He came over same day to give me a quote. He measured everything. I told him what I wanted. He quoted me at 13,000 for the work needed to be done. I even sent him alternatives for a quote. However when he sent me the official quote after he asked for my email he sent me via TEXT MESSAGE basically the same thing which did NOT include my neighbors half and broken out according to the different options I was considering. Am I supposed to foot the whole bill???? EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I hired Sunset Gates to replace the previous homeowners poorly done DIY gate install. Shawn, the owner, came out to quote my project. He worked with me on how to make my ideas work in the space I have in order to provide a professional quality replacement.
When the crew delivered and installed the new gate, there was a small issue with the fabrication. I called Shawn and he had me rescheduled within a week. Today the crew got the gate panels removed, fixed, and reinstalled within business hours, with no evidence of the problem.
Very satisfied with the service, and the iron fabrication quality is top notch. Would hire them again without hesitation. Thanks, Shawn and crew.

Fantastic job. Paul made our fence safe without compromising the beauty of the metal work. I have a long list of projects that we will be using him for.
Quality work is hard to fine and he should be proud of what he does.

We just got our new RV 10 ft wide gate installed yesterday July 14th and could not be more pleased ! From my initial contact for a quote the staff was awesome to work with, they came out exactly when they said. Salesman Mike who provided the estimate was professional and not pushy but the quality of product sales itself. They provided drawings and samples for HOA approval. They also provided a temporary gate after removal of existing gate. The customer service throughout the process including accomodating us with working around pool construction was impeccable. The craftsmanship of our gate and the installation of it was 100 % the definition of perfection! I highly and sincerely recommend Steel Creations & Fabrication.

We love working with Gabe. We hired Dig It Design to completely redo our front yard. Sacred Steel handled all the custom steel work, including edging and planters (rectangle and V-shaped). Gabe was very knowledgeable and executed the work beautifully!

If I could give zero stars I would. Poor craftsmanship and even worse poor customer service. We purchased a front door, entry gate and backyard gate and it has been a nightmare working with this company.
1. The backyard gate design pattern was installed uneven. The semicircular metal pieces didn't line up. I just called and the lady I have been working with Wendy Walsh quit 3 weeks ago. No one called me to inform me of this. I had been emailing her since June and it is now mid September.
I last emailed her a month ago and she was unaware that this was not taken care of.
2. The installers where jumping over our small retaining wall in the front of the house when they j installs the entry gate. Unfortunately, they cracked it. That took 2 months for them to fix, which just included putting glue in the crack. It's still noticeable. However, what makes me even more upset is that they lied about it. They said it was already there! It's one thing to break something, but please be professional and own up to it.
3. There is a space between the entry gate on one side. It wasn't measured properly. I don't have the energy to fight about this. They dug up and cut our water lines, which caused our front yard plants to die while I was waiting to have my Landscapers fix it.
The doors may look nice, but their costumer service is horrible! I spoke with Jennifer the manager this morning who first told me she took over the case but then never reached out when her staff member quit. How is this good customer service? Buyer beware!

Update:
Jennifer with customer service contacted me to via email. There's nothing they can do to improve this or make up for the months of lost time, multiple unreturned phone calls and emails. Waste of time. Future and potential clients should be aware.

