This young man is professional and prompt.  His rates are reasonable and he is honest.  You don't have to look further to solve your problem.  Have used him for 3 plus years [recurring maintenance] and the occasional emergency.

Called Family Plumber based on prior comments.  The person answering phone was a kind lady and knowledgeable (Jen).  We needed a repair/replacement on the flange and wanted a free estimate.  She asked the right questions if our toilet was already removed (it made us save on cost by removing ahead) but they could also do.  Josh (their professional plumber) came by and gave us good diagnosis and cost.  They ended up doing the job and we are so pleased.  They gave us 1 yr warranty on the job.  We will not hesitate calling them for future plumbing needs.

Gary and Bob showed up (on time!!) to install 4 new faucets in my very old house...needless to say it wasn't a quick and easy fix, but they handled it like the pros they are. They were fair priced and cleaned up after themselves before they left. I love my new faucets!

I needed a plumber real quick & when he answered the phone he said he was in a job but he will be here in a few minutes.He saved my day ! I had a tennant who didn't have water overnight (another plumber didn't do the right job) He took cared of the probelm in 20 minutes.Since then he has been doing the work for me.
He charges very decent price,and does the job right.
I manage a 72 unit property,and it's not easy to find someone who is realiable and dependable.

Our family home had some plumbing issues in the last week. They came out fixed the problem and told us what we needed to do to permanently fix it. They came out the next day and fixed our lines. They are hard working, honest people who hold true to their quotes.

Why did I ever go anywhere else? Thank goodness I checked my phone for former handy people and found this company again. Roberto did a number of things around the house, from simple repairs to the more complicated. He was very professional, friendly and kind, and finished everything quicker than I'd imagined. This company saved me money by repairing a leaky faucet during the initial walk (of items on my to-do list) through AT NO CHARGE...and did it in about 1 minute! In the past I had 3 plumbers who told me faucet was too fancy and not worth repairing the leak, even if they could do it. Ha!

First of all, talk about a professional company.  They repiped my entire house. They did an outstanding job. They arrived to my house on time and immediately made an impression by protecting my belongings and ensuring nothing would be damaged. The crew lead by Mr. Gonzalez were a delight to have at my house. They communicated well and were moving on to the next step in a safe professional manner. The amount of work they performed I thought would take a few days. They accomplished all of this in just one day. I highly recommend this company if you're planning on repiping your residence. You want the best, you'll get the best. Thank you gentlemen on a job well done.

DISCLAIMER:  JND did not perform any work for me.  However, I am giving them 5 stars because the owner came out because I called with an issue with my yard drainage/runoff system.  I essentially have a V-Ditch that goes underground from a hill in our backyard and out to the street.  It gets clogged but cannot be cleaned out since there is no pipe/conduit.  He told me the minimum of what he would charge, but also recommended more cost effective solutions even if he wasn't going to make any money from his recommendation.  Very nice guy and honest from what I could tell considering I didn't pay him a dime.  But I would consider him in the future based on this experience.

Jorge and his team were on time and within budget. He communicates clearly and even offered some of his own parts to complete the job. Once the job was underway, there were a few surprises in the wall that he handled with ease.

I would recommend his company to anyone looking for high quality work at great value.

Great customer service from the Receptionist answering your call all the way through the Plumber's arrival and departure.

The plumber is very knowledgeable and efficient and will clean up after the job is done.

I woke up today to my service porch being flooded by my water heater.  I called my insurance provider.  They use Downey to cover claim calls.  Jackie from Downey Plumbing called me in a few minutes.  She scheduled me in for the first appointment tomorrow.  I am old, I need hot water.  Jackie said that she would call me if someone canceled and they could get to me today...and about an hour later, she called and said that a plumber was on the way!  Eric showed up, made friends with my little rescue dog and got to work.  Because of a service contract problem, Eric was unable to fix the problem.  He called my insurance provider to see if there was any way that they would cover the cost.  He really went to bat for me.  When it was clear that it wasn't going to work out, he carefully explained to me what the problem was.  Who knew that I could understand plumbing BUT he made it simple and even left me a diagram as to what needed to be done.  Plumbing problems are a head ache, a back ache and a toshy ache  but LOL, today, Jackie and Eric, took pride in their work and I am so grateful.  Downey Plumbing, thank you for really providing customer service at it's best.

Bryan's one of the best plumbers I've ever come across. He's very friendly, honest and professional. I had one of the hoses of our hot water tank busted around 8 o'clock on a Sunday evening; I called a few plumbers without any success. I finally found Plumbing & Rooter 4 Less on Yelp, made my call & left a message. After about 25 minutes, Bryan called back. then came to our home around 9:30 & replaced the broken hose. Before Bryan called back, I got a rate quote from another plumber whose rate was 3 times Bryan's. I felt absolutely fortunate that I found Bryan.  I'll not hesitate to recommend Bryan/Plumbing & Rooter 4 Less to anyone who needs a good, friendly, honest, professional & reasonable plumber.

We found an issue on a Sunday morning with and upstairs toilet causing gurgling in a downstairs toilet.  The downstairs toilet also would not flush properly.  Trying to plunge the downstairs toilet...result was having sewage back flow into that toilet!  Contacted Excalibur and received a reasonable ballpark estimate and an appointment for two hours later.  Felix showed up on time and quickly assessed the issue.  After rooting the main line clean out, the problem still persisted.  Running a camera into the main line, Felix found the clog in a branch line.  Between driving the camera and the snake he was able to work the snake up into the branch with the clog and made quick work of it.  Would definitely recommend!

DO NOT TRUST this company. I would have preferred to give no stars, but Yelp requires at least 1 star.

They showed up to our business today to perform an unauthorized backflow test. I never heard of this company, nor requested that they perform this test.  Now there is a broken valve which I will have to pay another contractor to fix.  When business show up to perform unauthorized testing/work, it is a DISHONEST and DECEITFUL way of trying to obtain business. This has happened also with Fire testing companies and seems to be moving into this industry. Beware of this company!

UPDATE: A representative of the company called to inform me that the City of Long Beach sent them to perform the backflow test. I spoke with the City of Long Beach this morning and they stated that they NEVER send companies out to perform these tests.

We needed a laundry repipe- old drain setup removed and hookups for 2 washers. They responded right away and came for an estimate that we agreed upon. Work was done next day and Isaac was very personable and knowledgeable.  We  are very happy with the work and will be using him again in the near future for kitchen remodal ..

Kevin was great! He was super helpful and very friendly. He had great advice and helped shop around for us to find the best price for supplies needed in our repairs. Will defiantly call him to help again!

Rafael did a great job for half the price of everyone else.  Friendly, removed the old, put in a new heater, cleaned up. Great job.  Thanks Rafael.

Called Alansi's to check for possible solar panel (OLD) leak.  Adrian came by house same day at promised time, did whatever it took to get on roof to check solar.  Once up on roof, found leak, took pictures, and reviewed with me my options.  Shut off solar system from garage to stop leak, wrote down work order, what needs to be done, and cost, and said to call if I want to get solar back up and running.  I am very thankful to Alansi's, and most especially to Adrian for his perseverance and patience.  He is a very pleasant person.  Will definitely call them for any plumbing problem, and recommend to family and friends.  Thank you Alansi's, and only $65 just to come to house and check.
