks Troy. I definitely recommend this business.

Professional and timely service! We called on a Sunday night after our AC kicked off and he showed up thirty minutes later. I've owned my DC condo for ~5 years and have never had the HVAC system serviced.  I finally decided to have it serviced as I didn't want it to have issues on the hottest day of the year.  I contacted at least 10 companies and only 3 replied to my request for a quote for an annual tune-up.  Troy was one of those and I'm very happy I went with him.  He didn't attempt to upsell me on anything and although he recommended I replace some parts that were over ~20 years old I never felt pressure.  He also didn't push the annual maintenance contract but I decided to go for it as I had a really good feeling about his demeanor and can-do attitude.  I will be recommending Troy to anyone who asks for recommendations for a HVAC contractor.

I can't recommend Troy and his company strongly enough. He came out the next morning after my call and was able to immediately diagnose my furnace issue. He had the needed parts in his truck, and did the work in a timely fashion. Troy was also very friendly towards my kids and pet, and did his work while wearing booties and a mask. Troy at Comfort Heating and Cooling was fantastic. One of the best service experiences I have had. He was extremely communicative and timely. His rates were much lower than the other bids I got. He came on a Sunday, when he heard that our AC was broken. He was great with our dog. He fixed our AC, which was no easy task. We haven't had any issues since. Highly recommend!

Our pool water heater needed serviced and Troy came out same day.  He found part that needed replaced and kept in constant contact until he received it and was able to come back to fix it.   Due to COVID things took longer for shipping, but Troy was patient and professional.  We were able to get it fixed and he did a great job! Very thorough, reliable, and friendly.  We asked him to take a look at our oil furnace and he was able to give us a consult and recommendation.  Very knowledgeable and gave us great options to consider.  Will definitely have him come back in the future for other needs.  Highly recommend!!!!

This is by far the best experience I've had considering it was an emergency situation. Troy responded quickly and fixed the problem same day and without any issues. I highly recommend Troy for any heating and cooling issues you may have. I will be using his service exclusively from now on!

I highly recommend this company! The customer service, prices and workmanship are EXCELLENT.  I have a super old unit that needed cleaning and maintenance to prepare for the summer heat. Troy arrived on time, checked the unit and explained everything to me before he started the work. I haven't had any issues with my unit since he worked on it over 2 months ago. Definitely going to call him again when the weather changes. I also recommended him to my neighbor and he said Troy did a great job as well. So happy I found him!

Troy was great he was prompt in responding to my request. He was professional and affordable. I was in need of my gas dryer to be installed, repair of my garbage disposal (it made an awful sound), one of my toilets wouldn't refill/flush and last but not least my switch on the gas fire wasn't working. I was able to set up a same day appointment, with him even coming before my scheduled appointment which I happy about. He works clean and efficient, very friendly and also provides tips on ways to keep things running smoothly. Omg I was very happy with the thorough job and the end result..