Michael, I do appreciate your interpretation of what happened yesterday.
Now please read below the numbered comments in caps to see what really happened.
Dear Mr. Mikos...
I have read your review and I am extremely sorry for your experience yesterday.
Having spoken to my installer(Buzz) who was at your home yesterday and my office manager (Josie)
to hear their explanation as well of what took place,I would like to address your comments on a point by point basis.
First of all I would like to say that we as a company are very concerned about inconveniencing our customers.
We always try to be on time with our installations and our installers are instructed to call the customer if they are running late. After speaking with my installer he explained to me that he arrived at your home between 7:45 AM and 8:00 AM. My scheduler showed me the schedule for yesterday and you were scheduled for a window of 7-9 AM. We always schedule a two hour window when booking an installation. It has been our company practice since inception. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding as to the time frame but the installer would have called you if he could not arrive by 9:00 AM. The reason we did not just cancel your installation was because we would have preferred to install your door yesterday and the weather in different parts of the valley can be very different. It might be sunny at our location and pouring at yours. It can clear up and if it did we would have been able to install your door.
When the installer was at your home and it was pouring and windy outside, he said he told you that he would call you later in the day if the weather cleared up and he would come back to your home to install the door.
1) WRONG - HE SAID THAT HE WOULD CALL ME BY 1:00PM AND NEVER DID.
He said that you told him it would be fine and to please give you 30 minutes notice if he was going to return.
2) WRONG AGAIN - I SAID FOR HIM TO CALL ME 30 MINUTES BEFORE HE PLANNED TO ARRIVE.
He checked the weather reports for Fountain Hills continuously after he left you and they kept saying severe storm warnings and it never cleared up. That is the reason he did not call you back to install the door yesterday.
3) WRONG AGAIN -THE WEATHER WAS FINE FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON.
He did notify Josie at our office to contact you to reschedule the installation once he knew he would not be coming back. Josie said she did call you and spoke to you twice to re-schedule the installation at a time convenient for you and that you told her you would call her back with a time. She is waiting to hear back from you.
4) WRONG YET AGAIN _ NOBODY CALLED ME. I CALLED YOUR OFFICE AT 3:00PM WONDERING WHERE YOUR INSTALLER WAS. JOSIE DID CALL ME AN HOUR OR SO AFTER THAT TO RESCHEDULE.
I WAS NOT ABOUT TO LOSE ANOTHER DAY OF WORK.
Once again please accept my apology for any misunderstandings that may have occurred but I can't apologize for the weather. There were storm and tornado warnings all day yesterday and we were inundated with cancellations and re-schedules.
5) DON'T TRY TO INSTALL DOORS DURING SEVERE WEATHER.
We do everything in our power to make dealing with our company a pleasant experience and sincerely value and respect our customers and them taking the time to be at home during an installation.
Once again, I am sorry this happened to you but I can assure you the door and the installation will be beautiful when it is finished.
6) YEAH, I'M SURE THAT IT WILL BE BE JUST BEAUTIFUL BANGING AROUND IN A PICKUP TRUCK ALL DAY IN THE POURING RAIN.
Respectfully,

Our garage door was slow to open and making a strange noise. I called Frank with SGD and he was very nice and helpful over the phone. He was able to come out the next day and had the issue fixed in no time. He was onetime for the appointment, professional and efficient. He even followed up next day to thank me for choosing him and to make sure everything was good. A+++ service.

One of my gates had swung shut and past the latch, bending the slider bar.
Alpha was quick to respond, provided a quick quote
Jason came out to my house, fixed the gate, installed a couple of stops to prevent the gates from opening in the wrong direction as promised.
We he arrived, we noticed the wall the gate was attached to, was separating from the house, he was able to straighten out the wall and installed a bracket to the wall and the house.
Everything is working great again.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Alpha again if needed.

We got estimates from three different pool fence companies but ultimately decided to go with this one. They weren't cheaper but oftentimes you get what you pay for and this is not something you want to skimp out on. Leonard provided great customer service and was speedy in getting us scheduled for both the estimate and installation. The workers who installed the fence did a great job. Plus rather than being contracted employees they are actually employed by the company. They really know and believe in the product and customer service experience.
You can get a 10% discount for paying cash. We were also able to get a very small group discount for scheduling our installation at the same as another neighbor.
I also recommend putting an alarm on the pool gate. It only costs $10-15 at any home store and having that extra alert system can give you more peace of mind and provide an extra step of safety.
Our pool fence looks great and we actually like the way it makes our backyard look more than before because it separates our different spaces well. Plus now we can relax and enjoy our backyard more knowing our little one is safer in the backyard.

We have used First Impressions twice in the past. Quality doors and impressive service. Never again after today. they were sold to some other company. Ralph in customer service was condescending and disgusting. The doors are poor welding. We bought over 10k of doors. The whole experience is disappointing and their service is disgusting. Shop before you sign.

Beautiful doors. Good salespeople. Sub-par customer service. I have four doors from this company. There were issues after the first installation & I gave up trying to reach them to do a repair. When I bought three more, I also arranged for repair on the first one. Scheduling installation was not easy. Conflicting dates/times, confusing information, just not very well handled. After the installation, noticed a problem with the repair. It took many phone calls and emails to get a repair scheduled. The first repair appointment didn't go well - the repair person didn't arrive on time. Then, another round of phone calls and emails to get the second appointment. The time frame for arrival was sometime after 1pm. The person never arrived. No apology, no follow up, can't reach customer service now. And there is a second repair issue with one of the first doors, some shoddy workmanship in installation. The company uses the excuse that they are located in Gilbert & Tucson is difficult. What's troubling about this is that I saw the company selling doors at an event in Tubac -- and how are they supposed to schedule installation and repair at a location that much further away when they can't do it in Tucson? I still hold out hope that they will eventually call and schedule the repair. A girl can dream.
