Great service.   Came and repaired our dishwasher quickly.   Very much appreciate the fast seducer.

Our kitchen faucet started with a drip which over time stopped working altogether. We had no water coming out of the faucet. We sent out a Yelp request pretty late on Sunday night, and got a response from Andrew within minutes. He came over the next day, checked the problem and told us we need a new faucet and gave us a quote for the job. He came the next day and got the new faucet installed with no hassle. Will definitely call them for any future plumbing issues.

I needed two new deadbolts installed on two different doors. Got a same day appointment too. Chuck arrived and was very professional and friendly. He did a great job and even read the directions to ensure an accurate one. I will certainly call him again when I have small projects that need to be done.

I asked SM to help me replace a light fixture. Their team arrived on time and they were able to rapidly install the light fixture for me. It works like a charm and I'm happy I hired SM!

I wanted to wait until our permit was approved before leaving a review and it happened today.

I met Bellows through the Costco Services program when I requested a quote to replace our 30+ year old furnace and to add a/c.  Carl came around about two weeks later and spent a good amount of time looking over our house and then explaining our options.  I felt he was very knowledgeable and trusted his suggestions.  Normally, I always get at least three quotes, but by the end of his presentation, I was comfortable enough to sign the agreement.  Due to their backlog, I was warned that our installation wouldn't happen for another six weeks, but we were okay with that.
 
About a week after the consultation, Russell, the project manager, came to our house to check out the logistics as we were moving the furnace from a closet to the attic.  He answered all of my husband's questions to the point that my husband also felt Bellows knew what they were talking about.
 
When the installation date arrived, a team of four worked three and a half days to complete the work.  Each day, they arrived promptly and left the house super clean at the end of the day.  Bellows arranged for another company to do the HERS test which is required for the permit and we passed with no issues.

Today, the city inspector came and Bellows sent a technician to answer any questions he may have and our permit was approved!

Bellows has been very responsive and supportive every step of the way and now that we've used both our new furnace and a/c without issues, we can vouch for their knowledge and skills.

I have already recommended Bellows to two friends and would not hesitate recommending them to you!

This is a long overdue review for Norm with San Mateo Handyman.

First off, I admittedly hate hiring service people. I've had horrible experiences in past years--being stood up, showing up on the wrong day and/or time, shoddy work, rudeness, unreasonable charges, you name it.

So I was initially skeptical about all the glowing reviews I read on Nextdoor and on Yelp about San Mateo Handyman, and more specifically, about Norm with San Mateo Handyman.

But too many things we're starting to fall apart with the house. So I caved and gave Norm a call a few months ago to replace the two old bathroom faucet/fixtures in our master bath and our kitchen faucet--and, boy am I glad I did!

From beginning to end, Norm was pure pleasure to work with. He was responsive (he returned all my calls and texts promptly); showed up on time; was efficient, knowledgeable, honest, tidy, more than fair; and he does excellent work. He's also a delight to talk with and get to know.

In short, Norm is the best. I feel fortunate for having found a handyman now that I can trust to not only get the job done well, but to get it done in a way that's a great experience from start to finish. I seriously am looking forward to having Norm work on other home projects to come!

I was very impressed with the service I got from Stan, Nick, and Tony who installed my new furnace and centralized AC. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and explained each stage of the process thoroughly. These guys work really hard every day they were here. They are very knowledgable and took care of everything we needed during the installation. All was at a very reasonable price. This company will go very very far. I highly recommend them to install AC, furnace, and all appliance repairs. I trust this company more than any other because of the price transparency.

Nick did an awesome job setting up a custom shelf for my window AC. I had an AC, an AC bracket, and an unusual window, and none of these were compatible with each other, so I was stuck. I was also getting tired of suffering through heat waves with the windows shut (bad AQI) when I had an AC right. there. taking up space in my living room.

Nick enthusiastically worked with me to come up with a custom solution from start to finish, and clearly relished the challenge. He texted with me the night before to learn what model AC and AC bracket I had. He promised he wouldn't charge me if he came by and couldn't solve my problem, which I appreciated, although I would've paid him anyway for his time.

