American Vision Windows

In the beginning we were considering changing out several-to-all our windows. For us, the sticker shock was too great (plus the fellow who's done an extraordinary job of washing our windows twice a year told us we really only had one that needed replacing).

As you can imagine a few of the folks who came by for estimates didn't agree with that assessment and really weren't interested in only changing out two (there are two in the front wall of the house where the cracked one is).

That was until American Vison Windows of AZ, LLC came by. They understood our situation and were more than happy to help with this smaller order (my phrase NOT theirs!) We selected what WE wanted with only expert help - NO PRESSURE!

Scheduling and set up was smooth and pleasant.  Keep in mind EVERYTHING Home Repair is STILL at the mercy of Covid, so it didn't happen overnight. But the office ordered our products and said they'd keep up in the loop.

They did just as promised and without too much time our windows were in!  Again scheduling was great with the appropriate amount of follow up and reminders. On windows in day they even gave us a one hour window of when they'd be here! Who does that???

Erick and Adrian arrived on-time and fully prepared. They were professional and even kind to our pooch (who can really bark at strangers! ) Our pup settled down pretty quickly with Erick and Adrian - so that was a good sign!

The installation was done efficiently and with high quality. It wasn't rushed, but care was taken.  When it was over, they cleaned everything up and all we were left with is two stunning windows!

Fees were as had been quoted.

We could not be happier with the windows or the service we received from American Vision Windows of AZ, LLC. Along with all the folks in the office, we want to say a special thanks to Erik and Adrian. You helped make post-Covid repairs a whole lot easier!!!

BW and LW - Trilogy At Power Ranch (Gilbert)

We just had all of our windows replaced in our house by AVW.  We chose AVW out of 3 bids due to our first intro to the company, Jerry H.  Not only did he do a great job of selling the product and company, but he did so with a Herculean drive to make an appt. with us.  We were familiar with the product via another bid, and it was really Jerry's presentation that sold us solid.

The office team has been very communicative throughout our process.  Since it can take a couple of months to manufacture the windows, we received update about our project on a Thursday, and the next week we got a call to schedule an unexpectedly sooner install just after the first touch-base.  On install day, it rained the crew out!  Monica and team in the office got us rescheduled for the next day!

Install day 2 brought the hardworking crew of Julian, Colby, Marcus, Chris, Nate and Jacob to power through the install.  As an interested observer, the level of attention to every step of the process was noticeable and appreciated.  

The teams' hard work has really made both of us extremely pleased with our choice across the board.  We give AVW and our install crew a hearty recommend!

It looks like they have taken care of some customers by the looks of other reviews, maybe my problem was my PM Nick.  Very unresponsive, doesn't answer questions and good luck talking to anyone other than their telephone answering service.

Plus they are VERY expensive!  Honestly, I tried asking questions about my proposal and they never responded. It's unfortunate that it's very hard to get their attention. I can only imagine what doing business with them would be like.

Jared came out to give me a quote and he was very nice salesperson. He did a great job showing me the windows and taking measurements. However I could not move forward with the windows as they were charging $14,000 for six Anlin windows.  I had AZ Window and door store install three windows and a sliding glass door with the same Anlin windows for $4500 on 11/2020.

I also had a quote from Energy Shield windows and doors to replace all the windows in the house for around $9500 for 9 and a sliding glass door.

Anlin makes a good mid to high grade vinyl window
but these scrape me off the ceiling sales practices leave much to be desired.

I just had my bedroom windows replaced in my condominium and am very pleased with the install by Justin and Jonathan. They were timely, friendly, respectful and did a job well done!

American Vision Windows, installed several new windows & sliders for me 2-2 1/2yrs ago. The monsoons came and water was overflowing from the window slider tracks that I had replaced. After the rains, I reached out to AVW and expressed my concern & a awesome guy name Norm handled my complaint, scheduled Tom to come out within a few days and all was taking care of.It was a very simple fix and I appreciate Tom not only fixing the problem but taking the time to explain what happened and how to avoid from happening again. I'll just say this....keep your weep holes cleaned out :) Thanks again AVW for such First Class customer service :)

The salesperson (Elias) was very professional and listened to what we wanted and provided options.
The person that did the measurements (Davin) was also very professional. Explained how things would fit and look.
The installers (Victor and Gilbert) were conscientious, courteous and friendly to work with. They answered our questions and cleaned up after themselves.

We just bought a house in Arizona, and knew right away we needed to upgrade the windows. We called American Vision because we had such a great experience with them before. As expected, they were amazing again. Jared came out and assessed our current windows, he was extremely personable! We order the windows that day, got our windows 6 weeks after our final measurement! The installation team was awesome! Gilbert and Victor did such and awesome job, and it was unseasonably cold out (snow). I just love this company, their values, and the Staff, we will always choose American Vision Windows!

We recently had 29 windows replaced by American Vision Windows.  The crew, Tom, Hector, Jose, Victor, Gilbert, Julian, Colby, Justin, Nate, Jacob, and Marcus were all hardworking, polite, respectful, and worked great as a team with each other and the homeowners.  They showed up on time and did an excellent job covering everything inside and out before starting their work each day.  

The reason for four stars and not five is two of the windows did not fit.  Hopefully, they will be replacing them soon.

Absolutely love my new windows! Hector and Jose did a wonderful job installing. They arrived right on time, protected the interior of my home, minimizing any debris. They took great care to seal the interior and exterior so that I had no follow up repairs to do myself.
My home looks new again.

Great experience overall. I had Victor and Gilbert spend three days on the project to replace my windows and doors and they did a great job. I appreciate the quality of work and my place is now a much better place to live. Thank you!

I have never experienced such pushy sales tactics from a salesperson as I experienced with Luis. He spent nearly 3 hours sapping my energy and he knew I had chronic fatigue because of his nosy, personal questions. The price was excessive and after telling him repeatedly that wasn't going to work, he proceeded to call the manager on speaker to make me a deal, followed by a call on speaker to a former customer to give me his personal testimonial! He did not bother to ask me if I wanted him to do that. I'm sure it's a quality product. I just don't want to pay that much! You don't need to waste people's time like this. I felt like I was being held hostage in my own home. I appreciated the demo, but this whole process could have been done in an hour. You really need to set expectations if people are expected to commit 3 hours for a dog and pony show.

Had two install crews and both were good.  Job, Robert, Mike Jr., Justin, Erik and Adrian were good.

Updating this review to add 1 star, because they sent someone out that at least did a thorough job of trying to diagnose where the leak was coming from this time.

Unfortunately, the leak is likely coming from a crack in the stucco above where the window was installed.  Because I can't prove the crack was created during the install process, I'm stuck with figuring out how to get it repaired and the costs associated to it.  We lived in the house for 4 years without issue, it rained a few days before the install with no issue, and then the first storm after the install it leaks into the house.  Just a crazy coincidence I guess.

In summary, everything was fine before we decided to get new windows, albeit not being the most energy efficient.  And it's been nothing but headaches since deciding to upgrade.  Doesn't feel like any of it was worth it.

I'm so happy to have found this company! We needed a new back sliding glass patio door. The old one was really old and needed to be replaced. They sent Rod the salesman over and he got us all set up. He offered options, explained everything thoroughly, was not pushy in the least bit. Nice guy. Put down a deposit and placed the order.
Of course there was a bit of time we had to wait to get the door, but that's everywhere post-COVID. Not their (or any business's) fault. No big deal, it was fine. The wait was just as Rod said.  No problem.
Then the door came in, they had the two installers come out. Jullien & Colby installed it. Nice guys, really great work. Highly skilled, very talented guys. These two guys got the door installed and it's absolutely perfect. Jullien is the man! The door is great and we are very happy with American Vision and all the ppl from the company.

I just had all my windows replace by American Vision Windows and I am very happy with how they look, function, and even had a day of rain yesterday and no issues with them at all.  I had windows that were 20 years old and needed replacing.  I really was hoping for new windows before Christmas and they didn't think they would be able to pull that off so I didn't have high hopes but then to my surprise they came in early.  Best Christmas present! Some people weren't happy with their pricing, but I had 2 other quotes and theirs came in the best.  People shouldn't compare to what they paid for windows, or anything really, in the past.  Pricing has gone up across the board on EVERYTHING!  They communicated very well through the entire process.  The installers did a fantastic job with the windows! They came in and covered everything and cleaned when they were all done.  The only thing I would suggest, and if I could give a 4.5 I would, is I wished they had laid tarps outside as well.  The grinding of the old windows left flecks of white in my dark gravel.  This will just have to wash away with time but in the meantime it doesn't look great.  Thank you to AVW for helping me see outside clearly once again.

I recently had 17 windows replaced by American Vision Windows (7/15/21) and I could not be more pleased! The team (Mike, JR, Gilbert, Hector, Luis, Erik, Julian, Colby, Jacobo, and Albert) were a fun crew and definitely knew what they were doing. After the installation, Mike and I checked all the windows to make sure everything was perfect and he even called back in his guys if he saw window tracks hadn't been cleaned :)  

I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because there was some damage to a window ledge which Mike made sure to document so someone can reach out to me to fix. Other than that, the windows (Anlin DelMar) are fantastic!

Working with Rod at American Vision Windows was an excellent experience. He gave us an awesome price for quality windows. I researched several other window companies and AVW offered the best deal.

The day of installation (9/11/2020), Victor, Hector, Julian, Matthew, Jacob and Kobe were polite, super professional and courteous of our home; even asking permission to use the bathroom! These guys worked their tooshies off to install SIXTEEN brand-new windows, arriving on time (6am) and getting everything perfectly finished and cleaned up by 2:30p! They were extremely careful to place drop cloths and protective plastic tarps over floors and furniture.

I would HIGHLY recommend AVW! Thank you all for a wonderful job!!!

I made an appointment a week and a half in advance.  They were a no show and no call for that Saturday.  I gave them a second chance and called them when I got back home to LA.  Brittany said they had a power outage and that they couldn't get the info out to the person doing the estimate.  Hmm.

Anyway, the following Saturday he came out and we did a little FaceTime chat.  Gave him all the specs and he gave me a quote.  

Unfortunately, the manufacturers they use only had one of the two items I wanted.  It was either use one mfg. with one option, or use another mfg. with a different option.  Neither one offered both options.

Anyway, the quote was priced right in the middle of the other two quotes I received from other companies.  Since this was a rental property, I went with the lower quote.  I understand their product is better quality and has a longer warranty.

Elias very responsive, Norm did a great job planning out the install for our house, which is a not quite typical due to the basement. The install team of Mike, Jacob, Junior, Alberto, Luis, Gilbert were awesome and very organized. Very happy with the windows. only 4 starts due to one window not having obstruction tinting per order. I assume it will be corrected.

Impressed with the sound package and how quiet my home is now. The quality of the windows exceeded my expectations.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering windows or making a change to your sliding glass doors consider American Vision Windows. From the courteous non-pressure sales rep (DeAndre) to the installation of my new OXXO sliders it all went smoothly. The installation team of Job M, Robert, Gilbert and Eric were prompt on time and extremely clean with the demolition and installation.  Kudos to this company for providing a professional team.

Pushy sales people if you don't sign today they ignore you. They want you to make a decision while they are there and push you to do so with tactics. When the quote has an error on a window size it never gets changed. Price is over 4K more than another company and when your bring it up they ignore you. They don't respond to their own Yelp special either. Will go elsewhere.

Follow up from a call now I am being told my quote had free installation so you are telling me your company is 4K plus installation more than competitors. Claims 1500 off on Yelp is not allowed on estimate.

Hector and Gilbert arrived right on time, if not a few minutes early, which I appreciate. They were very friendly and professional. The work was done in the time estimated, and after they left, you'd not even known they'd been there, except for my beautiful new windows. Hector was very careful to make sure I knew all about the warranty and the guarantee. He made sure before he left that I was comfortable with the job, the product, and how everything worked.
From the first salesman to finish, I have been very happy with this company. I look forward to having them install the next batch of new windows. I will recommend them to any and everyone.

Great experience working with American Vision Windows! They were super competitive with pricing and product. My husband and I talked to several companies and received multiple quotes. American Vision Windows not only had the best price, but we got a BETTER product than what the other companies were going to install.

