I got water leak from shower in second floor, called a number of plumbers that have good reviews at Yelp. Ivan is one of few who offered free estimation. Different from others who tried to expand project (and jacked up the charge), Ivan gave a clear diagnosis followed by a reasonable quotation. Now, repair is done on time as quoted and no more water dropping from ceiling.

I never write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this team! I had new appliances that I needed installed, and every place I called was backed up for weeks because of christmas. Theye right at the time we allocated. Their price that they quoted me was so fair. Of course one of the parts I had for the appliance I was installing was missing and they had to go purchase it. They showed me the receipt and I paid the actual price and not some mark up price. My house is going through a renovation and you can believe they are the only ones I'm calling for my plumbing work. I am a return customer. Ivan did a great work to fix my shower leaking in 2017 and water heater replacement in 2018.

This time I got water flooding in my laundry room because the sewage pump under sink did not work as expected. Ivan's name appeared in my head immediately. He came and found the problem quickly - something stuck at the bottom of pump. Eventually we got a new pump because the old one cannot work consistently even cleaning the pump bottom but I appreciate his effort not to just replace the existing pump with a new one without trying to find the root cause. That will probably the easiest thing for him to get work done.

Now it works perfectly for three weeks. Many thanks to his professional work with reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Rojas Plumbing is the second plumber I tried today. I wish Ivan and his team from Rojas were the first. He finished another job late in the day (Saturday) and still made time to come fix my problem (which was a huge mess - I will spare you the stinky details). Ivan (owner) is a pro. I found Rojas Plumbing and Heating from a NextDoor recommendation. I was not disappointed. Omar contacted me very quickly after I messaged him, and he was onsite the next morning to take a look at my leaking water heater to give me a bid on a replacement. While he offered to be able to get a new one installed by the afternoon, he understood when I asked for a bit more time to gather more information and other bids. His pricing was right along the other bids, if not a touch lower, and his friendliness and response time put him as the leader. Once I contacted him that we wanted to move forward, he and his team member came the next day and installed it, taking care to protect my house and leaving things better than when they arrived. I went on vacation and came home to a plumbing disaster - waste water backing up into my bathtub, toilet and under my kitchen sink. Biggest mess I can remember and all this on three hours of sleep. NYE CRAZY RAIN/FLOODS!!! - Ivan and his Team came to the rescue! My roof was caving in from that crazy heavy rain we had recently! Not in his usual line of work but, came right away on an emergency call! Patched & Tarped my entire roof and created a better irrigation system so the water can properly drain. Additionally did some maintenance on the side of my house. The pipes were old and was causing water backup in my sink and bath tub so, it needed unclogging & replacing. When they started to work on the diverter they suggested I replace my shower head and the faucet for the tub and they did at no extra cost! Ivan came the day we called to assess our situation. He provided several solutions and we were delighted when he came up with one that did NOT involve opening interior or exterior walls. He was able to schedule our work within a few days, but then my husband let slip that I had planned a birthday party that weekend. When Ivan called just a few hours later with (very reasonable!) pricing, he told me that he wanted to do the work right away so I could have my party! Incredible. 48 hours after that call the work was done and we had our kitchen sink back to full operation. So I got to have my party! Couldn't imagine better service than that. Thank you Ivan & Omar! Found out the hard way that we had a water leak somehow in our house. My water bill had more than doubled. Searched around and sure enough, a pipe under the house was spraying a fine mist of water. We text Ivan and he came by that evening. He quickly found the problem and quoted us a very fair price. It was a fairly big job as it turned out two pipes were leaking. Ivan had to replace both pipes. It was getting late but he stayed and finished the job. So grateful to have that fixed. I asked him if he could replace a leaking garbage disposal at our rental and he went by the next day and replaced it. Again at a very fair price. I called Ivan Rojas Plumbing this morning to ask if his team could check my water heater, as for 24 hours I had no hot water. He said he'd send someone out between 4 and 6 this evening - I did not expect to be placed on a same day schedule! - but as promised, one of his team members arrived just before 6. Roman checked out the appliance, found that the thermocoupler had failed, installed a new one that he had in hand and voilá the problem was fixed!
This is the second time I've used Rojas and I cannot recommend them more enthusiastically. They are professional, courteous, great communicators and experts in their field.

