Proskill is a full service air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, water heater and water treatment provider. We specialize in high quality service, products and installations for consumers that want the best at a fair and upfront price.

HISTORY

Established in 2009.
ProSkill Plumbing was started in 2008 by Tyler and Travis R., who grew up in a family full of tradesmen. After the new build sector started to slow down in 2005, we went to work in the service side of plumbing. After working for another company for several years, we decided it would be best to start our own company to fill in areas our competitors were lacking. There is no doubt we started our company in one of the worst economic times our country has ever seen. With that in mind, our business plan included reasonable pricing, fantastic service, and always following through on what we say. We personally believe if we provide these three key items to every customer, we will have a customer for life. You will never find any representative of ProSkill Plumbing selling a job or charging a service fee. We believe in upfront pricing, honesty, and professionalism.

Joe came out  and tried to help us find a leak from one of my mom's bathrooms. It has happened before and it was from the guest bathroom.

He looked behind the shower hardware and could see any leaks. Peaked in the attic to see if there was any plumbing pipes which there weren't. He couldn't find anything. My husband will have to make a hole in the wall and we can assess and then have them come back out to see what is hiding.

He was friendly, professional and wore booties taking them on and off as he came in and out. Will be calling them back once the hole is made. We need to take some extra mold protection during the process and make sure my mom isn't home.

After getting four estimates to obtain a two new HAVC systems I went with ProSkill.  Reasons:  Jason answered all questions and gave me a quote outlined with everything they would do. For my 2-Trane 15 sear units they were over $4000 below the highest bid. After checking with the ROC and several reviews I decided to go with them. Install date was set for the same week and work was to be done in one day (others wanted 2-2 1/2 days)

They showed up right on time with 5 vehicles and 6 technicians. Worked started right away with two techs unloading equipment, two working on the outside units and two working in the attic.  Everything was explained again to me.  Floor protectors were put down and closet draped to prevent damage from crawl space. Was told they would be done between 2:30 & 4:30. They didn't have to enlarge the crawl opening to they finished at 1;30. By the time they cleaned up everything with vacuum and broom, papers signed they were out before 2:30.  After they left I was sent photos of everything they had done.  Was MORE than pleased with their work and professionalism. Now I just hope this two new TRANE units last over 20 years like the old one's.

I don't know if it's the economy/inflation, but had a tune up done again this year and the guy that came out didn't have filters for the air handler.  Did it last year, and they brought new ones.  The excuse was that he didn't know which filters to bring , but considering they knew what to bring last year and the fact that I had purchased the system from them, it should be in the computer/notes of some sort.  No biggie, it was a last complimentary tune up, hence the 4 stars, but people should know ahead of time before booking a tune up.

We had Pro Skill install a 75 Gallon water heater and a Tankless water

After no call/no shows from both Howard Air and Parker & Sons we turned to Yelp for guidance.  ProSkill was highly rated, and were able to schedule an appointment within  the week.  Cody and Robert showed up within five minutes of the scheduled time, finished quickly, had some credible maintenance suggestions.  They also put on booties without being asked.  All and all, a very positive experience.

It was time for me to find an air conditioning company that was local, responsive and available. Proskill met all of my needs. I had a wiring issue when installing a Google Nest thermostat. Proskill quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in the attic. Proskill has good communication and appointment reminders. They aren't cheap, so educate yourself about their fee schedule , but I don't think they are overpriced. Will use again.

When it came time to finally (after 4 years) have a proper AC maintenance service done, there is no other company we would call but ProSkill. Why? Everything they've done (fixed a leaking faucet, expertly installed a new water heater, carefully flushing said water heater) has gone easily and very well, with the work holding up perfectly. A special shout-out to the office staff too. Their communication skills are exemplary. They put the service into customer service.

This time, we were lucky enough to get Karl Palmer, who turned out to be Mr. HVAC Extraordinaire. Some guys called in sick that day as well, so Karl volunteered to pick up all of those appts. On a Saturday. Wow.

From the moment he stepped out of his truck, he was friendly, personable, and professional. He went right to work (booties and mask on for the in-house part), starting with checking the AC filter, the vent temps, and then climbing up into the attic to test the air handler, drainage, etc., documenting everything with pics. He even took the time to cut in a special pipe to pour in the drainage pan test water, (which told me that the last company here never even tested the drainage, though they said they did).

Then it was on to inspecting, testing and cleaning the capacitor (outside unit). Karl is very systematic and logical about the protocols followed for doing the job right. You know everything is actually being checked. There is nothing sloppy or haphazard about his methods. The guy definitely knows his stuff and takes pride in his profession, including kindly educating customers (I tend to ask a lot of questions, which he patiently answered).

Everything was done in a little under 2 hours, and the system passed with flying colors. No one in AZ can afford to have their AC die, so it's important to have that peace of mind that it will be there for you. Because ProSkill and Karl were there for us, now I can be confident of there being no summer melt downs in the future. Thank you, and keep up the great work! :)

Repeated customer of Proskill last 8+ years, they have done every job we've request perfect! No issues, no matter who we speak too, or provides the repair service in need, all are courteous, professional, very knowledgeable. The response is so quick,  we had a leak in the wall behind our refrigerator, started last evening, we had to turned off main water to house, called this morning,  BAM! Cody F. from Proskill (plumbing) got the pipe fixed, and restored our weekend. Proskill is our team of professionals we call every time we need help, they always deliver. Chance promptly sent his top guy Eric C. to check out my system and advise on expanding my system to help with cooling and heating in an addition to our home.  Eric was awesome!  not only checked out the system and gave an honest estimate on the addition but discovered some issues and several problems with the existing system.  He was able to correct the issues and get our system running top notch.  
We will forever use Proskill for all of our HVAC needs.

In the last two years we've had ProSkill replace our HVAC system, water heater, add an electrical outlet and install a water bypass valve to isolate our irrigation drip system.  Today we had the water heater replaced by Decio.  He was on-time, honest and did a great job.

ProSkill just finished my attic insulation.  They were wonderful!  Eddy managed the project and saw to every detail from start to finish.  Greg and Nick kept gave me up to the minute info on their progress, showing me pictures as they went along.  They protected my house before they started and cleaned up every night, including vacuuming.  It only took less than an hour for my house to be toasty warm with no drafts.  They also sealed everything in the ceiling so my heat/AC won't be escaping to the attic.  I already feel like it was worth the money.  Job well done, ProSkill!

I contacted ProSkill Services regarding water leaking in the utility room from behind the wall. I met with Daniel McAninch and discussed the issue at hand with options available for me. Daniel was able to diagnose the problem quickly (I needed a cracked laundry box replaced - Project #112769392) and set the expectations, time frame and provided a competitive bid to order parts. Dispatch kept me informed as to his arrival both times which was helpful. With the project completed Daniel walked me through the process again. He made each of his cuts into the drywall as minimally invasive using straight lines so as to present as little work as possible for the contractor to patch the wall. I was impressed with his professionalism, his ability to solve the problem within a short period of time, his craftsmanship and his communication skills. Because of his listening skills he remembered an ongoing problem with a water softener drainpipe that I had expressed initially and without being asked took the time to extend the copper pipe an additional inch or so thereby eliminating any future concerns on my part.  I highly recommend ProSkill Services and want to thank Daniel McAninch for his impressive work ethic.

