My point of contact was Fernando and right away I could tell he is a professional because of his great attitude and polite manners.  He explained a lot of technical terms to my mother so that way she could be well educated and make a well informed decision.  When he was inspecting our plumbing he found the problem, fixed it, and left the repair.  He didn't want to sell or force another service on my mother and that makes Tony & Son Plumbing an honest business.

I recommend this business and I will definitely call Fernando in the future if a plumbing issue comes back.

Thomas came to fix our kitchen sink clog , he went all the way down the house to make sure all the pipes are in good state before he ran the snake setup . He is very professional and explained all the details and recommended which ones to change . We recommend their devices and they are available on a weekend

This is a true story and it happened to us.
We (my husband and I) decided to install new toilet just because the old one, though working, was not at 1.28 and was not bolted well to the floor.
At Nextdoor a plumber, though not licensed, advertised himself and offered a reasonable price.
Toilet was installed, tested and the plumber got paid.
In three days toilet flushing stopped working.
My first step was calling the installer. A response was with the new price list for inspections, problem detection, etc.
No accountability, or curiousity, or responsibility sounded in his response.
We started our own research. Learned everything about toilets, their brands, designs, costs, repairs, reviews.
Then we spent time inviting plumbing companies for estimates, because we started suspecting drain issues.
At this time we met Ferdie.
We inspected the drain in and out. Ferdie gave the appointment time and arrived right on time!
When we suggested that we have to inspect one more drain line - he agreed without any hesitation. He took our problem personally.
He uninstalled the toilet and installed again and still water, though pouring to the bowl, was not flushing.
Then Ferdie detached the tank, and, believe it or not, found a pack of plastic wrapping plugged into the neck of the base.
The original installer didn't bother to remove this packaging material.
Needless to say how grateful we are to Ferdie!
He was as curious and as happy with the finding as we were.
Now I am calling Ferdie our plumber and would recommend him always!

Sam did great work for us and 9 of our neighbors installing gas shut off valves.  He saved us 35% from what we were quoted by another plumbing company .  He has a growing business that will do all repairs and replacements.  Sam has a remarkable way of explaining things in a way that a novice can understand.  Definitely going to use for major jobs planned in the future.  Hard working, reliable, and honest.  Thanks again.

One of the least cooperative handyman I've ever dealt with.

After confirming that he was capable of doing repairs, which were outlined in detail, I scheduled a physical visit at the House to provide estimates. However, he simply ignored to investigate almost every item on the list, instead spent time giving false information to Tenants, which I then had to spend time correcting, after I directly told him not to get distracted, and then didn't even provide a single estimate. A complete waste of time.

I held off writing a review until I had Jim service my plumbing issues a couple of times.  He's been out twice to my duplex in Long Beach: once to install a clean-out and once to clear a mainline stoppage.  

The first job he quoted and did for me  was  in January 2014.  I priced out the clean-out job with several other highly recommended Yelp plumbers and, by far, Jim was the most reasonably priced.  He was also the only one I felt I could trust. A couple of the other plumbers made the job sound like it would be huge, would cost more, and would take a couple of days.  Jim's suggestion seemed reasonable and logical and he didn't make it sound like it would be a huge job.  He completed the installation of the clean-out the following day within a couple of hours.  He was punctual, professional, and friendly.  

The second job he just performed.  The mainline was backing up and sewage was coming out of the clean-out valve as it was designed to do.  I called him to schedule an appt to have him clear the mainline.  He came out the following day. He tried to resolve the issue by doing the work from the outside only since he didn't have access to the inside unit, but after working on it for 15 minutes he decided that it would be best to get access to the unit.  I put him in contact with my tenant who, unfortunately, can be difficult.  There was a misunderstanding between them and Jim kept his cool and remained professional.  He squeezed me in the following day and resolved the issue once again.

Jim picks up his phone when you call him, he responds quickly to text messages, and he took time to explain the issues and solutions.  I completely trust him with my plumbing issues and am so glad I now have a reliable and trustworthy plumber in the area.

Mejia's Plumbing Service replaced tubing that carried water to my ice box. Rene, owner also installed a small facet which will allow me to turn off the water supply to my refrigerator, if needed.  As soon as Rene completed the installation, I was able to drink water from the door of my refrigerator.  Additionally, after so many hours had pasted, my ice maker started making ice again.  I was very pleased with the excellent service of Mejia's Plumbing, in that, Rene presented himself professionally when interacting with me; he explained what he had to do to fix the problem; he completed the repair in a reasonable amount of time and he made sure that water flowed from the refrigerator prior to leaving.  If you are looking for a dependable and skilled plumber, I encourage you to contact the Mejia's Plumbing Company.  You won't be disappointed.

As new homeowners taking on our first remodel, we were a little nervous about the whole process. Following recommendations we got a few different quotes for a kitchen remodel, and frankly the cost estimates easily ranged by two orders of magnitude!

We are EXTREMELY happy that we went with Mr. Unger and his team. He explained the entire process start to finish for us on our first walk through, including accurate estimates for both time and cost that he stuck to without fail. All of the work was done above board with permits and full time employees rather than subcontractors. He let us make all the design and material decisions that we wanted to, but also had outstanding recommendations based on all his experience whenever we got that deer-in-the-headlights, i've-never-thought-about-tile-before look.

We are happy to be enjoying a gorgeous remodeled kitchen that was done on time, in budget, and hasn't had any issues for the last six months. When the temperatures dropped about five months after all the work was finished and it looked like an external pipe had slipped a bit, he was able to come out on a single day's notice and reinforce the work. That quick turnaround for an already completed job was really incredible.

Very honest. Good work and was able to come out right away.  Very knowledgable and trustworthy... Which is extremely important to me.

We wanted a local (Alameda) team to support local and saw the reviews and was eager to move forward with Smart Rooter & Plumbing.  All communication was done through Yelp and things went smoothly until the team member arrived.  

I ended up laughing it off, but the experience was unreal.  Upon his arriving I offered a welcoming hello and thanks for coming out, coffee, tea, or something else to drink.  What I received in response was nothing.  No response whatsoever.  No greeting, no introduction, no anything.  After a few minutes of silence I wondered if there was a language barrier.  When he did end up speaking, I realized he was just unprofessional.  

I showed him what he asked for but was ignored when I asked any questions.  When he was finished I was told that the estimate would come later that day.  I wrote off Smart Rooter & Plumbing immediately after I got a text message with just a dollar amount for the estimate, even though their quote was lower than others.

Majid is a pro! I had a reoccurring issue that has broken 3 separate times in the past and been repaired by various different plumbers, only to happen again and again!

First of all, they sent Alex, who is a whiz-kid & the nicest, polite-est, knowledgeable plumber in the world. The problem turned out to be way bigger than I thought it was, and Alex handled it all -- & now I have a fully functioning kitchen again -- & he even cleaned up!! As for the company itself, they are reliable & responsible and obviously hire good people.  I would recommend this company to anyone!
