I had Clayton and Ben out to change a valve that had corroded and began leaking. I was worried it would eventually completely fail and flood the area around our water heater and furnace. I also needed an out-of-code saddle valve tapping a water line for an unused humidifier removed per our inspection.

They clearly explained how they were going to address both issues for me. Even with a trip to the store they were in and out within an hour and a half. The pricing seemed competitive with other quotes I received. If I have future plumbing issues, I'd call them again.

I would definitely call these guys again - they were prompt, knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly after we had water backup from the drain in our basement.  My only regret is that I agreed to pay for them to install a new water access point in front of my house based on their representation that my house didn't have one - and then days later realized there was already a front access point under the carpeting in the front of our house. Know where your access points are!

Very fast response time. They came out and immediately started diagnosing the issues. They told me what was wrong and fixed the problem in a timely fashion. Would Highly recommend and will use them again if we have the misfortune of plumbing issues in the future. Great company and very knowledgeable plumber that came out to service our house.

They were WONDERFUL! Super communicative over Yelp and the phone; fixed our kitchen sink drain VERY quickly after another company came and failed (and tried to get me to do all sorts of extra other work); were super neat, conscientious, and careful; and were lovely to work with. We're asking them to do other work for us, too. As they walked around looking at our house to help do the estimates, they advised us on different approaches to save money and for better effect. Really loved this company.

We bought a 112 year old three flat a year ago and of course have a lot of work to do on the building. Sims and Sons are my go-tos for anything electrical or plumbing related. Very responsive and the work is great and the price is right. Darrel is great to talk to and his electrician Christian and team (Cody, Graham, Dylan)  knocked my complicated project out of the park. His lead Plumber, Zeno is  is also fantastic  and helped me out with a burst pipe on a Friday evening in the dead of winter. His drywall guy Mario is a great person to work with.

Very easy to deal with.  I requested maintenance on my tankless water heater.  Transparent with the pricing.  Came out the next day and was on time.  Did the job and was seamless.  Showed me pictures of the before and after.  Have nothing bad to say.

Had a slow drain issue and Juan was the only person that got back to me in a timely manner. Showed me where my issue is and made recommendations to avoid this issue again. Definetly recommend and I will be contacting Juan again for any future plumbing issues. Very professional with his work and takes time to figure out the real issue. I can't thank him and his apprentice enough. They were very respectful of property and wore mask due to covid. Again I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed and you will learn a thing or two. Highly satisfied customer.

I had been calling a number of plumbers for an emergency repair, and Apex was the only one that even picked up the phone - even at places that advertised 24-hour service. I had a leak from a first-floor unit into the basement. Aidan came out in about 30 minutes and was able to find the problem in a galvanized, 90-year-old riser and replace it in about four hours. Because I had been calling plumbers since the night before, I was truly impressed with the service. Low key, nice, professional, everything you want in a plumber.

Erick and Manny came out to replace two outdoor faucets, add one new outdoor faucet, and rod our bathroom sink and bathtub. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. The price was reasonable, and they will be the first people I call the next time we need plumbing work on our house or rental units. They do great work.

After the drastic temperatures during the polar vortex, my pipes burst. I reached out to 15 plumbers and Bert was the quickest response and most professional. His quote felt genuine and he encouraged me to get a second opinion. He fixed the burst and made recommendations for preventative measures for the future. I would definitely use him again.

I won't comment on the cost as I think most places are at least somewhat over priced. I will say that the job was done expertly and in a timely fashion.

These guys are great, responsive, prompt, solid work.  Put in a back up sump pump for us.  Would recommend to others for sure.

Pretty terrible experience. I had a backup in my basement so I called Captain rooter out. After walking around they told me they recommended to hydrojet the line to clear it and then stick a camera in the pipes to see what was going on.

Quoted me $1300 because there was no cleanout (WRONG). I showed them the cleanout and now the price became $900. They took a look into the cleanout and dropped their flashlight which became stuck as well. Refused to get it out and never responded again.

We converted our 2 water heaters into a tankless water heater. We got 2 estimates and went with the slightly lower one. Arco came and did the work in less than a full day's shift. A few days later we noticed a lot of condensation in our 1 basement wall and called them stating there's something going on..
it also happened to be an extremely cold December night. They came out the next day to check out what was going on. Found out the problem was something completely unrelated with our furnace causing the problem. Long story short, they showed us the problem, did a quick temporary fix and told us who to contact for a long term solution. They honestly could have told us, not our problem, because it was something the previous owner messed up that we hadn't noticed yet since buying 2 years ago. Such excellent service and decent folk. Highly recommend

I had a clogged underground downspout drain in La Grange area.  Just noticed it during installation of new gutters, replacing probably 40 year old gutters.  Rooter showed up within an hour for a free estimate.  He got hands on and showed me how extremely jam packed it was with dirt and roots.  It had probably been that way for years and years.

He offered a few solutions and was honest about the probability of it being a total loss anyway after trying those solutions, needing to dig up and replace the pipe.  In the end, I think I'm going to avoid it altogether and go with a normal above ground downspout solution.  

Rooter has fast, reliable, honest service.  I'm going to call them again the next time I need a plumber.

Where quick, and found issues didn't know we had, the gentleman were knowledgeable and professional. Resolved issues quickly and cleanly. Would recommend!!

Walter saved my day. I had a pretty terrible bathtub clogging. I called around and everyone was booked. When I called Zuniga, Walter heard me out, explained that someone could come out later or the next day. I pleaded with him some, and he said to wait a few minutes and he would see what he could do. As promised, he called right back and told me that he could get a dude out in 3 hours. When I asked for sooner, he made it happen.

A guy named Manny showed up promptly, getting to my place before I did. He didn't seem annoyed that he had to wait a few minutes. He was quick and friendly and he completed the job. It seems to be working fine.

He only takes cash or check. I had neither, so Manny waited patiently while I loaded my 2-year-old and my old dog into the car and went to get cash. My invoice came back half of what another 5-star plumber in Yelp tried to charge.

Needless to say, I think I found a go-to company for my plumbing needs.
