We sought out Nick and the Plumr team to help us out when our sump pump was on the fritz. Nick made time to come out basically immediately when I reached out for help, and had the work completed within a week. Super professional, friendly and helpful - grateful we found them!

Great work at reasonable rates by a really nice guy, Nick.   I'd recommend him 100%.

I called Nick when I had a leak that I feared was from a burst pipe.  Several other plumbers didn't return my call, or couldn't come out for at least a week.  Nick came out that day, found that the leak was actually my washing machine, and didn't charge me for his time.  I had him come back a few days later to move some pipes from an exterior wall to the interior, as well as some other jobs around the house.  He and his crew were professional and personable, and his prices were reasonable.  I will definitely call him for my future plumbing needs!

I can't speak highly enough of Nick. I called him about a disposal issue and not only did he respond promptly, he even offered to guide me through the process on the phone. When I couldn't find the right tools, he offered to come out the following day...but it gets better! I ended up finding the tools and he immediately called back to walk me through the steps on the phone. Easier, quicker, and kinder than any plumber I have ever worked with. I will definitely be calling him for all of my future plumbing needs.

Nick and his group came out on short notice to address our sewer main issue.  I loved the web interface for scheduling.  Most importantly though, Nick and his colleagues were very courteous, professional, and kept us very well informed as the project progressed.  I will definitely be contacting Nick first for our next plumbing project.

Hands down, Plumbr is awesome and Nick is your guy. I hired him to replace nearly all the cast iron pipes in my house and he and Marcelo did a fantastic job. I got several quotes and his was not only the best price, but I felt most comfortable with how thorough he was looking at everything in the house before his estimate. Other companies didn't look as thoroughly and one never even called me back.

He was flexible with scheduling and worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible despite a whole bunch of complications on my end that came up. I especially appreciated his communication--I've never had someone answer the phone or call me back so promptly about a job, ongoing questions I had, etc. I'm not kidding. He also teaches plumbing classes so he really knows his stuff. I'll be recommending him to all my friends who need plumbing work as someone who is knowledgeable, dependable, trustworthy and fair.

Asked for a quote, got one back same day. Scheduled a job and Nick was in and out in under an hour. Can't really hope for anything better. When the next issue arises, Plumr will be the first call I make.

Awesome team , I used Nick and his guys for a condo remodel I was general contractor on . Great response , always communicated well , went easy like a professional project should go. These guys were super!  Replaced outside facet I hit with a car in our driveway (must have been about 50 years old). They put a freeze proof handle with new adapter piece and copper pipes on inside!  And a new shutoff handle that is so easy to use!! They also replaced under a kitchen sink the copper that was very old and leaking enough to attract the critters.  We got new hot and cold shut offs which work perfectly!!  They also installed a bidet on a toilet replacing old single piece of metal connector with new flex hose!!   Would hire them again!

Nick and his team responded quickly to replace our old cast iron plumbing stack when it cracked unexpectedly. Professional, pleasant to work with, and solid work. Very glad we found this plumber.

I need to install a new water heater.  Plumr quote me a price that is in the same range as other place that I call.  So, I decided to use them.

On the day of installation, they come on time, finish their job on time.  The final price is only $20 more than what they estimate.

Overall, it is a good service.  Absolutely no hassle.  I will use them again.

Nick is great.  I wish more contractors were like him.  First he picks up his phone when you call.   He came to our house provided thorough estimates and helpful advice on other projects we were considering up front.  On the day we scheduled for the work, he called before arriving, arrived on time (early actually), worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up like they were never there.  They completed 3 jobs in under 2 hours at a fair price.   I wouldn't hesitate to call Nick for any plumbing projects down the road.

Nick at Plumr is easily the best plumber I've worked with. When I needed a shower faucet cartridge replaced, I contacted 10 different plumbers to get quotes.The job is fairly simple but I wanted a professional because the job was in an apartment building without a unit shut off.

Nick not only responded the quickest but he wanted to make sure that I got the best service for my money. When we discussed the job, he informed me that my faucet had a lifetime warranty and suggested that I get parts through the manufacturer for free rather than having him supply them. This saved me almost half the cost of the job.