Had our air conditioning serviced . They were on time ; did a thorough inspection of our system. Recommend a few things that needed to be fixed . Did the repair . Leonardo was very nice , explained everything with pictures of before and after work was completed. Definitely would recommend them .

Our 1.7 year water heater stopped working.  This man knew exactly what to look for, as it was the breaker.  His diagnosis procedure was fast and efficient and fixed the problem within 30 minutes.  In today's time, it's very rare to experience a phenomenal company and service, and this company was professional, affordable, on time, and did a superior job.  We **HIGHLY** recommend this company and will use then in the future going forward.  Gabriel & Greg were incredible!  Thank you SO much for restoring our hot water on a Sunday.

Thrilled with the quick service and knowledge of the two plumbers this company provided me to solve a tricky issue of a bathtub clog on an older property. If you go to their website, schedule an appointment based on the date and time provided evidently that is only a request . At least that is what I was told by dispatch. I had a scheduled appointment for Wednesday between noon and 4pm, again this is based on what their website provided. Dispatch calls me and informed me the earliest is April 8th. Absolutely a bait and switch.

We decided to go with ProSkill for our AC replacement after receiving bids from several different local companies. Based on our interaction with ProSkill and their commitment to customer satisfaction, we decided to go with them for our 4 ton Trane XV18i unit. The installation went smoothly and they were able to complete all the work in one day and add the duct run that we requested. Over all, we are very satisfied with the work and the function of the unit. We'd be coming back for our AC needs.

I loved the man that installed our water softener and carbon filter.  Extremely knowledgeable and professional.  I only give them 4 stars is because it was a fortune and the credit service they use for financing are real a-holes.  $1895 for a customer supplied newer water softener, and a new carbon unit.  I would recommend this company just for the service of our professional.  Another gripe is that to do financing we were required to go through another company and they wouldn't work with us at.  They denied me and my husband credit because of activity on our cards.  Of course we are going to put everything on credit when we buy a new house.  An hour later and it put our service tech behind schedule and inconvenienced everyone involved. No, we were not able to get financing.  If you're in a bind this plumber will not help at all because of GreenSky. That's money back on our CC bill every month.  Our credit is perfect by the way, since we pay all CC each month.  GreenSky is the company that refused to take us for monthly payments. Screw them! ProSkill needs to ditch that credit company because it left a sour taste in my mouth.

I had the unfortunate luck of having both AC units break in the middle of Arizona heat wave above 110 degrees late Saturday night. I must've called around half dozen places on Sunday but they were all booked 3 days out. When I called Proskill Services, not only did they have opening, they said they will be over in 2 hours. The technician, Julio arrived half hour early too. Needless to say, I was very impressed already. Julio fixed one AC, but had to order a part for my second unit. He came the very next day and repaired the second unit. My AC is running smoothly now and it's much quieter too. Julio was very courteous, friendly and professional. Highly highly recommend Proskill Services.

After 3 attempts to validate the surprising amount of positive reviews, I am having a hard time even giving them a single star. If you have unlimited disposable income, and enjoy wasting money, call these guys. We haven't even seen any work they've completed recently, because their bids have been anywhere from 20% to 10x more than their competitors, not an exaggeration. They just tried charging us more to vacuum a coolant line on a mini split, than the unit is worth, brand new. This was the third and final strike against them on us. We will not consider them at all in future, as the company that used to operate successfully in this area under that name, apparently no longer exists. Do yourself a favor, if it's an AC issue, call Desert Chill, great quality work, fair prices, no shenanigans. If you have a plumbing problem, there are literally a dozen local options, that won't case your place upon arrival and adjust their price on the fly...

Called at 7:15, needing to replace my leaking water heater. Sam came by as scheduled at 10am that morning.
Within 3 hours, Sam had removed my old water heater, and installed the need one.
Very patient and helpful, ensuring I was familiar with what to expect, and how the water heater operated.
That evening, my wife expressed surprise at how quickly we get hot water at the kitchen sink.
Great experience, start to finish. Sam was sure I was aware of all the options, and there was no pressure to buy more than was necessary. I would highly recommend ProSkills, and Sam for your plumbing needs.

Proskill installed a new AC for us at our old house so when our new house needed a new HVAC system, we called them first.  After 3 estimates, they were not only the best price but the least amount of pressure also. We called ProSkill Services when our AC went out Friday night and another company failed  us miserably. Our neighbor had recommended them and a few people on Nextdoor did as well. They were very responsive and came right out the next morning. Found the problem. Let us know that we may still be under warranty to save a lot of money. Ordered the parts. Called and got us scheduled as soon as the parts were in which lucky for us  we only had to wait two days.  Eric was great. Very professional  cleaned up well. The communication with this company is great! They let us know by calling, texting, and emailing whee we were in the process.  We will call these guys again for sure , they did not disappoint.

Hired these guys to come do some plumbing and job was quick and decently priced. About a month later there was some leaking. Their master plumber Mike was there at 8 am next morning to address the issue. He was professional and friendly. Tyson came out today to do a  free safety inspection.
I have used Pro Skill for years for my heating and air. They are great, Never had a problem, so I though I'd give them a try in the area of plumbing.
I am a senior citizen, retired and have little knowledge re plumbing.
He was so kind and informative. I always ask questions. He showed me where my main shut off was, where the shut off is to the water heater,
discussed instant hot water and how it works, Most of all he discovered that my soft water tank was shut off.  A different  plumbing company was at my house a couple of months ago, servicing the soft water and osmosis. Apparently he shut off the softener and never turned it on.  
He found no other issues.
From now on,  Proskill will be my go to plumbers.

Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself). They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink. I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business.

Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating. We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience.

They are AWESOME! From scheduling to completing the work, everything was stress-free and efficient. My kitchen sink/countertop was leaking so decided to install new one. Leif came out to take a look and he inspected the leak and suggested the size of the sink that we should get. He explained every details thoroughly and was being honest with their cost and quality of service. After we decided to have the work done, they were able to schedule Leif to come out within few days. He came right on time, completed the job as scheduled and made sure all are good to go. Unfortunately, there was a little leak/drip so we called back and asked if he can come out. He came back the next day with his supervisor. They inspected everything again and did admit that there was some leaking. They spent good hour to repair and spent some more time to observe any issues. We are very happy with their work and service!
They are ON TIME. For the first appointment for estimate, they called me 2 hours before and asked if he can come by earlier and came within 20 minutes!
They'll get their work done as promised and will provide the quality of service they promised. They may not have the lowest cost, but with that service quality, I would be happy to paid that cost!

I am so impressed with the professionalism of this company. I could not be happier. I am a person that goes with my gut when it comes to decision's that need to be made. I am so happy I chose Proskill to install my new HVAC system. From the initial contact with Hector who came out and explained everything to me, the scheduling of the actual work, and Jose and Terrence who came out and did an amazing job. In 25 years we have had a lot of plumbers at our home,but never as efficient as Tyson. I didn't think he would have to get under the sink so I didn't remove anything. Tyson took everything out and replaced it exactly as it was. He also wore a mask,gloves and booties. This company is very efficient from the first contact to finish.

