Best Lighting Installation in San Jose CA

A little background... My house was built in the early 60's and only had two prong/duplex outlets. When I first bought the house 11 years ago, I had an electrician come out and install grounded outlets in each bedroom and the living room.  I put off 'rewiring' the house because I knew it would be a large job and expensive.  Then I started having issues with two outdoor outlets that were installed by a contractor and a landscaper.

I talked to two other companies before I found Matt and Voltz Electric.  Matt was very patient on the phone as I described the issues I was having and what I wanted to have done.  Matt was able to quickly schedule an appointment.  Mike and Cristian came out and immediately took care of the critical/hazardous issues and found that the existing outlets had a ground wire that hadn't been connected for whatever reason.  This meant that there was no need to install new grounded outlets!  The previous electrician could have just replaced the duplex outlet and used the existing ground wire!

Mike provided recommendations and an estimate on the rest of the work to be done.  Matt was able to schedule the remainder of the work very quickly.  They sent SIX electricians who went through every single outlet, switch and ceiling fixture to inspect and replace the outdated connections as needed.  They even replaced some outdoor lights that I had purchased while inspecting.  They covered inside, outside and the garage, all in one day.  They were honest, professional, respected the property and cleaned up after themselves.  

After the work was done, I had a minor issue with the lights in one room that had been remodeled not too long ago.  I sent Matt an email and he called first thing the next morning and had guys out within an hour.  It turned out to be a worn out switch that was installed during the remodel.  They replaced the switch and all was well.  

I am so happy to have found my go to electrical company!

We called these guys to fix some of the issues highlighted by our home inspector before we moved in to our new home. I sent them pics and notes from the inspector beforehand to get a quote. They gave me a per hour quote without mentioning that it was per person per hour and sent 2 guys who hardly did anything for 2.5 hours (oh btw they also rounded up the time they spent). They tried everything but fixed nothing! Right now, none of the bedroom lights turn on by flicking a switch. They just came, meddled and told us it can't be fixed. The only value they added was tell us why grounding outlets can't be done. They changed a few bulbs which we could have done by ourselves. For all this they sent 2 guys and only one of them was really doing anything at any given point of time. The other was merely watching but charged us for their time.

Very dishonest company! I am giving them the second star only because scheduling process was easy and the guys were not rude or anything.

Minh and his guys helped us with the installation of 3 chandeliers, and 3 Wi-Fi compatible fans with lights. Communicating with him was easy as he is very responsive. He is punctual, knowledgeable, honest, and thorough. He installed our chandelier before COVID, and even then he made sure to use fabric coverings for the floor for the work space and for where they would walk inside our house. We also appreciated the use of shoe coverings and a mini vac they use for clean-up after. When we had them come back and install the fans post COVID, Minh and his guys made sure to wear masks. They work quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with the work we've had done by Minh and his guys and are looking forward to hiring them again for some projects in the near future! Best electrician in San Jose! Hands down! Julio, Mauricio and all the crew are professional, honest, quick and so knowledgeable! They took care of my residential needs including my laundry room, entry hall, hallway lighting and even did the electrical outlet in our garage for our electric car. I don't normally write reviews but I had an outdoor electrical outlet problem.  I called Duke & he told me what to do to fix it over the phone.  This saved me an in person $150 service call charge.  Thank you for your help Duke!!!

I had 3 CFL kitchen lights converted to LED lights.  Doug did such an outstanding job.  I did a Request for Quote via Yelp, and the experience could not have gone any smoother -- received a reasonable quote from Henry and set up an appointment.  Doug arrived as scheduled; he was knowledgable, friendly, and took about 2 hours to complete the job.  My wife is so happy with our new kitchen lighting.  So long 3-tube 4-pin CFL lights!  Hello easy-to-maintain and brighter LED lights!

Another great experience with Adary Electric.  Nadav came out late in the day to get our lights working after a weekend of my husband's diy!  Got everything working in less than an hour and gave me advice on replacing an outside fixture.  Very friendly, efficient, competent and inexpensive.  I would never call another electrician.

We just recently replaced 2 ACs and Heaters in the house. In addition, outdoor ACs units required relocation to a different side of the house.