We had 3 windows and our sliding glass door replaced. The install process was done by Dale and Nathan. They arrived on time and asked if we would prefer for them to wear masks (which they complied with, no issues, and wore their masks for the duration of the install). They were super respectful of our home, placing drop cloths and protective plastic tarps over our beds. They thoroughly cleaned all areas they worked in. The end result is a beautiful install and amazing new windows and door. So happy with the end result!

This is the second house I have used American Vision Windows for on window and sliding glass door replacement and they did another great job on 6-3-2021!  Both times I was most impressed by the installers that came out.  They are professional, experienced and leave everything very clean afterwards. I'm pretty picky so this says a lot!

This was my first house project of this scale, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous about this.
On a recommendation from a co-worker I decided to try American Vision Windows. I was instantly impressed with  my sales rep Elias, very personable, always joking, no pressure to decide that day like some other companies. I decided to have nearly every window and two patio doors replaced after the quote I received. It was about what I expected it would be and better than some other places.

My sales rep and the whole admin staff deserve some kudos for getting everything right. I changed things several times, adding on or changing appearance options and it was never a problem, in most instances no charge even. The admin staff kept me updated with emails. Almost exactly a month after the measure was done, I had my install. 2 crews over a day and a half.

The install crew wasted no time at all, as soon as I met the two leads: Josh and Ivan and showed them the house, furniture was being covered up, tarps placed on the floor and old windows being removed before we even finished looking at the entire house, a matter of minutes.

The crew was always very respectful and well mannered, asking permission for everything or finding me for any questions. I have a dog that was very curious and though I tried to keep her locked out of the way, she kept finding her way out. The entire crew was very careful to watch out for her when she did this and were very friendly about it even making friends with her which doesn't happen easily.

They finished almost everything on the first day and showing up almost the same time the next morning, knocked everything out in less time than I was told it would take to finish what was left.

Extra kudos to the crew leads Josh Blackwater and Ivan Garcia for their professionalism and all the questions I had for them, which they never had any problem answering. Again I can't thank the rest of the crew enough;
Yoddiel, Andrew, Hector and Jacob for their courteousness and the kick butt job they performed.

Total job, 15 windows and 2 sliders. Anlin brand, and I couldn't be happier. The home is so much quieter, I noticed my fridge running which I normally don't hear over the other noise from outside! We'll see how much cooler the house stays over the Arizona summer.

We picked American Vision Windows not only for their product but, because of the positive reviews that we found for their installation work.  Everything went as expected and we could not be happier with the amount of proactive communication we received from the AVW team. We replaced all our windows, two sliders, and replaced a slider with a french door. All work was done in two days that was estimated.

Job and Robert were courteous, hard working, and very neat.  They worked around my need to continue to work from my home office and made sure that I had an opportunity to secure our pets.  I am especially appreciative that they installed the smart lock we purchased on the french door.  They were so professional that the bar has been set very high for any of the other trades that we contract with for our renovation.

We had new windows installed by American Vision and we are both so happy with how it turned out. Our salesman Elias was extremely helpful and professional. Our installers Hector, Dale, Nate, Jacob, Gavin and Gill all did an outstanding job. I couldn't believe how fast and efficient they were during the installation process. They got everything done in a few hours, we were very pleased. Will highly recommend American Vision to our friends in the future!

This is an update to a previous review. I can't say enough good things about this company. Their Anlin product is wonderful. Measurements were spot on. Installation was fast and professional. A missing window was rectified, and was just installed yesterday - to the same high standards as the previous installation. The G-130 glass is extraordinary. I can now open blinds I had to leave closed. I get much more light, but without the glare and heat. It's like my house is wearing sunglasses. My only knock is that the PM needs to be more in the forefront of communication. I got actual answers by bypassing him and going directly to the scheduler (Alicia) who is wonderful to work with.

They showed up 5 minutes early and finished 2 hours early. They had 2 crews show up at our house due to the project size and each individual was courteous and respectful. I have already recommended them to a few friends. Thank you Victor, Gary, Hector, Julian, Matthew and Gaven for making such a big project seem so smooth.

Wow!!! My new windows make a huge difference with sound, light and manageablity. They slide like butter and a quality window with pretty standard hardware. I can't wait to test out the deep tint during the hot Arizona summer as they should make a huge difference blocking unwanted heat from coming in.
I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of all 5 installers. They really take pride in their work and treated my home as if it was there's by putting down drop cloths and plastic by every area the were working or might walk.
It has only been a few days since install and I am very impressed with American Vision Windows and would definitely recommend them!!!

We had an ok experience. I'll start with the installation crews. Jacob, Julian, Mike, Johnathan and Christian were skilled,responsible and respectful while installing the windows. They all wore masks and did a good job installing the product.
However we ordered the windows in mid September and the job was not completed until the end of January. Communication from American Windows was sparse and lacking. After having the windows measured and putting 50% down we were supposed to be contacted in 3-5 days with a tentative install date that was supposed to be 10-12 weeks from order. I called after 10 days and there was no date from the factory. Weeks passed and finally two of the three  windows were installed 12 weeks after order, but one had to be remade due to an incorrect outside measurement. The third window was from Pella and that was finally installed 19 weeks after ordered. There were numerous reasons why it was delayed and installation dates pushed back. We would have ordered the same product as the other windows but the color for the interior frame was not available pushing us to the Pella product which was significantly higher in price. After conversations with the sales manager expressing my dissatisfaction with the numerous delay from Pella we were offered a small reduction in price for our trouble.
I understand covid has caused many manufacturers to have supply and production issues but we feel the ones we experienced were excessive.

In 2017, I had several windows in the house replaced with dual pane windows from American Vision. Everything was fine - pricier than I would have expected but you get what you pay for. Lately, I've noticed there is a lot of sound/air leakage from two of the windows that were replaced. The sound coming from outside was much more prominent in rooms that had the windows replaced compared to rooms that still had the original single pane windows.

Knowing that I had the upgraded sound package windows, and a lifetime warranty, I called in to have the windows checked. The technician arrived on time, spent about 10 minutes looking at the windows for any obvious signs of damage. He also unscrewed a screw to confirm there was at least some insulation in the side panels. HE told me there was no way to confirm the glass was the right kind of glass I ordered, and no way to check the low-e gas hadn't escaped from the gap. He said it's very rare they are installed incorrectly, so this must be a sales issue. He told me he would have someone from sales contact me, no doubt to buy different windows?

Two weeks later, no one has called.

Just be careful about the post installation support if you go with this company. Pricier doesn't always mean better support.

Tanner was curious but coming to our house at least 5 times for a damaged patio door is unprofessional
Then trying to replace it with a patio door that was damaged. So the replaced the sash, transition piece, door handle and screen door.
Phil and Vivian came out to our home to see the damage. They agreed to give us a written lifetime warranty and an agreement signed by Anlin the manufacturer. They informed me that it was in the mail. I only received an Anlin phamphlet that I already had. Door was installed earlier this year. Still waiting for the written agreements to be mailed.

We very recently had windows installed by American Vision windows We went with this company after doing some research we found them to have a superior product (Anlin)  than their competitors but also found them easier to work with on scheduling the initial visit and the install date.
We have nothing but good feedback to give, our windows were installed yesterday, We love them!   The install crew ( Josh, Hector and Gavin) where very professional, worked non-stop until the work was done and cleaned up after themselves. We spent a long time reading reviews and looking for a company that could help us with window replacement for our house in Pine, AZ.  We had 6 windows that needed to be replaced and they were old, aluminum frame windows that were always hot to the touch.   A few years ago we spent $4k on expensive 3M window film, but it really didn't help that much.   When we could start to see the interior parts of the window coming out we knew it was time to replace them - oh and they leaked too.   We called American Vision Windows and talked to Elias.  He came to our house in Queen Creek and we ended up buying 2 new French door replacements for that house along with the windows for our house in Pine.   We got a discount by doing it as one order, and within a week all the measurements were in and the order was off.  It took about 8 weeks for them to custom make the windows but it was worth the wait.   Yesterday the crew of 5 guys - Richard, Hector, Edgar, Joshua and Juan arrived on time and made fast work of the install.   They were probably the cleanest crew we have ever had, you would never know they were here and I have almost no paint touch up to do.  They kept me posted along the way, talked to me about the install options and even sealed the wood above the windows to ensure we don't have any leaking in the future.   These windows are so much better than what we had, the glare reduction is noticeable and they operate smoothly.   Our last windows were hot to the touch and in the middle of the day, these stay cool.   We are so excited about the new windows, we wish we had done more windows in this house, and will definitely plan to do another round next year.   I would highly recommend American Vision and you can't go wrong with their lifetime warranty on the Anlin windows.

I was scrolling through Yelp looking for a Window company to give me an estimate on Windows for my home. After being on hold for 5 minutes and 32 seconds, I decided to hang up. I've heard them on the Radio and seen them here on Yelp. They talk so much about customers but yet, can't answer a call ?

Yeah but no thanks.

We hired American Vision as part of a major remodel project for our home.
We are very happy with the quality of the windows and doors - these are truly great products at a great price.
However, the installation was problematic.
Stucco had to be re-done. Yes, it was installed, then had to be removed because the texture was completely different from the existing, didn't match,  and looked terrible. So it had to be removed - again - and reinstalled. This extra work caused multiple delays in completion that were totally unnecessary.
The installers showed no respect for our property and trampled gardens, ruining some totally - we had to get new plants. Also they were not clean, and instead of removing the broken up stucco, they threw it into the gravel landscape material, thinking it would blend in. Well, it didn't blend in, and we spent weeks (and we're still) cleaning it up.
We're very thankful the window project is finally done. In the end, we have some really nice windows and doors.

We moved to our current home 2 years ago, and it had some wood French doors that were rotting.  Every time it rained, we would get water in the house and the trim all around the doors smelled moldy and were deteriorating.   We knew we would need to replace the doors but we had two sets and were figuring it would be crazy expensive so we saved up.    During that time we did a lot of research about who to call...  searched Yelp and also considered the majors like Home Depot and Andersen Renewal but the reviews were not great for either and the cost was high.   We landed on calling another company and American Vision.  The other company never even returned our call but American Vision answered right away and booked an appointment for a few days later.  Elias came out and spent a lot of time showing us our options.   He was super helpful and informative.  It was no pressure, just facts.   We were pleasantly surprised with the cost (actually quite a bit lower than we were budgeting for) and decided to swap out our French doors and go with sliders - both doors face west and we wanted the ultimate UV glass and something that was going to hold up to the horrific summer sun.  Our previous windows resulted in extremely hot temperatures in both rooms and overall looked bad and were inefficient.    We placed the order and were excited to get rid of the rotting, terrible doors.  These are custom so it does take several weeks to get them installed, but it was absolutely worth the wait.  We had an amazing and efficient crew with Victor, Johnathan and Gilbert who clearly knew what they were doing and were the cleanest crew we have ever had.   Their attention to detail was impressive, and when they left we would never have know they were there.   They were excellent, on time, good communicators, and just really personable and nice people.  The new doors blew us away!   They look amazing, it is hard to believe how much more light we get in the rooms and yet they are not hot at all in the afternoon sun, they are high quality and operate perfectly.   Cannot say enough good things and would highly recommend to any of our family and friends.  We love them so much we are already planning which windows and doors to replace next year.   Do not hesitate to call this company and get a quote, you will not be disappointed and it is worth the wait to get high quality, custom made windows.   I am attaching before and after pictures just to show the improvement.

This company came highly recommended by my parents. They were easy to work with and very professional. Our salesman was easy to work with and was sure to give us the best deal possible. Our install guys Victor, Hector J, and Matthew were the best! We only did part of our windows now, but hope when we do the rest we have the same crew! We had a superintendent on our job while demo was being done to ensure all went smooth. It did take a while for the windows to get in, but they were very straight forward about that from the beginning. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is I had called multiple times to get a status update and no one called me back.

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. The salesman, technician (final sizing), and the installers were very professional. The window quality was great and the order (minus one doggie door) was perfect.