On the day of the job, he was on site early. As he proceeded with the job, he found another issue with the faucet. Completing the the normal way job would have required coordination with the facilities manager which required 48 hrs advanced notice. At this point any other plumber would have charged me a trip fee for the visit and left. They would have come back another time when I could coordinate with the facilities manager to complete the job and charged me again. In contrast, Nick took the time to think of a creative solution. He finished the job completely and professionally that same day.

Nick saved the day for me and at the best price out of all the plumbers I contacted. I can't imagine another plumber that cares as much about providing great service to his customers. I have been recommending Plumr to all my associates. If you're looking for a plumber, Nick is your guy.

Nick installed a gas line for my stove in November 2018. You start the process by filling out an appointment request online, and they show up. Easy. After a downpayment, they pulled the permit and showed up on the scheduled day promptly. The process was quick and efficient and worth what he charged me. If I ever need plumbing work done again, I will undoubtedly see if Plumr is available and hire them.

I had a great experience with Nick and Plumr. He responded to my Yelp inquiry within just a few minutes and then talked to me on the phone to better understand my heating system issue - all on a severe weather (freezing cold stretch) weekend when the other plumbers couldn't be bothered to answer their phones or return calls. I booked my appointment online, received immediate text/email confirmation, and the Plumr team arrived on time as promised. Nick gave me an honest assessment of my situation, even though he could have suggested all types of repairs that may not have improved the performance of my heating system - ie, he put my interests before his own. I received a very modest bill via email, which I was able to pay online with a credit card. I will certainly use Plumr again and recommend you give them a shot.

Nick and the team were great! I was able to supply my own toe kick heater and they had no problems installing it for me! They also repiped my kitchen sink and did a 10000x better job than the previous home owner! I also like the online booking and payment options. I'd recommend them to others!

Plumr has helped us on two plumbing emergencies now. In both instances, Nick has been very easy to communicate and coordinate with. He is very responsive and is proactive about helping you determine root cause and if there are any DIY solutions, as to avoid incurring unnecessary expenses. It's a great way to do business. His teams have been professional, punctual, communicate well, do the job efficiently, and are looking to help you instead of sell you stuff you don't need. Pricing seems fair.

My toilet leaked. They said they could fix it. Came over promptly but I wasn't home so did t see myself,   They told me it was all set.  when I got home there was no leak. But the next morning the ticket did hit flush. I called them and they insisted it was a coincident and told me to use a plunger.  They had no interest in coming back to fix the new issue. The attitude was not my fault , now your problem.  Of course the plunger didn't work (did anyone think it would).  I had to call another plumber who laughed at the thought of a plunger solving the problem.  The  new plumber fixed it - very bad clog that required a snake. . Something might have been dropped in during the initial fix.  You take a risk with these Plummer's

I was very impressed with the responsiveness of this company. Even though I was outside of Nick's work area, he took the time to politely reply to my inquiry. I'm still waiting for 4 other companies to even call me back or answer my email. He would certainly have my business.

Booked an appointment for a free estimate. Called to confirm the day off and was told that he hadn't looked at his calendar and couldn't make it. Wasn't able to set up another appointment. Lots of bells and whistle but no follow through....

Sadly, my experience was not good.

I made an appointment online and spoke with the owner.  All seemed good.

I stayed home all day with my son for their 3/4 hour window, but they never showed.  Didn't call me back either until many hours later in the evening.

To their credit, the owner apologized and agreed to come back at a day/time of my choosing.

But if you leave a customer waiting for all day, and don't even call until many hours later, you certainly don't deserve my business.

