Best A/C Repair in Charlotte NC

**  IMPORTANT UPDATE 1 & 2 at the bottom: Concerns were addressed and I'm now a happy customer giving the thumbs up  **

Pros:  
They answered the phone when I called and were at my house within a couple hours, which was great. The plumber who came out (Jason) was very friendly, fast, and skilled.  

Cons:  
Cost was quite a bit higher than I expected for a sprung leak under the kitchen sink. Cost was $363 and he was only here for 30 minutes (be sure to see my note related to time below).  Also, instead of repairing the existing line, he bypassed it and added another line and connected to another existing line, drilling a hole through the bottom of my sink cabinet floor. While this was another way to solve the problem, I would've appreciated if he would've discussed it with me before he did it, as we lost a little more floor space under the sink for storage. Not really that big of a deal, though. However, most disappointing (surprising), is he just left the existing broken line sticking out of the wall, such that the job looks unfinished-- when it would've taken him less than 5 minutes more to clip it and cap it flush with the wall, just to tidy things up.  I still gave them 3 stars, but feel a bit disappointed as I don't feel they really finished the job.

Lastly, would I recommend them or use them again?  While being fast, friendly, and skilled does go a long way with me, and should for you, too, I think that if you're going to charge rates on the higher end of the spectrum, then you also need to make sure you go the extra mile and provide a complete/solid customer experience. I also need a plumber to install a water softener, and was hoping these guys would be the right ones to do it, but am kind of on the fence if I should use Julian's Plumbing to do that or not.

UPDATE 1: Just got a call from Jason who already saw my review and said he wanted to address it - very cool!  He was very professional and courteous, and we discussed everything; he said it would be no problem for him to come back out next week to cut & cap off the old pipe to clean things up a bit.  I have to say, it was nice getting a call to say that he wanted to make me a fully satisfied customer.  I'll provide a 2nd update once the job is complete.

UPDATE 2: Turns out Jason was unexpectedly in my area (same day) and made the effort to drop by and did a great job tidying up the pipe -- looks great.  We are planning to connect again after Thanksgiving to discuss an estimate on connecting a water softener.
Just wanted everyone to have the complete picture here. Glad that Jason is a stand-up guy who cares enough to make the extra effort to make things right.

I can't say enough good things about All Hours Plumbing! They called me back on Christmas Eve at 3:00, had me send photos of our frozen tankless water heater, and walked me through how to resolve the issue. If we ever have any plumbing issue, they will be my first call. Great customer service!

They say that they are plumbers but they aren't.  A real plumber doesn't put shower fixtures on backwards and can install a hot water heater without having the city inspector fail it.

Our water heater died as we were both preparing to leave town in different directions. We scheduled an appointment for this morning shortly after my return.
Jason was very nice and polite, and had our new unit installed within two hours of his arrival. He moved everything that was in his way, and returned everything to its place. That may have been the smoothest hurdle we've had to jump over lately.

I called Carolina Plumbing Pros when the toilet backed up into the stall shower next to it. Stefan came out immediately to survey the situation, resolve the clog and then proceeded to investigate the cause of the problem. He was extremely patient with me, answered all of my questions, and spent plenty of time educating me about the major project that needed to be done outside of the house to fix the toilet. Within a very short amount of time, Randy came out, pipes were replaced and new grass seed was planted.  We also had a handful of other items that needed to be taken care of and again, everything was done timely and professionally. Both men were a pleasure to work with and have in the house... under circumstances that were not so pleasant! I would call them again for any plumbing needs and highly recommend them.

Nick is the best!! Came out, in between jobs, 45 minutes after I called and a local plumber bailed.
Helped my SO move the vanity and even gave us some nails to put the molding back.
Can not recommend this gentleman more. Seriously, we are moving to Cornelius in two weeks and he saved us not coming in to a master bath without plumbing. Will only recommend and use this guy going forward.