I was very pleased and impressed with my AC installation.  From the time of the quote, to completion of the job, it was a great and painless experience handled in the most professional manner.  

Hector came over to review my situation (16 year old unit that was on its last leg) and then quickly provided a quote.  From there, he coordinated the efforts of scheduling and explained the process.  We scheduled our install a few weeks out, and unfortunately it just happened to fall in mid-June with the major heat wave.  Despite the ridiculous heat, Jake and Ethan handled it like pros!  They worked so so hard and never once complained or looked defeated.  They even took the time to explain the new system and help set up the new thermostat.  I was very pleased with how courteous and professional they were, top notch.

Overall, I'm so happy I went with ProSkill.  There are tons of AC companies so choosing just one is a big choice.  But trust me, you won't be disappointed.  Thank you ProSkill!

After having another contractor take a motor out of our AC, tell us the motor would be difficult to find and cost $1500, and in general obscuring the true nature of the situation and trying to pressure me into installing an inefficient unit because that's all he could get for sure, I got tired of them when the lead contractor started calling me names. Huh? So I looked for other contractors. I climbed on the roof and looked at the AC to figure out what it was, you know, like the first guy should have, then went through the web site, made a call, helpful guy shows up. Analyzed electric bills and efficiency differences, discussed the contract parameters, and away we went. ProSkill installs a primo unit a couple days later.  It is a totally different house with the highest end unit of its kind. Don't settle for the single or two-stage units, look into the variable stuff.  You'll be glad you did. And yes, you should talk to more than one contractor, I recommend 4.  There is a pretty wide variance in capabilities out there.

ProSkill Services came today and installed my brand new Trane AC and Furnace.  I cannot say enough good things about this company and especially want to commend Kyle, Lorenzo, Chris and Michael for the great job.  Not only were they professional and courteous, but they demonstrated great customer service skills as well.  Did I mention that after interviewing three other companies, ProSkill's quote was $1000 less than the other companies.  Also, Kyle went above and beyond by painting the trap door to the ceiling in the garage after they were finished installing my new furnace which is located in the attic and tightened my attic ceiling lights.  I cannot say enough about these four gentlemen.

ProSkill services a/c technician, Pat Murphy, is super skilled and knowledgeable in the detailed work in hooking up my hood insert to the exhaust line. He moved the duct and secured the appliance so it will work for years to come. Pro skills was the only company in the area that could do this work and was done in an excellent way. Had a tankless water heater system along with new water softener and carbon filter system installed. Steven E and Caine were here all day and did an amazing job with the installation, programming, education and clean up! ProSkill came out yesterday, just for routine maintenance on our AC/Heater.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  Technician, Gaquar Moore, was right on time, sent text to let us know he was on his way, his picture was included so we would know him when he arrived.  He was friendly and courteous.  Even slipped on booties over his shoes to keep our floors clean.

I highly recommend ProSkill Services! They answered my call right away, were very friendly, and got an appointment scheduled within a few minutes. The technician arrived on time (within the first 15 minutes of my appointment window) and was incredibly friendly as well. He had my pipe repaired and the water turned back on way faster than I expected. The repair looks great and more importantly, works great. We've been dedicated customers of EZ-Flow for years.  Because they're based on Mesa, sometimes it's a few days before they can get out to my area (far north Phoenix) and that's fair.  

As ProSkill is Anthem-based and my neighbors on Next Door seem to love them, we decided to give them a shot.  

Our RO unit was broken and we had two leaks in two different bathrooms.  Our appointment was easy to schedule and our technician was very polite and courteous.  

He replaced the RO unit and it's functioning wonderfully now.  He replaced the innards of two separate toilets (ostensibly to fix the leaks?).  The next day, I noticed water all over the water closet again (which is why what prompted us to call them in the first place).  Upon closer examination, there was a rusted bolt at the bottom of the toilet that was the clear reason for the clear.  We called and the technician came out the same day.  Where things went wrong is when he tried to charge us $60 to fix the issue he was supposed to have the day prior.  

If he didn't fix the issue the day prior, that tells me the toilet innards were fine and probably didn't need replacing so we paid for something that didn't need doing.  And to try to charge us again for failing to do what should have been done the first time?  

Nope.  I'm going back to EZ-Flow.

UPDATE: The owner reached out and demonstrated stellar care and concern for our poor experience.  A portion of what we paid is being refunded and the amount of goodwill shown is enough to change my rating.  I am impressed with the swift action on the part of the owner and his dedication to righting a poor situation.  Thank you Tyler!

I am so conflicted with Proskill my wife had reached out to them multiple times and received the usual canned answers on questions to invoice and cost.  Only when a poor review was posted did the owner of the company get involved and took control of the situation actually writing me a personal note which I sincerely appreciate.

My confliction is that I wonder how many poor reviews are left and then the owner has to follow up and clean up the issues.  Are all these 5 star reviews really real?  

I do believe the owners the of this company went above and beyond in addressing my concerns.  Their follow up was impeccable and provided a solution to my concerns.  I personally just wish that this situation never had to get this far.

Extremely poor customer service and lack of professionalism, expensive, and incomplete work. If you do use them, make sure you get detailed write up of EXACTLY what they will deliver. Note, if you request diagnostics they charge $125 on ONE item. If you ask them to check an GFI outlet behind refrigerator, they'll open door of fridge and then apprentice will flip switch at control panel and then say all is ok.  They did not move a thing. If you ask them to check GFIs across home, they'll tell you homes built cheap in Phoenix and only need one GFI in entire home.

Manager called me after I complained and got same line of BS from him that his Technician with poor attitude had.

There's much better service providers across Phoenix and much cheaper. Don't waste your time on these guys.

Thanks to Yelp for locating such a great firm for me.  I contacted Proskill online about kinds of service that can be delivered and immediately was responded to and a call was set up.

ProSkill found a window that suited me, sent me a text confirmation.

On the afternoon of the day of the appointment I received a text with a photo and name of the plumber on route to me.

Gregg was great, he quickly checked out my water filtration & softener systems, educated me on them and attended to an outside leak that had pushed to contact a service. He had to source a part which meant a second trip but we worked with my schedule with texts and setting up a return visit,

Between the quick response from their online presence, easiness of making and appointments, great use of technology, excellent service and great reviews; ProSkill has become my new go to company for any plumbing and air related.

Additionally, they just added insulation as a new service, I'll be talking to them about scheduling a visit here soon.

I had the Company install a new A/C unit in my condo and from the outset, Craig Orr, the sales tech was there and assessed the needs. He determined, unlike the other companies who quoted, that there were problems with the existing duct work. He gave me a detailed proposal and the price was the best and included repairing the duct work -- He made sure the install was perfect, and in fact it was.  Tom and his 2 Technicians were great on the install-- professional, courteous and completed the job without a hitch. Their attention to customer satisfaction is stellar and they, as part of the install will come back in 3 weeks to make sure all is functioning as it should.  I have lived in AZ for 10 years and had a number of companies service my A/C but they are clearly heads above the competition-- totally recommend them

I'm an out of state landlord and needed help replacing a faulty valve under the kitchen sink. ProSkill Services was able to come out same day and replaced the valve with a higher quality, longer lasting dahl valve.