We called Plumr after a particularly cold night where two pipes had burst in our house and we had no hot water as a result. Too busy, Plumr first came out to look at the situation, and then sent a third party independent plumber to do the repair. They were told from the start that we'd put in a very temporary, likely incorrect, fix to the burst pipe problem, and that this was the first place to look at when trying to resolve our no hot water issue. Instead of even looking there, they spent three trips to the house looking at the boiler, making 3 different unnecessary fixes that didn't solve our problem. On the fourth trip they finally took a look at the temporary fix, realized the problem, and fixed it in 15 minutes. They charged us $2,500 for all of the unnecessary work, and refused to consider even a compromise on the cost. Unfortunately, Plumr is very similar to many others in service industries today. Overpriced and unaccountable. Do not recommend.

Edit Reply: Sorry Nick, that's not true at all. You were the first on property, and when we discussed the issue with you, you said, Yeah, sorry, those are the breaks, essentially. You were the company we called, you were the one's on-site, you sent another plumber to do the job, and then you said you stood behind his work. Again, no accountability.

Nick is the best! Fast, reliable, affordable, and with great customer service. He installed a new water filter for our house, new toilet, ice-maker line, as well as upgraded our water pipes and installed new outdoor faucets. Nick also designed and installed a new sump pump and drainage system which has given us peace of mind and a dry basement! He also makes sure we are knowledgeable about the systems he is installing and patiently answers our questions. Best of all, he provides a thorough estimate prior to the start of every job and keeps the homeowner informed at every step of the job so there are no surprises. Definitely the only plumber we trust to work in our house! Highly recommend using his services.

If I'm ever asked, do you know a good plumber? My answer will be...I have a great one! I called Nick, last night and asked if he could quote me for replacing a garbage disposal and a time of when he could come install it. Instead of him providing me with that info, he asked me what was wrong with it. After I explained the problem, he then asked me if I had tools and some time for him to explain what I needed to do. I said yes, and he explain exactly what I needed to do to remedy the problem. I followed his instructions and problem fixed!

I had this same problem at my parents house and a different plumber charged my parents $1,000 to replace it, instead of what I was explained to do.

Plumr is the plumbing contact you need in your phone. When Nick first came to my house for a quote for a job he will be doing at my house, he was  on time, presentable and very knowledgeable!

It's not easy to find a good plumber and in the 10 years that I've had my house I've tried quite a few. Finally, I've found my go to plumbing service provider. I've had Plumr out to my place on 3 occasions and I've thrown an assortment of jobs at them, ranging from faucet installations to shower diverter/cartridge replacement to fixing outdoor hose faucets to replacing an exit pump system. I've been very happy with their work each time. I'm a detail guy too, so that's really saying something. Nick is responsive in getting back to inquiries and easy to set up appointments with. This is not typical! Their website has an easy tool for scheduling as well. Nick's team is awesome too. I'm especially impressed with Marcello, who aside from being a really nice guy, is a very skilled plumber and has a terrific work ethic. Also very patient in answering questions and even evaluated work for me that was out of scope and offered advice. In short, if you're in need of plumbing services, save yourself some hassle and call Plumr.

I had plumr come out to do some maintenance work. They were available the same day and communication was easy. I made a booking online.

The price was reasonable and in line with what other plumbers charged. I would hire them again!

1. A small company that has a functioning webpage allowed me to book a Monday install during the weekend.
2. The communication between me and the owner, Nick, was straightforward and pleasant. He knows user's needs, and is focusing on his business instead of selling random stuff. A good boss is the driving force of a professional team, and he must be the good boss.
3. The technician who came to help, Josh, installed our new hybrid water heater and found good solutions for my basement quickly. Also good communication with him. Josh is also aware of health code during COVID-19 and is wearing a mask all the time.

Quick reply and easy to schedule. Shower was leaking and they came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and charged a reasonable price. I plan on using Plumr for all future needs.

Nick came by right after I called and helped me figure out how to install a replacement part for my boiler. He was very personable and professional.  I will definitely go with Plumr from now on.

Short version: Nick and his crew are the best. I wish we could give Plumr 6 stars.

Last October, Nick helped us replace our water heater in our old Victorian and we were very pleased with his knowledge and his service. We knew we'd found our goto plumber. Then winter happened, with that prolonged cold snap, and we found ourselves with a burst water pipe. We called Nick and he came right away. After making sure that we would be ok with his capping the pipe (we were; it was a secondary water line), we made plans with Nick to complete the pipe repair/replacement when the warm weather returned. There was talk of possibly needing to rip out our garage ceiling (!), but Nick assured us that they would not do anything they didn't have to. He'd know more when he took a closer look.