We needed 14 windows replaced on our 20 year old home.  We received 5 estimates and was so happy we picked the last company - American Vision Windows.  To start, Elias, the project manager, came out and gave us our options, gave us a price, and we signed immediately.  We were most impressed to learn the owners of the company designed their windows for the unique weather conditions of Arizona and California.  That was important to us. Next, the measurement team of Norm & Chad came out to do a very thorough job.  They were awesome - was the most thorough process ever.  They went over every document we had to sign and there were no surprises.  Looking forward to having the installation team complete this process.  We have already referred AVW to 4 neighbors, one has already signed up for windows, too. Couldn't be happier - GREAT JOB!

Horrible experience. Stressful from beginning to end. Not sure if it was because this was an insurance job. Getting the right measurements was painful. The guy had to come twice due to improper measurements. Took forever to get it delivered and installed . The installation was a circus show. Seeing the reason why they started this business is a joke to us. Kudos to those that had a good experience.

I Love the finished product. The windows appear to be extremely efficient. I'm also very impressed with the noise reduction. I can't hear my pool pumps turn on at 4 in the morning anymore, YAY!
The installation was great. We had 26 windows. Unfortunately the manufacturer sent one that was configured incorrectly. The installation crew was awesome, Victor, Hector, Hector J., Nate, Mathew, Manny, and Luis did the installation of the first 25 windows in a day and a half. Their quality of work was great. They did a very professional installation, were very easy to work with, and left my home clean and tidy.
It took some time for the 26th window to arrive but when it did Julian and Colby did and excellent installation as well. They were in and out in a very short time.
Over all we were very pleased the the purchase, the salesman was the most knowledgeable of the several companies we received quotes from. I believe that with to excellent warranty and high quality product they are the besty value out there.

Bad experience to start off with.  I scheduled an appointment with Gina from AVW last week for today at 6pm with Rick and its 6:20pm and nobody showed up or even called.  Gina even left me voice message this past weekend to confirm and advise that Rick with AVW would be here today at 6pm.  Poor experience!

I had them come out to give me an estimate on replacing my old windows and arcadia door, Elias the salesman on time and answered all my questions and had samples. I had 3 other estimates which this company was not the lowest but was able to come it at a competitive price. They told me 4-6 weeks and they called me the day before the team (Mike, Drew, Victor, Jonathan, and Gilbert) were nice and respectful. They did a great job. took a few hours. They did notice they had the wrong trim but went to get the right trim and ended up having to order it but were out as soon as it came in to install. I deal with contractors all the time and I would refer this company for sure.

Fast, friendly and incredible work! Elias the Project Manager helped me decide what type/brand to go with, he was super knowledgeable and thorough! Just had 13 windows replaced in my home in Mountainbrook Villages and American Vision Windows did the install. The install was done by Hector, Gaven, Julian, Matthew, Jacob, Ryan and their field supervisor Thomas. They arrived promptly at 0700 and were done by 1230. The window install was done perfect and they left the place clean.  Windows really dress up the appearance of the house, inside and out and were done for much less than our bid for another well known window company. We highly recommend AMERICAN VISION WINDOWS, 480-664-0251.

Very disappointed in American Vision Windows.  Had a scheduled appointment for Saturday which was originally at 10:00 am and rescheduled at 1:00 pm.  No problem with the rescheduling.  But when they don't show up at all, I have a problem.  No call from Project Manager.   Nothing.  Do not recommend this company.  I wouldn't give them one star, except scheduler was very nice.

I moved to AZ from Calif. recently and went with American Vision Windows because I wanted a new patio door with an integral Pet Door installed in the glass. They are one of the few window dealers in AZ who carry the made in Calif. brand of premium vinyl frame windows and doors, ANLIN WINDOW SYSTEMS. I'd heard their patio door style, MALIBU Freedom Plus, allows a pet door with vinyl flap to be factory installed into a lower corner of the dual-pane glass.

I called and was connected with Elias, who was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He came out and answered my questions and got me set up with exactly what I wanted. He followed up by phone to confirm the measure appt., and again after the installation was completed, to be sure everything was satisfactory. I mentioned some chalking that appeared to have cracked in a  couple of spots along the trim (put on too thin?); he had the installer return to fix it within a few days! It all looks Great now.

My wife & I love our new MALIBU Freedom Plus patio door and so do our two dogs, who now come & go as needed without disturbing us. We are very pleased with our purchase experience with Elias and all the staff & crew at American Vision Windows (AVW), and will refer AVW-AZ to anyone needing new windows and doors.

Don't bother calling them.  They make their TV ad look awesome and family orientated, but that does not go far if they don't call people that want to use their business.  I started at 6:30am on Thursday putting requests in via website to receive a quote.  Kept getting Page Not Found.  Later in the same day at 12:53pm it went through.  Now a full day and a 1/2 has gone by and still no one has called me.  I refuse to do business with a company that does not make following up on requests for quotes a priority.

Made an appointment at the Home Show for Thursday at 6 PM for an estimate. They called to confirm through a voicemail. My husband made sure he was home from work. No show!! Guess they are too busy for new work.

This is the fourth or fifth time we have used American Vision Windows (AVW) for our window and door needs.  Our first experience/contact with AVW was with Elias Arreola.  It was a fabulous experience.  Elias and crew made it smooth and easy.  Elias was prompt, gave us the information we needed, and answered all our questions.  FANTASTIC!  We made a commitment to use AVW for any other needs because of their level of customer service, quality and workmanship.

I just wanted to let you know about a recent install we had at our home in Show Low, Arizona.  We started the process late in the season.  It was Novemberish...not the greatest timing on our part.  Lots of things going on around holidays, family, etc.  Elias once again got right on it and got the ball rolling.  We did have a few hiccups with scheduling due to the holidays, but got it all ironed out.  Our install started on January 3, 2017.

The first of two crews, showed up promptly at 9am (our home is a 3 hour drive from their home base in Mesa, Arizona.  Sergio Zacarias, Sr. and Josh Blackwater introduced themselves, explained their needs to do good quality work, what was to be expected and promptly went to work.   When I say went to work, I mean they went the extra mile to lay down drop clothes everywhere they were working (walk ways, up stairs, over our belongs, etc).  If there was any risk of causing clutter, dust, damage to our belongings, it was either covered or moved.  These two were amazing!

We continued to watch them work.  They are truly experts.  No detail was left to chance.  Sergio and Josh worked well together and do amazing work.  They insured all windows were plumb, square, and functional.  They even took the time to wash each window (both inside and out), they taped everything (insuring the caulk lines were razor straight), and gave us kind and gentle instructions on when each window would be dry/set as not to disturb the seals.  We were literally blown away.  We cannot say enough about these two installers.  Sergio and Josh are a great team and FANTASTIC!

We just thought you should know the quality of these two installers.  They deserve to be recognized by AVW.  They are a cut ABOVE other installers I have seen and worked with.  These guys are two that will make me continue to use AVW in the future!

I was a bit leery at 1st with how much we are paying for these windows so we did half of the house windows, but they are worth every penny . Our installers were Josh, Hector, and Mason they were professional, and clean cut. When they got done with everything they made sure that they cleaned up And they made sure they took the time to show me how to work my windows definitely be calling them again to do the rest of the windows in the house. No huge construction to the house, they were done with 4 windows and a sliding door in 3.5 hours. Awesome job great people.

Robert, Job, and Drew completes the window installation, and were a pleasure to work with in our home. They were professional, considerate, and left the worksite spotless! The city inspector confirmed the same quality of work.

Vincent, who completed the drywall reconstruction was equally skilled and professional.

Our windows are beautiful. We love how they look. We first met with Chuck and he came out to our home and gave us an estimate. The only negative would be that it took 3 months from measuring to installation. The installers were amazing! Enrique, Luis, Robert, and Job were nice, professional and very good at the installation. Our home is older so it took a little more work but they handled it amazingly. Thank you!

QUALITY - COST/VALUE - WARRANTY - GOOD PEOPLE. These are attributes I look for when investing my hard earned money into major purchases.  From our sales rep to our installers to the products themselves, I have had my expectations exceeded.  Josh and Hector are craftsmen and I mean that sincerely because too few people take the level of pride in their work that these two demonstrated.  If all AVW team members are as sincere and hard working as those I have met, then the management is to be applauded because it is hard to find and keep this level of talent these days.

Had a new shower installed. The installers, Dale and Jarred were phenomenal. Extremely courteous and efficient. They did excellent work and did a fantastic job cleaning everything up when they were finished. They went over the entire project with me to ensure I was completely satisfied before signing off.
The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the lack of communication from our salesman, Dan. Once he got the contract and the down payment, we never heard from him. We left several messages that were never responded too. It took almost 2 months to get an install date confirmed.

On Feb 10th, 20 I had my master bath shower completely remodeled by AVW. YES! They do bath/showers also! First off, I want to say that if I could give 10 stars to these guys, I would. So, originally, I set up consult for 10 windows, not knowing they also did bathrooms. ELIAS came out, was super nice, professional, and not pushy or salesman-like-in an annoying way at all whatsoever. He was just very helpful. During conversation I mentioned needing bathroom work also, and found out AVWs also does this. I ended up signing on for my bathroom AND all my windows both. At an amazing deal. Did not even have to think about it or go looking for anymore estimates. So, back to my shower, I had a garden tub with tile in horrid condition completely removed and a large walk in shower put in. They removed everything, drywall, moved plumbing drain pipe, raised shower head for my husband, etc, put in my new shower with the glass doors, just beautiful. JARRED, DALE, JOE, and NATHAN were all so nice and having them in my home for 3 days felt like no inconvenience at all. Each one of them are very professional, go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect and do not hesitate to get your input along the way to make sure you are happy with the progress. Each day after they left, my home did not even look like there was construction going on, they clean up every particle of dust along their way and have great respect for peoples property. I can honestly say that by the 3rd day when it was all done, my mom and I both were sad to see them all go, they felt like family. My windows will be installed this coming Sat 2/22 and I have no doubt that I will have the same experience with the window team.

First class service from start to finish. Beginning with the customer service team in the office, to Shane - the sales rep who educated us about our various window options. The installers, Job and Shawn, and (Jason?, sorry, his name escapes me at the moment) SO professional, friendly and they obviously take pride in their company and a job well done. They protected the surrounding areas before they started working and left their work areas looking better than before they began. Our new windows are amazing, and I could not be happier with the whole experience. If you are considering new windows I highly recommend you give American Vision Windows a call.

All I needed was 1 replacement window since a rock hit it and was cracked. They sent their sales person out and it took 40 minutes of my time. They tried to pressure me into putting down a deposit and signing a contract, even before the next person who would measure the window, came out. They also said they would only replace the frame with the window which would have cost me at least $200 more, which I didn't really need. I found a different company who was honest with me, gave me a close quote right over the phone, sent a measurer out that day. I don't go with companies that pressure me to make a commitment right away....that is surely a red flag

Amazing people work here!!! Love love love the polite, clean and respectful way that every single person that has come to my home has treated me and my home. Can't thank AVW and all the employees enough for that thoughtfulness. I have two more windows to go and can't wait to call them again.

The only reason I did not give a five star rating is the waiting seems a little longer than what I was told both times I have ordered. Also, the second install they came on the wrong day at 7:00 a.m. With no prior phone call. Other than that the install was perfect.  Love this company.

Elias made sure I ordered the exact window I needed. Job M and Drew W were my installers. They showed up right on time and immediately started the install process. They were very friendly and helpful. They installed our new bedroom window to perfection. What difference a beautiful can make to a room. I would definitely recommend American Vision Windows.

From start to finish everybody we came in contact with was nice, knew their stuff and did exactly what they said they would. It is hard to believe that a contractor would take care of all their customers this way, but with all of the positive reviews one can see that they do in fact take care of all their customers this way. They called when they said they would and followed through on their promises. The installation was quick, professional and clean.

Locally made product, great fit and finish on my security door. Any money you think you may save at a big box store will long be forgotten when the project is done correctly by the full time employees of American Vision. No subcontractors were used on our job, with workers comp insurance and all. No sub-contractors to track down if there is any service work down the road. Which I don't expect there to be any. American Vision stands behind their products and installation.