I just want to thank Service Pro for coming out and fixing my hot water today. I was 11 days without hot water trying to go through my warranty and the owners along with John who fixed my water heater saved the day! I highly recommend this company. I had an obvious underground water leak in the front of my property. The sidewalk, that divides the the grass along my front curb from the lawn on my property was showing (leaking) water. Angelo from Pure Flow Plumbing in Cover, SC immediately diagnosed the problem. He said it most likely was the main water line that feeds into the house and that a tree root probably damaged the line. He was right. Unfortunately this line was under the concrete sidewalk. Angelo did a great job cutting a narrow path through the concrete, locating the broken section of water line and replacing that section. He then repaired the side walk by poring concrete and smoothing it out. Had it not been for rain, he would have finished the entire job in one day. It was great having an obviously experienced, knowledgeable person who was able to do both repairs. As a bonus, Angelo was also prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Pure Flow!  (Al. Chad was great! It's so hard to find people who know what they're doing and who actually communicate. Chad was in touch regularly about our job. He showed up on time. Did excellent work. And was just generally a pleasure. There is a good reason he has Professional in the name of his business.

The plumbing install went great. We added a new water softener. However the installer added a four way plug to an outlet under our crawl. This outlet was connected to our condensate pump for hvac. It's been throwing a breaker daily for 2 weeks. They say they can at fox they aren't electricians. This situation was created by this very statement

Tired of crawling under my house to reset the breaker.

We had Mike Walker with Brian Long Plumbing to our home today. We had a leaking sink fixed and a new toilet and pedastal sink installed. The work, advice and professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend this company. It is nice to have someone so pleasant and who also really puts pride in his work at the same time.

My bathtub won't stop running water. Murad came on time and he fixed everything as desired. Now everything is working well. I would call him again if I encounter any issue in the future

We live in Charlotte, NC and our kitchen sink was leaking after our home remodel.  We called Precept Plumbing and Chris came to the rescue! We had other plumbers try to fix the problem but Chris was able to quickly diagnose the situation and resolve it in less than 45 minutes. We highly recommend Precept Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

Had a tub removed in my grandma's house she is 80 and has a hard time stepping over the tub they installed a walk in shower with grab bars for her safety they had the upmost compassion for my mom and remodeled her bathroom for her safety it took a huge worry off my mind i was so worried she would fall but thanks to abetterway for putting me at ease they also followed up a year later for a warranty issue that they took care of at no cost to me! Dustin the owner is a standup guy they have done a few jobs for my friends as well!

My girlfriend called these guys and the people are polite, capable and courteous, but their pricing for a simple sink drain cleanout is insane.  $89 for a trip charge (not credited into the job) + $473 to snake the drain for a pre tax total of $562; with tax a total of  $602.75. This job was less than an hour onsite.  
They claim upfront pricing, but do not give even rough pricing over the phone and will tell you that a knowledgable technician will call you and schedule an appointment.  The upfront pricing comes when they are on site and the clock is running with, in our case, an intimidated lady feeling trapped into the deal.
I have over 25 years in the construction industry as a licensed general contractor/remodeler/inspector and while I appreciate trade work and the cost to value as it relates to skill and overhead expense, there are some things that are way out of line. I would have done this myself, but my girlfriend was trying not to worry me with a simple problem leaving me to find out after the fact when I saw the invoice.

Once again these guys get the job done, but for a simple drain cleanout it would be in your best interest to shop elsewhere.

Wanted to sell me their product without even completing the project he was here for!   I really do not trust

Jim Dickerson is a helluva guy. I worked there for nearly four years, and was never asked to do anything illegal or unethical.  You get what you pay for, and the prices we charged were fair by market standards.  I left after a major contract cancelled, but would have stayed otherwise. I hope that the family has continued with his vision since he has stepped back in terms of management.

Becareful this company, they overcharge you and not handle business  professionally. I had sewer emergency on 6/1/22, they came and gave me estimate $12,000. They accepted cash for $9000 but I paid similar repair $4500 year ago. It only took a little more than half day and 2 people. $9000 is way overcharged. They gave me invoice but my insurance company asking for just part of the invoice for the excavation  the detection of the leak  and  the put back for the cement not the entire invoice. I requested it more than a month ago, my insurance company requested it through email and I called them 3 times. They still didn't generate the part invoice I need as today 8/2/22. This company is not professional handled and they will scam you if you let them.
