East Valley Septic really helped me out of a mess !!!!  My septic had backed up on a Sunday. I called other companies and was told the earliest would be Wednesday. Not acceptable. I called EVS and explained my situation Kelly took it to heart and told me he would try his best to get to me by the afternoon. He was good to his word and kept in touch with me all morning as to when he would arrive. He arrived when he said and went right to work on my issue. He also taught me important things about my system that I didn't know !!!
The service was outstanding and Kelly was so knowledgeable and professional I knew that I would use no one else !!!

Ducks is a very professional organization. From the owner to the office down to the techs in the field. There are no perfect companies especially with the variety of individuals working. Ducks impressed me when I expressed a concern about an item that I thought should have taken care of. I spoke to the owner and he had the situation corrected within 24 hours. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I am trying to give a company a 5star review even though I have never used them - how can that be?
I have not actually used  A-Z but would have liked to, after having spoken to the friendly and very helpful owner when I called to book an appointment. Unfortunately, it turned out that I was outside of their service area, but after I was made aware of tha,t the person gave me advice on what were fair prices and what to look out for when contracting with competitors in my area. I had called them because  of the great reviews and must state that these great reviews were definitely justified!
I finished up by calling a more local firm and the person who answered the call was kind of zombie like if you know what I mean, and it was obvious they were just there to take bookings. A computerized program could have done just as well or better. Not having much choice in the matter I made an appointment. On the positive side, they did turn up on the day, but did not call me 30 minutes before as requested to tell me they were running late.  Their operator was almost hostile and very abrasive and told me told me he was following procedure when I asked him a question, and that questions would delay things and cost me more money - nice! I presume they did what they were supposed to do, but I don't know enough about septic tanks to evaluate that.  What I do know is that next time I need septic services I will Z call  A-Z and offer to pay an excess milage charge if they would come out here.
Rather than give the firm I finished up with a 1 star I would rather give  a-Z a 5 star based on their attitude and helpfullness even after they knew I would not be able to use their services.

Our septic tank decided it was full in the middle of night. I called left a message they got back to me in the morning. Said they were on there way to a job but would be here in the afternoon. True to there word. We were back working, they are very polite and clean up afterwards. I would use them again. Never had a septic system before (city girl). Now will be on a maintenance program every three to five years. They also showed me how the system works.

Family owned business. Needed septic pumped and inspected. Showed up on time.  Did what they were scheduled to do!  Experienced, efficient (and didn't leave my property messed up !)   The quick turnaround for paperwork (the ADEQ report) and billing was great !!

I had my older septic system inspected by a different company. They messed up the inspection report, first saying I needed a complete new system, then said I needed a new rear baffle. Waited almost two weeks for an appt with them, they had to find a crew that would actually go into the tank for repairs. I called several times and they said they'd call me back that day.  After the run around and waiting for what I thought was a dangerous repair, I called Sewer Time and spoke to I believe, John. Within the first two minutes of speaking with him, he put me at ease, his knowledge of systems and explaining no one has to go into the tank and no, I do not need a new system and his crew could come out and look the next day.
I called the first company to cancel any further search for a crew, they sent a proposal and said oops, we have you scheduled for the next week. John sent a proposal which was below the first company and for better work.
Sewer Time came out the next day, prepared to work. looked at my system, found an access door where the repair needed to be done, fixed the issue and upgraded my lids/risers all the while,  explaining to me what was going on.
Excellent work and communication by the crew. The only minor issue I had is that when digging with the excavator they hit a waterline, fixed one part of it, discovered after they left that there was another part broke.  plus they did not spread out the dirt left from digging.  Those are not big issues.
I highly recommend this company for their communication, letting you know upfront every step of the way, the pricing is great and work wonderful.  Wish I found them first instead of going with a bigger, well known name company.

My story may sound familiar. Cave Creek has had its share of construction cowboys and my house and septic were no exception. My builder put in a proper tank but took every shortcut possible and the icing on the poo cake was the inspection port into the second chamber was knocked over when it was buried and just covered up. For 27 years, this chamber was exposed to falling dirt into the chamber.

I was required to have a septic inspection and since I had no idea what was at issue but after a quick call to Black Mountain Septic, Jake arrived on short notice. The precision bucket digs to skirt around existing irrigation plumbing was a sight to see. In short order, I had a man trap installed and a compliant septic system access.

Our old air conditioning units were failing, ProSkill came out, and diagnosed the problem and cost to repair them.  They provided the work estimate and I asked them to price out replacing the units.  They worked up the options while the technician gave our unit what he needed to keep the units functioning for the few days until they could install new units.  The new units were very neatly installed and the technicians were very respectful of my house.  The pricing was competitive and the work done was expert.  I will always use ProSkill for any hvac work, I trust them and they always go out of the way to make sure the customer is satisfied.  Recently one of the new coils failed (manufacturer flaw), the owner came out to install the new coil on the same day!  True craftsmen who care about their customers.

We had a scenario with the septic backing up. Obviously, that's not a We can get you on the books in two weeks type of incident. I searched Yelp and called American (I figured anyone that uses a poop emoji for their business, must have a sense of humor, at least).

The woman who answered the phone was very polite and friendly. She said 'Wally' is the expert and asked him a few questions. Took down my information and said he would call back within a couple of hours to tell me when they could come out.  When no one called back by 5pm I emailed them just to make sure they had the right information.  Nothing.

24-hours later, still no call from 'Wally' or anyone else. Maybe the poop emoji was a sign they don't take their business seriously? I've lost a day addressing a serious problem and now we're headed into the weekend.
