Best Double Hung Window Installation And Replacement in Phoenix AZ
I bought a security screen door (Titan Ultimate Security Screen door -meshtech) for our front door. We are very pleased with the look and the quality of the door. In addition, the installers - Derek and James - did a terrific job with the installation. It was a little tricky to build the frame due to minimal wood available in the existing door frame but they figured it out. It looks great (the screen door is on the front door) and there are no gaps. The door itself is very sturdy.
We had previously bought a security screen door for our back door at a big box hardware lumber store. Though it was much cheaper, there is no comparison in the quality of the screen door and especially in the installation.

Let me start by saying that I messaged them on Yelp asking if they could send someone out to look at a window in our house and the owner Stephen messaged me back within a day. I was able to schedule for someone to come out to take measurements and see what exactly we were going to need done. Jason came out, took the measurements and was awesome at explaining things to us. He never tried to over sell us on anything. Actually, his exact words were....I'm not going to try to sell you anything you don't need. He was super honest and friendly. We ended up needing the glass replaced in our window, due to the seal being bad. Also, it was a better price then 2 other companies had given us. We just had the window installed this morning and the men who installed it did a great job. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone! :)

We are absolutely thrilled with our selection of Desert King Windows! The whole process start to finish was about 5 weeks. The quality of the Amerimax windows they offer can't be beat. In just 2 days they removed 9 windows and 3 sliding doors and replaced them with incredibly robust fixtures. The install team of Landon, Bryar and Tim were fantastic, attentive and treated my home like their own personal project. If that wasn't enough, the value of their work will last a long time and cost half of what other vendors were quoting. If you are even just considering new windows ( mine were 50 year old originals) you must check out DKW. I know you wont be disappointed! (My review comes unsolicited, but I just gotta pass on the good news) Now the house is soooooo quiet!! Cheers!

We found Garcia's Windows here on Yelp. After doing some calling around, we found Mark's price to be FAR better than anyone else's. Also, he has such great reviews on here that we decided to work with him.
He answered the phone on a holiday weekend, and was very helpful, answering all of my questions. He came out soon to check the type of glass we needed, and he found that we have low-e glass on the sliding glass doors. This is not that common and needed to be ordered, which only took a couple extra days. Also, he came out on a weekend to install the glass once it arrived.
Since we have dogs, we had been keeping them inside 99% of the time, until Mark came to fix the glass, because we were afraid the dogs would push on the glass and knock it out of the door frame. When he arrived and determined that we had low-e glass, and he let us know we would need to wait for the glass to be ordered, he carefully scraped off the outer layer of shattered glass, cleaned it all up, and taped around the edges of the remaining unbroken pane, so we could let our dogs out while we waited for the low-e glass to arrive. This was such a big help, and we really appreciated it. He was on-time, very friendly, and very professional.
We hope we don't need any more glass repair, but if we do, we will definitely call Mark! Thanks for your great service!

We hired K&J to replace all of our old 1960 single pane windows on our house after a consultation with Tony. My wife was home alone to receive quotes from about 5 different contractors. My wife felt comfortable with Tony and his personality definitely helped sell the job.
In my communication with Tony after the initial consultation and quote, he was very quick to reply every time to every question and helped come up with some different options for one of our larger windows.
K&J was not the lowest bid but Tony's service and their reputation led us to go with them. The only negative was the length of time between the purchase and the installation which isn't their fault, it is due to the manufacturer, but it was about 4-5 weeks we had to wait.
The installation team led by Nick was awesome. I was home that day and their crew knocked out the install in about 4 hours for 6 windows. Nick is a great foreman and kept the job moving and was also teaching and coaching some other installers as they went which was cool to see.
Some brick crumbled from the old window nails being removed which they quickly patched and repaired. The windows look great and the whole time they kept covering flooring and furniture where they were working to avoid making any messes. Nick even offered to use our vacuum to make sure there was no glass left in the carpet from one window they had to bust out to cut the frame (since they only had a shop vac which wouldn't quite do the job). Super polite and went above and beyond with his team. I would recommend K&J and will be having a door installed by them shortly as well!

*UPDATE: The company has replaced the glass with the thicker 1 inch original thickness and waiving the installation fees, in addition to a full refund. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We just had our front window installed (after a three week delay due to errors in the order) and it was the wrong size. They ground it down and put it in. We were very patient throughout this whole process. However, the installers left without the vinyl window seal lining up correctly - large gaps all the way around the inside and outside of the window (able to easily slide a nickel around in the gaps). When we called to have this fixed we were laughed at by Nick and treated very badly over the phone. After being in contact with the main office, we were informed that Nick was the owner! It was worked out that Nick would come by the house - look it over - and fix the issues. Upon arriving he apologized for his inappropriate behavior over the phone stating is was due to the day he was having. He looked over the window and came to the conclusion that it was our vinyl frame because they took out 1 inch glass and only installed 7/8 inch glass. Unfortunately he also said these things with a very strong attitude and even stated I was being unreasonable. Later the office called and very kindly refunded us the cost of the window.

Very disappointed in American Vision Windows. Had a scheduled appointment for Saturday which was originally at 10:00 am and rescheduled at 1:00 pm. No problem with the rescheduling. But when they don't show up at all, I have a problem. No call from Project Manager. Nothing. Do not recommend this company. I wouldn't give them one star, except scheduler was very nice.