If you're looking for new windows, look no further!  We had gotten 6 estimates and Elias from American Vision Windows, stole the show.  He not only  was super knowledgeable but extremely thorough.  He did not rush and made sure he answered each of our questions. From the very beginning until after installation, American Vision Windows never missed a beat.  When they scheduled our installation, they brought 2 crews and completed the project in a day and a half.  Before starting they  made sure our floors were protected and were meticulous with cleanup.  It was evident to us that this company takes pride in what they are selling. We felt that we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this company!

I'd leave 0 stars if I could. See the email I sent customer service after they continued to email and call and harass me after their salesman came to my home and refused to leave. They never responded to this to correct the issue. I waited so long to write this because today is the instal with the company I went with KJ window who was hands down 5 stars for professionalism, price, instal team and overall how they do business. When people ask me about my new windows and who I went with, I not only mention the wonderful experience with KJ, I am also very honest on my negative experience with American Vision Windows.  Keep in mind I re did my entire house, 16 windows and a slider. This was not a one off job, $$ shouldn't matter when it comes to how you treat people but I guess if I was in his shoes I would try not to walk away from $10,000 in business.

Elias was one of the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of working with. He was degrading and insulting during his visit. He told me I am everything wrong with the millennial generation. Elias stated I have no sense of quality or good business and that he didn't believe me when I told him I learn best by doing my own market research when I asked if I could have some time to look into his brand and read the specs. I am not only a veteran, but an engineering manager; you can surely understand that I do in fact learn best when given the chance to do my own research. I told him I am in the industrial door business and he laughed in my face and said yeah right let me quiz you on contractors work. After he rattled off a,b or c questions to test my knowledge he paused and said you know what don't even try and answer that, obviously you don't know. When I thanked him for his time and said that I would be going with another company, he insulted me and laughed and said good look their quality is terrible, you're making a terrible decision. I was incredibly upset by the time he left. This is unacceptable and unprofessional for a salesman to make you feel so upset and irritated. Not sure how he's been in this business for 17 years as he continually threw in my face. I'm sure you can understand my unwillingness to respond to phone calls from your company. I hope not all of your companies salesmen treat individuals with such poor customer service.

We replaced the windows in our entire house.  Our first contact was with Elias, the Project Manager.  He was very informative and knowledgeable about the various options and products.  The installers, Josh and Hector were professional, courtesy, and took great care in covering the floors and furniture.  We could not be more happy with the finish work that they both did.The cleaned up everything when they left.  We are very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the windows.   We highly recommend American Vision Windows.

We had all of our windows (13 total) and two slider doors replaced by American Vision Windows. Our experience was first class with everyone involved. We were especially happy with their six installers (Mike, Job, Dale, Robert, Tanner & Martin). Upon arrival Mike, Job and I went room to room to verify each location and the measurements for each window set. Dale set out to cover up our possessions and flooring for protection against dirt and grit while performing their task. Tanner & Martin worked on the replacement of the two sliders while the others did the window replacements. They were all very attentive to our many questions and details during the install. They cleaned up very good upon completion of the install without any encouragement from us. Without a doubt, we consider these six installers the A Team. Thank you for a job well done.

We had 2 sets of Anlin Windows and Doors installed by American Vision Windows.  This review is for the second set in Oct 2018. Alyssia and Norm were great on the up front sales and technical questions. Josh and Dale did an outstanding job putting in a complex front bedroom window, 2 other bedroom windows and replacing some nasty Anderson Windows that did not perform as advertised!

P.S. I forgot to also thank Vincent for quickly providing a touch team. While replacing the 2 ill-performing Anderson windows with new Anlin single hung windows, stucco had to be chiselled out as Anderson over glues the windows rather than making a better fit. Vincent's team made everything right.

Amazing experience every step of the way, from the initial consultation all the way through installation day until completion of a job very well done! Knowledgeable, professional and considerate crew. We were in very good hands with Robert, Jobe and Geon. Very smooth process, thanks again for everything guys.

We had to have some repairs done to our windows today. Jonathan and Hector you were both polite, efficient and did an amazing job. We will be sure to ask for you by name, if we ever need anything again. Thank you both so much if I could give you 10 stars I would.

We had a beautiful new sliding glass door installed. The door itself is wonderful. The crew did not cover our furniture and got drywall dust all over everything that was in the living and dining rooms. They did use a tarp on the floor but it must have been very dirty. The crew told us to use a mop to clean the floor. We did and it got worse. They told us to rinse the mop and try again. We did and the floor would not come clean. We had their supervisor over today (installation was Feb 28/yesterday) and he was going to try and get a cleaning crew here today and have the floor cleaned and furniture dusted  before our guest arrives at 5pm. Here it is 4:35pm and the supervisor has not contacted us to follow-up on his attempt to get the cleaning done.
The crew also used the saw on the back patio next to the pool and there is sawdust floating on the water's surface. In 22 hours, it has yet to filter out.
I told the supervisor I would be fair and not write negative reviews if he followed up with us within our needed timeline. So...here I am with my first negative comments. There is more to the story but I want to give them one more day so that hopefully the next part of the review will be favorable. I am very unhappy with the sawdust in the pool and drywall dust on everything in the living room and dining room. All they had to do was cover everything or ask me to. I had no idea such a mess would be made.

Sales person came out and I signed the contract that day. Got through the next step of them measuring the windows...no problems.

I then received a call a few days later that the sales person had made a mistake and they wanted another $325 over the contracted price. Really? That's quite a mistake! Thanks but no thanks.

The only reason I'm even giving them a one star was because the sales person, Kevin was a good guy. Professional and knew his stuff.
The general manager in Phoenix was a different story. After meeting with the sales person on Friday, my wife and I talked about it and for $17,000 we thought the price was high. On Monday morning I called the office and was told that someone would call me back to cancel my agreement.

Kevin the sales guy called and said his general manager would call me back. He called me and after we spoke for some time he offered to drop the price the two thousand I had requested. I agreed. Before I hung up he said that in order to get the discount I had two agree to two things:

1. To allow my neighbors to view my windows if requested by his sales staff.
2. Second, to write a five start review for his sales person and his company.

After a sleepless night I called and then emailed the company to cancel my order. I just didn't think that writing a review before the work had even started was right. The sales person again emailed me and said that the GM would be in touch. I told him that I preferred a simple email that said the order had been cancelled and that my $1000 deposit would be credited back to my credit card.

Still no word back from the GM.  I'm really getting a bad feeling about a company that has so many great reviews, but forces you to write a five star review in order to get a discount.

Think twice before using these guys. Prices are through the roof, and I feel that at least the GM, is a little slimy. I maybe wrong, but so far that's my experience.

I called this company today, seeking help to replace broken AW slider door locks.  I was told they only deal with new sales and installations.  I asked for an AW parts ordering phone number or email. (I've left Vmails with an AW phone number I found online)...they could offer NO such information. I will not consider them for the rest of my window replacement project.

Job and Robert did an outstanding job installing our doors and windows.  Some of the install was complex, but they completed it quickly and professionally!

They even washed the sliding door windows that they had installed last month!  I highly recommend American Vision Windows, and especially Job and Robert!

I am a repeat customer of American Vision Windows, see Oct 2016.  This time I finished replacing all my windows.  I love the product from experience, because it installs quick and clean. Josh Blackwater, Martin Grijalva and Matt Warren showed up right on time, were very polite and were as professional as Trevor the AVW saleperson. They all had AVW t-shirts on so I felt like I was being taken care of by the AVW family.

After my installation experience with this company I cannot recommend them. I used them to install 6 windows in my house. I ordered them May 28th and they were eventually installed September 5th. Problems encountered:

1. The first person they sent to measure my windows measured them incorrectly. Of course they didn't figure this out until August 12th when they came to install the windows and realized they were the wrong size. I had taken the day off work for the install and since nothing was accomplished, the day was wasted.
2. I have no evidence but I am certain the initial installers they sent took cash (about $40) out of my wallet and stole my credit card information. I had cash in it the night before and later that day when I checked my wallet it was missing. The only other person who could have possibly taken the money was my girlfriend of 2 years who I trust 100%.
3. The painters they subcontracted to did not tell me they weren't going to show up until I called them after waiting 1 hour past their 7am appointment time. Yay, another day taken off work is wasted.
4. When the painters did show up a week later, they spilled paint on the rocks in my front yard and instead of telling me, they just kicked the rocks around in an attempt to cover their spillage.

On the positive side, they did discount my bill after realizing their measurement error. The salesman (Shane) was friendly and trustworthy. And when the finally did install my windows, George Gregg did a great job doing it. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to make up for all the problems they caused. I do not recommend this company.

Before I get to the sales part of the review, let me say you need to hope you get Job Morales and Robert Alvarado as installers! I was told between 7-8am for install, and they were here right at 7 and got started right away. I had 9 windows and a sliding patio door to do, and they finished by 2pm. They covered everything to prevent dirt and dust from settling on it, and cleaned up after themselves as they went from room to room, and cleaned each window as they finished it. They kept me advised on time updates and considered my family as they went. They were efficient and very professional! Fantastic job guys! Thank you!
As far as the sales side, Elias did a fantastic job recommending the right windows for our house, as we had an issue with heat transfer from the sun (even with sun screens) as well as noise from the street. The house is already quieter, and even though it's 97 currently, my air conditioner isn't running and the house is cooler. . Normally it's running almost nonstop. Also, Job suggested waiting 24 hours for the caulk to set up before I put the shades back up, so I don't have the shades blocking the sun right now, and it's still cooler!
We had a bit of a hiccup on which windows I actually ordered ( let Google be your friend) but Elias got it straightened out right away. Also, make sure when they come out to do the measure, you let him know what you're expecting so if there is a hiccup, they can fix it before the order is actually placed.
Do I recommend American Vision Windows? Absolutely! And they do more than windows and doors. I'm considering their painting service as well ( last time my house will ever need to be painted ). Are they the cheapest guys out there? No, but I've seen cheaper windows, and the Anlin windows that were installed are some of the best out there, and certainly the best for the Phoenix area, with a true Double Lifetime warranty ( us and the next homeowner should we ever sell ).

American Vision Windows installed all new windows in my house. Joe Morales and Robert Alvorado arrived on time and went right to work. If there was a concern, it was immediately discussed and settled. At the end of the first day they cleaned up any mess before leaving. It took three and a half days to finish the job working continuously.
I would highly recommend Joe and Robert to anyone who wants to have American Vision Windows installed.
And, yes, the windows are beautiful!! They make such a difference in the look of the house.

After receiving 3 or 4 window quotes I decided to purchase my windows from American Vision.  Rod did an amazing job on explaining everything and made me feel good about the purchase without the pressure.  The technician used to measure our windows was also great and personable.  Everyone I worked with was polite and kind.  The crew that installed our windows showed up on time and were very courteous.  Eric was there from start to finish and made sure everything was in working order prior to leaving.  He showed me how everything works and went through all of the paperwork.  They never once rushed me.  They also cleaned up after themselves.  

I had a few questions throughout the process.  Rod always responded quickly.  The process was smooth and everyone involved did an amazing job!  I would highly recommend this company and those I worked with!

We made arrangements to have 6/13 windows installed in our new home. Everyone from start to finish conducted themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Today (01/13/2017) my windows were installed by Job, Robert, and Albert, each of whom were kind, and respectful in every way. They worked efficiently, they used great communication (letting me know when they needed to be loud since my son was scared of the noise), they cleaned up after themselves (and even cleaned a little preexisting mess in their cleanup), they showed me how to use my new windows and ensured my satisfaction. I will definitely be getting the remaining 7 windows installed through American Vision. I look forward to more work with them. Thank you!

It's been a year since I had windows put in. I was hoping to mitigate, through time, some of the anger and outright disappointment I had with the installation and ultimately with the look of the finished product.
As a suggestion to prospective clients, don't settle by letting the sales agent just show you a sample window. Please save yourself some aggravation and disappointment by asking them to show you a full scale version and then have them explain in detail their installation technique, especially with their very, very liberal use of caulk.
The actual windows function well, but just knowing how much caulk was used for each installation, it still angers me. Most people know caulk as a finish product that seals joints, edges, etc. You just put some on and rub most of it off to give your edges, corners, whatever a finished look.
American vision window installers, however, pumped in pound after pound of caulk around all the openings, leaving half-inch to three-quarter inch visible caulk seams around the windows. They actually used pounds of the stuff for every opening.
My recommendation, don't use these people. They didn't respect the integrity of my house with their shoddy installation.