Their systems are dialed in. I received text confirmations for my appointment, they were able to accept credit card payment over the phone, and I received an invoice via email after the repair was complete.

This company really wants to take care of their customers.
They provide excellent and quick service.  We have used them before and always been extremely satisfied.  This time our toilet began seeping a bit of water at the bottom.  They came out and pulled the toilet and replaced the seal.  The only thing we did not like was that the technician did not replace the caps over the screws at the base of the toilet.  We did not realize it until he left. So, the next morning we called to let them know. They immediately got someone out that day to correct the issue.

Phenomenal!!!!! I don't have words for how fantastic this company and its employees are! We just purchased a whole new AC unit! From start to finish, they were amazing!

Tyler, comfort consultant, was/is awesome! He really took his time to go through all our concerns and answered all our questions. He took made sure our needs were met and that we were making the right choice in our purchase!

Kyle and Travis our install technicians were right on time, walked us through the process, and kept me informed during the whole instillation! They were very nice, easy to talk to and welcomed my questions when I had them. They cleaned up great and other than the house being cooler,  and a new unit outside, there is no trace that they were even here! Floors are clean and walls have no marks!

I work in customer service and when you do, you expect a level of service when dealing with products and services! These guys met and exceeded my expectations! They really are the best! Thank you ProSkill for hiring the best people and providing great products!

It was easy to schedule and they provided good communication throughout. Text alert when tech was on the way + email invoice and photos provided afterwards. The tech was on time, friendly and knowledgeable (Deon E).

The only downside is that it was a real bummer to pay an extra $125 for After Hours Fee, especially since the repair ended up being $500+ alone (3lbs of refrigerant + leak sealant). It seems like a fee like that should be waived at a certain price point and I would urge the owners to reconsider this policy. I scheduled on a Sunday at 7:30am for an 8-10 window and the tech was completely done by 10am, so I do understand if they feel the right to charge extra for that quick of a response time.

We have had Nick W., Craig, Greg all come to our new house for different things we needed fixed over the past few weeks. They were excellent, professional and SAFE in these COVID-19 times. I had looked into another well known HVAC company to have my whole house unit replaced.  But I had been using Proskill for my A/C and plumbing maintenance for years, so I decided to give them a look.  Turns out for the same price I got a much better system and peace of mind knowing the people I already have been using for years would be taking care of me for this as well.  They were efficient (in and out within 6 hours), they cleaned up after themselves very well, and they were polite and professional.

Proskill installed our new A/C Units last week and they were outstanding as they always are. We use them for everything HVAC and plumbing for good reason: there is not a company out there that is as skilled, efficient, extremely detail oriented, courteous and always goes the extra yard. We want to personally thank Daryl Johnson, Terrence Snapp, Alex Dillion and Tom Brown for the awesome job they did. Not only installing everything both inside and out, but also for the smaller things like automatically changing our air filters and getting us setup with the new smart thermostats they installed. I called ProSkill after finding out our water heater had corroded through the top of the tank. Within 45 minutes of my call, technician, Jeff, was at the house and ready to replace the unit.

Unfortunately, due to the abnormally-small space built for the water heater, he had to call for backup to assist in the removal of the old unit and install of the new one. The job only took them a couple of hours and they even connected a drain pipe to the drip pan to lead and water away from the drywall. Despite having to add a second technician, the original quote was honored without question and we had hot water again.

Overall, a 5-star experience from start to finish. I will be moving them atop my list of HVAC, plumbing, and water heater service companies! Thank you for the great experience!

In August 2020 ProSkill sent Tyler E. to give us a quote on a complete new A.C. and Heating system for our house in Surprise. Tyler was knowledgeable, gave us a couple of recommendations and answered all of my questions. We had other A.C. companies give us quotes also. All the companies were basically in the same ballpark with pricing. The big difference to me was that Tyler called me back and asked if he could answer any more questions that I had. None of the other companies called me, never heard back from any of them. We waited till November when Tyler requoted us a price. We signed the contract on November 19th and on November 23rd Dave and Hunter came out and installed the complete unit in less then a day. They did a great job, explained everything to us, answered all of our questions, and cleaned up after they were done. On December 9th David came out to re-inspect the complete unit and made sure everything was 100 percent. David also went over everything and made sure we were comfortable with everything. After a very hot summer I know all A.C. companies are very busy.  The main reason I chose ProSkill was because of a simple phone callback by Tyler. He followed the three most important rules in business, Customer Service, Customer Service, and Customer Service. Great job, Tyler and the whole ProSkill team.

Just had service done for toilet supply line. I scoured the internet as I am new to the area. And ProSkill kept coming up. I looked at many, but hard to find anything negative about this one. I see why! Was easy to make appointment, they came prepared with everything (even Covid precautions), my service tech knew his s*#+! Did the job quickly and precisely! Pricing was right on track (bounced it off a plumber friend what I should expect) - they were spot on! Gave some recommendations without being pushy, did a test for me on our water softener and water, stated the facts and such. No pressure to sign up today. Was really happy to see they also to HVAC & such too! I like having one place!! I am a loyal customer to companies who do it right. I have no need to shop around from now on! I have an amazing plumber in our primary home and now an amazing one at our new hideaway. The service tech was awesome! I hope he is the one who shows up every time! I'm sure they are all good, but sometimes you just get comfortable. He was professional, friendly and informative! Our old air conditioning units were failing, ProSkill came out, and diagnosed the problem and cost to repair them.  They provided the work estimate and I asked them to price out replacing the units.  They worked up the options while the technician gave our unit what he needed to keep the units functioning for the few days until they could install new units.  The new units were very neatly installed and the technicians were very respectful of my house.  The pricing was competitive and the work done was expert.  I will always use ProSkill for any hvac work, I trust them and they always go out of the way to make sure the customer is satisfied.  Recently one of the new coils failed (manufacturer flaw), the owner came out to install the new coil on the same day!  True craftsmen who care about their customers.

These guys are awesome! I called about some electrical to dos and they were able to get a tech out the next day. I was scheduled the day after that for the repairs after being happy with my quote. The tech that came out was fabulous! He was so friendly and never let his frustration show when dealing with a stubborn oven issue that took forever. He even showed up 4 hours early, but he did call first to ask if he could some early. I was happy about that. They were prompt and didn't upsell unneeded parts. We will use them at our new home. Pro Skill- Scott- came to home and did a lengthy review of our HVAC system and needs.   He came up with a plan and explained it, and then followed up with a quote for the work that was more detailed than any other bid I received.  I was given options as to SEER and quality ratings i wanted in selection of the units.    We decided to replace 2 electric cooling units and 2 gas furnace heating units.
The crew came to the house on time, were pleasant, task oriented and answered all our questions with patience.  They cleaned up the work site well.   2 weeks after the job, the quality control person -Keith- came out and spent almost 2 hours going over all the work that was done, adjusted one blower speed, and again, answered all our questions.   For a final wrap-up, Scott came out again, delivered paperwork that had been requested and the completed rebate forms for the energy savings allowed.   Im happy with the work, the price was competitive, and their concern about doing it right was evident.