Flash forward to today, when Nick and his crew came back and found that the damage wasn't nearly as bad as expected. They fixed everything for maybe 1/10th the cost of what we'd discussed. They could have told us we needed more expensive repairs, but instead kept their word and did an honest and excellent job. Besides this, over three separate occasions Nick and his crew have consistently performed exactly the work they've promised. They've also arrived on time, have always been accessible when we've called and have been friendly, polite and very easy to work with.

We'll never call another plumber if Nick and his crew are available.

Nick is a lifesaver. My main sewer drain was stuck and we could not use any water. Nick sent a team the same night. He came the next day to make sure everything is all set and to review the video from the cleaning. The other guys I had before I called Nick tried to convince me the pipe was broken and I need to dig my front yard. That turned out to be completely false. While at home he fixed my dishwasher leaking pipe and an old problem with one of the toilets in the house. I know who to call next time there is an issue at home and so should you!

I needed a toilet flange replaced as part of a bathroom renovation. Since it's the only bathroom in the house I was in a bit of a bind, but Nick sent Josh right away. Josh was able to quickly fix the issue for a great price. Will definitely be using Plumr in the future.

I haven't actually used them, but they were extremely prompt in responding to a request for service (within less than an hour of sending a Yelp request). Unfortunately, they're not currently serving my area (Wayland) so wasn't able to see their work first hand.

Nick did some work in my apartment last year. He himself was great, responsive, nice, but some of his workers were not as good. They installed the rough plumbing in my shower incorrectly - while telling me they had no idea how to put it in, and me trying to insist that Nick come out and supervise - and I had to engage the tile person to come back, tear out the tile, and redo it. Nick is a nice and honest man, so he paid for the extra work - but the whole thing was pretty stressful, and I wouldn't feel comfortable calling them back unless Nick or some of his top workers were going to be on-site.

Plumr is incredible! Nick and Jim have been amazing. Plumr shows up on time every time; they are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and reliable! I highly recommend them to my friends and family and I can say with confidence you will be glad you went with them!

Thank you Plumr, (Nick and team) for your recent visit and service to our home.  We had a recent emergency situation when our basement sewage ejector pump failed right around the holidays and Nick and team were prompt, punctual, considerate, easy going, strait forward and needless to say, problem solved for slightly lower than the other 2 quotes we had in just a couple hours. Still great. Still helpful. Still a must use. I need a carpenter handyman & I was really wishing I could just use Nick b/c he is so pleasant and easy to work with. (and he's a plumber)  The last time I needed him, he sent an equally as nice & competent assistant who ended up utilizing internal plumbing parts that he had in his truck and told me to return the faucet I bought (b/c it wouldn't fit). But ultimately fixing my problem & saving me $$.  Then another issue we talked through over the phone, and again he debunked and issue that the ENTIRE condo building (22 units) was having, yet everyone was just dealing with it, when really it was a building issue.  (I think everyone in that building owes him a thank you!)  And most recently he swung through to fix a minor issue, when it was convenient to my tenant.  Don't get me wrong, this guy is BUSY.  He just hustles & is super reliable.  Use him.  Or wait, don't.  I probably have 10 more plumbing issues I need him for.

As first time home owners, we were nervous about finding a honest, fair-priced, and well-trained plumber to take a look at our frozen pipe. Thanks to the wonderful reviews about Nick and his team, we decided to reach out to Nick at Plumr.

Nick responded within minutes of my inquiry (at 5AM I should add!), and came in at 7AM on his day off to attend to our frozen pipe. He is great at what he does, not only thawed the pipe, but provided a permanent solution so it doesn't happen again, and then suggested a great dry wall guy who we also used.

I'd recommend Nick and his team to anyone. It is clear he cares about the people behind the plumbing issue, and isn't just looking to make a quick buck.