The sales process was relatively easy.  It did take a while to get the product in and when it arrived for installation, one of the doors was damaged at the manufacturer.  This happened twice, so the process took much longer than expected.  The installation had some issues as well, but all of this was resolved by Vincent Simplicio, their post-installation fixer.  He was super responsive and did everything he could to make things right.  Without him, my experience would be 2 stars.

We had been looking to replace our windows for about a year and no one we got bids from made us feel like it was the right decision. I found American Vision Windows through many hours of web searches. Every where I looked they came up with positive reviews and Anlin windows are amazing for replacements.
My husband talked to Elias and he listened to his story and concerns. He wanted nothing more than a bottom line price without negotiating back and forth numerous times to get the real price. My husband had all the measurements and simply emailed them to Elias and within 24 hours we had a price back that was several thousand dollars less than the very best price of the other guy!
Elias went over all the features of the product and what to expect from start to finish. He was accurate on all the time lines and was a wonderful salesman to work with.
When we finish our remodel we will be using American Vision Windows as well.
Our windows were set up to install about 3 weeks later and the crew of Ivan Garcia, Josh Blackwater, Yoddiel Garcia, and Martin Grijalva showed up right on time and covered everything and cleaned up as they went. They were very polite and efficient  and kept us informed of the progress. Later in the day another young man Geon showed up to help for awhile and made sure to find us and introduce himself. He also worked very hard and let me know when he left.
We had a small set back when 2 of the windows did not fit, Ivan told me right away and let me know he had called the office and the installer would be back first thing the next day. They finished up and left my clean.
The installer Vince Simplicio showed up the next morning even earlier than expected as he was very concerned about the mismeasure, he had been very thorough when he was out originally and could not understand what happened. The 2 windows were sliders with a half circle above and somehow in the manufacturing process they were not made correctly. Vince re measured again and he has had them reordered and we expect them to be installed in the next few weeks.
All in all everyone we have come in contact with has been very polite, friendly and professional. I would recommend them to any one wanting high quality window replacement at a fair price with a great team to work with.

Upon securing bids from three companies; we chose American Vision Windows to replace our home windows and an arcadia door.  We had an impressive experience from sales consult, detailed measure thru to installation.  We were promised the product would arrive in a 4-6 week window; we received the call to set up the install at the beginning of week six.  We were advised by our sales consultant and the detail measure expert that our seven windows and one arcadia door would entail one full day for installation.  Once the date for install was set, our impression continued to exceed expectations.  Four young men arrived promptly and stayed the full eight hours to complete our project.  All four installers were respectful of myself and our property, courteous, managed their time efficiently, expertly installed our windows, caulked all in a significant manner, installed the plant ons exactly as requested, cleaned up every area completely and gave me a thorough walk thru of the finished project.  Grateful to the two lead installers; namely, Ivan and Josh as well as their respective assistant installers; namely, Yaddiel and Hector.  American Vision Windows' follow up videos, by the owners, were appreciated.  I would highly recommend this business to any prospective buyer of these products.  I also hope you are fortunate enough to have these young men complete your installation!

After reading  the good reviews on Yelp we call American Vision.Great, no pressure salesman came out to do estimate. Listened to what we wanted, I mean listened! Good deal, discounts, and quality.

Called for a quote/estimate. While the woman on the phone was very polite, I was told that the project manager would call me back within the hour to schedule the appointment.

Never received a phone call.

I appreciate that they will come out for free to provide a quote, but not that they say they're going to call you, and don't.

UPDATE: Received a call - a week later. While I appreciated the return call, I no longer required their services. Had I still needed window replacements, I would probably have gone with someone else at that point.

I can't seem to locate a Scottsdale location - just the Mesa location at 2240 W Broadway. It appears they have multiple profiles indicating other locations. Be sure to take a moment to peruse the reviews on all their profiles...

I had great experience with American Vision Windows. Rod came to the initial sales appointment and, even though I thought I knew what I wanted, he was patient and offered several alternative solutions. After deciding on a different door that better suited my needs (and my budget) Rod was on his way.  He was professional and polite and patient with our unique household and three pets.  After only a day or two, the masterful measuring (and design) technician, Norm, came to measure the door. Norm was friendly, professional and meticulous about his measurements.  When he started to review the order, he EMPATHIZED with our situation and asked if I was 'sure' about the color of the door.  (I thought I was sure!) Norm then showed me pictures of white doors/windows on brown houses, and it made me realize I wasn't really sure!!  Norm's experience and helpful attitude helped me see what I could not... that a white door would have been a big mistake!! He brought in samples from his car, so I could 'see for myself', which helped me more than he will ever know.

Like others who have reviewed, I am always skeptical of construction work done to my house.  Having family in the Midwest who have used Andersen, and Pella windows, I came into the project jaded to say the least.

I can happily say, that from start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way.  I had 3 large windows replaced, and the difference was noticeable immediately.  I simply can't believe what modern glass will do to help keep a south facing room cool in direct sunlight.  My house was built in the late '80's, and the glass has never been replaced.  My Wife and I couldn't even open the sliders due to old age, and really felt like we were closed in in the cooler months.

The install crew was very, very professional.  On time, in uniform, and very polite.  They asked about any minor thing that wasn't originally discussed.  They cleaned up so well, that they actually ran the shop-vac all the way to the street to make sure no residual trimmings were left on the sidewalk.  They took their time, and made sure the windows were seated correctly, even tho the house had settled out of square. They really make sure the window is seated, AND insulated properly.  Absolutely key to keeping the heat at bay.  The windows that were installed, were cut to fit perfectly on my stucco pop out on the front of my house, with no extra stuccoing required.

My Wife was very happy with the exterior look that the windows added to the house, and we can now leave the sunscreens off even in the summer.  It really brightens the interior without penalty.  She was so pleased, that I've actually scheduled another round of estimates for more to be replaced.

Hopefully my review will give you confidence to at least have them out and give you a pitch.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Communication during estimation and installation was clear and set my expectations properly. Install was on time, quick but not rushed, and the team (Mike H, Geon, and Jacob) was respectful and careful within our space. They were meticulous and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left. The windows themselves are a great and cooler upgrade from the old (hot) frames and glass we had. Job well done from early conversations to finish.

Gave them a chance simply based on a radio commercial.  Elias was very efficient and knowing what I was looking for he gave me a price that never changed.  Had them do 11 windows first time around, and then gave them the project for the remainder of my windows a year later.  Crew showed up on time both times, introduced themselves to me individually, took care to protect the interior of my home, and just went about their business installing with no wasted time.  Love the clean seal on the outside of each window, can't tell they were not original.  Very attentive to clean up afterwards as well.  Dale, Joe, Drew and Hector really managed my installations and their crews.  Elias took the time to send a handwritten thank you note as well, nice old school, professional touch.  Only one hiccup and a little more proactive communication would have been appreciated but so minor would not change my rating.

We spent over a year working with American Vision Windows.  They were responsible for the demolition and installation of 16 foot sliders in our home.  I'm only giving 4 stars because the project took considerably longer than expected.  There were many challenges with the project and they made every effort to provide us exactly what we wanted.  We were very satisfied with the workers.  They did their best to keep the worksite clean and keep the dirt confined to the work area.  They were pleasant and respectful as well as helpful.  We were extremely happy with Vincent Simplicio the engineer that oversaw the project.  He went above and beyond to address any issues or concerns.  We would not hesitate to use American Vision Windows for future projects.  Workmanship = A, Customer Service = A+

Great experience with American Vision Windows!  I had just moved the the area and a Monsoon hit and due to the widows installed by the previous owners (Garage Door Glass Windows) that were not installed correctly or should have been installed in the first place my family room was flooded.  I called American Vision windows for help and Elias came out the same day I called and helped me out.  He was amazing and I could not have at the time had a better person in my home with me and the situation.  Elias even went the extra mile and asked for one of the installers to come over on their way home and cover my window in case another storm hit or many before the new windows were installed to try and avoid anymore water damage in my home.  I am grateful and thankful for him and how much he cared about about the situation after seeing it.   Alicia who also had a huge hand in getting my windows on order and on time to fix this for me as soon as possible was amazing as well and I enjoyed every time I dealt with her through the process.  When it came time for the installation both Josh and Hector were wonderful the install went flawless, they were very nice and professional, so informative about any questions I had and they did a beautiful job!!  Thank you Elias, Alicia, Josh and Hector for everything.  What a great team these people are!!

Pretending to be a local company. This is a national company that only offers referrals to actual local businesses. The local business that they referred me to quoted me a price that was more than 2x other quotes I had received while shopping around. Don't waste your time here

We had a tub removed and changed to a walk in shower.  Dale and Jared were very professional, they cleaned up afterwards and answered our questions and explained the procedure.  They did a great job.

Our home is 38 years old with original windows. We needed them replaced and got 4 estimates. American vision windows sales rep was very knowledgeable and very reasonable price. They said it would take about six weeks and that's about exactly what it took they came in replaced nine windows in one day the installers were polite and efficient we are very happy with the whole process in fact my daughter is having her home done Buy them also. They covered all the carpets and furniture with plastic and cleaned up before they left. Thank you

We had our new shower remodel and update done by Jared (Robinson) and Dale along with Chad.  These men were prompt and clean and finished when they said they would.  All done totally to our satisfaction and I would highly recommend them for bath remodels.

Unlike Cathy W's experience, our was great. We interviewed 4 local window companies about replacing the windows, patio door and entry doors on our 1957 block construction home in Scottsdale. American Vision installs Anlin Windows. I researched their product and found Anlin to be my choice because of construction quality and attention to detail. PLEASE listen closely to the sales person. Look for the details you want and make sure you get what you want. We wanted argon gas filled double pane windows. We wanted our installers to be employees of the company and not sub-contractors. A 1099 employer is a sub-contractor and not an employee.

Rod Troyer was our salesman. He was friendly and informative without being too pushy. Of course he had to try to close the deal on the first visit, but that is business. Expect to pay a small down payment to get the work started.

Expect a separate person to come and measure the windows and doors. Expect to pay 50% of the purchase price at this time. Expect about 4 weeks for the Anlin factory to produce YOUR windows. Expect about a week or two for scheduling the installation. In summer try to accommodate the workers at an early hour to help them with the heat.

On installation day have a 3 foot access indoors and our around your windows and doors. AND expect to have them remove ALL your windows before they begin to install the new ones. (Our install day it was 113 degrees, whew.) You can also expect the installers to be courteous, knowledgeable and quick in their work. If you have many windows/doors expect to have a crew come out on the second day to finish the work of sealing, caulking and fitting.

Our installers, Mark, Rob & Greg, among others, were just great. Of course it is a major production and we had to adjust to a hot house, but there was no mess and no stress. The old doors and windows were removed as was all the packing for the new products.

We had an extra trip for someone to refit the doors so they were weather tight and the latched worked properly, but that was efficiently done. Over all, we could not be more pleased with our windows and doors than we are with American Vision.

It is daunting to buy replacement windows - there are many suppliers, everyone claims theirs is the best, and with so many variables it can be tough to establish what a reasonable quality/price level should be (which naturally vary among buyers by need, perception of quality and of course budget).

We had reps from Window World and Elite come by but AVW's Troy sold us with his knowledge and the professionalism of his presentation.  The Anlin line appealed to us as it met our value/quality criteria, and offered the frame colors and other options we wanted

The office staff stayed in touch throughout the process, and the installers, Job and Shawn, did an excellent job.  As noted here by others, they are professional and courteous.  It took them 1.5 days to install five windows and two sliding doors, and the detail work such as caulking and cleanup were excellent.  

Niggles: Afterwards I noted a small nick on one interior frame, and two tiles around the kitchen window got knocked loose.  So not while the installation was not *perfect*, this critical aspect of a window purchase did not disappoint and we are very satisfied. Highly Recommended.

This company is fantastic.

We had entered a contest raffle at an event (always entering, never winning) and I was very surprised when I received a call telling me that I had won.  I never win anything, especially a brand new sliding glass door.  It was perfect timing as we were just closing on our new home and the sliding glass door already there was a little ragged.  They set a time to come out and measure and that was when we met Elias.