I live in Sun City, our old windows were a mess, when we bought our home. We found a local small business in Sun City that did an excellent job! I do recommend them. I'm now looking forward to purchasing a New front door from them. The staff is excellant.

We originally got a quote from Chris at Tracer a couple years back, but weren't ready to move forward on the project budget wise. We got great vibes from him then and knew we would want them to do the job when we had the funds. Very chill, not at all pushy. We called him back up a few months ago and he came back out to double check measurements and while understandably prices had rose somewhat, we felt he did everything he could to try and stay as close as possible to the original quote total.
Seth and his crew came out and did the job over 2 days. They were on time, pleasant, clean, and did great work. Seth pointed out a flaw in a couple of the window panes and said he was submitting a claim to get replacement parts so they would be perfect (and honestly, we would have never even noticed the issue). Excellent attention to detail, couldn't recommend them more!

Got a back of the napkin proposal quick, but even after multiple attempts via phone and email never received a proper proposal. After waiting few days we went with a more responsive contractor.

Abraham did a great job replacing the non-standard size double pane glass in on of our French doors. He made three trips out to Carefree to provide us with his estimate, get exact measurements for the glass order, and finally for the installation. His estimate was very reasonable and he kept us informed of his progress all the way through the process. I would definitely call Golden Glass and Glazing again for any future glass work I might need.

From start to finish working with Paul and his crew/staff was a high level of professionalism and customer service! The installation crew of the gutters were very patient and helpful. They took much pride in their work and were very considerate of us and took the extra time to make sure everything was completed to our approval. We had a small added request at the last minute and they took great care of us! We would highly recommend this company for your gutter needs and all the services they offer! You won't be disappointed! Bring on the rain.......!

We had them replace our springs in a window that went bad. They came in with the best price and I scheduled them for a week out. We had a change in our plans and asked them if they could come that day. They called me back and said they will have somebody out within the hour. Fantastic!

So glad we chose Efficient Home Pro for our window replacements! Joe (owner) is so knowledgable in his field and he took the time to explain all the different options available to us. No hard sell to purchase the most expensive, which we greatly appreciated. We got estimates from other companies and were told the expected wait was 6-8 months or more. With Joe, after signing the contract to job completion was only 6 weeks and they did an amazing job!! Joe, Jeff & Porter were a pleasure to work with and our windows look absolutely beautiful. We also had them remove a window and it looks perfect - like there was never a window there! Just a great company to work with all around and they left everything neat & clean. We will be using them again for some of the other services they provide. Thank you Efficient Window Pro - you guys are the best!!

Oh my gosh, Rick Lewis, owner of Prescott Window and Door and his crew we met who did the work (Scott, Mike, Tom and the others) they are outstanding. Such attention to detail, excellent workmanship, very courteous and so on and so on and so on. I can't say enough good things about this crew and this company. They make sure the entire job is done with perfection and pride and its evident they know what they are doing.

My salesman really enjoyed telling what I wanted, regardless of my opinion. I was wavering on grids in a patio door, when salesman decided I didn't want them. 2 days later, I contacted them and it was a huge hassle to change order, despite the fact they would not be made for 6 weeks. During installation, I found out that there were different types of grids available. Yup, I got the ugliest and cheapest ones without being given a choice (apparently there are several choices available).
The replacement patio door ended up leaving a strip of bare sub floor between the door frame and carpet. Now, I need to find someone to put in a patch. The door opens most of the way, before getting caught and rubbing on carpet. At least I don't need a door stop - just my carpet. Wish salesman had mentioned that I might want to replace the lock. I didn't think of it, and now have a new door with 20 year old handle and lock.
The living room had 2 floor to almost ceiling non-opening windows. Salesman did not want to waste time telling me prices of options. Sadly, I depended on his expert opinion. I have 2 windows attached together for each large single side replacement. They can open at top or bottom. There is one window screen (covers 1/2 of the full length of the opening), which can be placed top OR bottom. Due to thickness of safety glass, every time the window is opened, the screen is dragged and must be re-adjusted. If not adjusted, the screen is stuck between the upper and lower parts of the window. Hello bugs! Since these are windows, rain accumulates on the outside at the bottom where the window lip is.
Salesman also informed me that my prior custom window screens would not fit any longer but I would not need them. Due to 2 windows in upper part of vaulted ceiling, I got to order new ones to keep from being blinded by the sun in the AM. Thanks - more money.
The frames are large and the window portion reduced. My upstairs shower window glass is now about 2/3 of the size. Yup, salesman decided I did not want the frosted glass and was unable to change order 2 days after placing it.
During installation, some supervisor came walking through my home, reprimanding employee. It was quite unpleasant and he ignored my statements that employee was doing a good job. Perhaps this gentleman should take some management training so he could understand that employee matters are private and not to be done in front of customers. He was a very unwelcome addition to the process. My home is not his office. In simple words, he behaved like a jerk.
Would not recommend. I will feel resentful during the process of paying off the $10,000. On the plus side, the sliding patio door in bedroom is wonderful. Screen latch questionable. The majority of other windows are nice, with easy to operative locks.

This company is very professional. Bobby measured for the 5 window that needed to be upgraded. the office called and stayed in touch once the windows were due to arrive and set up a convenient time to installed. On installed day they arrived as stated. The installation was completed and everything cleaned up and a beautiful job. The price was very competitive I would recommend Lowery's Window and Door without any hesitation to everybody.