One of the best customer service experiences I've had from beginning to end. Ever.  My water heater wasn't producing hot water so I did a quick google search and found these guys. I checked their website and they offered free diagnosis and no trip charge. Wow. I did a quick help search and saw stellar reviews so I called to schedule a visit. Jackie on the phone was awesome and scheduled a tech to be here within 2 hours!  Impressive. John H the technician was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. He's an excellent representative for your company.  Give him a raise!  He got my heater working super fast and I couldn't be happier.

I've only used them once, and that was due to my normal plumber being unavailable but my water heater blew and flooded my garage, and since it was 11 years old, it was time to get a new one.  As one of the few 5 star rated plumbers out there, I decided to give them a shot.  They set an appointment time for later that day but actually called to see if they could come even earlier as they were close by and the transition from their office to the field was smooth.  They had a new water heater and everything back up to normal in no time.  I'd definitely consider using them again (though I hope I don't have to anytime soon haha).

It doesn't surprise me that this company has a 5 star rating. I had Precision air and plumbing install 3 AC units for me last year. Over $15,000 spent with them. 1 year later my AC quits working. 90 degrees in the house on a friday afternoon. Called  Precision to get someone out to fix it. Monday of the next week was there response! Called ProSkill Services and spoke with a very friendly gal, who had a service tech at my door within the hour! Aiden arrived. What a professional, Intelligent and very friendly young man. Aiden explained everything to me and the entire bill was only $125.00. He had to replace a part, that they covered under warranty, and waived the trip charge! I was only charged labor. I have owned my own business for 25 years, and can't say enough about the professional way all of the staff treated me. Another happy service today.  We had ProSkill install our water heater last year and I was VERY pleased with the technician and his work.  Today I signed up for their AC maintenance plan.  Hunter was my technician and he was wonderful.  He was thorough and honest.  He did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff I did not need which other companies I have dealt with in the past have done.
Both visits the technician showed up on time.  Communication has been great from the start to finish.  
I do a lot of research before I chose a company to hire for anything.  I also chose companies that pay their employees hourly.  I have found that most companies in trades, such as AC/plumbing, pay their technicians commission for any service they can sell the homeowner.   I have always felt this compromises a company/technicians integrity.  
Proskills pays their employees hourly (not on commission).  It is such a different experience when you take commission out of the equation.  Both experiences with Proskills has been extremely positive.  I am so happy to have found them.  I plan to use them for all my plumbing and AC needs.  I also have referred them to family member who have been very happy.  
Their very detailed report they give you is also worth mentioning .  I was very impressed with my 11 page report, for my two ac units, which included pictures of all their readings.  This company is A+ in my book.

It's unfortunate I can't give less than 1 star. My elderly mother and I called out both an AC repair man and a water softener repair man to our home and 2 out of 2 tried to, for lack of better word, scam us out of (between the two services) $10,000 dollars which must say something for Proskills training/sales practices. The AC repair man said everything inside and outside needed to be replaced, although someone else from their company told us only the outside unit needed replacing. The water softener repair man didn't even touch our unit, assumed we couldn't get parts, and quoted $1,900 because he said we would just need a new unit and had too much water pressure. All in all, we got our ORIGINAL AC unit and water softener fixed for $625 instead of the $10,000 Proskills tried to hustle us out of!!! I would choose any other company, truly.

My two units are 18 years old and one of them wasn't working. Tyler came out in the morning to review my current setup and quote me on different Trane systems. I already had quotes from two different companies. ProSkill came in between the two quotes, but because both Tyler and the quote itself went into far greater detail on the work they would do and because of ProSkill's high reviews on Google and Yelp, I went with ProSkill. The only issue was I still had a broken unit and they were booked out three weeks before they could replace it. I had a quote of $850 from another company to repair it. ProSkill fixed it for essentially free. For $595 up front they did the repair, but then discounted the cost of the new systems by $595. Tyler does quotes and not repairs, so they needed someone else to come out. They were able to get someone out about four hours later and Louis did a fantastic job replacing the blower motor and capacitor to get the unit up and working. So ProSkill wasn't the best price, but I would say all around the best value.

I called them at nine in the morning needing a toilet snaked. They were able to come out at noon, which I really appreciated.

The plumber was polite and courteous. The snaking took less then ten minutes. I thought the price was high for the job and time it took. I did call a competitor for a price comparison and ProSkill was $15 cheaper.

The reason I deducted one star is because the plumber's shoes were filthy and he left dirty footprints from the door to the bathroom, he made three trips total, on my clean tile floor. Other plumbers I've used in the past have always wore booties when they came in the house. After he took off his gloves to do the electronic signatures his hands & nails were filthy too. I get that they do dirty work but it was gross to look at and I didn't appreciate him getting my floor dirty.

It was the hottest day of 2018 and our AC went out. I chose to call ProSkill after seeing many good online reviews. But after about a 3hr ordeal dealing with two untrained after-hours answering service operators I was having second thoughts.

I finally spoke to a knowledgeable operator who got our emergency A/C repair on track. And a manager even followed up after 11pm. He scheduled a repair the next day between 10a-noon.

The repairman was knowledgeable and he was all business. The A/C was up & running in about 20mins.

It was a bumpy ride at first. But once the ProSkill pros took over it was a good experience. The last operator I spoke to, the manager and repair man put me at ease. I recommend ProSkill.

Greg showed up earlier than expected (awesome) to address the septic smell we had emanating from the master bath shower. The septic was cleaned out a couple of weeks prior and the home had sat unoccupied for almost 9 months. The traps had all dried out. Greg took the time to educated us on the septic system and our water treatment system. TOO rich for my blood. 4 small repairs a shower valve a toilet valve and replace two outside faucets. 530 bucks ????? parts would have been 75 bucks tops from Home Depot a plumber could have done it all in 1.5 hrs. I've done these myself before in an afternoon. I think he wasn't really interested in doing it so they quote you through the roof to move on. I could fly my father in law the plumber in from Edmonton Alberta house him for a week then send him home for less.

Love, love, love this company! When we went to disconnect the washer and dryer for the moving company, we discovered that the valve for the cold water wasn't turning off. I emailed ProSkill at 8pm and had a (friendly, informational, knowledgable) plumber on-site 12 hours later! Does it get any easier than that?

I hear they don't travel south of Bell, but I'm hoping they'll consider modifying that to south of Cactus. I've used them multiple times and can't imagine I'd ever find another plumbing company as honest and friendly.