Elias was fantastic.  He was very professional and didn't try and pressure us into additional product or services.  He explained that we had won a ply-gem triple pane Euroglide door.  It sounded wonderful.  He went though the options with us so that we could select the colors we wanted and and just like that it was ordered.  

Once the door came in we got a call to schedule the install.  I was not home for this part of it but my girlfriend was very impressed with how efficient and professional the install team was.  They went over all the information with her so that she could educate me on it later.  The new door was amazing and the glide system on this thing makes it so easy to open and close (I have experienced some heavy and awkward sliding doors in my time).  We had no issues and the team did not leave any trace that they had been there.

A few weeks later we realized that there was not a secondary handle on the door like the previous one had.  So I called up Elias and we found out that the secondary latch was required if you have a pool per city code.  So Elias and Alicia (who takes care of scheduling and ordering) did everything they could to get a team out to try and install the latch.  We found out from the team that this door was not able to have a secondary latch installed but that if we have a permanent pool fence it is not needed.  This was a relief because we were planning on installing one as we have large dogs and want to make sure they don't fall in.  Crisis averted.  It was good to know that they really cared and tried to help find a solution.

At some point within the next couple of months I noticed that part of the screen on the door had broken.  It was on the back of the door and didn't impair the function but looked like it had simply been a manufacturer weakness in the part.  I let American Vision know that they immediately ordered the part for us so that it could be replaced.  Once the part came in, the tech came out and took care of it for us.  He was also very professional and efficient.  Everything is working great and the door still looks amazing.

I would definitely recommend this company.  They have been nothing but genuine and provided excellent customer service.  We will definitely return to them if we need additional replacements with the house.

I am a contractor and know all the pitfalls of home improvement. It has been a while since Elias came over and his crews installed windows and doors.  Just as pleased as the first day.  The entire experience was first class and I still get thrilled when I pull up to the house and see the way it looks. My wife gets thrilled when she gets the electric bill.

My experience with this company was excellent - I would absolutely recommend them to family/friends.  

To be honest, I was dreading the process of purchasing windows for my new home, and my initial consultations with valley companies didn't help.  Windows are expensive, salespeople use superfluous language about window technology to confuse you into thinking their products are superior, and everyone put a lot of pressure on you to sign up in order to not miss their big special pricing window.  Fortunately I stumbled across this Yelp page prior to going with another company.

My main point of contact during the purchase was Alicia.  She is professional, knowledgeable, and - most importantly - patient.  Understanding the magnitude of this purchase, she took a significant amount of time (often well after business hours) to talk me through the various window options and provided layman explanation for all the terminology.  Best part - the price was fantastic!  

Windows arrived on schedule, and the installers were efficient, clean, and professional.  I had to leave for work about 1/2 way through the install, and had a call from Alicia that one of the bay windows had been scratched during the process.  Before I even got home, they had taken the skew, ordered a new window, and provided me a rough estimate of when they'd be out to replace the pane.  Honestly, I wouldn't have even noticed the scratch, but Alicia wanted to make certain everything was 100% taken care of.  

All in all it was refreshing to find a company that cared so much about customer service and took the time to provide clarity on the various options.  You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't consider this company for your home window purchases.

We contacted American vision Windows because the people that live behind us had their windows put in by American vision Windows and we thought they were great. From the start to the finish they did exactly what they said. They showed up for their appointment and our sales rep was very professional his name is Elias. His presentation was very informative. Not one crew but two crews showed up to put in our windows. They were courteous and went right to work taking out our old windows and putting in the new ones. They washed  the windows when they were done and we couldn't be happier. I would highly, highly recommend this company and have recommended them to at least 3 people.

I bought Windows from this company more than a year ago and I've noticed a huge difference in my electricity bill. Couldn't believe it!

I went to a trade show in Tucson, and got estimates from around 8 window companies.  I would have given a higher star rating based on the professionalism of the installers.  I had two crews installing my 18 windows and a sliding glass door, Sergio Zacarias Jr. and Sr., from California who really were EXCELLENT workers and know their craft, and Greg Aguirre and Jeff Adams from Phoenix, who were also personable and professional.  I had to have all the blinds, curtains and valances taken down professionally before they came, and reinstalled when the windows were finished.  Everything went well except the blinds for the sliding glass door.  They don't fit any longer, and I am going to need to call up the company and see if we can work that problem out.

The biggest problem I had with AVW was with Jeremy, the man who gave me an estimate on the project.  Since I went to the home show I received several discounts; however, one of the discounts I was told I would get if I made a decision to hire AVR and give them a deposit within three days, was not honored.  When Jeremy wrote out the estimate it was messy and unclear.  There was a lot of confusion concerning the estimate and discounts.  I spoke with Elias, manager in the Phoenix office, concerning the problems I had with Jeremy, and  Elias told me Jeremy was thinking of discounts to an inferior window than what I ordered, and I could not get the 5% discount I was promised if I paid by check instead of a credit card.  We worked something out, but I was still out several hundreds of dollars than what was discussed at the time of the estimate.

The windows and sliding glass door look great, and I am really happy with the quality.

Lets just start this review with the bottom line: This company is phenomenal.

OK this is a little bit of a story, so get comfy.

My husband and I attended the Yelp Pley Date at the children's museum this year, which might I add ROCKED! When you walked in the door you were given a raffle ticket and off to your left you could get your picture taken and there was a drawing. One for an IPAD 3 and one for a sliding glass door. Now my husband and I are gadget freaks however we have a couple of tablets, and me being the sensible one, (sorry honey), said, You know what I am going to enter the sliding glass door drawing. So we put one ticket in each fish bowl, and moved on to the delights further in.

I honestly gave this no more thought until I received the phone call from American Vision Windows stating I had won, I was utterly ecstatic.

Now mind you I have wanted to replace our windows in our home for a while, it was built in 1960 and we have single pane steel casing windows which equal a GIANT electric bill, but the money hasn't been available to do that yet, as other home improvements are currently going on, remember....built in 1960.

Elias came out, to measure our Door and he is awesome. He has fantastic customer service skills and was a real pleasure to talk to.

Fast forward 4 weeks later and our door is in. Now we were able to order a triple pane, Ply Gem, four paneled sliding glass door that parts in the middle. It looks A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! They gentlemen that came out to install it were professional and had the work done in about 3 1/2 hours.

I will be posting Before and After Pictures as soon as I get the chance to sit at my computer at home to do a side by side comparison.

This is a class act. I have told all of my coworkers, and family when they need windows this is where to go and when we do have the finances to make that happen, I have Elias on speed dial!!!

We replaced the windows in our whole house last year and have been totally pleased with their performance and quality.  Today we had the last remodel window installed by Ricardo and Derrick with American Vision.  What courteous, professional, and accomodating gentlemen they were!  Our framers did not properly prepare the opening and these guys never batted an eye.  Went ahead, fixed the probblem, installed the window, and replaced a screen on our slider, too.  We have never had better windows or service from a contractor.  Thank you.

We received a triple-pane gas-filled Ply Gem sliding glass door in a drawing. This is a gorgeous fixture and the insulation it provides is worlds beyond the single-pane aluminum frame door I had before. (which had been broken in an attempted burglary, so even better that we got it replaced!)

Elias came to our house to measure and didn't pressure us at all. He gave us some quotes for other windows in the house that came in way below what Home Depot was quoting (and they were offering higher quality windows on top of that) and we will probably end up ordering them in the future.

The two gentlemen that came to install the unit were professional and polite, and the work they did was very good. They took away the old door and now my living room is much, MUCH cooler during the day. I can leave the curtains open now without worrying about the entire house going up three degrees.

I couldn't be happier and I would recommend Elias and American Vision to anybody.

Today was a very exciting day for my husband and I. We had 7 windows replaced by 3 amazingly talented young men. The job was done in minimal time and was done excellently. I would like to thank American Vision Windows for providing us with such excellent and professional installation staff. AVW treated my family and I great! If anyone is thinking of getting new windows, I highly reccommend this company. The sales woman who came out was great. I didnt feel pushed or rushed into anything and she took her time to show me all the different options I had for windows.

When I decided to purchase windows from this company I was only planning on replacing some of my windows but with the outcome of the price, I decided to replace all the windows in my home.

The windows look beautiful inside and out and I love the wood grain frame.  It matches perfect with my wood flooring. I also notice that there isnt any heat coming inside like what I used to experience before replacing my windows. I can now open my curtains and not worry about it letting heat into my home.  

The installers were very friendly and professional. They made sure to clean up anything they had left behind while doing the installation.

We were having some issues with an install American Vision did for us almost four years ago. It was all normal wear and tear stuff. Tanner showed up almost an hour early and fixed the issues we knew we were having plus some we didn't know about. He was supposed to be here between 9 and 10. He got everything done and was gone by 9:15. Thanks, Tanner and American Vision!!

I just replaced the windows on my 1979 ranch home which were poorly needed. American Vision Windows gave me a very high quality product and installation at a price lower than I expected. The salesman was very easy going and worked with me to get a price that I was comfortable with. I went with the Arizona package which has made a huge difference in the comfort level inside our home. They were great at communicating and everything happened when they said said it would. The install team was clean, courteous, and professional. The lifetime warranty on the product and installation gives me great peace of mind knowing that this wasn't only an upgrade to my home but also an investment into my future as I plan on living here for a very long time. I highly recommend AVW for all of your window and door needs!

We ordered 3 windows a couple yrs ago from American Vision and have been so happy with them we decided to replace the rest of our 9 windows  We had a great experience with the project manager Rod and person who came out to measure.  Even though we ordered right around the holidays our order came in one time. I was very impressed with the installers (Job M., Robert A., Martin, & Matt).  They arrived on time. They had to move a large play structure outside in order to replace our upstairs windows and they did so with no problem.  They did a great job keeping me updated on the job and cleaning up after they were done.  I'm extremely happy with our windows.  We ordered the Arizona Package and love how quiet they are. We don't hear any traffic anymore!

We had a great experience with this window company. My husband shopped around a bit and was happy with their price, for the high quality windows we were getting. He worked with them to get the windows measured, including some odd ones like a door that we were converting to a window. We had all the windows for our house custom ordered and got them in about 2 months, as estimated. They took two days for the install and I was there for the second day. The man who had done the measurements came to inspect and confirm the install was going well. The two installers were very diligent and polite. They layed down sheets so they didn't track dirt inside and were very considerate when I was on the phone for work. They answered all our questions and we were really happy with the install. The company was also very helpful. I wanted to change my form of payment and they accommodated me when I showed up at their office at the end of the day to have them dig up my paperwork. They were great to work with and the windows are wonderful. The double paned windows block out the loud street noise so well!

We just got our windows installed yesterday. From the salesman to the install, we had a great experience. The install crew was amazing. They were respectful, friendly and cleaned up as the went. The windows looks great and I couldn't be happier. Buying windows was our 1st major expense since buying our 1st home. I had my Great room windows replaced today by Job Morales and Robert Alvarado. They both are pleasant, very detailed and terrific installers. The windows look great!

Just moved into my new home and noticed that my office was overhot from the sun and its not even summer yet so had no issues with calling American Vision Windows as they had installed windows in my old home.  The only problem is the girl that I originally talked to was as dumb as a rock.  Told her several times that this was a new install at a new location but she still sent Elias to the old house.  Fortunately Elias called me and came straight over to the new house.  We went over what I wanted.  Today the new windows were installed by Tanner and Ryan. They were both very professional and went right to work, completing the task quickly and efficiently.  I would highly recommend American Vision Windows to anyone that wants a very high quality window.

I want to start off my review by saying thank you to my installers Geoff and Danny!! They were by far the most polite, informative and professional people I have had the privilege of dealing with. I have had to deal with a lot of contractors and sub contractors during the remodeling of my home. I am grateful I called American Vision Windows because they gave me a clear cut quote, they made a valid effort to get this done within the time frame I needed, and they sent out two great guys that explained everything about the windows to me from beginning to end and these guys had some great conversation and were knowledgeable of their jobs and exceeded my expectations. I am very satisfied with my windows and with the job that was done thus far. I look forward to seeing the improvement to my first electric bill since the install.

