Very quick response on New Years Eve, took the technician about an hour or so to clear a main line clog. Would definitely use again.

I had a nightmare situation with a toilet overflowing and flooding the place with sewage, on a friday evening. Chris and his team showed up quickly that evening and came back the next day to continue working on the problem till it was resolved. I highly recommend their services.

I called Frank based on positive Yelp reviews, but had a completely different experience.  He is a nice guy, but I'm sorry to say he is not very competent.  He had difficulty figuring out which parts to use to replace part of a faucet, and I literally had to stand next to him, looking at parts and helping him in order to get the job done (and I am not particularly handy).  I don't like to give a negative review, but I could not recommend him to anyone seeking a competent plumber.

I called Charlie to fix my leaking backed up sink. He answered my call in a few hours and worked around my schedule to get me a day to fix the problem. He told me he would come between 830am and 930am. He arrived at 915am. He was polite and professional. He worked diligently to fix my kitchen sink. I was very happy with the work he did and his pricing was very reasonable compared to the other Dedham plumbers i contacted. I will defiantly be using his services again when needed.

Mike, has done a number of jobs for us over the last year. Excellent communication and top notch plumbing.  Highly recommended.

The company I work for has a commercial account with them, and I have not been thrilled.  It's not bad, but it's' like they aren't interested in servicing our account.  The people who come out are great, it's the office people that don't seem to prioritize us.  I know they do some large municipal stuff too, so maybe we are just too small to matter to them.  Overall, I can't really complain though.

Renato and his team were absolute life savers. We had a problem with a sewer odor, and couldn't locate the source. In 2 visits, Renato scoured the house, found the source (a vent line improperly terminated below the roof), and fixed it. He was able to get roofers to come same-day to complete the job. They had to move our washer/dryer, and cut holes in the wall, all of which they promptly and elegantly repaired post-job, same day. Team was respectful, meticulous, and highly communicative. Renato even took the time to explain the issue and its impacts to another unit in the building. Could not be happier - he gave us our home back.

We were having an issue with our new disposal & existing dishwasher.  Aiden was able to troubleshoot and resolve the issues in less than an hour.  He was courteous, professional & highly knowledgeable.  Would definitely call them again if needed.

Couldn't clear the clog in the main drain line and walked away from the problem. Told us we had to dig out the concrete. This was totally wrong. The cleanout was not buried in the concrete. I had to call another company who got the job done.

Van is the nicest guy, but clogged drains don't care, so he becomes an Alligator gobbling up the gook in your blocked pipes. He used to work for Roto-Rooter, so he's got mad skills, but imagine all the experience and the same equipment with a personal touch from a friend who genuinely cares about your sink backing up and grossing out your family. It all began when my regular plumber said he doesn't mess with clogs and referred me to a big-name franchised drainage cleaning company. They were too busy and I was too desperate. I had people coming over for the weekend and everything flushed was finding it's way into my basement bathtub. I tried the intriguingly named Alligators Rooter and Van came over early on Saturday morning. Not only did he root out the problem, but charged me the low end of his price range. You know when someone says it'll cost between this and that, he means THAT! But not Van. He's honest, amiable, and gets the job done! Root for Van, he's The MAN!

I called and specifically let them know that the water heater was 27 years old, within seconds of their arrival (which costed $80) I was informed that they will not touch a water heater this old.  They should have told me that on the phone.  They offered to sell me a new unit and inspect my plumbing for other work they could sell me.  No offer to wave the $80.  After a bad review the manager calls me to apologize, but no offer to refund the $80, though he offered to apply it to a new water heater.  I will not be using this company ever again as I was basically scammed out of $80.

100% recommend! Immediate response time, booked service for next day. Lowest price for new water heater. Couldn't have asked for more. Very nice and personable during service.

If I could give zero star I would.  This guy Anthony is a total prima donna and not an entirely truthful one at that.  Let me relate the story:

I've had an issue with my hot water pressure since moving into the new condo.  Last Friday I called to inquire whether they work on things like that (other than blocked drain as their name suggests).  He volunteered eagerly to come next day (Saturday).  I said there wouldn't be any extra charge would there?  He said well if I have to come in on a weekend yeah I would have to charge you extra.  I was like - um you are the one who wanted to come in over the weekend when there is really no emergency for me.