I have seen many contractors come and go......But upon calling ProSkill I knew it would be different. They set up a time that worked for my wife and I,then they got here on TIME! and not one guy...But 2 guys! And they were both professional. They both came to work. No playing, No talking about what they did last night, no shop talk. Just all business!!! Both worked NoN stop the whole time they were both here. We have a home warranty company that has done nothing but disappoint us. Proskill has stepped in time and time again to fix our air conditioning problems. We use proskill for our RO, plumbing and AC units.
After having to wait a couple days and suffer in the heat, the warranty company sent sub par contractors who in fact damaged our AC even further by installing impromper parts.
Proskill has been out several times in the last few weeks making up for other's mistakes. They have appointment availability on the same day and always show up as scheduled on time, unlike others who either came hours late or just plain didn't show up at all.
I can not say enough kind words about proskill, Travis, Gavin, Greg, and David S!!
Yes seriously, that many proskill techs have been to my home to rescue us. Each time the warranty company came out to fix the units, one of these guys had to come behind them and clean up the mess. Outstanding experience from start to finish. Scheduling was really easy and I appreciated the confirmation and reminder texts. On my scheduled day, I also received another text with the tech's name and picture prior to his arrival. Ryan even arrived 30 mins earlier than the estimated time frame. He was very professional, efficient and honest. I never felt like he was trying to up-sell me. In fact, he was quite honest as to whether something really needed to be repaired or replaced. Ryan also gave me various options and advice with another project. He laid out any concerns and even gave me time to research it further while he worked on something else. Overall, everything was completed in a timely and professional manner. I also found the fees to be very reasonable and competitive to other plumbing companies that I've dealt with in the past except these guys are more knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Last year the air conditioning stopped working and as it happens my wife was going for surgery on that day and to return the next day. I was in an emergency situation and my home warranty company was no help. I had seen all the great experiences others have had with the people at ProSkill so I called to see if they could help. They came out the same day and unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to resurrect air conditioner. Needed to get it replaced. Tyler came out to inspect my house to properly quote replacing system for me. At the time my emotions were everywhere but there as I was supposed to be at the hospital with my wife during surgery and stay overnight for recovery but knew when I was quoted price that I could not afford to purchase system at that time. Meanwhile Tyler has someone come out to put a temporary unit in to at least get house cooled down to make it able for whole family to stay in the house instead of with neighboring family and friends. After much budget crunching still had no way to afford to replace system. I informed Tyler of the situation and told him to remove temporary unit and I'd try to get home warranty company to help me which by the way didn't happen. Tyler's reply was keep temporary unit free of charge until you can afford to buy a new one and all he asked was that I at least give him a chance to price replacement again when ready. I've never been so blessed to find a company that will bend over backwards to try and earn your business. Needless to say I did shop price I was quoted originally and found it to be very reasonable. After all of this drama when I was able to purchase new system I only called ProSkill to just do the installation. The installation went smoothly and have had nothing but great service from the people at ProSkill. I highly recommend them for anything you may need done that they work with.

Have been using ProSkill for about two years now, and am always impressed by their courtesy, skill, and professionalism. The latest issue occurred when our A/C stopped working the evening before what was predicted to be a 109 degree day. The A/C unit was only 16 months old. The breaker hadn't shut off, so we couldn't figure out what happened. It was after hours, but the answering service got me in touch with a technician (Michael). We tried resetting the thermostat via over-the-phone directions, but with no luck. Instead of leaving us to sweat things out until the next day, Michael and Gavin came over that evening and were able to determine that the issue was caused by a faulty thermostat. They had a new thermostat with them and got the A/C up and running after installing the new thermostat. Awesome customer service is why we'll remain regular customers--thank you!

The two AC units on my home were 17 year old basic models installed by the builder and it was only a matter of time before one or both required major service.  Preferring to replace them on my schedule and not at a critical time in the heat of the summer, I invited four companies to provide bids.  While Proskill wasn't the cheapest, they were the most affordable for quality units from a major brand.  Brian K took a considerable amount of time to complete a load calculation, explained the available options and fielded numerous questions in person and afterward via email.  He was patient and immensely helpful in selecting the proper units and ensuring I made my decision with confidence.

Proskill arrived on-time for the installation and the four man crew had both units installed in about four hours.  Everyone was professional and friendly and the quality of the installation is outstanding.  I'm super impressed and can recommend them without reservation.  They're now my go to company for plumbing and AC services.

I had an issue with one the tech's that came out yesterday and I submitted a less than stellar review. I've used ProSkill for years to service my HVAC system. When it came time to replace it, I called them as they always do quality work. Tyler E. did the estimate.. he checked the configuration of the existing system, inspected the floor layout and venting. He then recommended the replacement system and explained why. He went through the estimate and rebates. The pricing was good and what I had expected it to cost. Scheduling installation was easy.  The installation crew (6 technician's-sorry I don't recall all 6 names, Carl, Dan, Cezar, Terrance) arrived on time. They began there work. Two were in the attic removing the old furnace, two were outside replacing the AC units and two were staging the new furnaces and removing the old. The teams worked effectively as a cohesive group. After installation they cleaned up the work area and you'd never know they were ever there if you hadn't seen them do the work... Everything was in order. They demonstrated the new system and answered any questions. I can't be more pleased with the work ProSkill has done. The technician's are true professionals. It easy to highly recommend their services. In addition to this review I called Tyler R. (One of the owners) and personally let him know how pleased I am with their service and the new units.

I had a reverse osmosis system placed under my kitchen sink several years ago by Proskill. I have had Proskill service it each time it needs a new filter. Each time someone comes to my home, they are professional courteous and knowledgeable. I love that they wear shoe cover ups when they come into the home. Recently, I had them out for a service call. The technician did a great job. He lived out the standards that Proskill has set. When he left, I noticed a small chip in one of my tiles. I contacted Proskill and a manager called me back the next morning. He was very kind, and thoroughly explained how nothing his technician does could cause a chip in the tile. He also explained how all of their tools have rubber endings so that they can't scratch the floor when they set them down. He told me that he went through the technicians tool bag to make sure all of his tools were in compliance. He also spoke with the technician and confirmed that Nothing was done during the service that could have caused the chip. I appreciate the thoroughness of him following up with me and with the technician and I am satisfied with the result. Epic customer service. I will be calling them again for my next service.

I can't speak more highly of the team at ProSkill....and I'm a very tough one to impress. I just completed the purchase of a new home which had a good deal of complicated air conditioning and plumbing issues to address before the close of escrow. The entire team at ProSkill from Garrett their General Manager to Albert their excellent air conditioning technician to Greg their senior plumbing technician, all provided extremely timely, accurate and very fair technical advice in their counsel of  me throughout the escrow process. Without ProSkill's persistent effort to diagnose an air conditioning problem, very expensive repairs would have needlessly taken place. They figured out the problem, sold everyone on it solutions, then fixed the problem which enable the closing of escrow. I cannot recommend them more to anyone whom might need a very customer centric plumbing and air conditioning contractor.