We contracted with American Vision Windows to install a custom Titan Security Door for the front of our home.  The salesperson Elias was knowledgable and gave us many options and colors to choose from.  The door was installed without any problems and the new door looks great!! We have had several comments from the neighbors saying that the door looks great!! When we are ready to do our windows we will certainly call Elias and have American Vision do our windows because we know it will be done the right way at a fair price.

American vision windows  replaced three windows for me and converted a large picture window into a sliding patio door. They took care of all the details including applying for a city permit and the subsequent inspections. Elias was a very friendly, professional and informative salesperson. Alicia, in the office, kept me up-to-date regarding the permit, window shipment and installation dates. Vincent was on top of the installation details and Job and Robert did a very careful installation.  I was very impressed with the care they took to keep my home clean, dust-free, without debris or footprints. The subcontractors who came to do a little jar drywall repair and stucco were also top notch.   You can get windows for less money but these are supposed to be developed specifically for the Arizona climate. They look beautiful and when the weather gets hot again I can assess if they are as good as I think they will be.   Thank you American vision windows for my new windows and patio door!

I just had my windows installed with these guys and they were very good. The whole experience was very pleasant. The guys came out, installed the windows, and they even cleaned up their mess. One glass installed was not exactly what I ordered, but the General Manager called me back and told me they would replace it at no cost. That was a hug plus. Very happy with our American Vision Windows! We had all the windows in our home done. Everyone we came in contact with from this company was awesome and very professional! John was our salesman and he was friendly, professional and great at communication. After we selected the types of windows we wanted, they then sent another employee out and he was very diligent about measuring everything precisely. He too was very professional! As promised, the windows arrived on time and we received a call from Joanne reminding us of the day and time for our installation. We also received an email with a professional video on what to expect and how to prepare the house for installation. Sergio and his two man crew showed up on time both days and they were extremely professional. They worked their butts off the entire time they were here. No wasting time, no smoke breaks, cleaned up the mess, showed me how to open and lock windows and remove screens which by the way, seem way easier to remove then our old window screens. We love the way our white trim windows look! We are shocked at how new our 28 year old house looks! We thought it would just improve the insulation and update the look a little. It's amazing how nice and new it makes the house look! And we LOVE the rain glass in the master bathroom! Looks beautiful and no need to put ugly blinds over them. In case it wasn't obvious...I highly recommend American Vision Windows!!!

Elias, Arlene and the rest of the Crew at American Vision Windows are outstanding to work with!  We needed to replace a window that was not very efficient.  Elias came out to the house, took measurements and reviewed options with us.  The window came in when scheduled and the install was seamless.  Very professional and friendly installers.  The outside screen was defective, but Elias reordered and a new one was delivered and installed.  I'm very happy with the service and professionalism that Elias and his crew provided!  I will continue to use them as we move forward with window replacements.  What can I say Elias and Arlene are Great People!  I would highly recommend to others.

Our house was built in 1974 and had all single pane non-safety glass windows. We have considered remodeling so have put off purchasing new windows. We came to the realization that we needed to go ahead and get new windows for both heating/cooling and safety.
Our salesman was new and we ended up having to change the order when the gentleman came out to measure and informed us of some code issues but thankfully, that is why they come out and make sure that the order is ok before sending to manufacturing.
There were some timing issues due to our summer vacation and the size of the job.
We were slightly mislead by the office scheduling that this would be a three day job and when we started to have issues, the scheduler Lindey became difficult to reach. Fortunately, there was a person in California (Jim) who called to see how the job was going and was right on it when we had an issue. He called the field supervisor (Mike) who came right over to the house instead of simply calling us and explained in detail what was entailed for the job and why it was going to take longer and be more involved due to permits and inspections. That is all we wanted - was to be informed and understand the process.
The best part of this company is the workers - Sergio, his helper (I cannot remember his name), Job and Shawn were all polite and hard workers. Mike sent a second crew over to our house so that everything besides permit work could be completed that day and they stayed until it was. The second crew was just as nice and just as hard working. They were also very obliging to the fact that we had pets.
We went back and forth on whether to get vinyl or metal windows. We are quite happy with these as they do not stand out anymore, we simply see through them to the view. They definitely cut the glare and most definitely the heat. There is a slight green/grey hue to them and they are somewhat reflective but not to the point that we regret our purchase. The rest of the project is scheduled for next week so hopefully all will go smoothly with the second phase as well.

I cannot begin to describe how amazing my experience with Elias at American Vision Windows was.  

First, Elias came out to give us the scoop, took a look at our metal clunker of a sliding door and decided that it would be best to get the PlyGem door that everyone here apparently has too?  (Great quality door, people must FLOCK to it). So we decided on a color scheme (white door, silver handle, beautiful) and that was it.  It was so easy.  There was a discussion about what would fit best in the home and it didn't feel like he was trying to up-sell at all.  Just a guy filled with knowledge and willing to answer your questions to make sure you're ordering the right door.

4-weeks later we got the call the door was in... ::GASP::

We were so excited as our metal clunker was an eyesore and my parents were coming into town, WITHIN A WEEK.  We had NEVER expected to get the door that quickly so we were ecstatic.   We made an appointment for the following Tuesday.

Tuesday comes and the guys knock on the door, I (like a giddy schoolgirl) scream 'COME ON IN!' and they let me know to avoid getting the floor dirty they'd prefer to go through our back gate.  AWESOME THINKING! I was just too giddy to think that far ahead to my mussed up carpets, but in all honesty, for the job they did, I'll take a little dirt on my carpets.

They quote me 4 hours, no problem.  I had cleared my schedule so this was no concern, however at the end of July it was disgustingly hot outside.  I had clearly not thought far enough to realize there would be a gaping hole in the side of my house. I turn down the AC and hope for the best.  TWO HOURS LATER, the guy calls me from downstairs (I locked myself upstairs in the AC) and lets me know they'e done.  DONE?  I was just thinking we were halfway there and you're done??? It's like being told on December 15th that Christmas has been moved to tomorrow!  You almost NEVER are told the right time for services anymore, and in all seriousness, they told me 4 hours, I assumed 5-6.  That's just how my mind works.  Thus I was flabbergasted to see that they had finished the door, vacuumed up (how did I not hear that?) and trashed the funky metal remnants in their truck already.  WHAT?! That was astounding. He literally had the paper on the clipboard for me to sign and was there to explain the door to me.

The then tells me about the amazing features, the multiple locks, the energy savings, and I cannot hear any of it because all I can think of is how beautiful it is.  I take notes so that I can read them back later when I calm down.  He showed me the ropes and smiled on his way out, seeming genuinely happy for me.  Normally I feel like service people are genuinely happy to have left so they can grab a beer, but this service guy seemed like he was almost jealous that I had gotten such a cool door.  Sweet.

Lastly, after a couple of weeks  of looking at the door, I realized that something was off.  BAH!!! I hadn't ordered a door with a second handle and that wont be to code with our pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Crushing blow to the stomach, I try to keep it together when I have my boyfriend call Elias the next day.  He goes through the BOOK and looks through all of the options that we have, trying to help us out.  He did not have to do this, he could have said, too-bad, good luck selling the house down the road! so I appreciated that he cared enough about our freak-out moment to help us out.  After some questioning, he gets it out of us that we were planning on putting in a permanent pool fence (we have clumsy Great Danes) thus meaning that we do not have to have the second handle to be up to code, if we have a pool fence.

So in all seriousness it was a seamless experience; from ordering the door, to the install, to when Elias had to play anxiety counselor while we had a mini heart attack.  That to me conveys a business that is willing to go above and beyond, and I definitely appreciated them from start to finish.  I'm only worried that this experience will cause me to trust other service providers the same way that Elias has earned our trust.  Need to beef up my serious face before the pool fence guys come! At least I know when we get any doors or windows done, we won't have to prepare for battle ever again.

They have a great story, but that's about it. Unfortunately, we bought into their tall tales of expert installation with installers who are certified with some special designation - which I think might just be made up. The install was horrible. We purchased a front door and a huge picture window. We decided to go with American Vision (even though they are more expensive) because we knew the install would be critical. Pieces of trim were stuck on with double sided tape,and started peeling up within a few hours. The caulking around the window looked like my 10 year old did it, and the trim around the window started coming up withing a day.  When I spoke to the office to have these items fixed, they scheduled someone to come out. They showed up with a specific work order in hand, but somehow didn't have the right tools or supplies to fix any of the issues. Very frustrating, as I had to schedule another day for another crew to come out. They also made three large holes in the outside of the roof overhang (this was a necessary part of the install), which they were going to come back and repair. We were given the follow-up work order, and told the office will call to schedule someone to come out and finish the repairs. Beware of this green follow-up work order. I'm pretty sure it goes right into the circular file. We received a few of  these green sheets, and no one ever called us. I always had to call them. The fixes were barely acceptable, but we didn't want them to mess it up any worse, so we will live with the sub-par work, The holes in our overhang - surprise, we were never contacted by the office to schedule. We didn't follow up for the holes, though. After realizing their shoddy work, we decided to have our painter fix that area.

AVW team of Sergio, Robert & Robert just installed our new windows. These guys did a such great job, I'm a little embarrassed I didn't cook them up a nice steak dinner! Super hard working, polite, and minimally disruptive to our household. Did a great job cleaning up, too. I found an outside window expert who analyzed the data on my Anlin brand choice and told me I likely bought the best windows on the market. American Vision Window - Mesa office/warehouse team were SUPER friendly, efficient, & cooperative with scheduling, etc. Most important, is how much we LOVE our new windows!

I would love to say the process of putting new windows in my home was perfect, but the reality is...nothing in this world is perfect.

I did have issues throughout the process, however Elias and Arlene went above and beyond to make everything right and ensure I was happy.  Even after the issues I experienced I am very glad that I chose American Vision Windows because of the A+ customer service I received.  Today so many companies just don't care about their customers anymore, that is NOT the case with Elias and Arlene at American Vision Windows.  In the end absolutely love, love, love my new windows and sliding glass door!

We needed two doors (Entry Door and a Titan Security Door) reinstalled today (Nov 13, 2015).  The installers, Ricardo and Sean, were outstanding.  Not only are they highly professional doing the install (doors fit close to perfect, look and work great), but they also put extra effort into doing detailed finish work, are very clean, on-time for the appointment and friendly.  These two installers also installed a thermo pane window three weeks ago, also outstanding install.  I highly recommend American Vision Windows to anyone in the valley who needs door or windows.

Recently bought a house and had AVW install all the windows in our house. The old windows we got with the house were horrible and really needed replacing. We live about a block away from major road and the freeway. Got the Arizona package and was concerned that the windows would not block out the noise. The Arizona package was supposed to reduce energy bills. It's been three months since we've had our new windows. The outside noise levels has been reduced considerably but I've not noticed any reduced energy bills and we've been using the air conditioner as we had before the windows were installed, and that was only for one month, so I don't really have a comparison there. I have noticed more humidity in the house.

So I had a very unique situation and a very specific timeline. American Vision Windows was able to accommodate both. And not only were they able to accommodate my very specific needs they blew my expectations out of the water. I called for an estimate and Bob came out to assist me. He was professional yet took a personal interest in me and my situation. It was clear he wasn't going after a sale but wanted to understand my needs and help. He asked good questions, gave good suggestions, and while providing me with various options did not pressure me toward any specific one. In short, he didn't try to push and up-sell me. I HIGHLY recommend American Vision Windows. It is clear they are built around taking GREAT care of their customers. I received a verification call to let me know when they were coming out and I received a follow up call to make sure everything was excellent. It was! The technician who took care of the install was also very kind and did a great job keeping everything clean. He was friendly toward me and my kids who wanted to watch :)  Everything the representatives of American Vision Windows said they would do they did with excellence and in the time frame they said. Give them a chance to earn your business. I'm confident you will be thrilled you did.

