Best Sewer Line Repair in Boston MA
I can't say enough good words for Frank. I have a complicated toilet problem as a result of poor installation done by a very incompetent and dishonest plumber. I suffered through two expensive plumbing companies trying to fix it and nothing was fixed. Then I found Frank through Google review. He showed great competence and abundant experience, he avoided any unnecessary procedure proposed by prior plumbers, which are very expensive. He got it done in two hours. And the amount he charged is minimum for this project. I found a very minor issue second day, he arrived in twenty minutes, straight it out and didn't charge me anything for the second visit. Now my problem is fixed done and done. Frank is the best!

Mike Richard has done outstanding work at our home over the past 8 years. He works so efficiently he actually jogs to his truck and back to get any needed supplies. Mike is always timely and communicates about any issues that he finds, offering various solutions. Most recently, he put me in touch with other contractors that have also done superb work.

Came out within 24 hours, was professional, capable and pleasant!! I had multiple calls out to local plumbers with no response, so happy I found these guys

Very happy with these guys. The owner, Leo, was quick in getting back to me this fateful morning, when we found the basement flooded with raw sewage--on a Sunday, of course. Communication was excellent: he told me he'd have somebody to my house in 2-3 hours. When some other emergency called his technician away, Leo called back immediately to let me know but told me I'd be the next priority, and I was.
They're not the cheapest, but I decided to go with them because I was worried about the age of my sewer pipe (my house is over 100 years old), and Z Plumberz is one of the few companies that have the latest technology to deal with old, damaged pipes.
When looking for help, I had read a horror story told in a review on another local plumber who damaged a sewer pipe while snaking it. Their insurance company refused to pay. The bad plumber apparently hadn't used a camera to assess the condition of the pipe to ascertain whether it was already damaged. So sue me, he told the person, who had to spend $10K on repairs.
I shared my concerns about that with Leo at Z Plumberz, and he told me that they wouldn't snake without first using the camera to make sure the pipes were in good enough condition. What if they aren't? I asked him. He told me that his company has a way out of that problem: they use what's called trenchless sewer line repair, which is utterly awesome: it's a repair method that allows plumbers to repair your pipes underground, negating the need to dig out an entire trench. Absolutely do google that term - trenchless sewer pipe repair - if you have sewer pipe issues in an old house. Do be careful, though: one drain expert told us that a crooked plumber out of Saugus has been offering this type of service (it's pretty newfangled, and only about 3 plumbers in the area offer it, we were told) but was charging people the cost of photographing their pipes, claiming to show them images of clear pipes, but in actuality those were old photos of somebody else's pipes and hadn't done the work at all. He was convicted, we were told, but he's used 3 different business names, all based out of Saugus (sorry, legitimate Saugus plumbing/sewer pros!), so it wouldn't be surprising if he popped up again doing the same thing.
At any rate, my situation wasn't that dire. The problem wasn't with the pipe outside the house. Rather, My tenants or somebody else had flushed wipes - that horribly common cause of drain blockage. They got stuck in the drain trap, and the drain backed up. It was straightforward to fix, took an hour, and the cost was $290.
The technician who came - I think his name was Auden, perhaps - was equally professional as Leo, communicated really well, and was very informative. He did a lovely job cleaning up with his shop vac, though of course we had to get down there with a whole lot of bleach afterward, so that was our Sunday.
I'd highly recommend Z Plumberz. I would have also been happy with John's Sewer, I think. They sent somebody in a really timely manner to suss out the situation, and he was great. The only reason I chose Z Plumberz was because of their ability to do trenchless repair if needed: a technology that even the John's Sewer tech said was cutting edge and top-notch.

Boston Standard arrived on time in the window that was agreed , 10am -12pm after a quick introduction they went straight to work to diagnose a problem , I was having with my 30 year central ac unit . Boston Standard fix the problem and offered good advise in upgrading my old HVAC unit with no sales pitch or pressure of any kind. Before contacting them for service , I had called and left massages with numerous HVAC companies but Boston Standard was the only one that returned the call . I paid more than, I wanted too but the price was agreed upon any work started. Good work and customer service made up for the cost.
Thanks Boston Standard for fixing my Central AC

Very responsive, coming out in a couple days for some non-emergency work. Brandon and Louie were very professional, communicated the scope of work and cost, got their parts, and gott'er done!

Daniel was able to solve a plumbing problem I had that a previous plumber tried 3 times to solve but couldn't. He did a great job, was reasonably priced, always on time and cleaned up after finishing his work. I was so impressed I hired him for a second job on the spot. I would highly recommend Daniel for any plumbing issues you may have.

These guys are life-savers! I found Tony here on Yelp due to all the good reviews and gave him a call to fix our leaking water heater. He was able to (correctly) guess what the issue was just based on a picture I sent him. He was great with communiciating via text when he was coming and what he was going to do. Tony and his partner, Ralph, showed up on time and got right to the issue and fixed it in no time. They meant business but both have hilarious personalities and were great to talk to. They walked us through everything they were doing and I learned a thing or two. On top of all that, Tony's price for all the work he did over two days was more than fair. I definitely will be calling Tony soon if any other work needs to be done around the house!!

Thought I needed a plumber, turns out I needed a drainer. My plumber, Boston Standard, came out to look at a drain that takes rain water from my backyard under my building to the street out front (I'm in the South End): water was draining too slowly. Couldn't help me but recommended Boston Drain. They were able to come later that day and my drain was fixed in less than a half hour. Price was very reasonable. My guy Kyle knew what he was doing.