Our water heater decided to quit, and it never happens at a convenient time. After finding a hybrid water heater at Lowes, you'd think the install would be a breeze. Not so. The subcontractor they use (BSJ Plumbing - see separate review) is unreliable when it comes to communication and quick scheduling. Even the employees at Lowes say they have problems sometimes.
When I finally got ahold of the owner, he said he'd check on an install time and call me back. Well guess what? I'm still waiting for the callback.
I drove to Lowes, loaded the water heater in my vehicle, got the extra parts and came home - now on day 5 with no hot water. I did a Yelp search for a plumber in my area, and Proskill was the first that came up with amazing reviews. It was a Saturday AM, so I wasn't confident it was going to be easy. I left a message and unfortunately, had to move on to the next call. That person said they could install.
No sooner did I hang up, than Garrett from ProSkill called. I told him he was my first choice, but because it had been days with no hot water, I needed to find someone ASAP. He totally understood. Asked me some questions to make sure I had the right material and told me that if something should happen with the other company, to call him (even Saturday evening) and he'd see what he could do?
So here's a guy who's not even going to be getting paid, making sure I have what I need with the right info, etc., and offering to come help anyway, if I need it.
Subsequently, I've stored Proskill's number in my phone and it will be the first one I call when I need something in the future. TREMENDOUS customer service.

Got their number from a formal tenant.  The water heater on one of my rentals broke down.  Another plumber company (Freddie's Plumbing) came out, did some repairs and really F it up.  When a new tenant move in, the gas company put a red tag on it and told us not to use it. Of the 10+ years of having rentals, never has the gas company put a do not use red tag on a rental.  

Anyhow, Tyler with Proskill came and give me their $600 50 gallon special.  Out the door with additional connections was like $701.  Tyler is fast and reasonable priced.    Other plumber may give you good price but you may find that the work is questionable.  I found out the hard way.

I was kind a surprise that Proskill has no reviews.  I guess customers want to keep quiet when they find a good plumber.  LOL.

I didn't want to leave a negative review but I still can't get over my explanation why I was being overcharged. Also, I want people to know how ProSkill does business.
So my renter's told me their thermostat stopped working. I called ProSkill because I heard good things about them. I typically perform repairs on my rental myself as I am a contractor but I was out of town. My renter told me ProSkill was at my house in less than 10 minutes and had the thermostat replaced within 10 minutes (as I would expect). Unfortunately, it wasn't a programmable thermostat as that was what I had in the house. I had the renter send me a picture of the thermostat and I could tell it was a $19 Honeywell. The tech called me when he left the house and said it will be $139. Now this may not sound expensive to you but when you have rental house's, every dollar in maintenance and repairs add up. Let's break down that $139 for 10 minutes of work. The thermostat is $19 from home depot, which ProSkill probably gets them for $15. That leaves $124 in 10 minutes of labor from the technician. At this point I wasn't too upset about the charge but my renter was unhappy with the non programmable thermostat. I personally prefer non programmable thermostats but I'll do most anything that's easy to keep my renter's happy. So I called the manager or owner of ProSkill to explain why I wasn't too excited about the excessive charge for a cheap thermostat. After about 30 minutes of arguing it finally came out that his excessive charge for a cheap thermostat was because he's in the business of making money. As soon as I heard that, I was done. I don't know about you, but I think a company like ProSkill should be in the business of making the customer happy... the money part comes later.
Needless to say I had ProSkill go back to the house and remove their thermostat.
I ended up installing the Nest a couple weeks later and we're pretty happy with it.
If you choose ProSkill, get an estimate and remember, he's in the business to make money. Who knows, maybe the owner was just having a bad day or just didn't like me questioning his cheap thermostat and his $750/hr rates...

ProSkill rocks!!  First and foremost, they were on-time this morning. For me, that is very important.  Second, Joe introduced himself at the door and was ready to work. There was no waiting for Joe to get his stuff around and work. Joe came in and had our issue fixed within minutes.  Thank you Joe and ProSkill !!!!!!!!!

We have used Pro-Skill plumbing over the years.  Abby and Tyler are neighbors of ours and have always been helpful on the neighborhood Facebook page helping out neighbors and what not.  We had to have our kitchen faucet changed out the other day and our technician Israel was very friendly.  He offered to put the booties showing respect for our home.  He was on time and did a nice job installing our faucet and cleaning up after himself.  The job took about 2 hours and they charged about $125.00 which I thought was pretty fair.   I would definitely recommend Proskill.  We had also had them  install a GE water softener that we had already purchased from Home Depot in our rental property.  The technician Matt that did the install was trying to sell us their water softener and was a little pushy and I had to tell him no three or four times.  We had already purchased and had the GE water softener delivered from Home Depot and didn't want to return it.  The GE unit was also an all-in-one unit which saves a little space over the softerner with the separate brine tank.  Matt did a good job of promoting his product, describing its features, and was very professional though.  The funny thing was though the GE softener ended up being damaged and I probably would have been better off going with his unit.  After it was installed I ended up having to call a GE service technician to come out and do a repair on the softener.

Outstanding customer service!!  I needed to have my HVAC unit serviced and looked at (evaluated) as it is approx 11-12 yrs old.  I found this company on Yelp and because of the great reviews called to schedule an appointment. The lady who answered was very courteous and professional and was able to schedule a same-day appointment. Albert was the technician and his level of customer service was one of the best I have ever experienced!  He was on time and clearly explained the results of the inspection. I would recommend this company to anyone!  Hands down one of the best companies I have worked with!!

These guys are great!  ProSkill always provides exceptional service at my place of business and at my home.  Last night at our home all the showers/tubs, toilets and sinks were not draining and backing up.  I called Tyler and within 30 minutes Travis stopped by my house dressed in a suit and on his way home from bible study, to help me find the clean outs in front of the house to provide a temporary fix until today when they could replace the valve.  Just an honest and upstanding business.  I could have called another company to come take care of the issue last night, but I don't really trust anyone else.  Thank you ProSkill for being an honest company with friendly, hard working staff!!

I came across Pro Skill Plumbing during a random search online for an affordable 40 gallon water heater.  I was already armed with quotes as high as $1400 (water heater only) to midrange $999 (heater and installation) to bargain $700 (heater and installation).  Price was not my only consideration since I work until 5pm everyday and live alone, so I needed a company that could work with my schedule.  Pro Skill blew all of them out of the water with a quote of $650 for a 50-gallon water heater installed this past Saturday morning.  Juan arrived on time and installed my water heater with courtesy and professionalism.  This family-owned company will be at the top of my list for any future plumbing needs.

Don't buy the local family man business they peddle on their website.  I used ProSkill to fix an AC problem during the summer.  When their technician arrived, I was given an excessively large estimate to fix the problem.  When I pressed the technician for an explanation of the problem, I was told I could take it or leave it'.  After a testy exchange, I decided to get a second estimate and found that it was 1/3 the cost of the ProSkill estimate to repair.  

What was worst of all is that the 2nd AC technician advised me that a prior AC technician had deliberately sabotaged my AC coil by cracking it in multiple places with a tool.  When I complained to the owners, they expressed concern, examined my AC unit to confirm the vandalism, but offered no reimbursement as I couldn't prove it was their technician who damaged it (who else?).  

Find yourself another AC company to use!  Any if you need a plumbing repair, I strongly recommend finding a competent plumber on Craigslist who will charge you a fraction of what ProSkill will charge you.