I was given Ivan's name from a very trusted contractor friend. I had a bathroom remodel gone bad and after a year of trying to get it finished and to code, the shower was the last piece. I had no idea why my beautiful new shower would not turn on. Ivan showed up as promised (even confirmed a couple of times) and got right to work! We had a clogged roof deck drain caused by an inept contractor and his subs-. We'd had two previous plumbers out trying to get it unclogged. We finally had a new roofing contractor who was working on replacing the inept work recommend Rojas Plumbing. Rojas Plumbing was able to come out two days later coordinating with the new contractor. We originally thought they'd have to cut out the pipe where the clog was since it hadn't been budged using a power auger three previous times. These guys kept working on it for 3 hours and were finally able to clean it out thoroughly and get it flowing smoothly. I had a leak from my valve that diverted water from my tub to the shower. One company without seeing the job quoted a price of $1700 to complete the job. Omar Rojas came in and diagnosed the problem, had to go get the cartridge for the handle and finished the job all in one day without ripping out tile! Overall cost significantly less than $300! I highly recommend his services!

We live in a condo complex and one of the tenants had a shower faucet that would not turn off. It is an older building and the only shutoff resulted in no water for ALL tenants. Thus, this became an emergency.

Ivan did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel and I'd absolutely go with him for my next project. I decided to manage the job on my own so I needed a plumber who could work with my schedule and deal with the issues you find in a 135 year old Victorian. Ivan really came through and coordinated all his work well around the tile and fixture installation. The whole job only took about 4 weeks which for a total bathroom remodel is pretty remarkable. He knew exactly what to look for pre-demolition which I think really helped make this a quick job. Good plumbers are hard to find in SF so I recommend calling Ivan early to get a quote and talk about schedule.

Ivan came so quickly and I live in SF! We were very impressed because not only was he quick, he was very nice and professional. We had to have our shower cartridge replaced because we couldn't get our shower/bath water to shut off without turning off the entire water for the house! Ivan came with his assistant and he put a mat down in the shower for protection and he took apart the front of the shower handle panel without harming our tiles at all (that was a worry of ours!) He gave me a price to changed them to copper, I accepted and less than a week later he had the job done for a very reasonable price I would definitely give him a call when I change my heating system at home.

He gave me a price to changed them to copper, I accepted and less than a week later he had the job done for a very reasonable price I would definitely give him a call when I change my heating system at home.

Ivan came so quickly and I live in SF! We were very impressed because not only was he quick, he was very nice and professional. We had to have our shower cartridge replaced because we couldn't get our shower/bath water to shut off without turning off the entire water for the house! Ivan came with his assistant and he put a mat down in the shower for protection and he took apart the front of the shower handle panel without harming our tiles at all (that was a worry of ours!) Our toilet leak is FIXED! Ivan came over on 8/8/17 for a quote, we urgently needed to get our toilet leak diagnosed and fixed. Rojas Plumbing was the first to reply to our S.O.S job. I had a leak from my valve that diverted water from my tub to the shower. One company without seeing the job quoted a price of $1700 to complete the job. Rojas Plumbing deserves every star!! Our old kitchen drain pipe recently burst and left a mess underneath our home. I called two plumbing companies to come out and give me a quote on replacing all 68 feet of pipe. Ivan answered my call promptly, came out the same day to give me a quote, and was courteous and professional. Ivan not only gave me the better quote, he rearranged his schedule so he could come out the following day to replace my drain pipe. He and his assistant worked 6 hours straight in my 2 ft high crawl space to replace the pipe. I am a return customer. Ivan did a great work to fix my shower leaking in 2017 and water heater replacement in 2018.

This time I got water flooding in my laundry room because the sewage pump under sink did not work as expected. Ivan's name appeared in my head immediately. He came and found the problem quickly - something stuck at the bottom of pump. Eventually we got a new pump because the old one cannot work consistently even cleaning the pump bottom but I appreciate his effort not to just replace the existing pump with a new one without trying to find the root cause. That will probably the easiest thing for him to get work done.