Long story short we eventually settled on Thursday.  Earlier today I texted him to ask for a specific time and to give my availability.  He said he's nearby and could come right now.  A few minutes later, he proceeded to call me to say my street was blocked.  I told him yes there has been roadwork for months, but that he could enter from the opposite end of the street EVEN THOUGH it was one way.  But he started acting up an said in annoyance: No your entire street is blocked up.  I'm not putting myself through this hassle.  You can call me when the street is ready.  I was like wait that is not true - I just looked down the other end of the street bordering Hampshire and it was completely open.  He impatiently said Ma'm, I don't think you understand.  I went around the whole block.  So I asked him which side was he trying to come in from, and he said Propsect street.  I was like well that is not the other end of the street, is it?  He muttered something about he doesn't care, he's not going through this hassle, but that he still wanted my business.  It's unbelievable how short he was with me, how untruthful he was about the road situation, and yet still wanted me to hold off and give the business to him.  I told him no I'm calling someone else instead.

After hanging up, just to make sure I wasn't mistaken, I went down the end of the street one more time and there you have it, the Hampshire end of the street is still wide open!!!  Thank God plumbers are one thing this town doesn't have a shortage of.

Had a main pipe in the basement that was clogged. We tried to snake ourselves but the issue was further into the pipe and our snake couldn't reach it. I called Matt the next day and he was able to come down 1 hour after the call. He is friendly and professional. His approach to tackling the problem was very professional, systematic, and clean. A lot of contractors can probably do the same thing but will also charge you more and make a mess. I was impressed with his attitude and his pricing was very fair as well. He doesn't exploit you. we need more guys like him not just as a drain guy but his work ethic and attitude. No problem recommending him to friends and family.

Fantastic service!  They went above and beyond to fix an issue I had installing a smart thermostat.  Rick was especially available, responsive and respectful.

This is the second time i have used Blue Bear for emergency plumbing issues.  And both times, with 2 different plumbers (Todd and Connor), they have risen far above expectations.  Jobs were done efficiently and completed successfully and they cleaned up before they left!  Both men went right to task, were knowledgeable and went the distance!  Owning an old house and being a single woman, i need the best plumbers possible and i think i have found them!

I can recommend wholeheartedly Boston Standard.  They arrived on time and did a thorough and professional job.   An estimate was prepared for us prior to the work being done and once Joe had completed everything,  he reviewed it all with us and answered all our questions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Joe and his staff all wear blue booties over their dirty shoes - an extra touch that makes such a difference, and we really appreciated that attention to detail.  This company is really a great find!

Crescent plumbing does reliable, quality work. The only issue (for which I take off a star) is that they are not cheap. They charged $200 to disconnect a gas range and to put a valve on the connector. It took them 30 minutes - kind of steep. On the other hand, they are upfront about approximate price, willing to give you ballpark pricing on the phone, do not nickel and dime, and do not try to scam you into unnecessary work. I use them for all emergencies.

Excellent work by Joel and Bobby. Replaced a new-ish hybrid electric water heater (GE--lasted 5.5 yrs :( ) and Joel did a great job explaining the traditional water heaters had all been upgraded and running as efficiently, if not better, than the hybrid machines. We did not want to put anymore money into the hybrid at this point.  We were sold on the service plan and warranties offered by Rodenhiser, so we would not run into a repeat problem as we did with the supposed advanced hybrid water heaters, which are impossible and expensive to maintenance. Rodeniser installed a Bradford White, regionally manufactured system and took every step to ensure the plumbing, electrical and safety features were properly outfitted. The technicians were very professional and finished the job faster than what we expected. We went ahead and purchased the Jade warranty plan to have Rodenhiser provide ongoing, annual service and guarantee the water heater for 10 yrs. We are very happy with our purchase.  We would definitely recommend Rodenhiser and will use them for other services in our home if needed.