The best customer service experiences I've ever had with a Plumbing/Heating/AC Company have been with Pro Skill. This morning I had my annual AC Tuneup.  The tech arrived right on time, was prompt, very informative every step of the way.  He even took pictures of a situation in the attic to show me exactly what he was talking about.  He made sure to show me digital reads, and to explain how the replaced parts work, showing me the bad parts, and making sure I understood (to the best of my capability) how the system works.  Albert was my technician.  He should be commended for being so thorough and a great employee.  Professional, yet personable as well.  Thanks Pro Skill - customer for life!

I woke up this morning to a funny noise coming from the garage. Not knowing what it was, I walked in to find water gushing everywhere from the water heater. I was able to turn off the main water value to stop the water but now I had to replace the unit. A neighbor gave me a recommendation of a plumber he used  and said he would do it for $850. I thought it sounded fair. We have the same heater. After looking online, I found ProSkill Plumbing advertising the same unit installed for $599. I figured there was a catch but they confirmed on the phone that I could get the same unit for $599. They also were able to come out same day and arrived right on time. Travis was very friendly and knowledgeable. He used an app on his phone to check if my unit was still under warranty but the 6 year warranty expired 2 months ago.
I hope you don't have to replace your water heater anytime soon but if it is over 6 to 8 years old, you might want to have them check it out or replace it. I would also suggest the tray under the unit. They run PVC pipe to control water run off in case of a leak. I was so happy, I actually started looking around the house for any plumbing projects that I might need.

We have used ProSkill for over the eight years that we have lived in Anthem for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs and have never been disappointed with their friendly and professional service. Today Tyler serviced our ro system and drained the water heater. Nothing tough at all but double checked all connections so all was well when he left. They are always on time and call ahead. ProSkill is awesome. The air conditioning died in the middle of a Friday night during very hot days & although they were swamped, came to fix it the very next morning - on a Saturday. They were knowledgeable, professional & genuine. Knowing how devistating having no a/c when it's 114 degrees, they made sure all was well with us. Highly recommended.

Our A/C went out when it was in the 100's, I called George Brazil to come out figuring they are larger and have less overhead. Their service was horrible, he kept telling me he had 5 more appts. that day and I needed to hurry and make some decisions on the new unit to purchase.... The service with them was sub par.

Proskill just happened to be tuning up my next door neighbors A/C on the same day and I went over to see if they could come look and give me a price for a new unit. My neighbor highly recommended them as he knew them personally. G.Brazil gave me a price for a 16 seer York for almost $10,000, the same seer unit except a Trane brand was thousands cheaper. Proskill came out the same day to look it all over and had it replaced within the next couple days. They did a beautiful job, they had to rebuild our attic access, it looks better than it did to start with, had to pour a larger slab and they went the extra mile on everything they touched. They kept my home super clean despite all the insulation up in the attic and the A/C is awesome!! These are my go-to guys from now on!! Highly recommended, so lucky I found them. :)

Called Proskill hoping for a water softener repair but unfortunately it was not repairable.  Chance and Harlin were extremely professional, respectful and courteous.  They explained everything including showing us what was wrong with our old unit.  We are more than comfortable referring them into your home as well.  I know that is who we will call when the next thing needs repair or replacement.

Our water heater died and was leaking water all over our box filled garage. We called in the morning and they gave us a window of arrival between 2-4pm. They arrived a few minutes past 2 and finished install and replacement under 3 hours. Service was great. My mother has used them many times in the past and had great experiences. Would recommend.

I hired these guys to replace my water heater.  The job was done by Travis, who was very polite and friendly.  The truck was clearly marked, it didn't take him much time, and he hauled away the old water heater with no problem.  I probably could have found a cheaper place if I shopped around a little more, but overall, I was very satisfied with ProSkill plumbing.

New to area.  Found their ad in 85086 magazine.  Picked them over other ads because it was family owned, in Anthem AZ, offered no service charge to diagnose the problem (that was huge to me), they will tell me what price is upfront (again-huge), etc.  I called them because AC unit wasn't working when I came home from work.  It was a Friday night.  The owner Tyler called me back within 30 minutes of my voicemail and scheduled an appointment for Saturday between 8-10am with Joseph.  Joseph arrived within that window.  Joseph was clean and respectful and put on foot booties when entering house.  Diagnosed problem and told me up front what charges would be.  Prices were fair.   Helped answer questions about being new to the area and helped me with questions about water softener and whole house filtration system.  This was NOTHING we have experienced before.  It was the FIRST time I have used a Heating/Cooling company in my life that I didn't feel violated!

We were planning on replacing our heat pump this year but a mid-summer air conditioning failure moved it up on our priority list.

As snowbirds we had anticipated waiting until we were in AZ for the winter but Tyler and Michael were so easy to deal with that we did most of the up-front work via e-mail and phone.  Tyler was very patient with my evolving requirements and never ending questions. The day came a week ago and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. Despite a few unforeseen challenges, including having to relocate the new water heater as it wouldn't fit in the original space,  the job was done professionally, on time, and on budget. We even had them replace our toilets with great new Toto units!

I would highly recommend than to anyone needing repair or replacement of plumbing or HVAC. Their work is great and their prices are reasonable.

I will never have to look for another plumber again! Proskill Plumbing is who I'm going with from now on. Travis came out, and skillfully fixed my problem. He did not try to upsell me, nor pressure me. Just did the job I called for and was done! What an experience! It's a surprise to have a service company that treats their customers like that, but Proskill does, so I would recommend them to any of my friends, family and neighbors.

Once again, ProSkill to the rescue!  My tenant had a problem with getting the hot water heater started after gas had been turned off.  Called Garret in the office, and he was able to call my tenant and tell him what needed to be done over the phone. Voila! Hot water! No scheduling a service call, which he could well have done- Immediate answers to my problem, simple instructions and free advice.  Though it may not always be as easy as this, I know that when I have a problem that does require a visit, I will experience honesty and integrity.  This business is my #1 go-to for all my plumbing needs.  I feel so fortunate to have found them!

Great company. Had both Travis and Tyler out for a few issues over the past few years. Replaced our sewer injector when that went bad. Also diagnosed a leaky roof (I thought it was a leaky AC unit), and helped out with various other leaks and such. They keep everything clean. Honest, prompt. There are so many basic things you want out of a company and these guys meet all of those and more.

I have tried several plumbers throughout the North Valley, and these guys are the only ones I will go with now. They are prompt, polite, good at what they do, and most of all HONEST and reasonably priced.  We recently had a leak in our kitchen sink and they came out to investigate and found that our garbage disposal had finally bitten the dust. Because we wanted to choose own new disposal instead of having what they had in the van, we declined to have him install a new one just yet but would call them to install it.  We bought the new disposal then called them back, but unfortunately they were super busy so I called another plumber to come do it. BIG mistake...the other guys showed up and wanted to charge me 3x what Pro Skill had quoted.  I sent them packing and called Pro Skill back. Luckily they had a cancellation, so were able to fit me in the same day.  Love these guys. They have my business for life.