Nick communicated clearly with me about his arrival times, and wore a mask at all times inside the house. He identified rotting wood in the window frame, thought ahead about how to take the AC down in the winter, made sure to check up on the AC's water collection and drainage, and measured and built the custom AC shelf quickly, precisely, and sturdily. He also sought my opinion at every step and gave me informed choices.

The whole experience working with Nick was a lot of fun for a nerd like me, and I'm also thrilled to be enjoying cool, dehumidified air at home now. Given his professionalism, reasonable rates, quality work, and preparedness, I'm not surprised he's plenty busy. I will definitely hire him again if there's something I need fixing around the house.

Chris R. with Divine Electric called ahead of time to announce his impending arrival, 3 hours earlier than the scheduled appointment to repair the circuit not supplying our oven.  He tested two General shedders that prevent ovens from initially being included when our generator kicks in.  Only one was not sending current to our oven, but when testing the other one for the tenant's oven he discovered it was faulty as well.  He ordered the new parts and got both ovens back online with a work-around-solution before he left.
I'm more technical and able to understand much more than the average homeowner, and Chris was patient, understanding, and not the least bit defensive or arrogant about my telling him what I thought was wrong, but totally out of my ability to correct it myself.  He also solved a problem I was having with my junior accessory dwelling unit that added another two 20 amp circuits to add to the one 20 amp circuit that my tenant was overloading by repurposing a 240 volt line for a sauna that was disconnected years ago.

Chris R is extremely professional, friendly and has lots of integrity to do a great jog.  Divine Electric replaced my 1950 circuit breakers, installed a 22kwatt generator that automatically turns on with electrical outages, the natural gas pipeline to the generator and a Zombie Box to keep it quiet.
My neighbors on 4 sides plug in when there's a blackout.  Who wants to hear even a quiet generator when you can't enjoy the benefit of it!
I've sent my friends to Divine Electric for a generator, and they've all reported great and professional service.

Ryan provided great customer service was was super quick to get the job done. His responsiveness and communication was over the top. I would definitely use his services again.

Max came out to our house on short notice, was very nice and thoroughly went through our a/c system to find out what was wrong. He did not rush the diagnostic,  presented a few options to fix our issues and told us he'd be providing different estimates depending on our budget and what route we want to take. We appreciated him taking his time to do a thorough check and giving honest answers to our questions. The fee for the check was also reasonable. Thank you Max.

I woke up this morning and found out that the outlets in our kitchen were not working.  I checked the house circuit breaker and I being elderly and non-electrician with poor eyesight didn't notice that the circuit breaker switch for the kitchen outlets, the washer, and the dryer tripped and were OFF.  I thought they were ON.

I called up PCHS and a technician came to our house to do diagnostics.  He asked where the circuit breaker was and I brought him to the garage where the circuit breaker was.  How I laughed at myself when he opened it and just switched back the switches to ON.

For all his travel, time, and effort in switching ON the switches in the circuit breaker, I was charged $393.75!  A valuable lesson for me!

Installed a 14-50 outlet in the garage. Jose was responsive and price was half the other estimates from other contractors. They even accommodated to my request of installing a Ring floodlights for a small additional fee. I would work with them again and recommend to everyone as well.

Yevgeny was my hero of the day. We lost electricity to about 2/3rds of our house on the Sunday morning of a long weekend. He had me text him some photos to see if he could troubleshoot it over the phone, and then when it was clear that a professional was required, he came to our home. Great communicator, a great electrician, very warm and friendly, and he fixed our problem in a hour. He also offered some good tips and comments for some safety upgrades, but did not try to up-sell us at all. So  helpful. Reasonable rates, especially for a weekend emergency call. A real mensch.

They had a great attitude, identified the problem quickly, and fixed the issue for a reasonable price. They also quickly responded and set up a fast appointment. I will definitely use them again.

Mike was a lifesaver during the time we were selling our house in Santa Cruz. He did a sewer lateral inspection for us, came out promptly to do a water certification, then again came out short notice to re-inspect the sewer lateral after hydrojetting was done by another company. His competence and intelligence were obvious, and he was wonderful to work with.