Now it works perfectly for three weeks. Many thanks to his professional work with reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I never write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this team! I had new appliances that I needed installed, and every place I called was backed up for weeks because of christmas. Theye right at the time we allocated. Their price that they quoted me was so fair. Of course one of the parts I had for the appliance I was installing was missing and they had to go purchase it. Found out the hard way that we had a water leak somehow in our house. My water bill had more than doubled. Searched around and sure enough, a pipe under the house was spraying a fine mist of water. We text Ivan and he came by that evening. He quickly found the problem and quoted us a very fair price. It was a fairly big job as it turned out two pipes were leaking. I went on vacation and came home to a plumbing disaster - waste water backing up into my bathtub, toilet and under my kitchen sink. Biggest mess I can remember and all this on three hours of sleep. He was very helpful over the phone and gave me some suggestions to try to fix the problem on my own. He happened to be working in my area and came by my house about 30 mins later to help diagnose the problem. Ivan came the day we called to assess our situation. He provided several solutions and we were delighted when he came up with one that did NOT involve opening interior or exterior walls. He was able to schedule our work within a few days, but then my husband let slip that I had planned a birthday party that weekend. Ivan referred me to a local business for the mold remediation and then he installed a new water heater and added a cold water faucet for a ridiculously low cost. Different from others who tried to expand project (and jacked up the charge), Ivan gave a clear diagnosis followed by a reasonable quotation. I sent out estimate requests to probably 10 contractors in the East Bay, only to find about half giving me vague answers, wildly varying dollar figures, or requesting to come see the job first. I even went to Home Depot and dealt with their contractor service, which gave me one of the most expensive estimates received.

As the puddle of water on my garage floor increased, I decided to send out estimate requests via Yelp one last time. Luckily, this brought me to Ivan, and he responded right-away. Ivan was willing to come out that evening, but told me he wanted to compare costs between two different wholesalers to get me the best price. He also gave me a solid estimate range on materials, and a fair installation price. Actually, his price was the best out of all the estimates received.

Ivan and his co-worker arrived on-time, were professional, friendly, and got to work. About 90 minutes later, I had a brand-new Bradford-White 50 gallon with a 10-year warranty heating away. When you do your research, and talk to contractors, this brand is often cited as the best, and still made in America. Ivan cleaned the area that had been soiled by my old unit and took it away to the scrap yard.

I appreciate being able to shop around for contractors via Yelp. Unfortunately, I found most to be too expensive, unavailable, or wishy-washy. Ivan was straightforward, honest, very polite/professional, and did a great job. When getting the best price, sometimes that comes at a risk to quality, but that was absolutely not the case with Ivan. I will definitely contact him again for future plumbing needs, and recommend him to my friends/family.

Ivan did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel and I'd absolutely go with him for my next project. I decided to manage the job on my own so I needed a plumber who could work with my schedule and deal with the issues you find in a 135 year old Victorian. Ivan really came through and coordinated all his work well around the tile and fixture installation. The whole job only took about 4 weeks which for a total bathroom remodel is pretty remarkable. He knew exactly what to look for pre-demolition which I think really helped make this a quick job. We live in a condo complex and one of the tenants had a shower faucet that would not turn off. It is an older building and the only shutoff resulted in no water for ALL tenants. Thus, this became an emergency.

I can't even put into words how great Rojas Plumbing is. I remodel homes all year long and I've gone through a fair share of plumbers until now. I will only hire Rojas plumbing from here on out. We had a clogged roof deck drain caused by an inept contractor and his subs-. We'd had two previous plumbers out trying to get it unclogged. We finally had a new roofing contractor who was working on replacing the inept work recommend Rojas Plumbing. Rojas Plumbing was able to come out two days later coordinating with the new contractor. We originally thought they'd have to cut out the pipe where the clog was since it hadn't been budged using a power auger three previous times. These guys kept working on it for 3 hours and were finally able to clean it out thoroughly and get it flowing smoothly. Omar contacted me very quickly after I messaged him, and he was onsite the next morning to take a look at my leaking water heater to give me a bid on a replacement.