I called the CA location to schedule an appointment and the lady said she could schedule the appointment for us. The time came, but no one showed up. I heard great things about the company, so I called and spoke with Elias. He apologized and set up the appointment again. I'm so glad I did not give up right away! The sales rep, Shane, came out and unlike the two reps from the other companies, he gave us a demonstration on the product (heat lamp, visual comparisons, etc). My husband and I were both impressed with the product and we decided to go with them. We purchased the Arizona Package for our windows. I really liked how AVW offered more than the standard Milguard and Pella options. The tech, Davin, came to remeasure the windows and he was on time and professional. I received a call from the scheduling department when the windows arrived and I ran into a bit of trouble. I had to call the lady three times (over the course of two weeks) before I received a call back. I wasn't impressed with that and I hope that my experience was an exception to the norm. I had to request a push for an earlier installation date as the one originally offered interfered with family visiting from out of town. The installers, George and Josh, arrived on time and went right to work. They did a great job installing the windows. I was incredibly impressed with the window fit and the caulking. They worked one window at a time to reduce the increase of heat inside of my home. They were scheduled to finish the job over the course of two days, but they finished it on the first day. My house feels much cooler and my neighbors have complimented on the overall look. I'm so glad I chose this company and we stayed with them!  I would give them 5 stars, but after the installation scheduling issue, I am only giving them 4. I will definitely use this company in the future!

UPDATE

A bit after I posted the below review, I did receive a call from the company to discuss. They were very apologetic and understanding. They did take my suggestion of not having the customer fill out the survey right away and have now instituted a mail in process instead. They also offered a Home Depot gift card (or payment to my landscaper) for my trampled plants. She also indicated she knew exactly what I was talking about on the interaction between the installers because that is their way. She did speak to them on keeping a more professional attitude while on the job site. I very much appreciated the follow up. A lot of companies do nothing with complaints even when you send it directly to them. I have already referred someone else to the company.

I wanted to add a review to the actual company's website, but I could not figure it out. I'm curious where all the testimonials came from.

I have mixed feelings on my experience. In the end, I think I ended up with some beautiful windows, though. My salesperson was very engaging. I felt pretty confident in my decision to go with American Vision Windows after that first experience. There was some miscommunication on scheduling the measurement, but it worked itself out fairly quickly. I started to lose confidence when I was told a specific date that my windows would be in, but never heard anything from the company four days after that date. When I called them to find out where my windows were, I was told they had just received them and they could schedule my install in 2 weeks. Since I only had Saturday install available, that was understandable. The Friday before my install, they called to reschedule to the following weekend because the rainstorm (that just occurred that day) had put them behind two days. Again, I guess that was fairly understandable, but I felt like the peon that was the easiest to push off.

Luckily the installers did show up the following Saturday on the earlier side of the provided time frame. I kind of don't know what to say about the install. There were two guys, one seemed to know what he was doing, the other I had less confidence in. The job took 4 hours to install 6 windows. During the entire transaction I was never told how long the install would take, so I'm not sure if that was normal or not. The two guys actually seemed to be fighting during the entire install. I believe the head guy was joking around with the other by basically telling him he sucked. I think the other guy was genuinely getting angrier and angrier. In all honesty, I was very uncomfortable being in my own house while the install was going on. I was a bit disappointed in the cleanup of the job. I ended up having to cleanup inside the window tracks and windowsills on the inside and brush off the sills on the outside. I don't feel I should have had to do that. Before they left, I was handed a survey to review the entire process (salesperson, overall experience, install). I think that is a horrible practice that needs to be changed. I didn't want to sit there writing out a review on all of the above while the installer is waiting for me, and then hand it right back to him. What it did cause me to do is overstate my review because I'm not going to give the installers 2 stars and hand the paper back to the person I just reviewed.

I can't say I would recommend this company, but I feel the way customer service has been going, it's really a tossup on what you will get from any company.

P.S. I forgot to mention my plants. I have recently spent a lot of my own time and money on landscaping my backyard so this stuck out to me big time. I understand when installing windows it's difficult to pay attention to the foliage below your feet, but I think some attempt to not trample all over the plants would be very much appreciated. For example, when washing the windows, I think an effort can be made not to stand directly on top of a plant and twist your foot back and forth. I'm still hoping I do not loose a couple of plants due to the trauma they endured.

We purchased a 4' x 6' window and a 12' x 8' dual sliding door system from the Phoenix group of AVW. Both of these jobs required a subcontractor to come in and build a bulkhead to support the openings. The first bulkhead and window install went OK. The siding that was removed was not matched well and is clearly visible but its an old house and I do not expect perfection. The large 12' wide by 8' high opening was another story. This was a major job and the contractor did a fine job except the wall was not closed up or sealed properly. Scheduling was contacting us constantly before delivery but did not hear a peep after the order was placed. We had to call each time work was scheduled to get an update. The subcontractors did not know what they were responsible for until they showed up. I had to call AVW a couple times to get them to advise the subcontractors of their responsibility. The door was delivered without a plan to actually get it to the install location. I helped the large crew lift the door over a wall in order to take possession of it. The installer did not know how the door was to be installed and there was no documentation provided. A call was needed to get an installer on site to go over the installation requirements. AVW did not actually have anything to do with the actual install. Both of the screens were damaged and needed to be replaced. There was no follow up inspection to ensure all was completed correctly. We had only paid half of the $6K bill so we decided to wait to see how long it would take to hear from AVW. It took several weeks before we were contacted to pay. We brought up the screens and they were repaired. I had no idea that the wall was still essentially open along the seams of the siding. We had our first rain and water poured into the wall, filled the space above the door frame and drained through the door locking hole into my home. Water was also bubbling the paint along the top of the door. I took a video of the whole thing to show AVW of they care to see it. There is no contact form on this vendors website for support only sales. This says a lot about the amount of followup with they have with their customers and what their main drive is. I have sent in a request for contact using their sales method and will follow up with a call Monday. It is possible to make a mistake and recover so i will update this after I find out how well they recover from their mistake.

AVW responded quickly to my post. They sent out the sub contractor that installed the door originally. He saw the issue with the siding that caused the issue. During the initial installation the structure had to be supported by nailing through the siding. When  these supports were removed nail holes were left and the original fasteners had come loose leaving a crack along the seams of 3 pieces of siding. The complexity of the project made it possible for the final caulking to be missed. The siding has been sealed and re-nailed so that no water can get into the wall. The subcontractor has redeemed 3 of the stars for AVW. If the Phoenix branch would have followed up with me following the job this issue would have been avoided and 5 stars given. As it stands the 5th star cannot be awarded because the customer has to be more involved in the process than they should for a turnkey solution. Thank you for the rapid response and recovery. Recovery is as important if not more important to me than the mistake as we all make them.

I cannot remember the last time I made such a significant purchase without having zero buyers remorse.  From the original sales interview to installation, absolutely no problems.  The installers were extremely professional and clean on a daily basis - I walked around my home on the final day after removal of old and installation of 19 windows only to recall that I was barefooted and not one shard of glass to be found anywhere!  Looking back at the windows put in is as beautiful and comforting as looking out through them.  I would highly recommend American Vision and their staff to anyone entertaining window or door replacement

I've been slowly fixing up my house and decided to add windows in the mix recenly.  I didn't think the windows would make that big of a difference but I'm happy with them.  The install was great and everything was done on time.  The attention to detail was great and the guys cleaned up nicely.

I met with Jerry over a year ago to start the whole installation process.  At the same time I also met with representatives from 3 other companies but was convinced that American Vision was the only way to go.  Starting with Jerry, the salesman, the employees I have dealt with have gone out of their way to make my installation as painless and perfect as possible.  I ordered windows in 3 different phases, and all installations have gone smoothly.  I need to send a special thank you to Eric and Shawn who are the best installers one could ask for.  They are a joy to have in your home, and they don't leave until they make sure the installation is perfect.  Then, of course, there is Elias who has bent over backwards to make sure I have always gotten the best price possible.  He is delightful to deal with and makes you feel as if he is your friend rather than someone trying to sell you windows.  My windows not only meet my expectations, they go way beyond what I expected the final product to look like.  They fit beautifully and open with ease.  I actually spend time just staring at them and appreciating what a positive difference they have made.  I cannot imagine ever using anyone else for windows or window coverings.  American Vision is the best, and why would I want to settle for anything less?  If anyone should like to contact me if they are still not sure who to go with, the office has my contact information, and I would be happy to share my experience.  Keep up the good work!

What a difference a window makes!  And the way I was treated the entire process, and I admit I can be very picky with my home remodeling.  They explained and demonstrated why their products are superior and I am very pleased with my entire house window makeover.  Elias (owner/sales rep) came out and treated me with respect through out my every questioning and came back after the installation to see the little touch ups I needed done.  They are really super customer oriented and I am so happy to see my windows when I pull up to my house.  Wow!! And the difference in coolness and the sound barrier has made a big difference.  I don't hear all the noise as much from outside, the windows are triple paned and block the heat much longer.  So happy with my new windows and the price was cheaper than HD and Empire with better quality windows!!

i have had people come to my house and have been disappointed everytime.  shane came to my house and got into a big conversation with my wife. i just sat there  watching. she picked out a door and i just said order it. because as usual i would be disappointed with the work and have to get new doors again soon. oh this is the second set of doors in three years. so we waited and i got a call from george gregg that they were having issues getting the door knobs and he was going to be a little late. my grumpy self said yea whats new. so i left home. the wife was now in control. so out the door i made the all my complaints because i was sure everything would go wrong. well george gregg and josh blackwater got to the house and the wife called me. first thought already what now. she tells me the guy cut a piece of the wood so i can run to home depot and get paint to match. my reaction was wow you dont trust anybody at the house alone. hmmmm. so thats it i get no more phone calls the rest of the day. as soon as i pull up to the house the wife runs out and starts showing me everything. and she shows me that the handles hit in a certain position and gregg told her if i didnt like it he would come back and do what it takes to fix it. again hmmm. so i check out the doors and i am thinking wow there awesome but dont say anything yet. she takes me to the back door (the reason i replaced the last doors) and it is perfect. no light coming in around the doors no dust flying in the house. hmmm again i tell myself quiet something is going to be wrong. well then my wife starts to tell me how professionally gregg and josh were during the whole job and i checked everything out. that is how you do work in someones house. that is what quality looks like. to say the least i dont get impressed and this company impressed so much. i received so much more than i expected. the door locks that made them late well not only did i get new door locks on the two doors i bought they put door locks  on the screen door. and woooooowwwwwww i only need one key they all match i had no idea that was even possible.  and the little problem gregg showed my wife no problem just lift the handle easy. i am so impressed with this company i would recommend everyone use them. and i would ask for gregg and josh because i can tell you they know what they are doing. and they take massive pride in the quality of there work.  great job american vision  windows let me pay the doors off and well have to get together to put some shutters on my windows.

american vision windows. they don't care customer and I had a similar situation. installers left trash in my house and  also the customer service girl knew nothing of what I asked.

I bought an older block home a few years ago and have been upgrading just about everything...this year I turned my attention to the crappy windows in the house...some of them were the originals dating back 40 years.....I have talked to a few window people before and it's as bad as buying a mattress....lots of mumbo jumbo and confusion....My parents used AVW in Los Angeles when they remodeled their place...my Dad was happy with them in SoCal so I called the local AVW...Arlene one of the owners came out and gave me a bid....the bid made sense and was within my budget so I really didn't shop them against the competition...Arlene took the time to explain the difference in the windows they offer and helped to keep the costs down....I had a huge picture window on the front of the house which needed to be tempered due to its height relative to the ground....when she originally priced it the tempering was going to be $764 - Arlene suggested we do a split window...doing it this way we only had to temper the first 24 inches which meets code and the window looks great...that saved about $600..I really appreciated that .....so I sign the contract and this is where we had a few minor bumps in the road.....they explained the process.....a down payment then a critical measure...additional payment...buyer calls when windows are ordered...when they're in they schedule the install with final payment due....all that was fine but the communication during the early stages could have been better....at the end of the day I am very happy with the windows....they look amazing....totally changed the curb appeal of my house....looking forward to seeing the savings on my APS bill....the staff is friendly and courteous...the installer Brad did a great job and they did a good job on the demo and clean up....I would recommend them if you are looking to do a few windows or the entire house...

finally, american vision has completed replacing all the windows that they previously had installed back in july. they just could not get it right. but finally the new windows are in and we are happy that it is finally over with. they made it right. would i go back through this company???NO.  but i am sure they are happy about that!!! the installers this time were just perfect and did a fantastic job. this is how it should have been the first time but mishaps happen in businesses. well thanks american vision for making it right. YOU KEPT YOUR WORD.