Absolutely SATISFIED with the exemplary service, repair and good old fashioned hard work performed by a team of professionals at a fair and competitive price. From the moment I met Kevin (owner who evaluated our sewer) we knew if this individual reflected the company ethic with non pushy honest and personable service this was the company we wanted. We had a back up in the house due to a house trap and a broken pipe. The team showed up on day one and we could not believe the care and SPEED and PROFESSIOALISM these individuals showed in performing an entire sewer pipe replacement. Kevin and his crew were meticulous in the removal of the old clay pipe and install of the new pipe. Speed, attention to detail and constant cleanup and care defined this team of individuals......... THANK YOU for the job you did. To the OWNER....Thank you for restoring our FAITH in good old fashioned American company values delivering a Great Service at a Competitive price...........You truly have a winning team and an AWESOME Company . Great Job!

Nick did some work in my apartment last year. He himself was great, responsive, nice, but some of his workers were not as good. They installed the rough plumbing in my shower incorrectly - while telling me they had no idea how to put it in, and me trying to insist that Nick come out and supervise - and I had to engage the tile person to come back, tear out the tile, and redo it. Nick is a nice and honest man, so he paid for the extra work - but the whole thing was pretty stressful, and I wouldn't feel comfortable calling them back unless Nick or some of his top workers were going to be on-site.

I would absolutely recommend Andy and Dello Russo Plumbing (Dellorusso plumbing.com) for your plumbing and heating needs.
Andy is extremely attentive, courteous, professional and skilled. He totally saved our vacation this year and following the COVID lock down of last year That was a godsend.
We were on vacation on the Cape Sunday night ,when we got the call that our daughter had no hot water...a google search brought us to Rich at Matthews and sons (Mathewsplumbing.com) who was fantastic and talked to me about the whole issue with my furnace...unfortunately he wasn't able at the moment to bail us out but said he had a guy (Andy) who he just spoke with and gave me his number. As I was calling this number Andy called me. He told me Rich had told him the situation and could be over in the morning. My wonderful wife said she would go home to meet him the next morning and let me spend the day with my daughters. Andy arrived when he said he would , checked our furnace and knew the issue in minutes. He discussed the repair with me via FaceTime and explained the price, that was quite reasonable considering we had no clue as to what to expect and we never had the furnace serviced in the 10 years we owned it. He actually called in an assistant so he could get the job done to allow my wife to back to our vacation.
Once again I would highly recommend Dello Russo plumbing & heating...Dellorusso plumbing.com

BEWARE! These guys will scam you. I am a property manager and use dozens of plumbers, electricians, contractors every year. There are many perfectly honest plumbers here on yelp. Called Drew because I was in a pinch and I had never used them before. He put me in touch with his clearly inexperienced son Matt. Explained to them both my heating system needed the transformer replaced and I already had a plumber look at it. Matt assured me that he would get my heating system running and was quick to fit me in his schedule the very next day. All seemed a little too good to be true and I found out that it actually was just after they arrived. They tinkered with my boiler for no more than 5 minutes checking to see if all the components worked and finally turned to the transformer after I asked if they were going to replace it. Dodged the question for a bit, took out some electrical circuit testers, almost electrocuted themselves, started a small fire, and concluded the transformer needed to be replaced (I had already told them it did many times!). They THEN informed me that they do not have a license to preform electrical work, cornered me in the basement and demanded that I pay their $185 service fee or they wouldn't leave. They generously offered me a discount to $125 and sent me a phony receipt that didn't even have the amount paid on it. I have seen this before. It is a very nasty way to scam grandmas and desperate people who need to get their heat working in the winter. DO NOT TRUST THEM. This is criminal, I almost called the police.

Can't say enough good things about I & C Mechanical! We had a bathroom leak that came out of the blue and caused us a major headache but these guys came to the rescue promptly and gave us the best quote out of all the places we called. They were professional, reliable and knowledgeable, which is a huge plus for us as we're new home owners! Highly recommended.

Service mgr Chris was very helpful and his service plumbing technician Ryan was excellent and professional on my hot water heaters.

I am completely satisfied with the quality of Rodenhiser's products, installation, and even more impressed by the excellence of its people.
In the spring of 2011 my wife and I decided to install central A/C. We shopped around, and invited 3 companies - including Rodenhiser - to bid on the work. Rick came out, did a thorough inspection, and made a recommendation to replace the outdated heating system, in addition to installing the A/C. (Note, the other two companies also proposed updating the heating system.)
Rodenhiser was not the cheapest, but they were the best. They gave us a full menu of options, the pluses and minuses of each, and the related pricing for each option. Their offer really allowed us to get what we needed, no more, no less.
When it came time for installation and subsequent maintenance, Ryan B. was our guy. He's awesome. First of all, he actually arrives within the timeframe agreed on, and he is an absolute professional - extremely polite, very competent, and a pleasure to work with.
There's a very good reason why Rodenhiser, a family company founded in 1928 is still around - they provide outstanding service and exceptional quality.

I should check yelp before calling them. Only Checked the google review and they got almost Five star. Do not know how they achieved that.
I came to this company by my landscaping contractor to install the backflow preventer since his plumber is out right now. Well, the guy came to our house for estimation and the lady answering phone calls seem to be good. But the quote is crazy, it is triple or even quraduple compared my other quotes to do the same job. I do not think they gave They also charge $50 just for the quote. I do not know how they get such good reviews on google. Do not waist your money and time on them.

I called for HVAC repair at the start of the cold weather and they said someone would be out later that day -- even giving me a time window in which to expect them. They then canceled last-minute during that window, leaving me without heat after I had already turned down other companies due to my exising appointment with them. The best they would offer as a rescheduled appointment was not for another month.
I took a chance on a company without any reviews and this is the result. Call them at your own risk.
